CVS not sending the prescription

Requested prescription May 3 for daily cholesterol medicine. Called May 21 and found that it had not shipped. Their phone rep apologized profusely and said it would be shipped by fastest method w/o charge. Called again on May 29 and their rep once again apologized and requested overnight delivery. I ran out of this daily medicine on May 25. They dropped the ball twice so far. We'll see if they drop the ball 3 times.

CVS favoritism in the workplace is very obvious

Favoritism in the workplace is very obvious! No handbooks given to me after I got promoted to clerk from cashier. Do as I do, is what I was told. No lessons on using there dex to do (1): ad reorders, (2): preboh, (3): cycle counts, price verifying, etc… Setting up the ad by myself. Also still having to ring customers when cashiers call for clerks to ring! No recognition when your day is over of what youv’e done.

And to top it off I am still answering calls to cosmetics when customers call on the phone, sometimes there are 2 -3 people on the phone at the same time. But you don’t even get a soft whisper hint of Thank you for helping and working hard. Very uncomfortable atmosphere. Only thing you here is: you not finish? What were you doing this whole time? Hmmmm…. I speak for many that do not speak. I speak for many that can’t afford to quit.

Especially when jobs are tight. So we just accept. But it is not acceptable. I have never made a costly mistake. I have never called in sick. I always came to work with a smile on my face even though I wasn’t feeling right. I came to work and customers made me feel happy and they are so greatful when you assist them on small things like sharing a store coupon. Anyways, THANK YOU for reading my side and many silent sides of the story. I already feel better.

CVS child falsely accused of stealing

I went to CVS today located on 57 Glen Rd, Garner NC - during my visit / while I was picking up a personal item - my daughter was perusing the store with her grandmother and picking up some cereal. My mother lost sight of my daughter (she is a teenager but due to absent seizures, is behind in development). Apparently my daughter, who tends to stare due to the seizures, was deemed suspicious because she was looking at the colors of nail polish, she was just so amazed by how many pretty colors there were and would put them up to her skin then put it back and take another and do the same. She had to go to the bathroom, so she put the polish back on the shelf (a little fact that they seemed to have missed), once she was done, she went back to the rack and was looking again at the pretty polish _ well she (apparently) did this one too many times and [the self-proclaimed] assistant manager walked up to her and said "two people saw you stealing, now get out and don’t come back or I will have you arrested!". My daughter was confused and terrified because, not only was she NOT stealing, but she could not understand why this adult was threatening her. She was confused and scared and escorted out to the store in a location she knows nothing about - she didn't have her cell, she couldn't call for me or my mother before being thrown out, she was hysterical in the front door crying that she hadn't done anything... Although my daughter is a teenager, she is behind in age development and she could not understand what was happening. All this happened in a matter of minutes! My mother and I were going crazy looking for my daughter! She would never leave on her own - she was nowhere in the store so we thought the worst, that she had been taken! Imaging our horror [when rushing out the front door calling her name] we found her in a state of distress because of what had happened - all she could mutter was “mom a lady threw me out!"... Filled with relief that she was ok but now upset as to WHY someone would throw my child out without cause, we walked back to the store for her to point out who had done such a thing. To our surprise, a young woman - blond [who will go un-named for now] approached us in a "not so nice" manner - to tell us that she had thrown my daughter out because supposedly two people [who, by the way, were now nowhere to be found] accused my daughter of stealing. I was in disbelief! I handed my daughters purse to the assistant manager and opened it and told her to search it [there was her brush, sanitary napkin, her lip gloss, tissues and her iPod] - I even told her to search my daughter's pockets! I told her that she was mistaken, that my daughter would never do such a thing and I told her that my daughter did not ask why she was being thrown out because she was afraid and confused as she. The assistant manager said "I didn't know she didn't understand” [my daughter, still in shock, just stood there, traumatized]. We told the assistant manager that she shouldn't have made her leave; she should have asked where her parents were! I asked her to call the sheriff’s office to view the tapes - The assistant manager just walked away - she had called the Sherriff- when he arrived, we explained what happened. He said, "She isn't filing charges - just leave for today". When I asked what she was accusing my daughter of, the officer responded "she isn't accusing you of anything - she wants you to leave for trespassing!" CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS! Not only does this assistant manager make a bad call, puts a child in danger by throwing her out of a store after falsely accusing her of theft... This person now gets to get away with asking us to leave for NO REASON! When I asked the officer to please assist us - we are new in this state, have never experienced this EVER - we wanted to know what our rights were against false accusation (not to mention the embarrassment and humiliation my family went through) - he said " you don't have any - just leave it as it is and leave for today"... I felt helpless, I couldn't help my daughter feel better (she was devastated), the officer was treating us like thieves and refused to tell us where the main command was (we wanted to file a complaint) - he [the officer] said " there is no crime, what complaint are you going to make? The assistant manager can ask anyone to leave without reason". This too shocked me, how can a vendor, for no apparent reason, call a cop to have someone who isn't doing anything wrong - be asked to leave for trespassing? The bottom line is; if you are Hispanic & living in this state - BEWARE! People such as this vicious and heartless racist disguised as an assistant manager will over-exert & abuse their authority to hurt the innocent. My daughter still hasn't recovered from this ordeal. When the County Sherriff's office was called to file a complaint - they told us we couldn't - that although they empathized, there was nothing I could do but chalk it up to a bad & unfortunate experience... UNREAL...
Apparently we ARE NOT alone; thousands of Latino’s and other ethnics are falsely accused at CVS every day. The evidence of this is on the web – I found hundreds of complaints – CVS needs to address this issue or we should boycott them for allowing this abuse by their employees to continue! After telling my family, co-workers and friends the situation – We have all decided that we will NEVER patron CVS again. As of tomorrow; our business and prescriptions will be moved to Walgreen’s or Wal-Mart [as suggested by the un-professional sheriff whom obviously knew & had a friendship with the A.M. to begin with].
BUYERS BEWARE!
Fight to have these laws that continue to victimize us the Latino community - we are NO LONGER the minority! There is power in #"s - stand up for your rights and that of your families - make a stand - show these big corporations that we will no longer tolerate false accusations and profiling!

