Dairy Queen food quality

I've spoken with a support team on the phone before but I've decided to try an online submission. The location of the DQ I'm reporting is Hopkins, MN. I have taken pictures if needed. The current issues: restaurant doesn't open on time, many times they are out of stock for blizzards of the month, food is served warm/cold not hot or fresh, food sits out too long, blizzards are served with the bottom half/bottom quarter plain vanilla - ice cream is not evenly mixed, I have never been served my blizzard upside down like ever, and the fryer oil isn't being changed frequently enough - food tastes gross and looks VERY DARK BROWN and unappealing. As a customer I would rather wait 10 minutes for fresh and hot food than be served old and barely passable warm food. I'm also tired of getting "apology chicken". When I order a $5 chicken strip lunch, I would like 3 fresh and hot pieces, not 4 cold ones. Just because an extra chicken strip was added, doesn't mean the quality goes up. When I break a chicken strip I expect steam to rise from out of it, almost 70% of the time it does not. I have begun to save receipts of all the times food has not been acceptable and just started taking pictures. If you would like copies please let me know. I worked at a privately owned DQ in the past (in North Branch, MN) and I took the quality of the food very seriously. I was proud to work there because I was proud of my DQ. I am not proud of the Hopkins location. If I wanted cold food I would have reheated leftovers, not paid money for old garbage.

Dairy Queen 1/3 pound burger, extremely poor quality meat.

I visited the Dairy Queen at approximately 6:45 pm. located on rt 422 in Exeter, PA. I ordered the 1/3 pound burger combo and without exaggeration the burger was tasteless and disgustingly mushy. This meat has to be of the poorest quality. Extremely disappointing. I was not in a position to return to the restaurant so my wife and I just threw them both in the trashcan where they belonged.

Dairy Queen service dairy queen augusta

Ordered a large ice cream sundae. I waited patiently while 10 other s behind me got their order. Finally a worker with a raspy voice noticed that i had been there for quite a while. She asked what i ordered and i told her the cashier knew because she took my order. Cashier seemed confused and wss looking at the register like maybe it would talk back to her and remind her what my order was. Finally i couldnt take it much longer so i told the incompetent people to enjoy my money because i had to go.
Never again will i visit this facility. Oh, i hope you spend my money well.
Manager's name is Lynne and she stated it was the cashiers first night.

Went back in store to get managers name and she said Lynne. She is the lady with raspy voice. I repeated to her what happened and she said to have a good night. Lol. Never offered to refund my money! Seriously is this the best Dairy Queen can do? Couldnt even get an apology and got no sundae nor a refund.

Dairy Queen customer service

The assistant manager (Leann) of this Dairy was quite rude to me as I took my order and then she randomly left to go to the back and came back screaming and saying course words in front of my 6 year old daughter, after all of that it took about 15 minutes just for them to bag my order because all the other employees were messing around and laughing... I was very unimpressed with their customer service and I am never going back there again!

10/24/18 ; 5:15 pm dairy queen on Queenstown road stoney creek.
I ordered three 1/4 lb cheeseburgers and routine.
I asked for two of the cheeseburgers with mustard and relish only the third nothing but cheese. Repeated this twice when ordering and a third time when paying.
All three burgers had everything on them. I went back to the drive through window and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. I had waited too long already so I left with them as is. Disguisting, swimming in condiments. NO RECIEPT EITHER!

Dairy Queen food

I purchased a grilled a chicken sandwich combo meal yesterday 10/22/2018, and a banana split, and the sandwich was the most horrible tasting sandwich I have ever tasted ! I ended up throwing it away. That's the second time that has happened. First time was a hamburger. The banana split was ok but not like it used to be. Half the size for the price and not as tasty. Sonics is better tasting and bigger for the price. Dairy Queen is gone to the dogs and I will not be going back there again. I should have gone and returned the disgusting food demanding my refund of $13 but I was too far down the road! One thing for sure, I will pass thr word around. I am so disappointed. Dairy Queen has lost its sparkle.

