Dairy Queen terrible customer service. officially done supporting one of my favorites.

On June 5, 2017 I went to Dairy Queen in Morehead City, NC. Upon arrival to the drive thru I was asked to place my order. After placing my order I then waited for over three minutes due to the employees inside laughing and carrying on. They finally answered and were rude to say the least. When I got to the window, my two cups of hot fudge sundaes were handed to me poorly made and dripping with no lid. After dropping in my lap and onto my console, I knocked on the window and asked for two lids. After the employee smacked his lips, he handed me two lids and slammed the window. Finally he arrived with the blizzard which completed our order, once again what a disaster of a mess. I then pulled around to go inside and get napkins because he never returned. When I attempted to talk to him he walked away as the other employees laughed and carried on. I have a Dairy Queen in my hometown of Shelby, No and have loved them since day one! I will however no longer return to your establishment as I am fed up with the lack of training and piss poor attitude of your employees. They have no respect, no care, and obviously no management.

Dairy Queen service

I went to the dairy queen drive thru at 475 main street billings mt. 59105. The lady on the speaker and window was very rude. She was rushing my order and wouldn't let me finish and never got my order correct. vI jade to pay 2 different times. She didn't offer lids or drink carriers and was angry when I asked for a lid. She should not work fast food if she can't handle the pressure.

Dairy Queen poor customer service/value of food

I stopped at #41717 on my way back from Florida we ordered our food I could tell this place was out of control with management it was a bunch of teenagers working with no manager in site. I ordered a mushroom Swiss combo meal and wanted to upgraded my fries to cheese curds she said she can't do that ok I'll just pay full price then when they get the order up I had asked for it to be to go the little girl looked as if I had totally inconvienced her to make it to go then I proceed to ask for ranch to dip my cheese curds in lol she tells me it's 50 cents for any kind of dipping sauce which I think is totally wrong because those things should come with a sauce then I gave her the 50 cents and I figured it out why they didn't tell me when I ordered I handed her the money and she didn't even bother to ring it up bam then I knew what was going on and go to eat my burger and the bread was so stale couldn't eat it this is the worst Dairy Queen ever

Dairy Queen hot fudge sundae

I ordered a hot fudge sundae at the Dairy Queen on Great Northern road in SSM in the evening of Saturday May 27. The Sunday had little to no fudge sauce on it, and instead was just plain vanilla ice cream. The service was slow and didn't seem motivated in the creation of the products. I would like a coupon to receive a new sundae for free for the inconvenience.

Dairy Queen the manger named brandon

The manger Named Brandon is very rude and unprofessional to his customers and really down right rude to his staff members I have been to this dairy queen several times and I here him cussing his fellow workers very badly and I saw him shove one something needs to be done about this type of behavior. It seems like the Dq in Clinton Missouri needs someone with a little more professional training to run the restaurant. IF the Mangers In charge would take time and treat their employees with respect the may get something done a lot better. We go in there sometimes and the place is like a zoo, you have to wait on food for over 30 minutes and it's the mangers fault. One manger Named James the main manger breaks under pressure and throws big fits and then walks off what kind of manger is that all I can say is the Dairy Queen in Clinton Missouri needs all new mangers. They are a decrease to the whole Dairy Queen corporation

Dairy Queen breakfast packaging

I have orders breakfast from Dairy Queen (hash brown eggs with chicken strips) and 1. I've received it packed and the least hygienic way for that meal, usually it gets served in a proper plastic plate with lid, but this time I was served breakfast in a paper box, all the moist of the eggs was in the paper box and all the food was on top of each other, and the eggs and hash brown wasn't edible at all due to the packaging as it also had the paper taste in it, and food had no structure. 2. I received the meal more than an hour late and was cold and not fresh at all, note that the restaurant is less than 10 minutes drive (didnt have a ride and the weather in my country doesn't allow me to walk a distance) 3. Due to the packaging method and the late delivery I've got a severe food poisoning. Note that Dairy Queen's services are waaaaaaay below DQ's international standards compared to few years back, even the chocolate hot fudge they use isn't DQ's provided hot fudge they purchase chocolate syrup from the local supermarket to use it in all branches, plus the burger meat is local supermarket bought, not to forget the burnt charcoal like burger that I once received when I ordered a happy meal (burnt meat for kids? Really? It literally had charcoal on it! Very unhealthy). There are more complaints I can list down if you're interested.

Dairy Queen missing food

I went through the drive through and ordered my meal! I had to wait approximately 5 minutes for it to be fresh! After a 10 minute drive home, I discover that part of my meal is missing! I tried to call three times and the phone simply continued to ring. Once I got back to the drive through I had to wait five minutes to even get to the speaker. I told the employee that part of my order was missing and she told me to pull around to the window. This DQ is popular and always has long lines. I asked if I was going to have to wait for my food because my first wait had been quite long. She said "yes you'll have to wait, I can't move cars for you". I never asked her to move cars, I simply assumed because they were at fault they could bring the food to me in the line so I could leave quickly. I have seen them do this to move the line along before. Instead, it was implied that I was asking for some kind of special treatment. I don't feel like asking them to correct their mistakes in a timely manner is anywhere near asking for special treatment. She told me I could come in because the line was shorter but there was a reason I used the drive through in the first place. I told her no, I was not coming in. She was not rude to me when I pulled up to the window and I did not address the problem with them directly because they were very busy! I understand food service is sometimes a thankless job but I also felt that my complaint was not taken seriously! I want nothing more than them to learn from this mistake and get customer orders correct! Then own up to any future mistakes and correct it very quickly and not make the customer feel like they are asking for special treatment!

