CVS forced service

Funny since I choose to use the cvs caremark prescription plan forced on me by the state of ri at rite aid pharmacy because of the treatment in the past received at cvs suddenly I get a letter that my daughters prescription will no longer be covered unless I get it through 90 day mail in through cvs. Well played cvs nothing like forcing your customers. I will never choose to shop, purchase or by choice use a cvs pharmacy. This only solidifies that. The best part was the lady on the phone telling me that I could choose to opt out if I wasnt happy. Yes, I can choose to pay full cost for my daughters medication. Who can do that? ####. Money money money thats what its all about.

CVS services in general

This CVS on Bladensburg Rd in Washington DC for years has been bad. When I say the CVS I mean the Pharmacy. Everytime you go in their the line is very long also, there is one cashier. Your spending 30 to 40 mins in the line. The drop off line is long because the person at the desk has no sense of urgency. Also they never answer the phone lines. When I call I'm on hold waiting for someone to pick the phone up for hours and no one does. So now I have to go stand in the drop off line for a question that could have been answered by phone. The drive thru opens once and a while. It just sad because for years it's been like this . Please hire more people so the lines can move faster. Also if you stop people from ringing in other items that are not their medicine in this line it will go faster. People come in the line because they want a cashier to ring them in and their are self service cash registers at the front. It holds up everything.

CVS service

Female Pharmacist at 14 Highway 36, Keansburg pharmacy very rude and plain mean. I tried to refill a perscpition a few days early and not only did she refuse she was very nasty about it, no call for this kind of treatment to a customer. I am changing pharmacys. Perhaps she sould be better trained in customer service, or not work the customer service department.

CVS pharmacy

In the last 2 weeks I have had 2 prescriptions refilled that were wrong. I have a problem with this and when I call them they act like it is my fault that they cannot read what the prescription says. This has not only caused me gas money and extra money, but a lot emotional stress. Please check this CVS pharmacy because this could potentially harm someone.

CVS work environment

There are many reasons in why I am leaving and in no particular order I will list them. One being I am not a person to this company, I am a number. I am replaceable I understand that but when the company you work for that supposedly has your best interest first, sure knows how to let you know you are definitely replaceable. When you have employees put in many hours here instead of with their family and we very seldom every get ‘ I appreciate the hard work you done today, I can tell you got a lot accomplished’, we get yes you get this done but why didn’t this get done. Or its always the negative that a person does that has been called out instead of recognizing the hard work that is put out by everyone that clocks in every single day. Nobody here are robots and we can only do so much in a days’ time and work so fast before we start making mistakes, and if you think the jobs that we bust our butts in doing are easy then maybe you need to walk a day in our shoes and see how much we actually do (including the kits and omnicell). Now let me back up for a minute and clarify one statement that I just said about boss’ appreciating the work being done, I have been told by all of my boss’ here that my work is appreciated and I felt it to be sincere but your employees need to hear it every day they are here. Another reason of me leaving, the atmosphere of the technicians in the back is AWFUL! When you have people throwing the f bombs out just about every time they open their mouth (and there’s a few that does), WOULD YOU WANT TO WORK EVERYDAY LISTENING TO THIS? The drama in the back is not even comical. I very seldom EVER talk to anyone here unless I walk by someone and they say hey or how are you. With this being said, I HAVE NEVER said I was here to be promoted to take over someone else’s job and yet that’s what my coworkers are being told and hence one reason why no one can get along with anyone else. If there is no drama, lies being started, or people being worked against each other than the technicians in the back are not happy. If you want to stop the revolving door that’s taking place with employees then get the ones you have now under control. These people have attitudes and treat everyone else like they are dirt on the bottom of their shoe and they do it because nothing is ever done to stop it. There are people here (and everywhere else, but very noticeable here) that will smile to your face and 10 minutes later be turning every one against you. It’s completely ridiculous! You have adults working here but in reality they act like they are 5! We may not be 1 on 1 contact with patients but that doesn’t mean that there shouldn’t be any professionalism about how we work. There are snide comments made about everyone here and when you have a ‘ring leader’ that people are afraid of standing up against, then people are going to follow suit and blame innocent people. There again get your current employees under control or no one else will ever stay in this environment. The thing this week that has completely turned my switch is I have gotten no one to train and it appears that no one cares. I am not going to lose spending time with my family to come help train someone that could have had a lot more training than what they are getting. People WILL NOT stay at a place if they aren’t fully trained for that job before being turned loose and put on their own. The biggest complaint I hear from new hires is they don’t feel like they are ready to work by themselves but yet their training is over. Then in return they ask questions to the ones that have been here a while, they get talked about and ran into the ground and everyone is automatically turned against them because they ask questions. No one should EVER be treated that way. But yet when you (Jackie and Greg) walk through its all roses and the veteran technicians all of a sudden want to help with anything and everything. Don’t play a double standard, you either want to help and be here to do a job (which requires team work) or you need to be sent out the door. No company can work without teamwork. I know I’ve only been here 9 months but I have 16 years of experience and I’m not going to settle with being treated anyway a company wants or feels like treating their employees that day. I’m sorry if it sounds like I am attacking you personally but it has nothing to do on a personal level. The company as a whole should NEVER tolerate employees who tear down the company from the inside out. I have great confidence in both of you but employees are not going to work in this negative environment for very long. Word of mouth travels very quick and I should have honestly heeded the precautions I received before I came here. For the companies sake, I sincerely hope something changes from within or there will be very few people here working. I know to man people to count that’s here now working that a looking for other jobs. Its heartbreaking. I loved my job when I started but in this short amount of time being here the true colors have come out about people. The employees that are left deserve more than what they are receiving. With all this being said I will leave my badge for the door on my desk and when I clock out today I will not be back. I’m truly sorry I am leaving like this but you would never get me to tell all of this face to face. I’m a person who deserves more than what I’m receiving from here. I care 100% about my job and I do it with everything in me but no one deserves this work environment.