If you talked like you types your complaint I certainly don't blame the pharmacist for not wanting to give you any more meds. If that is what you are complaining about but I can't really be certain.

CVS missing pills from prescriptions

This is a serious complaint I have with the CVS in Bedford, TX on Harwood/Central Dr. I have been getting prescriptions there for almost 7 yrs. what I’m about to tell you is because this is the 2nd time first time I called the store and of course they denied anyone could have done this not there fault, just odd this has happened twice within a year after all this time I have a medical condition I was diagnosed almost 6 yrs ago I need all me meds, when this first happened I was glad I counted my pills I was missing 4 that was when I called. so now since then I count every time.

I get 60 so someone might think I wont miss 4 I just got my script again and once again I’m missing 4 I have 56 I had 56 the first time this needs to be looked into I need all my meds. and just because someone might think I wont miss them they are sadly mistaken, like I said I have filled this script for 7 yrs and thank god this is only the second time but it has been to close last time was just last year and now again, please find who is taking my pills. This is a crime.

CVS poorly managed cvs pharmacy department

I have just returned from the CVS on the Upper West Side –located on West 86th Street & Amsterdam Avenue. There was one lone woman working at the cash register –getting customers their prescriptions and then ringing them up. When I first arrived I was the fourth person in-line — at this time there three CVS staff people in the pharmacy dept; one was the Pharmacist and the other I believe were assistants, the manager of the store was also in the Pharmacy dept at the time. The woman working at the cash register very clearly asked her colleagues for some help since the line was getting backed-up. The manager heard her request.

Instead of either asking one of the two pharmacy assistants to help her, or he himself helping her, he walked away without saying a word. The other two assistants literally just ignored her request, and the line just kept getting longer, probably at this time there were at least nine people on the line. I spoke up and said your colleague just asked for your assistance and you all just ignored her. One of the assistants came forward and made some excuses why she couldn’t stop what she was doing (probably helping the Pharmacist) and just take ten minutes to get through the back-up. I said instead standing there making up excuses you could be helping your colleague. Finally one of the other assistants made an announcement on the store’s loud speaker system asking for some help in the Pharmacy Dept. No one came and the manager was no where to be found.