Dairy Queen manager

Purchased an order today at the Dairy Queen and was given a receipt to do an online survey for a free drink or blizzard. When trying to get to the survey online you had to have a 19 digit code, but the receipt did not have a code printed out on it. It said you had to enter a phone number that was given on the receipt. This number would not allow you to enter into the survey. So I called the Dairy Queen back and reported this and was told to call back and speak to the manager.

Well the manager would not take the time to talk with me. How Rude! Now just for the record I am not in a desperate need for a coke or blizzard, but was just trying to let the know something was not working with their tickets. So my complaint is that only "professional people" need to be in management positions.

Dairy Queen unhelpful staff

I waited 8 minutes for my meal and ice cream and on top of that I seen a girl who was doing many orders by herself in ice cream and it looked like she was trying to stock things as well as taking orders out as she made them mean while a guy walked back there and looked at the screen with many orders on it and didn't even stop to help her and just walked away I feel really sorry for that girl who was making orders as fast as she could mean while stocking things if I were her I would've said something or just walked out a lot of credit to the girl who works with unhelpful staff

Dairy Queen pretzel sticks and customer service

May 22nd at 5:15 p.m. I purchased three orders of pretzel sticks through the drive-thru. When I arrived home and my family proceeded to get the pretzel sticks out of the bag and eat them they were so hot that I literally burned my fingers on one of them. You could not pick them up without a napkin because they were so hot. When they finally cooled down enough to touch which was quite a long time they tasted scorched and burnt and they were terrible. I had college class that night and I did not have time to go back to the Dairy Queen so I went back this evening to order some pretzel sticks for my kids and tell the manager on duty about my experience yesterday. I explained the situation to the girl that was the cashier through the drive-thru. She told me that she would tell the manager and be right back. When she returned she just took my order and told me there was nothing they could do about the three orders of pretzel sticks I had to throw out the day before because they were burnt. She explained that the manager whose name is Cassie said that she would not do anything to make it right with me. I explained to the drive-thru attendant that I would just put in a formal complaint online with customer service and ask for the correct spelling of Cassie's name. I would like to also tell you about another issue that I find disgusting. The girls that work in the restaurant and in the Drive-Thru have long acrylic nails and I never see them wearing gloves. It's disgusting the amount of Filth and grime and germs and bacteria that ride underneath those acrylic nails touching customers orders one right after the other. I happen to work in the healthcare field and we do not allow any of our medical team to have acrylic nails because of the scientific proof of the filth and grime and germs that hitchhike underneath the acrylic nails. I should call the health department but I will first give you the opportunity to address this with the store owner or manager. The crew at this Grandview Washington Dairy Queen could use a lesson in professionalism. They are incredibly rude and very immature. I think you would benefit greatly from sending in a secret shopper to this location. It's disgusting and quite frankly if there is not some sort of credit for the pretzel sticks, I will not return to this Dairy Queen. We purchased approximately 9 orders of breadsticks per week if not more and this is not including any other food or treat items we get for the family. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time and I am anticipating that you will do the right thing in regards to the pretzel sticks.

Brenda I'm absolutely astounded by how many many pretzel sticks your family eats a week! I just gave them a cursory google search (I'm stoned & hungry) and I'm glad to see you normally love them.

Dairy Queen food fries

I ordered to grilled chicken wraps, grilled chicken burger and fries. The meats are hard to bite. Fries are old. This happened twice now. Due to the bad food i don't think I will go any dairy queen restaurant. I have worked in a restaurant before and have been to many restaurants but never have i had so hard food that's very hard to bite. I thought restaurants were to throw bad and that's been cooked for long periods of time should be thrown away instead of giving them to customers.

Dairy Queen dq blizzard cake

I am reporting unethical behavior by a Franchisee. I ordered a Recess Blizzard Cake online three days in advance of when it was to be picked up. I was personally unable to pick up the cake, so I had my sister do so for me. When I finally saw the cake I was disappointed (the pictures are below), the cake looked nothing like the photo online. When I called the store manager (named Haley) to express my unsatisfaction, she stated, "The cake looks like it does online." I went on to explain that it looks nothing like the online picture and that it looked awful, so much so that I wanted a replacement cake or a full refund for the uneaten cake. Haley went on to tell me that she was unable to process a refund for the cake without the owner's permission since it was a Blizzard cake. I asked her to call the owner and get back to me. When I spoke back to Haley, she informed me that the owner said if I returned the cake I could only have a $5 refund for an uneaten cake that cost me $34.99 or I could go back to the store across town and they would add some decorations to the cake I already purchased. I found the answer from the owner to be incredulous. When I asked for the number to call the owner myself, she stated that she was unable to provide his personal information (which I can understand). So I then asked if she could call him while I was on the phone to which she stated, "no." Then I asked if she could call him on the store phone upon me returning the uneaten cake, so he could tell me why I could not have a full refund for an uneaten and untouched cake. To this, she replied that it would be unprofessional for her to call the owner while I was in the store.
The reason I am posting this is that I feel this is fraud, that you would take my money and give me a sub par product and when I offer to return it untouched for a full refund the owner says, "no" with no further explanation why.

