Dairy Queen blizzard summer berry

Hi I want to let you guys know how disappointed I was this evening with the summer berry blizzard. My huaband was at a location on hillside in victoria bc he ordered a starwberry cheese quake with added fudge for me but the worker must have misheard him but when the order ready they gave him the summer berry one he thought I would like to try something new so didn't complain about it. When I tried it the berries where completely frozen and super hard there where 2 maybe 3 pieces of cheese cake just awful all round. To think that some expert thought this combination of ice cream and rock solid berries was a good idea blows me away. I would relly appreciate being compensated for the terrible ice cream and I really urge you to change the texture maybe make the berries into the same kind of set up as the strawberries?

Dairy Queen customer service

Yes I made a call in order tonight to local Dairy Queen at 0925pm where I am a regular customer. I'm a registered nurse who works at the local ER. Tonight after giving my name the dairy queen employee taking my order asked if I was the one who called every night, I responded I eat from there often and was told that I needed to have my food picked up by 10 to 10 if I would like my food. The store hours show to close at 10p. I do not go after 10. I do go to pick up my food at times between 950 and 10 when I am told it will take a certain amount of time to prepare my order. I found this to be quite rude and nit good for business. I could even understand if it was concerning making an order but not picking one up.

Dairy Queen product pricing - rude manager

During a two week period from 6/10/2018 and 6/22/2018 a friend and I visited a Dairy Queen Grill & Chill in Macon GA and another in Bluffton, SC. At both restaurants I ordered the 4 pc chicken strip basket with gravy for both of us. The price was $4.99 each without drink + local taxes. Both restaurants provided excellent quality of food and service.
Then on 6/25/2018 my friend returned to his home in Decatur, GA. He was so impressed with the chicken strip basket that he stopped into the DQ Grill & Chill on Lawrenceville Highway in Decatur, GA. He didn't see the chicken strip basket on the menu and asked if they offered it. They said yes and quoted a price of $7.19 which included drink and local taxes. He called me while there & I told him that we had paid $4.99. The manager proceeded to tell him that was a sale and it was regular price. She offered to give him the $5 lunch special. Prior to this trip he had never eaten at DQ because he thought it was ice cream only. Anyway he accepted the $5 offer but was only given 3 small strips with gravy and fries and a small drink. He also told me the gravy was like water. When he told me all of this I was shocked. I called the restaurant and the employee passed the phone to a lady with poor English. She said the basket price was $5.59 and no drink or $7.19 with drink. When I asked why my friend was sold a $5 lunch without sundae instead of the basket he asked for she just hung up the phone. I tried to call back 2 times and no one answered the phone. Today I called from a different phone number and asked about the chicken strip basket and was told each store can charge different price. The person then proceeded to hang up the phone. If this type of service was the typical experience I wouldn't go to any of your stores. However I have been in locations across 5 states and this is the only time I have experienced such poor service. A price increase or sale I can understand but lying about an item and substituting something that is not equal is unacceptable.

Dairy Queen roach & dropped blizzard

We visited the Dairy Queen on Cedar Road in Chesapeake on Sunday night, June 24th around 8p. While sitting in the booth back by the restrooms, the family at the booth next to me began pointing out to me that there was something under my table. Then they proceeded to point to my foot - struggling to get the words out so as not to scare me - because there was a huge roach (literally 2" x 1") crawling across my shoe then running off toward another table as I jumped up. Gross.

Immediately after that, the server brought over our ice cream and went to hand me my turtle Blizzard. As she proved the cup could go upside down (which I think is ridiculous and very annoying every time...time to change your marketing) the ice cream dripped all in my face. I was already flustered after the roach - and the fact I don't like the upside down cup) and said "I KNEW it would happen!" She was very sweet and apologetic but...really? A nasty bug then ice cream in my face? It's not the Sunday night family social I was hoping for.

I just thought you may need to know about the giant roach and am adding the ice cream dripping. I had heard it was supposed to be free if it fell, but honestly, I just wanted to leave at that point. Hopefully, the bug is an isolated event and you don't have cleanliness problems. :( Thank you for your time in reading this!

Dairy Queen chicken basket.

Tonight I ordered and paid for a 6 piece nugget basket. Brought it home and it was only 2 pieces. I would get it if there where 5 and was a miscount. Or if I had ordered and paid for 4 and received 3 strips, simple error. But no, I got 2 strips and some onion rings for $11. I could have gotten better anywhere else. I think this was blatantly lacking in any type of q/c on their end.