CVS plavix, generic

Spoke to the pharmacist after she dispensed Generic Plavix. It was from Dr Reddy's Lab in India. I usually bleed and bruise easily. Since this refill no bleeding from cuts. I am retired Vascular Surgeon who dealt with Plavix most of my life and I know everything about it. If you don't bleed with full daily dose of Plavix, something wrong with medicine.
CVS pharmacist did not answer, told me to complain to the manufacturer.
I told her that, patency of stent remain dependent on potency of Plavix and its blood thinning effect, however she was not concerned.
Generic means, not placebo or sub-standard meds.
CVS review your policy, meds from Other countries are not good for us.
Someone there, resolve my ISSUE.

CVS pharmacy dept, wrong meds dispensed, pharmacist decides she's a doctor

I am a physician myself and in Florida for 4 months. I have a wonderful relationship with my CVS in NY ( douglaston) and the pharmacist Maria there. I have been a patient/customer for at least 10 years, was is my entire family.
I had to have my prescriptions refilled( ones I am on in ny for 2 years) and my husband had to pick up a renewal of his crestor.
The gave him the wrong dose of Crestor, which if anyone looked at his history, it is clear as day that he hasn't taken 5mg for months. He is on 20. thank goodness I checked.!
Then i ordered renewals of my medications and was informed that they couldn't without new scripts. Well, in NY they would have called the dr, but here I had to do it all. I am also a cancer patient, and need my meds.
The dr sent them all immediately.
The next day I called Randy King the pharmacist and she informed me that she had two of my scripts and would not refill the third, because she felt it was not right. ( contraindicated in her opinion)..She disregarded my drs orders as well as the fact that I have been on the combination for months. The new research shows how they interact. Maybe someone should get trained on new research?
How dare she play dr without calling my dr?
I have stood there ( cvs Juno) and heard how rude they are to customers and elderly ones as well. Its a disgrace>>>>>

CVS pharmacy

Yesterday, 27 jan 2017 I went into my cvs in fajardo to get my prescription for synthriod a medication that I need for life. I refused to put my driver's license on the receipt since this may lead to identity theft which I already experienced. The pharmacist refused to give me my medication if I did not put my license on the receipt. She stated it was a requirement of my insurance company and they would not get paid. I had already paid for the medication and other items and she refused to give me the items when I again requested them and refused a refund, she raised her voice to me and I asked her to lower her voice. She stated that was her normal tone of voice. . I told her I would call the police and left. I instead called my insurance company and verified that what the pharmacist stated was not true the only requirement they had was paying the deductible, that is it. I filed a complaint with the insurance company. I am a federal employee.

CVS pharmacy

I have been a client of the cvs on linebaugh / sheldon in westchase florida for several years and the pharmacy staff (Ever changing) is an atrocity. Last evening, january 19th at approximately 700-730 pm I was going through the drive thru window to pick up a prescription for doxycycline. After waiting 20 minutes in line, I reached the window. After a disingenuous apology for the wait, I was then told to come in to produce my insurance card which they claimed was not on file. I found this to be erroneous immediately, as I have been a client for many years. I declined to go inside and produced my card. I have champva for almost 10 years. She then asked for a rx card which I have never been asked to produce. It was clear she didn't know what she was doing (Par the course for this store). In the end, they had a defunct insurance (Which I have asked repeatedly to delete) and that was what was coming up as inactive. The "manager" even turned me away, asking me to call the company. If I hadn't insisted that my insurance was active, I would have had to pay cash price! They even still have an old address in the system (That I have also changed with them on many occasions). Finally, they have historically overcharged me over and over again for certain medications for my son. I know as I receive the eob from champva with a credit. It sickens me that these people are allowed to remain ill informed and ill equip in this all important job. They make it their business to fail me and I am sure others who depend on them to perform in order to save money and receive the coverage that we pay for (Or earn through service). Such an atrocity! Cvs, please do something to rectify this abysmal customer service at this site. It's a serious and perpetual stain on the community. Thank you for your attention. Kimberly waidler