Dairy Queen poor service

Yesterday I went to the Dairy Queen on 436 in Apopka, Florida. I wen6thur the drive thur. I was met with rudeness a d unprofessionalism. Shawntay did not have a clue on how to understand or speak the English language without it being repeated numerous times. At the pick up window, I was Not greeted, and never was given a reply, after 3 normal "Thank you's". I called corporate and was promised a call back from a operator/franchiser. That never happened. So, me and my 250+ women of Women's Encounter will Not be going to Any DQ, EVER

Dairy Queen equal opportunity violation and racial bias

To whom it may concern

I am writing to highlight two incendents that occured between my son, nephew, and store manager at the Dairy Queen in Phenix City Alabama. My nephew was accused by the store manager of stealing $40.00. The store manager then proceeded to call the police to press charges on my nephew. Upon arriving at the store, the police reviewed the surveillance video and concluded that it wasn't my nephew in the video. Furthermore my nephew was not an employee at the restaurant at that time.

Secondly my son has been working at dairy Cream for about 2 weeks. Since his employment he's been threatened with termination because his shift leader stated he was stealing food. The manager stated to all new employees that they would receive an employee discount if they purchase food while on shift. My son attempted to pay for his food and another employee refused to take his order. The same employee went to management and accused my son of stealing and the manager terminated his employment that day. This was a unjustified firing because he was instructed to do this by management. He was given no reason for the termination, he was simply informed that his service was no longer needed.

As a parent we want our children to grow to be functioning members of society. However this restaurant location is bias in how they deal with African American employees. This is uncalled for and I would like to know what can be done before I pursue legal action against Dairy Queen.

Dairy Queen a hamburger

On 19th October 2018 my son and I stopped at the Dairy Queen in Merritt British Columbia.

We were served two Hamburgers. The bun seems to be wet.

Next day my son and I were both having stomach type diarrhia. We are convinced that the staff did not use proper care in the service of of the food. We are both having problems a day later.

I would like some compensation from this transaction. The very least would be some vouchers for further visits to Dairy Queen in my area namely South Surrey BC.

Thanks hope to hear soon.
Note I have never had any problems with Dairy Queen in 35 yrs in Canada.

Dairy Queen chicken strips

I was at 2 different stores in southern Alberta in the past month.
The first store assumed I wanted the 'combo' without asking and then sauced my chicken strips so much that there was 1/2" in the bottom.
The second store put hardly any sauce on them and were so small and not worth the money I paid for them.
Plus there was a notice on the window stating that I could get something with my receipt, but both times did not receive one.

I'm disappointed in the product and the service and haven't been back since.

Dairy Queen blizzards and poor customer service

I bought 2, 6 piece chicken strip baskets and 2 large blizzards. 1 New york cheesecake royal and 1 hot cocoa oreo. I got home and we ate and started to eat the blizzards. The cocoa 1 had no whip cream and the cocoa/oreos were on the very bottom and was so strong due to not being properly mixed my wife couldn't eat it. And I had the cheesecake blizzard and it literally had 3 half slices of strawberry and 5 chunks of cheesecake and no gram cracker and all on the bottom as well. These were the worst we ever had anywhere. I called the store and asked for the manager the lady said she was and didn't give a name. I explained to her everything and told her we were disappointed and she replied well the cheesecake dont get gram crackers and the cocoa dont get whip cream. I replied apparently you don't know how to make blizzards because I go to multiple DQs and they put gram crackers in the new york cheesecake and the cocoa blizzard has whip cream. She then said well if you want free ones in place of them the owner requires you to bring them in to look at them. I told her I wasn't driving back tonight and not looking for a handout but they needed to know they need better training in how to make them. I will never buy from the Belle Vernon DQ again.

Dairy Queen management

In sevierville...the head manager..BOSS... is a bully to her lower mangers, has very short temperament when training anyone to proform a job, tends to speak to employees in a demeaning manner, Promotions to positions are are made by the BOSS with out consulting lower manager I many cases. and in my opinion the BOSS needs more training in employee relations and management skills.
..I just have to say the lower managers are very responsible and carry their boss despite her faults.