It was pretty obvious why the “pharmacy assistants” wouldn’t help their co-worker — playing cashier even for ten minutes was clearly beneath their job title. And why the manager didn’t roll up his sleeves and help his staff is just beyond me. I go to another CVS located in Astoria — that store is so much better managed — it is as crowded and yet you never have to wait on-line for more than five minutes in the Pharmacy Dept. Everyone helps out — including the pharmacy assistants.

I think this will probably be the last time I go to the 86th Street CVS!

I called Bridge City Tx CVS this morning 10-7-16 to have one of my prescriptions transferred to their store from my pharmacy in Beaumont Tx as I was leaving to go to Houston for my Dad's surgery and did not have time to spend the extra hour going to and from Beaumont to pick up my prescription. I went by the store 3 1/2 hours later to pick up my prescription and the girl working at the pharmacy said they could not get through to my pharmacy. I basically told her she was a liar because I had been using Market Basket Pharmacy in Beaumont for years and had never called and they did not pickup nor was the line busy. She then proceeded to tell me they just had not had time and the whole time the pharmacist that was a few feet from me would not even look at me. I then told her I would call my pharmacy and of course they answered by the 2nd ring and put the pharmacist on in less than a minute. I went to hand the phone to her and she said "Oh, we cannot talk to him on your phone." I then told the pharmacist on the phone that I would have Walgreen's in Bridge City call him. I had my prescription in less than 30 minutes from Walgreen's. I have spent a lot of money in the CVS in Bridge City but I will never darken their doors again. It was obvious the girl was lazy and did not give a D...!

my son and I went to the cvs pharmacy in orland ca to buy his prescribed medicine. as soon as the cvs employee saw us coming to the counter she turned her back. the other employee asked her why she turned away from us and she told the other employee that we are just foreigners who are taking advantage of the american system. the employee said it loud enough so we could hear it. we were so offended but just kept quiet because we just wanted to get the medicine. on the second incident my son and I called this same cvs pharmacy at 9:oo am for medicine transfer from fremont hub cvs pharmacy to orland ca cvs pharmacy. when we arrived at orland cvs pharmacy at 12:45 pm we were told by an employee that we have to wait for 2 1/2 hrs. for my son's medicine. we noticed that this cvs pharmacy is not busy at all that they should be able to help us in a timely manner. my son got his medicine when the employee noticed that we were irritated. cvs top management should educate their employees that serving their customers in a timely manner is good for business. the customers pay for their employees' salaries and help cvs prosper. the third incident was when my son and I went to pick up his medicine at the fremont hub office california the employees were giving us a hard time because the orland cvs pharmacy communicated with the fremont hub cvs pharmacy already telling them that we were very demanding customers. this behavior of cvs employees at these offices mentioned should stop because we are the customers. just recently i got a text message that my son's medicine was ready for pick up at the red bluff cvs pharmacy. when we got to the cvs pharmacy we were told to wait because the pharmacist was having his lunch. we knew right away that this is not cvs business practice, that the employees of these cvs pharmacies were communicating with each other for the purpose of delaying us. top level cvs management should tell their employees that we are the customers and that we deserve service in a timely manner, if they don't their customers will start going to their competitors.

I worked for CVS for 2 years and i couldn't agree more with you. When a cashier sees how many items each customer has in their line, they can guage the amount of time each transaction will take. They KNOW when they need help! I've paged for backup and asked for backup so many times only to be ignored. And i feel bad because that means all the people in line will have to wait even longer, just because another associate feels to high and mighty to ring.

I feel sorry for the staff that had to deal with you.
You acknowledged you were the fourth person in line...did it not occur to you that the assistants were busy filling the prescriptions of the customers ahead of you?
Filling prescriptions is highly regulated - a store manager isn't able to help. Many state laws dictate that only certain people can even be behind the dispensary - as a measure to control theft/black-market trade.
The pharmacy staff are handling some very serious, potentially lethal drugs - they can't just drop everything because one person needs attention right then-and-there. How would you feel if your prescription was filled incorrectly because the staff were trying to wait on nine people at the same time?

If you are so needy and demand everyone drop everything they are already doing because you walked into a store, you should just use the auto-refill option (either online or by phone).

