Dan Gamel / Poor service
Please forward this message to the two owners of Dan Gamel, not a service or representative. I have owned my coach for one year and have used it approximately 3 times. Since I have owned the coach the dash air conditioning has not worked. I just brought my coach to the Fresno, central ave shop for the 28 point inspection and to have the air conditioner fixed. I drove the coach from Visalia to Fresno and the outside temp was about 68 degrees, I turned on the air conditioner and pointed all vents at me. The air was not cold nor did it work at all. After your service representatives checked the air conditioner they indicated it worked according manufactures specification and would have to charge me an hour labor. They additionally informed me they could fix the air conditioner by installing a valve and the part would cost twenty dollars plus another hour labor. This information was disturbing because if the air conditioner was working according to the manufactures specifications or even working at all, what is there to fix?
I would like to resolve this issue without litigation if possible. The air in this coach should work and it does not. I should not have to pay for a manufacture defect or malfunction in a product sold by your company. A reply to this message would be greatly appreciated.
