Dallas BBQ / I am complaining about the rudeness of the duty manager and what happened with my dining experience
This Monday September 19 i came to dine in with my wife at 8:30PM and we ordered Homemade colesslo to start with and two platters of Steak and shrimp medium well with yellow rice, first the two platters came but mine was missing the tarter sauce, i asked the server and he bring me two, then when i started to eat my steak it was medium not medium well as per i requested, i informed the server and he took it away, it took almost 15 minutes to bring me a new one but without no rice with it, i asked the server about the rice, he had to go again and bring me a new side of rice, during all this my wife was almost finished her meal then i started myself to proceed eating mine which was very annoying to me as i work in the same industry as fine dining restaurant manager, so i know how it feels like.
I am a Dallas bbq customer since four years and i never expected that service.
The main issue now that i asked the server to call me the duty manager, he came after 15 minutes and he wasnt smiling at all to me, i explained to him what happened exactly then he said that he will give me 30% discount, i checked the bill then i was surprised as i found him giving me a discount of 6$ on my platter not on the whole bill which i was shocked as 6$ will not make any difference for me and thats not the way to compensate a customer for ruining his night dinner with his wife, i spoke to the manager again whose name is RANJIT and he was very very rude with me to the extreme which i was expecting at all, he refused to do anything more where i was really very annoyed, i called 911 because of his attitude but when they came they said they cant do anything and i have to address the corporate office for a complain.
I asked him about his employee number and his full name but he refused in a very rude way and threatened me to get me the police again from outside.
I have never experience such an incident before cause i am polite with everyone and i am assuming the same way of treatment from others and i dont expect that your company will accept such attitude from a duty manager for such a large branch.