CVS rude remarks by cvs pharmacy employee

I was very upset and some other people in the CVS store on Route 146 in North Smithfield las Monday (8/29/11) were also by this incident that happened in the store. A manager or assistant manager was about to train 2 new employees I guess on how to use a label attachment gun. Before he started, he announced in a really loud voice and I mean everyone could here this and this is what he said: I HAVE A GUN HERE, SO EVERYONE WATCH OUT!”. I think in this day and age, it was a stupid and careless thing to say!

I was startled and people were looking around and some looked startled by the announcement. This was said by a management level employee, too! I imagine he was because he was training these 2 people. Well, that is my complaint and I think someone should bring this up to anyone in that store about that comment. You are dealing with the public everyday and I think you should be more cautious and sensitive to the way our world is these days!

CVS cvs pharmacy out of my prescription

I went into your CVS this morning located at 2 center plaza, Boston ma. I went there to have my son’s prescription filled for Amphetamine-Dextroamphetamine Britanny advised me she didn’t have the medicine in stock. I explained to her that it would be ok if I picked it up towards the end of the week. She advised me she wouldn’t have it later in the week either. I told her that I needed to get it filled because it is due to expire tomorrow and asked if she could see if any other CVS in the area had the medicine. She handed the prescription back to me and suggested that I go through the yellow pages and call the different CVS stores to see if they had the medicine.

I must admit I was slightly taken back by this comment the last time I check I worked in customer relations but not for CVS. What has gone wrong with us a society when everyone acts as though you are bothering them when asking them to do their job .I have been a faithful customer of CVS for several years. I have always taken all of my family prescriptions to CVS but if this is direction your customer service is heading in I will be happy to transfer my business to Walgreens.

I had that problem before when I needed Plan B. The woman actually started calling CVS's in the area for me and found one that carried it, which was the nice thing to do. That was very rude of her to tell you to go through the phone book. i also take Adderall and there's been a shortage of it for a awhile. CVS Pharmacies should have that information readily available instead of making you go on an Easter egg hunt for your medicine.

CVS this was one of the worst experience i've ever had at cvs pharmacy

I have been in several CVS stores in the Las Vegas area and in everyone I went in I found out dated products on their shelves in their over the counter sections. In one store I went into I purchased a cadny bar which I picked up from the counter when I went to use the green bag tag which they sell for you to use when you don’t take one of their plastic bags I was told by the clerk that I could not use it because I would have to bring in a bag to use it.

When I protested that she was wrong and thats not what it was set up for she got really nasty and told me that she would call her manager over to explain to me how it should be used not wanting to endure any more of her rudeness I just left the store. It seems in the Las Vegas area CVS has really let their stores go right down the tubes I don’t know about any other areas but they are in very poor shape here and the employees are just about the rudest I have ever seen in any retail store in my life.

I was there to return a CVS Pharmacy item. The clerk said I have speak with a manager about the return. I had no problem with speaking with a manager. The clerk was polite, but the manager on duty never come to the front to help me. My child was getting restless so I couldn’t wait any longer. So I asked for a number or something where I can speak to someone and no one but the clerk gave me the information. Waiting all that time I still didn’t get the return. This was one of the worst experience I’ve ever had at cvs pharmacy.

Former CVS employee here. She was wrong, the "rule" with the green bag tag is you either bring in your own bag or you just don't ask for a plastic bag.

However, my logic was, if the customer spent money to buy the green bag tag i'm gonna scan it anyway, and if they need plastic bags because they paid for a lot of stuff, then I'm gonna give them plastic bags. It's common courtesy.

CVS I myself will never ever return to a cvs again

I have a great CVS flu shot story for everyone! I live in Laurel, MD and went to the store on 15100 Baltimore Ave (store #1790) for a simple flu shot on 10/11/11. After the pharmacist administered the shot, she fumbled it, and then accidentally stabbed her thumb with my USED needle. She then told me that she “didn’t know what to do!” and then sent me home. She called me on my personal cell phone at 9:45 at night and told me she needed me to come back and fill out paperwork. Then, she called me THREE more times the next morning, and said she wanted me to get bloodwork done to make sure I was not positive for anything.

