Back in 1996 I tried to buy a 16mb SIMM. After waiting for 3 weeks I started calling but never got hold of a person. Usually the phone would just ring endlessly, but occasionally I would get their answering machine. I finally cancelled the charge and ordered from somebody else. I received my order in less than a week. After two-and-a-half months Dakco sent me a card stating that they'd had "shipping" problems and were now ready to send my order! I told them I didn't want it but they still slammed my credit card 3 times and never sent jack!