Dairy Queen product

I ordered a turkey bacon ranch artisan sandwich from a dq here in Akron, Ohio.. I only ate a portion of it and took the rest home. After I finished my sandwich I looked down at my plate only to find a staple. I have no Staples at my house nor did I have any on my plate before I begin eating my delicious sandwich from Dairy Queen. This could have punctured my jaw broke my tooth gone through my tongue or even worse than swallowed and cut my throat or my stomach. This is unacceptable and I would like to speak to somebody that can answer to this please and thank you. Jodi

Dairy Queen blizzard turtle pecan cluster

I received my blizzard without the up side down and i told the sales person about it and said those blizzard's do not qualify for the up side down and you get it free. I am very disappointed due to the fact that am a constant customer and I have always receive a good service till this date.

I would really want a refund of my blizzard.

Dairy Queen unclean dq.in williamston, nc.

On 6/21/18 at 3:00 PM we pulled into DQ Williamston, NC.. About 3 cars in drive-thru. Went in at 1st. glance pretty new style store. Ordered & went to restrooms and they were dirty. Got order & with only 4 other customers could not find a table that had been cleaned. We are loyal customers from VA. to FL. and felt let down. There were many employees doing nothing. Our order was good and prompt. It is a shame we could not find a clean table to eat at on a 92 degree day. We are 68 years old and think after our loyalty to DQ deserve more. Most DQS are well kept but we might have to rethink our ice cream purchases in the future.

Dairy Queen service

June 22nd/2018

Between 4:45PM TO 5:05PM I went to the Dairy Queen located at 2882 Kingston road. I ordered a vanilla milkshake, mini blizzard with Oreo and another mini blizzard with Oreo and fudge. I cashier seemed to be in her own world when I made this order. Just to make sure I repeated my order again and she looked at me and I said "I know". She kind of mumbled words and then said "royal Oreo" with a lot of attitude as if I should know the menu inside out. Her attitude was so disgusting ! Worst customer service ever. She had greenish blue eyes, with lots of peirecings. While making the blizzard her and her coworker were talking rudely about another customer right in front of me! I have never had poor customer service like I did today. When she delivered the blizzard she didn't even tilt the blizzard upside down. Thinking she gave me my order right, I started driving home while eating I noticed there was fudge in both. I went back to the store and looked at her and told her "I clearly asked you just for Oreo"... she fought back with me. Disgusting training provided to the Dairy Queen workers. Her co worker (same girl that spoke about the other customer) who apparently was in charge didn't even let me talk and was like "I'll get you a new one" ... she didn't apologize and made this problem look like it wasn't on their side. I'm very upset at the service I received today. I would like to receive an apology from that worker for her attitude. Proper training must be given to these girls because you will start losing customers.

Dairy Queen cake not made!

I ordered a cake online at the Columbia, TN store approx 10 days ago. I went to pick the cake up And it was not there.. the employee stated that the cake decorator had just "up and quit on them". Another employee stated that another person was there doing cakes last night while 2 other people came in and picked up their cake with no problem. We waited there 2 hours on my daughter's birthday, for someone that doesn't even do cakes, to attempt to fix us the cake. I still paid full price for it, along with our meals we ordered while we were waiting... I appreciate them trying to fix us a cake but this should not have happened... and then I wasn't even offered a discount. Not to mention a friend of mine had the very same problem the last week of May at the same store! I didn't want to get the cake at this store anyway due to the disappointments I have had the only 3 times I have been there before... but it is what my daughter requested for her birthday and the other store in Spring Hill, TN didn't offer for me to design it the way she wanted. To add while we were waiting the floor was so slippery that my child couldn't even go get her own drink because she was scared she would fall. Along with going to the restroom and there was no soap. The Fed Ex delivery men stopped in and waited for 10 min before they were even helped and the cashier stated they were short staffed... I understand that can happen but every time I have been to this store, which is fairly New, it has not been very clean and the service is horrible. I am very disappointed that I tried to go their again and was yet again let down. I will not be returning to this store and I hope the issues are addressed somehow because I do not see them staying open for business long with the reputation they are giving themselves!