I finally agreed, (I’m a nice person, I know I’m completely fine but she was scared). She said she set-up the payment and I could just show up and get the bloodwork done. 2 more trips to the urgent care later, I FINALLY get the payment approved from CVS and get the bloodwork done for her. Of course, it was fine, and I thought it was all over. BUT WAIT! One week later, I get a bill in the mail from LabCorp for $340.00 IN MY NAME. I call the local CVS and the manager said it was MY PERSONAL PROBLEM between the pharmacist and myself and refused to help me solve the issue.

I finally contacted the corporate office for CVS at their 1800 line, and 21 PHONE CALLS and 2 1/2 weeks later IT IS STILL NOT RESOLVED. I have been mistreated, I have not spoken with anyone who will help me, and I am now considering legal action against CVS and the pharmacist who has poorly handled herself and has been completely unprofessional in the process. Everyone- avoid the Laurel CVS (and maybe all of them, they overcharge for the shot anyways, $29.99, really?) for your flu shot.

I myself will NEVER EVER return to a CVS again, and am passing along my story to all my family members and friends as well. They have until Monday when the bill is due to get it resolved, and then my attorney will be the next one to speak with them. I guess that’s what I get for trying to be a decent person and do the right thing.

CVS i'll never do business with cvs again

When I took my last Singulair this morning I immediately called in for my refill. When I went to pick up it up I was told there was an insurance issue. When I asked what that might be the lady said “just hold on, I’m looking it up”. She then told me that I was getting it refilled too soon and that I’d gotten a 90 supply on Oct 3rd and it should have lasted till Jan 3rd. I knew that it somehow wasn’t right because I’m not senile. I’m 63 not 93 and I take 1 pill a day.

When I got home and looked at the bottle, it was sure enough filled on Oct. 3rd. Obviously I was given a 60 day supply rather than a 90 day and it was probably my own fault for not counting the pills before leaving the store but I shouldn’t have to do that. It won’t happen again because I’ll NEVER do business with CVS again.

I was looking at the toys when i seen a box of cars after i picked them up i noticed the box behind it was open so i put the one down that i had in my hand and picked up the open box when i put my finger in it to see if the wheels would turn THE MANAGER TIM ( The ### ) came running back accusing me of opening the toy cars and attempting to shop lift he then took the box out of my hands and put it back on the shelf then picked up the one i sit down and put it in front of the opened one then he just walked off. Seriously who in their right mind would do this .

I was actually going to buy the opened box of cars for my little boy since he did really good while getting his shots at the doctors office but after this i will never do any business at this CVS or any other if this behavior is allowed to happen.

CVS what an inconvenience to treat a customer with such poor attention

Walked in to CVS #8373 to fill perscription and was treated very poorly. The gal behind the counter at the pharmacy drop off, should have been more professional. She told me I wouldn’t get my medication until 5pm, and it’s 1:05pm and I am the only customer at the pharmacy present. Next I am being told that because of their system crashing they are behind over a hundred perscriptions. Now, what kind of thing is that to tell a customerthere now and present. I don’t have transportation and I have to takea bus. I don’t have anyone to pick up my medication. I got out of my dictors appt. and need my medication. Finally, she said I would have to wait foran hour.

What an inconvenience to treat a customer with such poor attention. Customers deserve to be treated with professionalism. We shouldn’t have to suffer because your system crashed. Thank you for your time and I hope customer service skills improve at the pharmacy #8373.

CVS has some issues that need to be worked out. Every time I get my medication refilled there is a problem. They will be out of one medication and I will have to come back the next day to get it, always after noon. It isn’t always convenient for me to come back. Also 2 of my prescriptions have to be name brand. They filled it with generic and said the way the prescription was written it could have been filled either way. They didn’t even bother to look on my profile to see that I always get name brand. My husbands insurance pays better if I use CVS. I am about ready to pay the difference and use a different pharmacy.

I am pretty sure that other customers' prescriptions are just as important as yours - I don't understand why you feel CVS should drop everything and prioritize you over everyone else. Those other customers were ahead of you - and they pay for their prescriptions too. Just because you are standing at the dispensary doesn't mean people who were there before you suddenly don't count.

If you are so needy about getting what you want exactly when you want it, why not just use the auto-refill option? You can do it online or by telephone the day before. No surprises/waiting, and the staff at CVS would probably appreciate the "warning" that you will visiting the store.

