Dairy Queen fraudulent currency claims

The dairy queen near our house Pearland tx near Pearland town center has made 2 claims on me through the drive thru that I was passing counterfeit currency. The first time it happened i was confused and asked what could be done and they said nothing. I could not examine the currency and I was told to pay again. I didn't think anything of it until it happened again with currency that came from somewhere completely unrelated. I find this highly unlikely. When I said they had told me this before they immediately became defensive. I would like someone to investigate this as I believe the employees are involved in quite a scam.

Dairy Queen use of a coupon

Perhaps someone at corporate can tell me where I can use my coupon in Illinois. Photo attached. This coupon was given to me by my family who travel frequently between their home in Madison Wisconsin and my home in Charleston Illinois, and who often stop at DQ for fast food along the way. There is no identifying store on the coupon, as you can see.

On Friday, Nov. 24, 2017, I was driving home to Charleston IL from Chicago. I would be traveling along I-57, and knew there were several DQs along the way where I could use my "Blizzard upgrade for $1" coupon. I just wanted to try the new peppermint choc chip blizzard.

DQ #1: The first DQ I went to was so convenient because it was in a gas station, and I needed fuel; I thought I'd kill 2 birds with one stone. After filling my tank, I went into the station to get my blizzard and a grilled cheese sandwich. A young cashier waits on me, I present the coupon and she asks 3 other people who are standing by an open back door chatting, "can I use this coupon?" They say yes, I place my order, she rings me up, it doesn't work. With a disgusted look on her face, an older woman comes over, takes the coupon, goes back behind the cook area with another worker, comes back and tells me they can't accept it because they are a private DQ franchise and can't honor the $5 AND $6 Buck coupons, only $5 ones. Me: alright then, thanks. And I leave, thinking okay I'll look for a DQ that's a stand-alone, not in a gas station. Please see the coupon ... there is no qualifying language about private or public DQ acceptance.

DQ#2: The second DQ I went to was a stand-alone, I go thru the drive thru, and say, "I have a coupon for a $1 Blizzard, may I use it here?" He tells me to drive around to the window so he can see it, I start to say I might want to order other items, but he interrupts me and says "just drive around first so I can see the coupon." I do; he tells me no ... it has to be a Dairy Queen Grill and Chill. I confirm that and say, "I have to look for a DQ that's only a Grill and Chill?" Yes, he says. Me: alright then, thanks. And I leave, thinking okay I KNOW the DQ in Charleston (my home town, my destination after a 3-hour drive) is a Grill and Chill. Please see the coupon ... there is no qualifying language about only being accepted at a Grill and Chill.

DQ#3: Finally, I am in my home town, Charleston. I go thru the drive thru, tell them I have this coupon. May I use it? The reply was "Yes, of course." YAY! Finally, after 3 hours of looking forward to the peppermint chocolate blizzard. I get to the window. The person takes my coupon, closes the window. Along comes another staff member with my coupon in her hand, and tells me, "Sorry, we can't use this here. It's not from our store. Do you know where you got this?" Me: "Not at all. It was a gift." Again from the staff: "Well, I'm sorry. Our coupons are stamped with our name." Me: Alright then, thanks.

By then, they had my food fixed and waiting for me, and by then I was genuinely hungry, so I told her I would go ahead and pay for the regular price on my meal. I also didn't want to let her know that by then I was pretty angry and frustrated, and I didn't want to be the mean old lady complaining at the window. Please see the coupon ... the store where my family got the coupon did not stamp it nor put any qualifying mark or X or address on it, to give a recipient any idea that it couldn't be used in Charleston Illinois or anywhere.

I did not receive a receipt, and I paid cash, so I don't remember exactly what I paid for my meal. I had the small blizzard and an order of pretzel sticks.

So ... I have a coupon for a free small sundae or upgrade to a small blizzard for $1 that I apparently cannot use! I'm disappointed, frustrated, annoyed, angry, and as good as that peppermint chocolate blizzard might have tasted, I really didn't notice due to what had just happened 3 times in order to even get the small blizzard.

