After finding toxic mold that had been covered up in our home, we asked Richard Migchelbrink of Fort Collins CO who owns Davies Mobile Park LLC as well as a few other mobile home parks, and also operates Sand Run Management LLC which is a property management company, to make repairs. He refused and told us repairs were our responsibility. I also worked for Mr.Migchelbrink and could not afford to argue with him, being he was my Landlord and my Employer, as I had just relocated my Family to Colorado where I did not yet know anybody. I worked for Mr.Migchelbrink fixing up his other properties to ready them to be rented and my Wife was contracted by him to do the cleaning.
A few days after mentioning the mold found in our house, Mr.Migchelbrink gave me my first paycheck after just over two weeks of working for him. It was $5 AN HOUR and at least 22 Hours short and no overtime had been paid.When I asked Mr.Migchelbrink about the pay cut, he replied "You weren't worth a penny and I think I made a big mistake renting to you and your Family in the first place." to that I replied "If it's like that, just give us our wages due and a refund on the unused portion of the $2115 we had paid him in advance for days not used and we would be outta there the following day. Mr.Migchelbrink laughed and told me my money was gone and asked me to read my contract! I reminded Mr. Migchelbrink that we had no valid signed contract then I asked if he planned on paying my Wife. He began yelling and cursing at my Wife about not having asked for her pay. I asked Mr.Migchelbrink not to talk to my Wife like that and when he continued, I asked him to leave on the grounds he was disturbing our "Quiet Enjoyment". He insisted he had a right to be there because it was his property so I brought my Family inside and told him I was calling the cops. He left very quickly.
Three days later there was a three day notice to pay or quit on our door. Richard Migchelbrink was now claiming that we did not pay our rent despite receiving a $2115 payment from us just two weeks prior AND owing us wages! I told him he was rediculas and assured him I could prove to the courts that we had in fact paid him not to mention, he still owed us at least $642 in wages that I could prove. I asked him why he would rather take us to court than just give back the unused portion of our $2115 which at the time was about $1750. I even told him he could keep our wages that he owed in exchange for the $1750 we were asking so we could move into another apartment. He refused to refund our money and insisted we leave his property before legal proceedings continued.
We now had no money knew no body in Colorado and were unable to move out of this toxic nightmare. A few weeks went by and we were served with a summons for an eviction hearing. When the hearing came, the Judge accepted Mr.Migchelbrinks admission that he had received $2115 in advance from us just two weeks before he claimed we did not pay as well as his admission to owing us wages. He told the Judge that painting and covering over mold was the procedure for dealing with mold. The Judge than ruled that we did not pay our rent.? We never withheld rent in lieu of repairs, we had paid our rent in advance! Even if the Judge couldn't rule on what the $2115 payment was made for, wouldn't the Employer who was also our Landlord not paying our wages be a major hindrance in our ability to DOUBLE pay the rent? Nope! Apparently not. We were evicted and when I asked about my counterclaim of Warranty of Habitability, the Judge stated that he KNEW we did not have written demands for repairs (I had several on my desk). The Judge set the "damages" hearing and we left the court where Mr.Migchelbrink began harassing us in the hallway until My Wife and I ran into the clerks office. When we got back to our home, Mr.Migchelbrink was parked in our parking spot. I asked him if he could move and he started yelling that I was a looser in front of my Wife, Kids and Neighbors. Then he grabbed his crotch and told me to suck his d&%K and to have my three minor children watch so they could learn how to do it real well with my children present and hearing everything he said. My Family and I drove down the street and called the Sheriff who recommended I file a restraining order with the courts when they opened the next day.
I was at the court before they opened the next day. My request for a restraining order was denied on the grounds that we were not in danger and since we had been evicted and should be leaving soon, there should be no more conflict.
Richard Migchelbrink then spent our remaining two weeks, shutting off our water without notice and harassing my Family on a daily basis.

Hes stilla jerk and he needs to learn respect for sure hes a mean [censored] person an honestly i wouldn't give a years worth of lot rent plus half every month and thats so jus trying to get more money. Hes a low life jerk

My wife and I lived in Davies Mobile Home Park when Migchelbrink bought it. The very first day he was in the park, he started harassing my wife about a leak in our outdoor faucet. I simply asked him for some advice in fixing it and he was a total choda about it. Things never improved. He would do alterations to our lot (tearing down a fence, putting in a concrete pad, chainsawing half the trees in our yard) without notice. He finally went around the whole park presenting everyone with a new lease to sign that had unlawful provisions for eviction AND entry into our home (this is Colorado, go ahead and try entering my home without my permission). I informed him and as many neighbors in the park that would listen to me that the lease provisions were illegal and got my 60 days to vacate the property. I only hate two people on this Earth and Migchelbrink is one of them. I only wish I could have warned you about him before you ran across him.