CVS service

I cannot tell you specific dates but on multiple occasions I have had multiple incidents with CVS Pharmacy in Secaucus NJ. They are extremely lazy, They don't do their jobs. you need to do jobs for them. I have had to contact my doctors on multiple occasions and insurance company and even bring correct price tags to them. they are extremely rude and do not assist you or care to assist you. My son had surgery in September 2016 and there was a problem with a code that CVS was processing and my son went a whole week without pain medication because they were to lazy to call the insurance company to get the correct code where the pharmacist actually said to me I can pay for a $250 pain prescription out of my pocket if I am so worried about my sons pain. I of course told him I had insurance for that reason where I don't have to pay out of pocket and you should pay for it being that you weren't doing your job. so I ended up after numerous times call the pharmacy ended up 3 waying the call with the pharmacy and insurance company and finally doing the pharmacies job for them.

Another incident was again I was picking up a prescription and noticed that there were B12 pills buy one get one free on sale so I brought them to the counter when I picked up my prescription and they rang up as regular price so I told the girl they are sale and she said no this is what it rings up as and I said no I will show you come with me she actually said no I don't want to go so either you take it at this price or not at all. Well that didn't end up so pleasant but I did end up getting it for the buy one get one free.

And again the same incident of the insurance happened with my daughter when she was picking up pain pills from the dentist and again they didn't want to call the insurance company and again I had to 3 way it.

And now today 1/20/17 I called them on 1/19/17 at 10 AM because they are also no longer 24 hours to make sure that being my dr. closes on Friday 1/20 at 1 that I get my refills for blood pressure filled. well I have called all day today 4 x for them to once again lie and say they are going to call the dr. and the pharmacy said that all they do is fax over a request for refills and I told him the dr. closes at 4 and he said he would call. I called at 10 mins. to 1 and they said no they are still waiting for the dr. to call them back and I said did you call and they said no we will wait for the dr. so again I had told them a few choice words and again I had to call myself for the refill.

I talk to so many people and everyone complains about them and was told that they only reason why they went to them was because it WAS 24 hours and it is not even 24 hours anymore.

This is totally unacceptable. Enough is enough and their whole pharmacy really needs to be replaced.

I hope someone will do something about it this is disgusting.

CVS next-to-non-existent customer service

Dutifully phoned ahead to have med ready for pick-up at drive-through window. Drove to store, waited behind 1 car for a few minutes. Driver of car finished transaction within a minute and I drove up to window. Nothing. Nothing some more. After about five minutes, I hit the yellow call button. The same inane "a store associate will be right with you" recording blared over speaker. Nothing, Nothing... I could see into store and watched as 5 people in line at the interior pharm. desk were helped and left. Pushed button again, recording playback but no human being. Store located on a busy road and very time consuming to exit drive-through, park, enter store, otherwise I would have done so at this point. After more than 15 minutes and pushing the damn button several times, the pharmacist, who I have unfortunately dealt with before, came over the intercom. "You need to come into the store, we only have 1 person on." No apology, no please, thank you, etc. Went into store, went directly to pharm., no line, asked for my script. The harried clerk was in process of retrieving my med. when I explained fact I had been waiting for close to 20 minutes outside before I was told to come in. Again, no apology, no explanation in response to what I said. I suggested they could, if nobody is available, post a sign to that effect so nobody wastes their time waiting for Godot. He sheepishly told me they can't do that, have tried in the past and "got into trouble". OK, lots of things wrong on multiple levels here but in the spirit of constructive criticism - ALLOW POSTING OF A SIGN; HIRE SUFFICIENT STAFF; INSTALL AN ELECTRNIC MESSAGE BOARD AT WINDOW; or maybe (shocker) THE RUDE PHARMACIST WHO FINALLY CHIMED IN COULD PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE AFTER BEING NOTIFIED 6 TIMES A CUSTUMER IS SITTING OUTSIDE IN THE COLD WAITING TO BE HELPED." As mentioned, pharmacist, female, middle-aged, middle-far eastern/Indian descent, is routinely rude, dismissive in the past so I was not surprised to learn she was apparently the highest level manager in the pharm (not trying to be racially insensitive, only mentioning ethnicity for ID purposes). Store: Wayland, MA, 1/19/17 4:20 pm.