Following your direction listed under "complaint details, " I believe I've covered everything I can answer to the best of my ability, except for my desirable resolution. Here's what I desire: I would like 3 usable coupons (since that's how many stops I made attempting to use the one un-usable one) for a $1 blizzard. My suggestion to you as a corporation is that you figure out a way to make your coupons universally acceptable, or you include qualifying language on them, and you make stores insist on stamping them or putting an address on them. The consumer should not be the party that has to be responsible for making sure that coupons handed to them are usable coupons.

Dairy Queen nobody is working

I came to visit dairy queen on 11/25/17 and nobody took my order. I went through the drive thru and nobody answered. They had this lady standing outside for an hour and nobody came to help her either. Once I tried everything I could, I called another location and they answered their phone. I asked the woman who answered the phone what time they closed and she stated that they close at 10 O'Clock PM. It is now 3:17 PM and this location is not answering their phone, the drive thru, or door. The address is 960 Oakland Park Ave, Columbus, OH 43224. Im sitting here watching multiple cars try and order something and the workers are literally ignoring everybody.

Dairy Queen product and service

I went to dairy queen in huntsville ontario twice in the last 2 weeks, first time i ordered the chicken tenders meal deal, they charged me 1.10 extra because i wanted a few peanuts on my sundae, then i get my meal and there was may 15 fries, 3 small chicken tenders, and the ice cream sundae was not swirled to top like it is suppose to be, the hot fudge was lacking, there was maybe a tablespoon of fudge on it and the whole thing was covered in peanuts, way to many, i complained to the girl at the counter and she said next time i come in she would make my sundae, on top of that they would not give me a receipt for my meal, i had food poisoning from my lunch there, but i did not give up, i thought i would give dq another chance, as it is one of my favorite places, so my husband, daughter and i went there the other day, and again no receipt, the girl got the order wrong, tried to over charge me, and the onion on my husbands hamburger was huge, nobody cared enough to chop the onion properly and there was some kind of red sauce on the top of his bun, i again ordered the chicken tenders meal, the fries seemed like they have been cooked twice, they were so dry and crunchy, i asked for a few peanuts and they said they would have to charge me 1.10 for a little spoon of peanuts, like really, so i complained to the girl at the counter and she didn't want to do anything about my food. so i am done with the dq in huntsville, they need to learn, customer service, how to cook and portion control.

Dairy Queen service and dangerous habits

I am allergic to onions. I have come to this establishment almost everyday I work with minimum problems, until today where I ordered breakfast like normal no onions. They gave me onions. No problem I thought I walked in pointed it out waited and got the fixed meal which I checked standing there in front of them. It had onions. This was 3 breakfast burritos which had onions on All of them. Not just 1 but All now twice. I showed them they then argued with me, not just 1 but 2 people that I didn't say no salsa (which contains onions) you can see onions in them and they still gave me an attitude and threw them back saying to remake them that I hadn't asked for it and that I was wrong pretty much. So I got my refund then walked out

Dairy Queen food and service

The food taste like [censor] at the yermo ca dairy queen location. They have a dirty janitor who works at the shell cooking some foul smelling chicken for the crispy crunchy. While the dairy queen workers are using the same oil thay he cooks in. I'm disgusted by this location an can't believe they still operate this business the workers at dairy queen are rude as [censor]. They do not care about their customers. They told me that the oil is fresh and he never cooks but i've seen him cooking multiple times. Plus i've seen him picking his nose and then continues to cook. I've said something to the manager kennia and she told me she would handle the situation. But all she did was talk [censor] to another worker. Very unprofessional! This location s needs to be shut down. And I will be reporting ro the health department!