Dairy Queen food and service

To whom it may consern
On octomber 16 my sister and went to dairy queen for supper. We both had the 1/4 cheese burger meal. We haven't had this burger before. It was absolutly horrible, the bun tasted moldy and it wasn't. My sister didn't eat hers and I ate mine because I was so hungry. I usually have the double cheese burger and it really good. We also ordered our meals both with onions rings and we only got one order with rings.
Before we left I talked to the girl that took our order. We told her our concerns and complaints, she looked at us as if we were speaking another language, smiled and said nothing. We won't be eating that again!

Dairy Queen heath blizzard

I live in Noblesville Indiana, I order a large heath blizzard at the DQ on 5625 Pebble Village Ln, Noblesville, IN 46062, when I pay for Heath, specially a large and get tiny tiny pieces of heath, it is just embarrassing, I did not order and want to pay for just plain ice cream, but that is exactly what I got, needless to say I will not be going back.

The Dairy Queen located in Invermere, British Columbia has the worst service, highest prices and terrible food.

I have been over charged by them, have received food that should have never left the kitchen (i.e. hair in food, horrible presentation or spoiled) and have also received terrible service. Their employees cannot speak fluent English which results in incorrect orders and being charged for items you never ordered in the first place. When this happens, you are argued with by the employee and do not receive a refund or an apology for being charged for food you never ordered or being over charged.

They charge extra for each and every sauce that comes with a meal, their fries are never fresh and usually have rotten ones and their portions are extremely small. Blizards are never mixed properly, lack the ingredients and are never filled to the rim even though you have paid for an entire blizard. Their burgers are usually paper thin, burnt or have taste as if they have been sitting for a week. Their vegetables they serve on the burgers and wraps are never fresh and are usually slimy and close to rotten.

They have offensive music (swearing, distasteful etc.) blaring within the restaurant at all times which they run off of a personal cell phone taped above the door. When you ask them to turn it down or change the music, they roll their eyes and barley turn it down which doesn't do anything!

All in all, the Invermere DQ needs to be reviewed and have proper standards put in place. When the previous local owners were running it, there was never any issues and they prided themselves on providing excellent food and service, which is what the Invermere DQ needs now more than ever.

I have stopped eating at the Invermere DQ and do not plan on returning until their standards have increased, and this is a mutual feeling for many locals.

The new lady in training taking my order was very rude to me. She huffed at me when I asked for juice instead of pop and said you know I wish you had told me that before in a very short rude voice. I understand training we have have all been there but no excuse to be flat out rude to people. People need to have good customer service while serving the public not talk down to them

Dairy Queen worse service

In my hometown we have two Dairy Queen's, Granted the one by the interstate is a little better. I was disgusted at the service I received today at the one in town. I went in there with my dad, we weren't greeted. There was a line of customers and the employees were ignoring them just talking. Then once we order, we were told the soda machine didn't work(which was a lie). I received our meals, my sandwich was wrong and they didn't give my dad his fries and his bread looked disgusting and his gravy was cold (he order the chicken strip basket. I proceeded to back to the front, they agreed to fix it. I watched as all the employees just lolly gagged around, they finely got to the point of correcting my order. Only once I got back to my table it was still wrong. I only order a double bacon cheeseburger plain people. First they gave me no cheese. The second time they gave me no bacon. I was too the point I went up there. I told them I wasn't waiting another five minutes for them to sit there with their balls in their hands and not fix my order. I just simply asked them to give me the bacon and I'll correct it myself. After choking my meal down, because I refused to pay for a drink and only get water. An elderly man went to the soda machine and worked. I was beyond pissed at that point. The employees lied, were rude and not even doing their jobs. I will never go back to that Dairy Queen again. I'd rather drive 30 minutes to the town over and get good service and a better meal at a different Dairy Queen.

