David's Bridal - Canton, OH / Don't fool with DB because they're customer service SUCKS!
If David's Bridal had a 'money back' policy, i would of told all of my bridesmaids to return their dresses and we would go someplace else because David's Bridal has been giving me the blues!!!!
From day one when my bridesmaids/Maid of Honor went to the DB (Canton, OH) we got 'stinky' service. Then they had me in the computer twice, once under two different spellings, and two different names, which caused a confusion when it came to ordering my bridesmaid's dresses. Therefore we told them to put the dresses under their own names... we'll apparently that wasn't easy enough because they still had some of the dresses mixed up!! For some odd reason, they choose not to use last names for their dresses, (keep in mind i have two bridesmaides/MOH with the same first name). DB called me stating my MOH dress was ready for pick up, she goes all the way down there and guess what?? her dress isn't there, it was one of my bridesmaid's dress!! I went down there to 'straighten things out', (oh did i mention that our wedding party lives in Akron, and DB is in Canton which is about a 25 minute drive?) So i tell the sales lady that they called me about the wrong persons dress etc. I tried to get them to take something off my MOH's dress for inconveniencing her, but they claim they don't take money off (imagen that!)... So then they said they would ship her dress directly to her home, but of course the dress would come to the store first, then the store would sent it etc. One of my bridesmaids who attends school in Canton was nice enough to pick the dress up for her when it was ready... Okay cool. So DB called me the other day saying that "my maid of honor's" dress was ready. My bridesmaid picked up the dress which she THOUGHT was my MOH's dress, but of course, IT WAS THE WRONG DRESS!!!! I called the idiots to tell them it was the wrong dress, they wanna argue with me about 'this is the style number' we had down, and they can't order the correct dress until they get the other dress back etc. (I DON'T CARE WHAT STYLE NUMBER YOU HAVE, IT'S NOT CORRECT!!) So at this time my patience is real thin with DB... So i called corporate office in PA, told them the story, they contacted DB and phoned me back... They did offer to send my MOH a UPS tag so she could ship the incorrect dress back free of charge and they DID order the correct dress and they DID take 20% off her dress (even though the heffa in the Canton office claimed 'we don't take anything off the dresses... Doggone shame i had to contact corporate office all for 20%. I am so glad i decided to have my girls order their dresses now instead of waiting next summer close to the wedding date because if they would of pulled this mess close to my wedding date, i would of been a BRIDEZILLA forreal!!!... Bottom line, don't fool with DB because they're customer service SUCKS and they don't have their stuff together!