Dairy Queen service

Just went to idabel, ok dairy Queen. Sign in drive thru speaker says : "help us win. Order 10 tacos get a free dilly bar". I did just that.
Didn't receive a dilly bar, and when asked them about it I was told "hold on, oh that is only on our 99 cent taco Thursday." I said, "then why don't you post that on your note."
I will never return to Dairy queen in Idabel, ok again. And will not recommend this place to anyone. Very poor service, and very poor business etiquette.

Dairy Queen ice cream cone sale

I go to the Dairy Queen located on S. Wabash in Chicago Il. I always purchase the ice cream cone (large), recently the workers and managers especially the young black men and a female manager have been selling me and making the clerks sell me a medium size cone for the price of a large cone.

One incident a Spanish clerk sold me a large cone for the price of a large cone and the manager or supervisor made her get rid of three large cones and made her sell me a medium cone for the price of a large cone.

I felt sorry for the female clerk because he "threatened" to fire her. I took the medium cone for the price of a large cone so she wouldn't lose her job.

This has been going on for a very long time and I started to take pictures so that I have hope of this type of customer service.

Dairy Queen peanut butter sundae with chocolate ice cream

When through the drive through in Sioux City IA, order a medium peanut butter sundae with chocolate ice cream. This is the 3rd time I have ordered this and as you will se in the picture the ice cream given to was very limited. I was hoping to get a little more than was given to me. I have never been given so little for a sundae and I have gone to DQ for years. It's just keeps seeming to get worse...

Dairy Queen service

I just left the Dairy Queen at Pompano Beach Florida on Federal Hwy after driving 25 mins for a couple blizzards.
The manager, Luanna told us we could not get an extra cup to keep our blizzards cold for the way home, we said we would pay for the cups and she said she would have to charge us for 2 more blizzards! What? I was so shocked I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager.
Is this Dairy Queen policy? I just can't believe it, such poor customer service!

This is not really poor customer service. They are a restaurant first and may have a limited supply of cups. They may also be following a corporate policy that limits their ability to sell them. Ultimately, their business is in food service and not paper goods.

Dairy Queen horrific service

The cashier who made our ice cream was extremely rude. Very unprofessional made my little 7 year old son upset. We don't get many treats especially not Dairy Queen so when we do it's a big deal and she ruined that for us it happened in the Royal Palm Beach Dairy Queen. The girl behind the counter had blonde shoulder-length hair she was rolling her eyes and wheh my son ordered he said he wanted chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream he was continuing with his order and she cut him off and said what?...what did you say? He then got a little nervous and scared and replied again chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.she said what?!?!, again very rudely. I told her what he wanted and she said that we don't have that! I told her that we had it here before that the person before just put the chocolate chip cookie dough topping on top of vanilla ice cream. She said she guesses she could do that my son was very disappointed to find out that he had about three pieces of cookie dough on as ice cream when the last time it was filled also he got rainbow sprinkles on top and there was barely a half a spoonful not much ice cream in the cup I got a mister Misty and it wasn't slushie at all it was half liquid my son told me he never wants to go back there again as he was crying very very upset

Dairy Queen given the wrong food from drive thru

Blizzards are our cheat food. Once a month, my husband and I drive the 30 minute to the Dairy Queen, get our favorite blizzard and pray they are not too melted by the time we get home. Only once have any of the workers ever flipped our blizzard over so I never even knew it was a thing. When they handed us the bag out the window, we headed home in excitement. The excitement quickly went away when we opened the bag to find sundaes. When I called the Dairy Queen, I was told I would either have to drive the 30 minute back or receive a gift certificate in the mail. Two weeks later I received a $5 gift certificate in the mail. What is that supposed to do about the two blizzards I didn't get or the time I wasted waiting on them to send me this bogus certificate. The manager knows he is wrong for this. Maybe he doesn't care about losing a few customers from his store. Whatever the reason, we have to find another cheat food and another place to get it from.

Who the hell are you? 1) the sundaes were chocolate which is something my husband is allergic to and I don't like. And for your information, I mailed the certificate to the address I found listed for the Corporate office with a copy of my receipt. So before you presume to know who I am, how I behave or what traits my mother instilled in me, check yourself first because I promise YOU DON'T KNOW ME OR MY LIFE.