The one in Granville Ohio is rude too.
Had pharmacy lady yell out what was my husband's medicine (personal issue) .
We always paid for a month ourselves, insurance covered 9. Always had them make snide comments
it costs a lot and never filled the month at pick up, always had to say again I wanted the month.
Stopped going there.

Today was the icing on the cake a young and I’m going to say it as it is, smart ### girl named Brandy first lied to my boyfriend, then to me, and then to cover her ### her boss. I will no longer be doing business with them. I’m the customer and they should do anything possible to help me instead of argue with me. And especcially lie to her boss. This is the CVS at Pryder and McCarren. It took 6 hours to get a hand written script from my Dr. good thing it wasn’t med. nessicary or I’d be dead. Get the other people back or train the new ones good customer service not how to be total ###.

Trying to get some stuffs from CVS and used their coupons. When I check out, the CVS staff was stare at me like I will steal things. When I scanned two coupons, she said you can only scan two which is something I dont understand. Why Cant I scan more than two coupons? And the computer accepted my coupons but the lady took out the coupons and said you didn’t meet the requirements for these coupons and I’m going to void them. So I said I don’t want to buy anything now. Since she ruined my day, I decided to leave without buying anything. But she suddenly I was stealing if I used the coupons.

How can a staff called a customer stealing just because the customer misused the coupons? I was very mad and I do NOT want to go back again. CVS needs to tell the employees how to treat customers!

CVS bad business ethics

Please do yourself a favor and avoid CVS pharmacy like the plague. I recently had to have my pharmacy change due to insurance requirements...moving from Walgreens (no complaints, very professional)...to this disorganized mess. I have never had such problems getting my medications...the staff constantly telling me they will get something done only to find out they did nothing and left no communication to other staff members about getting it done...and apparently they are either to lazy to leave computer annotations of what has transpired or are unable to. I need to take medications every day due to a chronic illness and I haven't taken meds for a week because they keep screwing up my orders (and repeatedly told me they called my doctor for refill when they hadn't). They are playing with my life at this point and I am so angry I want to stand outside CVS to let everyone know how pathetic a business they are. Please, please, if you have a choice, go somewhere else! They DO NOT DESERVE your business! If I get my meds tomorrow, the first thing I will do after that is find another pharmacy.

I picked up my hydrocodone prescription on April 13, 2012. I never count the pills- didn't think I had to. But when I did count them the following Friday- I only had 46 (I get 120 in each refill) I realized I was short 50 (would have used 28 in the week that I already had them). I got shuffled around from one pharmacist to another for 5 days- when the...

CVS misinformation

I went to the CVS store with several prescriptions to be filled. When I returned an hour or so later, I was told that a particular drug that I have taking for almost two years now required an authorization from my doctor. This was never required before. I was given what I was told was a form for my MD to sign, took it to the MD the next day, he signed it and I brought it back to the CVS Pharmacy. The same pharmacist, Andrew Norris, who gave me the form to be signed the day before, told me that it was the wrong form and I needed to have my insurer fax my MD and the MD would fax the authorization to the insurer and the insurer would fax the authorization to the pharmacy. Not the information I was given the day before. This is not the first time that Mr. Norris has been rude and difficult to deal with. He seems to be a very moody and mercurial person. I have dealt with CVS all over the country for years and this is the worst service that I have ever received. If I do not receive an apology from CVS, I will be taking my business to Rite Aid.

... and don't be surprised when Rite Aid will need to have your MD contact the insurance and submit a Prior Authorization before they can get a paid claim either... It's your insurance that has the problem- not the pharmacy.

CVS stolen picture cd disc

On the 1/11/2011, I went in the CVS drug store in Troy. N.Y. 12180. Picturs CD: Tour of Time Square. They took a cd disc that i gave to them at the customers counter for developing pictures. The attending cashier name tag read Sharon. She then gave them to a male cashier. Whom did the developing of the photo’s. He then gave me the pictures i paid for them. When i tried to get pictures off of the cd disc they where all upside down. I then returned them to the CVS Store. Gave the CD back to him, told him that the cd was not printed right, he printed another one.