Dairy Queen terrible customer service

Rude drive thru attendant argued with me and could NOT place my correct order. Finally get to the window after 15 minutes, wait another 10 minutes. About to leave then realize the order is still wrong so I went inside and tried to find someone. Finally did and was screamed at to "back up man!" as if I were a threat. Asked for the correct items with my receipt in hand and they finally make it, give me a mini blizzard rather than a medium like I ordered. I point it out and the guy ignores me and just tries to get me to leave, finally fixed it. Went through all this because my wife is in the hospital and once given the okay to eat she was craving a cookie dough blizzard, the guy ended up giving me a brownie blizzard. I would at least like a refund for this absolutely terrible experience, please.

Dairy Queen runny blizzard

I travel all over georgia running car titles with my 3-year-old grandson. After running titles for the day, I take him to the nearest dairy queen for a child's vanilla ice cream in a cup and I get a mini blizzard. About three weeks ago we stopped at the dairy queen in elberton, georgia. When the girl handed me my mini blizzard it was in the normal cup only with a lid on it. Pulled out of the drive thru and into a space to give him his ice cream and when I pulled the lid off my blizzard it was just runny melted ice cream with some pineapple and chocolate syrup. I was too tired to deal with it and figured the machine was messed up. Today we went back to the same dairy queen and ordered the same thing. When she handed me the cup with a lid on it I opened it while still at the window. I said this is not a blizzard it's just melted ice cream. With a very rude attitude, she said "I can fix you another one but it won't be any better, that's how they are here. I drove off, but will never be back.

Dairy Queen dq slab cake

Hello i am severley dissatisfied with the purchase of my birthday original slab cake today. I have had a traditional slab cake every year for my birthday and look forward to it. My guests were excited to enjoy a slice and when i cut and served it we were all very much dissapointed that the fudge layer was missing. Your website advertises fudge centre and every time i have purchased original in the past its always had fudge. 50.00 dollars for an ice cream cake thats missing its centre is ridiculous. Im very unhappy and i have a photo of the cake upon request. I want a refund to my account or a free one. This is unacceptable. My entire party will not be reviewing your company well on social media or recommending dq cakes. Its ludacris what the price of a slab is to begin with and even worse when the product is incomplete.

Please respond asap and advise.
Thank you
Stephanie

Dairy Queen packaging for transport

Today around 11:20 a.m. I went to the DQ to buy two banana splits to go. The banana splits were put in a paper bag in such a way they leaked . When I delivered them a distance of about 3 miles they were melted and running out the bag and down the front of my clothing. Upon opening the flemsy plastic container we saw nothing but a brown milky substance . The only thing recognizable was the bananas. It was a cool day and I only drove a few miles. Is it not possible to package the ice cream in a way that it doesn't leak out?

I made a complaint about your containers and the way they are placed in the paper bags. As you will note in that complaint made regarding this same order, my banana splits quickly melted and ran out of the bags in a very short time and on a cool morning. My second complaint is the service. There was one woman being waited on when I approached the second cash register. Half a dozen people were waiting on the woman, a school employee, who was making a large order. No one would give me eye contact to say they would be with me shortly. I waited quite a while before one young girl went reluctantly to the cash register where I was standing ...finally giving me eye contact and asking to take my order. Is it not possible for a person with a small order to be acknowledged? Surely one of the 6 or 7 people helping the woman could have quickly filled my order.

Dairy Queen customer service

Went to DQ at 9:00, didn't get our food (two mini oreo blizzards) 9:45. We had to stand and wait in line that entire time. There were only two people working and I understand that especially if this location is struggling to hire people.
The biggest thing that bugged me though was the lack of customer service that the employees showed. While they were frantically trying to finish orders they didn't once smile at the customers, say they were sorry for the long wait, or even recognize that there was anyone on the other side of the counter. Because of this half of the people in line left. The employees need to be taught good customer service, even if it's busy.

Dairy Queen complaint

This is the second time I have put in a complaint about the Blue Earth Minnesota 56013 store both times it is been over blizzards the first time it was like a watered-down milkshake and I even attach pictures and talk to the store manager with no success he could have cared less this time my husband even told the kid at the drive thru we should get them for free because they look like soup and he said he would put them in the freezer so that he could tip him over one, it take an additional 5 to 10 minutes and they still were soupy I have pictures that is not how you make a blizzard this is the poorest excuse for it Dairy Queen it takes forever, the customer service is awful. I work customer service every day, I don't understand why it is so hard for people to make a blizzard I used to work at an ice cream shop, training is terrible there and the management needs to be replaced I would like some kind of contact back because this is unacceptable quality thank you [protected]