Unfortunately if a product cannot be returned, even if it's incorrect, restaurants will typically not offer a refund because, as far as they know, it was consumed. It sounds like they did try to resolve the situation by offering you the $5 certificate.

Dairy Queen blizzard

I dine at your Woodinville Washington DQ, when I received my blizzards, the young man didn't turn them over. I called him on it and told him they were free, he got angry and walked away. a few minutes later a Latina old woman came out gave me a coupon and called me a bad name in Spanish, not thinking that I knew Spanish. I was very upset. this is poor practice on this store. I called today to talk to the owner and the manager named Linda was rude and hurried me up on my complaint and just asked for my name and number and hung up! Well! I need to speak to someone to regards of this DQ this is ridiculous! and bad service

Dairy Queen customer service and the meal

Today I went to the dairy queen @430 grand lake road Sidney nova scotia.
After waiting 14 minutes at the drive trough to get a six piece honey BBQ chicken meal, was disgusted to see that, my meal looked like slop! The fries were thrown into the bottom of the box and what small amount of them was smothered with the chicken and sauce. the five pieces of chicken, not the six I had ordered, looked very much like the left over meal of another dissatisfied customer!
I went inside with this hot mess and was given a knife and what I was told was the missing ranch which they gave me. this was not a ranch sauce and looked to be some kind of cheesy goo. I have never been so disgusted in my life and even though I have had this meal at other dairy queen establishments, it has never looked like this disgusting mess

Dairy Queen service

I went to the restaurant in Redfield SD and ordered my food and when I got to the window I noticed that the cook did not have gloves on and I think that is very unsanitary. One day I went into the establishment and the person that was taking my order had tobacco in his mouth (dip). I think that is very disgusting that a person would work in a restaurant with that in his mouth.

It is not a legal requirement for a food worker to wear gloves. Hopefully the employee is committed to washing their hands. In regards to the tobacco, I'm unsure why this would bother you as long as he wasn't spitting it out in the restaurant.

Dairy Queen horrible food, terrible customer service, no refund or resolution

I visited the hope hull, al store, received my food and it was the worst I have ever had. I have been filing complaints, I tried calling the store but they have 1 number listed that says "this number has been disconnected or is out of service" and the other number is a fax line. I have filed complaints with the bbb, dq hq, and filled out numerous complaints online. I have posted negative reviews online urging customers to stay away from this location and all dq's in general because they ignore customer complaints, have faulty customer service and customer satisfaction policies. They are all privately owned so corporate does not get involved. They only "pass along" your complaint. I am urging everyone on the internet to stay away from 1122 tyson road, hope hull, al, 36043 dairy queen and all dairy queen's in general. I will be filing more reviews online with rv dealers, the rv park nearby to warn all patrons not to go to that dq. I will also post negative reviews online with the bbb, consumer affairs, trip advisor, passport america, good sam, facebook, and any other web site I can find to post negative reviews about this store, the owner and her lack of customer service and satisfaction and all dq's in general. Maybe if sales start to decline dq will take a more serious stance on addressing all customer service complaints and resolutions in a timely manner. It took 3 weeks just to get an acknowledgement email that my complaint was received. It has been over a month now with no resolution!

Dairy Queen blizzards

On 10/22at about 8 -815 pm I was at the mcminnville DQ location. I ordered two blizzards. As I am waiting for my blizzards I am watching the girl make them. She over filled one of them and as she was cleaning up the cup, she got some on her fingers. I watch her lick it off her fingers and continue wiping the cup. Puts the lid on it. The window worker goes to hand me the blizzards. I refused the one I watch the girl lick her fingers with and continue handling the cup..unsanitary. We have talked with the manager before and it's as if they just don't care. At this point I most likely won't go there again . That place isn't very friendly and if the employee's aren't going to be trained proper I don't want to take my business there.
