David Hirst is a barrister who works for a law firm in London called 5RB, a firm that Harcus Sinclair uses and instructs to lie in Court filings.
Some lies are very blatent, for example his client has a history of very few customer complaints. Really?
Or worse, he claimed his client had information from a UK business that claimed I blackmailed them which was totally baseless and just pure puffery.
And then he lied and said he filed a complaint with the Metropolitan Police for blackmail, and why?
Because I demanded an apology for insulting behaviour.
No report was ever filed and no apology was ever received.
a very serious lie (misrepresentation), told to frighten and harass defendants into dropping legitimate claims for damages. He never told the Court afterwards about his lie and instead continued to express the intention to ‘coerce Free Spirit with prison’ if he did not tell black lies to reviews sites, lies that are morally wrong to tell.
It is a defence for blackmail to show belief in entitlement to money and that the menaces are justified (self-defence, public interest, standing up for oneself, defeating moral evil, charging for consultation in ethics and integrity, etc).
He also threatened to have websites made about Free Spirit citing him of bad integrity (that he now has!) and his behaviour backfired on his Client and Harcus Sinclair, as their Client has now been billed a million pounds in damages, and Free Spirit refused to lie, to the detriment of those on the side of moral evil.
In a dispute where one side must take a loss, those that abuse, bully, cheat and lie are clearly the ones that will have to take the loss.
In my opinion, 5RB (friends with Harcus Sinclair) is not ethical and places self-interest and the interests of unethical companies above common respect, moral considerations and a duty to the Truth.
I have never heard of a law firm insulting people and calling them myopic, a troll, hallucinatory, etc.
Nevertheless, this is what 5RB (via Mr David Hirst) did.
In my opinion, this barrister should be debarred and made an example of for disgusting and degrading behaviour toward a Spiritual Teacher as well as for showing a general contempt toward ethics and integrity in favour of supporting an unethical client.
He also lies in his barrister filings to the Court, twisting the truth around, making big lies of omission and is also implicated in coercion (tell black lies and perjure yourself or go to prison) – a very serious offence indeed.
David Hirst of 5RB is a fluent fabricator and a liar, exposed in the public interest.
Free Spirit does not advocate the tone of the above review, but it does show that there are very serious concerns about David Hirst indeed. He also appears on Solicitors from Hell for abusing and threatening civil defendants.
David Hirst of 5 Raymond Buildings reappears on this site, this time for adulterating civil disputes by threatening to cause financial loss
to civil defendants by way of the legal system itself – namely using the law as a tool to abuse, cheat and punish (improper purpose).
In a recent case, several letters written by him bear such threats.
The essential meaning of the threats are that if you do not do what David Hirst wants, he will find ways to extract money from you, or cause you excessive loss, by means of improper process.
He is being investigated by the Bar Standards Board for the matter.
David Hirst is one of the most upfront and competent barrister when it comes to defamation. He not only understands the law but if you are facing him in court you are doomed to say the least.

• representing the Mayor of a London Borough in a slander claim and in subsequent proceedings about the improper conduct of litigation under the Legal Services Act 2007 by the claimant
• a landmark appeal on the confidentiality and admissibility of irregularly acquired data on personal wealth in matrimonial finance proceedings – Imerman v Tchenguiz
• representing the Metropolitan Police in a number of libel actions, including on a trial of meaning as a preliminary issue and in an abuse of process application
His no-nonsense approach against his opponents breeds haters. As you can clearly tell from this post. Do you really think a barrister with David Hirst caliber and with a firm like 5RB would break the law? When my team lost to Real Madrid, I hated Ronaldo for being so good. This is the case here also. David is Ronaldo of defamation claims, he will fly kick internet trolls out of the stadiums.
