Dairy Queen blizzard

Order a couple kids I've cream cones and a sundae and an Oreo blizzard. The lady at the window handed us everything then handed me the blizzard. It wasn't upside down. Mind you I had just read where it said served upside down or the next one is free. I then said something to the girl and she laughed saying we don't do that here. I just said wow. if you don't do that here then why have a sign promoting it

Dairy Queen $5.00 lunch menu

My daughter went to the Dairy Queen on Floyd Blvd in Sioux City Iowa and was refused by the workers for ordering the $5 lunch.. it was 3:57 when she arrived and ordered. I am pretty sure your sign says that it is 11am-4pm. When I called the manager she said there is nothing they can do. Her name was Rose. They give out food all the time to their friends and family but when it came to a actual customer wanting a special that is supposed to go til 4 they refuse. Something is not right about this and i feel that it should be addressed.. my # is [protected] and i would appreciate a phone call back please..

Dairy Queen service

On 7/12/18 my shop brought in 14 people from various states as well as Canada to Silverton, Oregon. We had dinner at one of the local restaurants . Afterwards we decided that since the weather was hot, we would take everyone to your Silverton location and treat everyone to ice cream. Upon arrival at approximately 7:00 p.m. we were greeted with this sign in the door stating " Due to the heat we will not be open tonight ". One might be inclined to think that when it is hot, you all would be jumping at the chance to make more money due to people looking for a way to cool down. I did notice on 7/13/18 that the location was open later as I drove by. I am a business owner and when I have an open opportunity to make money, I do not hesitate.

The disappointment that was felt by all is what bothers me. This location has had quite a few issues. When brought up to the management, when you can find them there, they are less than helpful. There are some good workers as well as some that do not have a great work ethic. This is reflective on leadership. If the management does not show good leadership, it will show in their people. Being a small town, this is a bad reflection on the entire community when visitors come in. We ended up having to go to the local Safeway store and buy boxes of ice cream to hand out to our visitors and sit outside in the heat while eating the ice cream.

I know from social media that this seems to be an ongoing issue with this location. These types of issues have been brought up various times and nothing seems to be done about them. Our party consisted of a total of 20 people including our visitors. The revenue on our party would have been around $100 + due to some also wanting more than blizzards. That does not seem like much buy when you add that up with all the other revenue lost by others missing out, that does add up. Someone needs to up the standards at this location. The weather is going to be in the 90's for a few weeks. That means good profits if someone was to run the location correct. The manager is very poor and many people in this small town are taking notice.

Dairy Queen internet

I installed the DQ app, however I never received the free coupon. I kept getting a lot of pop up ads to install the app (which i already did), so I uninstalled the app. I keep getting multiple pop up ads to install the app ... I want these pop ups to stop immediately. If they don't stop then I will contact The Better Business Bureau, and Consumer Affairs.

Dairy Queen no ice cream at an ice cream place

We came in at 9 pm on 7-15-18 and were told the ice cream machine was down. I find it hard to believe that dairy queen would have only one icecream machine. How are you going to have an ice cream place with no ice cream? I feel like i was lied to for whatever reason, maybe they had already cleaned the machine or something. I drove 20 minute each way to get dairy queen and was very disappointed.

Ice cream can turn to liquid or air can get inside the machine which causes nothing to come out.
Our store has only one machine. It is not that uncommon for stores to have only one
Employees might have been lazy though who knows

Dairy Queen dairy queen app

The free Dairy Queen small blizzard for July 15th on the app wouldn't go through for thousands of people. Dairy Queen screwed their owners because of their faulty app. If the app didn't go through the owner just says it's not my fault! The code seemed to go through later on which wasted the point because it gives you 15 mins to redeem. Faulty app and Awful customer serivice due to corporate issues! Fix your app and train employees and managers with more respect for their customers!

Dairy Queen chocolate milkshake

Last several times we visited our Dairy queen, The chocolate milkshakes tasted more like flavored vanilla, thought it might have been us but we talked to others and it's not just us, so we tried another Dairy Queen on the other end of town owned by the same franchisee not much difference, been customers for over forty years may have to think about going back even our grandkids have noticed, at least you haven't messed up the food yet.

Dairy Queen availability of menu items

On several occasions I have stopped in at that location to order food items. Once they had some salad items but not enough to make one or toppings. Another time no buns for burgers or had taco shells but no meat. Several of my friends have had the same problem with other items. I don't know if it is a managerial problem or lack of knowledge on whomever is responsible for keeping the inventory stocked. The staff is satisfied with the status quo. I visit DQ in Logansport, Benton, Shreveport and east Texas locations and never have this problem. This location needs a total overhaul because it is giving DQ a bad reputation. It is located on a main highway for many travelers headed through town to Toledo Bend for a day of fishing and vacation or other destinations. Not to mention the people that live there.