I took it back to the Library and and the computer showed cvs photos, but there was not any photo showing in the file of the cvs disc. (Blank). I then went back at the CVS and Sharon took the complaint then asked me if i wanted my money back? I told her no.I would like my cd photo as i paid for. She than developed the me another cd. I asked her to give me back the first CD that i gave him that was upside down.

She asked him what did he do with it and he said that he did not no he looked into the garbage can held it up at me and said again i don’t no. Then left. There was also a picture with the multiple print that he also took. This is the 2nd time this have happened when i give them a disposable camera to Develope.

Putting opened candy back. Instead of trashing it. The manager Das and the shift manager Chris, did not feel it was WRONG! THAT WAS REALLY CRAZY and NASTY! The shift manager was so dam disrespectful, he said I should have paid him $5 dollars for putting the opened candy back on the sheft. Yes, on the shelf not in the trash. The store was dirty the peolpe was rudeand I'll never shop the again.

CVS gave me the wrong prescription

I went to CVS at 18252 Heritage HWY Denmark S.C 29042 on November 2 2011, to pick up my prescription and was giving the wrong prescription in the wrong box. The name of the prescription that was to be in the box is, Derma-Smoothe/FS Scalp Oil and there put a medicine for the face in the box. On the front of the box said apply to face twice daily and it is to be to the scalp twice a week. They but a difference prescription which is for the face call Verdeso. When I went back and get the right prescription, they would not change the direction on the front of the box .

This person said no one should be using your prescription which is right, but you never no who would pick it up and use it, things happen . This person was just working there for today, and I fell if they cannot do there job right they do not need to be working there. This is the first time I had a problem with cvs, everyone that work there before have been very nice.

CVS mistreatment by manager

I started working for CVS not too long ago and since day one it's been hell.

On the first couple of days I assumed the manager's 'attitude' to be because I was new. (As in his inerrant frustration was because I was just learning things, and hadn't quite gotten the hang of some procedures.)
There were several occasions where this continued, however.

I told some of my family/neighbors what was going on, and each said that he should be reported for it, but, I didn't quite see the use for it, until recently, when he humiliated me in front of customers, and one actually asked me "Does he always treat you so harshly, you poor thing?" -- I should not have to have customers calling me a "poor thing" because the manager is that awful.

Things he does include:
When I forget a procedure, and wish to do it according to the CVS codes, I ask him (Seeing as it is faster to ask him rather than go to the back of the store, find the code book, find the situation, and hope to find an answer) ... When he gives me a reply on how to do things, one he stands very very close to me and traps me next to my register, two he explains in a harsh tone of voice "I have told you over and over again how to do this, why can you not remember?" and on top of that he watches the next few transactions I do still standing very close to me.

When a customer has a complaint and upsets him, he takes it out on his employees by treating them like dirt. (He gets an attitude, gets terse with them and other customers, etc)

Always when a customer has a question regarding someone he talks down to them like they don't understand. We recently had an elderly lady leave the store crying because he "taught" her how to use the photo machine.

Today while doing a money gram the customer chose to purchase products and receive cash back for those, then do the gram, rather than going to the nearest ATM a mile or so down the road. The manager asked him in a condescending voice, "Are you aware of the ATM at the gas station nearby? Why don't you use that instead of doing this, then?" When the customer said he'd rather just get cash back here, and purchase his products. The manager stood so close to me--again--trapping me while he did the transaction. I called him to the front merely because my cash drawer was low on funds, I did not actually need him for the money gram, yet he did it anyway and explained to me how to do it. ( At this point in time I know how, and can do it well and according to procedure.) ... This was the customer that asked me if he always treated me so poorly.

Today also, I had a customer read off the numbers of a receipt for a return... Having slight numerical dyslexia, I ask the customers to read it to me rather than entering it in and getting it denied several times. Saves both parties time, and frustration, and so far no customer has complained about this approach. He came up behind the register--again-- and entered the number in himself, and told me I need to enter the number on my own, and I needed to "Keep pace, for this is a fast paced store" ...

He often approaches me with a very angry attitude, often walking quickly and aggressively. I cannot recall a time where he's ever approached me in a friendly manner save for the day I went in for the interview.

I should not have to feel sick about going into work on the days he's there. I love my job, and I wish to keep it. I am a good worker and that shows when he is not there, it's just that he frightens me so badly...