CVS pharmacy store

CVS Management refuses to issue receipts for items purchased. Which includes medical prescriptions and any other products in the store. They claim that they will send a receipt via e-mail. But I never receive any receipts in my e-mail. I talked to Customer Support CVS, and they stated that there's nothing they can do. My major complaint is...if you accidentally buy an "over-the-counter" medication, and purchase the wrong one...or purchase the wrong size product...you can't exchange it or get a refund, because you don't have a receipt. NOTE : This is the CVS in Fort Pierce, Florida, 34951. Address : 4780 North Kings Highway. Telephone : [protected].

CVS my son's medication

My 9 year old son's prescription was dropped off on 12/23/2016. After numerous calls I've been hung up on, lied to and continually been ignored regarding the issue. My son is bipolar and has been off his meds due to an error CVS made as was told by the woman supervisor. I was given 2 loaners since then of 2 days worth each. So my son is all out of wack and we are now at mental health crisis center due to CVS! I'm definitely suing and my lawyer will be in contact with your office soon. Stick to selling high price items but stop being a pharmacy... the service is absolutely awful!

CVS horrible treatment by loss prevention manager

I'm sorry my friends but I need to vent about something that happened on Monday. Anyone who knows my sister Pam knows what a sweetheart she is and how honest she is. She has worked at CVS in Concord for the last six years and she was suspended on Monday because of a gift card which had a total of three dollars on it that a customer gave to her. Had she known that this was against policy she never would have used it. She used it when she purchased something from the store at the beginning of December. She was called into the office Monday morning and made to feel like a criminal by a woman who must just do that for the company while her boss stood by and said nothing. She was asked to sign papers when she was so upset and crying and told she would be called in a couple of days to let her know if she had a job. Well that call never came. That is what she deserved? I think they wanted to get rid of her because she wasn't making minimum wage and she was a full time employee. Now that the Holidays are over they didn't need her anymore. I will not do business with CVS ever again. All my Moms prescriptions will be taken out of there. If this is the way they treat there employees they should be ashamed of themselves. I am going to write a letter to there corporate headquarters and get her some compensation somehow. She deserves it! This came off my facebook page and CVS has already loss some business that adds up to far more than three dollars.

A business as large as CVS is will not notice any lost business unless the amount equals to a whole store closing. I have to agree with Wine Is good about employees accepting gifts from customers. I've worked for several large chain stores and everyone of them have the same policy, doesn't matter how small it is

CVS cvs pharmacy racist dm

My husband who was a store manage in DC, worked for 19 years at CVS, almost 20. He was a dedicated employee who worked more than 14 hours practically every day, and on more than 100 occasions stayed working overnight at the store to get things organized and work done that needed to be done at the store. When an employee or supervisor would call out, he was the first to show up if a replacement could not be found and often did this even if it meant working open to close. He worked almost every holiday so employees could be with their families. He received several bonuses, and last year or the year before an award for being a dedicated employee. He has also been in the top 5 stores in the distract in the past. A few months ago, a new District manager was hired. But once she started she began writing him up for minor things and today terminated him. Out of the almost 20 years he worked there he had never been written up. My husband is a legal Hispanic and this district manager has terminated mainly Hispanics since working for CVS (which has been less than a year). You best believe there will be a law suit for discrimination, because my husband has worked his butt off and dedicated literally half his life (he is 41) almost 20 years to CVS only to be targeted and terminated by a new district manager for being Hispanic. I am appalled by CVS Pharmacy work ethics and their treatment of employees, especially those who have dedicated and loyal to the company for so many years, like my husband.

CVS cvs advanced glucose meter

On 12/8/2016 purchased the cvs advance glucose meter and I was get very high readings. The last 4 days I have checked the reading from this machine at the same time with the reading from another meter freestyle
Precision neo and the readings on cvs advance meter are approximately 40-45 points above the precision neo. I took the advance meter back to
Cvs and they could not explain why there was such a difference. They called the customer service number [protected] and there answer was that there could be a 20% difference between what the reading should be and what the meter was showing as the reading for a particular test. This response is not acceptable. I have had type 2 diabetes for over 15 yrs. And have had several meters over that period of time and I have never had a meter that gave me readings so high as this meter.. They did not even offer
To give me a new machine to see if there was a problem with the one I purchased. The box the meter and testing strips was package in stated this item required no coding and was proven clinical accurate.

I tried to e-mail cvs customer service but trying to send them a message was a joke to say the least and I was never allowed to send it.