Dairy Queen blizzards

The consistency of your blizzards varies depending on who is working that day. The first time about three weeks ago. I ordered a medium blizzard with strawberries and chocolate. I do not remember the name. It came with 2 strawberries and very little chocolate flakes, and those were sitting on the top inch of the blizzard. Nothing underneath but vanilla ice cream. After getting home and realizing it I decided to go back to the store on 136th and Powell in Portland or. The manager was very nice and had the girl redo. It took her twice. Two weeks later at the same store, I ordered my usual a medium Hawaiin blizzard. Got home and realize it was a tropical blizzard the one with nuts. I even asked before leaving the window "is this a Hawaiin?" I was told yes. It is a good thing I am not allergic to nuts. I did not go back to the store. I wanted a Hawaiin so once again I went to Dairy Queen two days later. Ordered a medium Hawaiin. Got home and once again it there was a problem. I poured it out in a dish and found a big chunk of banana in the middle not blended in. No pineapple and very little coconut. This store was on 174th and Division.
First I shouldn't have to go back and get the right order. Second I shouldn't have to tell the clerks what it is any certain blizzards.
I am kind of tired of spending time and money and not getting what I ordered. Three times in the last month there has been an issue. So the chances of me going back anytime soon for anything is highly unlikely.
Whats really sad is I doubt if anyone at dairy queen even sees this form.

Dairy Queen the quality of food and service

The food has been absolutely horrible there for about a year. I keep going back in hopes it gets better but it doesn't. The fries are always old, the burgers are never fresh and always reheated. In fact they are so rehated the buns are shriveled and soggy. It's disgusting! We have also seen live video feed of customers recording roaches crawling around. Another issue is that the workers can't seem to get our order correct. We had to go back 3 times to get a burger right. They were supposed to compensate us with several free meals since this had happened multiple times! When we did go in to redeem the free meals, the didn't even bother to write it down in their book. So it was like it had never happened! We went back last night for the FINAL time! I ordered a 5 buck lunch. My husband brought it home to me and realized they didn't give us our drink so he went back to get it. I went ahead and opened my meal and it was sooo old I called him and asked him to let them know. My bun was soggy it was the most disgusting burger is ever had! Fries were old and reheated and I didn't get my drink. They replaced my meal with a supposedly "fresh" burger but when i got it sake thing! Soggy bread with nasty old fries. I'd really love to have my money back but lesson learned, I will NEVER EVER eat there again! And I'm also not the only person who feels this way. The one on first drive in Decatur, IL should be shut down! It's horrible and dirty and the workers are lazy!

Dairy Queen closing hours and customer service

The La Vernia TX Dairy Queen constantly closes early and has high school students that just sit in their cell phones while they have many customers waiting. This location is so unprofessional and really needs new management, like a responsible adult. As a franchise, I would think that you would have a standard and that corporate would inspect periodically to ensure customers see treated and served within a reasonable timeline and with respect. Hours are posted and they are never adhered to, three times I have showed up and once they closed early because of an emergency, the other time the ice cream machine was broken and the third time it took 12 mins to get an employee to take your order.

Dairy Queen dairy queen cakes.

They are very good but it would be much better to make slices of them! I mean that if you really want cake but don't want to spend all of your money on a big one, there isn't even an option just to get a slice. You would make much more money and make many kids happier if you would take a few cake and cut them and sell them individually. Please add singular slices to the menu. It would be a great addition!

Dairy Queen t cream

7/11/18 8:42pm My husband and I ordered 1 chocolate Dilly Bar and one small twist sunday with chocolate topping to go. "We won't have Chocolate Ice Cream until after labor day". I said really? She answered, "I know!"

We drove to the window and asked why no chocolate ice cream until Labor day and the older lady handing us our order at 8:48pm said "They can't keep up with the ice cream orders so we are running vanilla out of all three" then said "believe me people are not happy".

I realize our order only came to $4.98, but the principle of it was not being able to get chocolate ice cream. An easy, simple and yet always expected delight. Is this a common practice of Dairy Queens?

Dairy Queen drive thru

Ordered two blizzards...pretty easy right... one person in front in drive-thru. We waited for one car to get a single meal for almost 15 mins. If that wait time is expected for a food order, not that tough or out of the ordinary to have them pull around and bring the food to them when it's ready. And these are the quick thinking employees that claim to want a minimum wage raise...umm no! Last visit for this family, cherryberry and cold stone it is, and probably quicker.

Dairy Queen food and customer service

I went throught the Drive Thru and, these people were terribly rude. It was a middle aged woman and another older woman. The middle aged woman couldn't hear me and when i got aggravated, she got nasty. I normally love Dairy Queen but this one is nasty. When i went through i got a Delux Cheese Burger $5 lunch with a upgrade to a blizzard. It had a Mnt Dew with a cookie dough Blizard. The total was $6.14. The soda tasted like soda water with ice. The cookie dough blizzard was so soupy and they didnt turn it upside down. Altough that was bad there was more NOT ONLY that but the burger was RAW. I will never go to this Dairy Queen again.

Dairy Queen received a gift card...