Dairy Queen bogo of the 99 cent blizzard

My husband and I visited our local DQ, as we often do, on the date above. We were armed with a 99 cent coupon for a BOGO blizzard for 99 cents. My husband ordered a large blizzard and we told the girl at the window that we had a coupon for another for 99 cents. She told me, at that time, the BOGO was only a small. We showed her the coupon and my husband told her clearly that was not what the coupon said. She just "blew us off" and fixed what she wanted not even entertaining that she might possibly be incorrect. She turned our blizzards upside down, thrust them at us and closed the window.

As I say, we visit this DG often. Clearly, it is not the money involved . . .it is that our patronage is valued so little. In close proximity to this DG, there is Chick fil a, McDonalds, Wendy's, McAllister's and Popeyes. We could have easily chosen another restaurant. As a matter of fact, a McDonald's chocolate sundae is a delicious alternative and only $1.

Come on, DG has been around a long time. You are, clearly, doing something right. I do not believe, however, the attitude shown us yesterday is how you envisioned your customers to be treated.

Dairy Queen the dairy queen app

I went to a dairy queen rest stop in New Jersey for the first time, really excited for my first blizzard. I even downloaded the app joking my experience would make me want to become a regular. I received a digital coupon for downloading the app immediately, where I receive a small blizzard for free. Awesome! I was super stoked. My husband also received this as did many others standing in the line. When my husband went to redeem the coupon he showed it to the woman and she said because she couldn't see the code, we can't redeem the treat. There is a timer attached that can't be stopped and if you back out of the coupon you forfeit it. I don't think that is fair at all seeing as it's your app that malfunctioned. I could understand if it was just my husband and me but 5 other people in line had the same problem. This was my first DQ experience and based on the attitude of the people at that location and your faulty app that jips people out of coupons, I don't think my husband and I will be patronising your establishments again.

Dairy Queen service and product availability

I go to the Dairy Queen located on Delaware Rt 1 at Springhill North of Milford. It is in the Country Corner Store. I only live 3 1/2 miles East the store and go there a few times a week. I get upset when I drive there. only to be told that their out of one or the other flavors of ice cream. You only sell 2 flavors, Chocolate or Vanilla as the bases of all ice cream products sold. And I could understand if I got there at 9:30pm when they close at 10:pm if they ran out but that is not the case. I have been there as early as 6:15 pm and am told that they don't have one or the other flavors. I also understand that equipment fail and they may run out of stock but it is at least once, sometimes twice a week that is occurs.

Then there are the times that they don't even tell you that the flavor is out and they make the cone with the other flavor. when you tell them that is not what you ordered, They argue with you telling that is all they have and when you ask for a refund you get it but passive reluctantly.

When I have said something about them being I am told while you know that there is a Dairy Queen in town. Will if I wanted to drive the extra few miles and deal with crossing the Highway and dealing with the traffic and lights, I would have.

What I don't understand is that your franchises are a service oriented business that was built on the reputation of sell ice cream based treats and keeping the customer happy. A happy customer is a returning customer. But Companies nowadays don't seem to care about their customers satisfaction. This is a far cry from how business was conducted in my youth.

I would like to see the franchise improve their operation to meet customer expectations and customers being treated as they deserve as paying customers with professionalism, courtesy and a smile. I would like to remain a customer but if the service and behaviors continue, I will not.

Dairy Queen owner

I arrived with my family the place is in maintenance. the only thing that works is to drive through it, we tell the cashier that we will take a little time our order, and after 5 minutes a guy approached arguing that if you can help us order and we say no everything is fine, with a very rude attitude tells us to hurry, says he is the owner, and just why you had 5 minutes ordering us ran from your business that does not need customers that take a long time to order, and we shout that we We were from his place almost hit my wife with 8 months of pregnancy if I could give less 5 stars. I'm going to make a complaint to the corporate

I have nothing to do with this situation in any way, however I just wanted to say that it’s extremely hard for me to imagine an owner yelling and assaulting pregnant women because someone took their time to look at the menu. I will say that I would be incredibly peeves with you too if you camped out in my drive through for 5 minutes- this preventing the restaurant from being able to serve other people. The restaurant has a right to make money and other customers deserve to be able to order and eat in a timely manner without having to wait on you to figure out what you want.
