Daiso (Bukit Panjang Plaza) review: VERY Rude Sale Personnel 1

I had a negative experience at the new Daiso store in Irvine California yesterday. I love the store with it's unique and varied items. My problem was in how I was treated. After my purchase while I was waiting for my mom at the counter I accidentally moved my bag by a shelf of glass jars and one fell and broke. I quickly pushed the glass into a pile waiting for store help. A young girl asked if I broke it and I said yes. She told me I had to pay for it. I told her I was sorry but I didn't mean to break it. The glass jars were placed out it the open and could have been bumped and broken accidentally by anyone. She insisted I pay. I told her I wouldn't pay. Instead of being gracious to me as a customer she embarrassed me. I felt mad. Most stores would have quietly cleaned up the mess. She actually tried to detain me by holding up her hands to stop me from leaving the store. I was shocked with this treatment. Another young male employee filled me out of the store telling me to pay next time. This treatment makes me feel like not going back. They will lose a lot more than $1.50 if I never go back.