Received a gift card to Dairy Queen. A few weeks ago my local Dairy Queen would only accept cash
not even gift cards. Told me to come back in a few weeks. Now they will accept all methods of payment but not gift cards. So I was told I can buy a gift card there, I just can't use it. I cannot drive all over New Jersey looking for a DQ thar might honor them.

Every teacher aide in my classroom received a $10.00 gift card from a parent who must have spent $100.00 and bought them locally. But none of us can use them. We will be sure to spread the word about these gift cards. There are plenty other ice cream businesses in the area we can show patronage to instead.

As a headquarters of a franchise Dairy Queen needs to change your policy to help local franchises so they will honor them. Had they honored the gift card I would have continued to be a customer there.

Dairy Queen unsanitary grill cooks

I couldn't get thru to the complaint line today...it would go thru the options then tell me the number was wrong...I currently live in the small town of crane tx and food options are very limited...I was so happy when I realized there was a dairy Queen but out of the 10 times I've been in there I've only gotten good service once...yesterday was the last visit I will make...several times I have seen people on the grill making food without gloves last night was the worst tho...I have 10 years of work in fast food and ran many stores and what I saw horrified me...I am currently food safety certified and if I health inspector came to this location they would be shut down...the girl on the grill making my burger wasn't wearing gloves she was constantly pushing her glasses up and every time she would grab a different item with her hands she would wipe them on her pants...there's no telling how much other stuff she had wiped on herself...I complained and she said he would put on gloves and remake my food...I agreed even tho it was still unsanitary because she had touched everything with her bare hands already...she put on gloves and started putting buns in the toaster...I watched her take a hotdog bun open it partly with her hands then push it against her stomach and shirt the flatten it to fit in the toaster...then after starting my burger she grabbed raw meat put it on the grill and went back to my burger anyone with proper training would know that is cross contamination and that she could of got me very sick that way...I finally had enough and told them I wanted to talk to the manager...they told me there wasn't one there at the time...the girl started to complain that she had out on gloves...I had to explain to her what cross contamination was and no one seemed to understand what I was saying there should not be people handling food that don't know how to do it properly I am very disappointed

Dairy Queen customer service

Last night (July 10th 2018) my two cousins and I stopped at our local Dairy Queen shop located near 132nd & Q street in Omaha Nebraska. The drive through line was all the way around the building and there were no customers inside so we thought to cut down on time we would just go inside and order. When we walked in, there were 5-6 employees working. It took over three minutes before someone finally came to the counter to greet us and take our orders. While I was ordering the employee kept cutting me off and asking questions about my order before I could even finish my sentence. I finally ordered the first item and moved on to my second item and he did the same thing again. After finally finishing my order he rudely informs me that their lobby closes in 5 minutes so if I don't have my food by then I'll need to wait outside. I was thinking it shouldn't take 5 minutes to make two blizzards but what ever. Then my cousins order. They got their ice cream right away and I got two of mine. I also ordered a burger for my husband who was not with us. We arrived at DQ at 8:50pm. We did not leave until 9:09pm. It took so long for them to make my husband burger that by the time we got home his ice cream was pure liquid. He had to throw it away it was gross. I split ice cream with my two year old and she was In tears because her ice cream was liquid as well. My husband burger was cold and was not made properly and they forgot some items that he ordered. Also while waiting for the food, a lady who I assume was the manager stated yelling and screaming at the top of her lungs at one of the employees because he couldn't get the door locked. Saying "forget it. I will do it myself like I have to do everything around here". I thought this was very unprofessional and my cousins and I felt very uncomfortable being in there. We felt that this kind of behavior was unacceptable. I understanthat everyone has their bad days but when there are customers around they need to tone it down a little. It makes the store look bad and word of mouth travels back. Because of this incident I will never return to this location. That's too bad because we go here every weekend night, it is right down the street from our house. Now we have to drive out of our way if we want good ice cream. I hope some kind of action is taken. This is not the the first complaint that I have heard from that location. Thank you for taking the time to read this long comment but I do appreciate it!

Dairy Queen personnel

The DQ on Main Street, Kaysville Utah has a young thin tall girl, no name tag that wears her hair in a pony tail with the front sides having numerous strands of 12" inch long hair hanging along her face. Having worked in the food industry and familiar with health codes I asked that she not make our ice cream sundae's. Monday, July 9, 2018 about 7pm.

Two young men were on the floor cleaning under the freezer of cakes with a great deal of lint and dirt they were pulling out from under it. One had lint clinging to his hair and he went behind the counter to deal with the girls at the drive thru. Not washing his hands and hopfulling not touching anything.

Love DQ but this one - not so much.

Dairy Queen my bbq bacon burger

I went into Dairy Queen on 350 highway it's my first time ever being at Dairy Queen so i want to try it out. So i get a $5 lunch meal they got and get the wrong burger so i ask could they remake it. So i have a picture too if you could email me for it. I received my burger and it had been bitten on the tomato and put on my burger. Now i will love to speak with someone important because this is disgusting and that whole franchise is disgusting i didn't not once disrespect anyone. And i receive my food like this and i don't have a car so now i have to sit here hungry. Smh that's sad.