Dairy Queen unprofessional

Yesterday my wife and I went to a dairy queen in bonnyville alberta to get some ice cream. When we entered the what I believe to be the owner/operator and her significant other were standing behind the counter in no uniform, the woman was wearing a rock band t-shirt and the man was wearing just plain clothes, they did not look like they worked there at all. The woman who I assume is the owner/manager was being very rude to the other employees snapping orders at them. But here is the part that right pissed me off, from in the kitchen her infant son comes running out with a ipad in hand yelling "mommy mommy!" and runs to her, she whisks him off because she is busy so the kid proceeds to run around in the seating area and then runs behind the counter and starts running around the kitchen, all as customer food is being prepared and hot grills all over the place.

Dairy Queen microwaved burger

Drive thru around 1:45pm. Double cheeseburger. The whole thing was piping hot. Not just the burger patties but the bun, mustard, pickles and ketchup. The bun was shriveled. The edge around the burger had a terrible color. The ketchup wasn't smooth anymore. Disgusting.
At least have the decency to not microwave someone's lunch. I hope it doesn't make me feel bad later this evening. I think this may be the last time I order lunch from a Dairy Queen.

Dairy Queen employee conduct

An employee that goes by the name matthew daniel, whom works at the dq in athens, ga on jefferson rd, has sent me sexually explicit text messages... While on the job at dq. The text messages are asking me to send him explicit photos of my genital area, as well as sending me pics of his. I have asked him numerous times to stop contacting me. I've made a police report. I'm afraid to complain to manager at the site out of fear of retaliation because he has made it clear that he and the manager are personal friends. I'm a loyal customer and I would hate for backlash to come against your establishment. If his employment continues there and I continue to get harassed then I will bring a civil lawsuit against dairy queen also. Dairy Queen service

I am traveling from Ga to Ocala Florida and I've stopped at 3 DQs since Valdosta. I haven't been able to eat yet. The first one I stopped at let me stand there almost 20 mins before they took my order then explained to me when it was time to pay they couldn't except cards. The last two including Gainesville stated the kitchen was closed due to people calling out. What a waste of time.

Very upset with service.

Dairy Queen microwaved burgers

This took place at the Dairy Queen kiosk at Mount Royal University in Calgary Alberta on June 18, 2018 at approximately 1:00 pm. They microwaved my burger. At it appeared that this was the usual practice. And I'm not talking about just the burger patties. She assembled the entire burger, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, everything. Then she wrapped it in the packaging and put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Could. Not. Believe. It.

Dairy Queen father’s day blizzard cake

I placed an order online for the Cotton Candy. BLizard cake. I go to pick up the cake today and they placed the brown chocolate Oreo blizzard cake topper on top of this blue/pink cotton candy cake and tried to advise me this was ok. I am beyond disappointed this makes the cake look atrocious and disgustingly ugly. There are so many colorful Fathers Day designs and they mismatched my husbands cake with this with no regards, apologies, or even trying to correct this problem. Dairy Queen free small blizzard for installing app

Was told by the on-duty manager they are not allowed to accept the free small Blizzard coupons/mobile for installing the Dairy Queen application. When I asked why not he said that the owner said he was not allowed to accept them. And so I asked him for the corporate phone number to Dairy Queen and he gave me the number of 585-6009 he didn't know the area code to it. I think I was given the runaround on that one. Just not a very happy customer. Thank you hope to hear from you soon with a resolution to the situation that benefits me.

Dairy Queen orange julius

Hi, I'm writing about an order of 3 Orange Julius purchased for my family. It tasted like orange juice (the viscosity as well as flavour), not an Orange Julius.

So I went back to tell them it didn't taste right. The woman said they followed the instructions on the board so it couldn't have been that they made it wrong. I told her it tasted like orange juice, which wasn't what any other Orange Julius I had tasted like. She then asked me what it does taste like, and when I said I couldn't describe it she said the machine may be broken but she could make them again.

Why on earth would I want them to be re-made from a possibly broken machine? Seeing as the last time we were in this same machine was broken, it's safe to say I declined her "generous" offer.

Dairy Queen s'mores blizzard

I came in last week and ordered a strawberry blizzard but what I got was more ice cream than anything so I couldn't even really tell the flavor so I decided to try again and order a different blizzard and this time I ordered a s'mores blizzard and once again I couldn't tell the flavor because barely any filling I explain to the young lady that the last time I was there I was not happy with my order because I couldn't tell any of the toppings that I ordered she gave me this really weird look like I was lying but I proceeded with the order and again I was disappointed, I would really love for the previous owners to return to work because they used to make ice cream like the customers requested and they never cheated Us in the fillings. This has not been the first or second time that I've been disappointed so I will not be returning to give them business unless the previous owners return or something is done thank you disappointed customer
