CVS refilling prescription after submitting it a week ago

I have seen the same doctor for the last three years and I have had Flovent Diskus 100mcg for years. I always have a email sent to my phone when I have a upcoming refill but about a week ago I notice my Flovent Diskus was empty. I have it refilled at the CVS Pharmacy #6033, 2300 Highway 150, Oak Ridge, NC, 27310, I got a phone call (automated) and it said that the order was in for the Flovent this past week and would be ready on Friday August 25, 2017. Well, I stopped in today and it wasn't ready and the pharmacy Technician ordered it for this coming Monday or Tuesday, August 28 or 29, 2017. I am grateful my asthma is NOT SEVERE, or this could have been a trip to the doctors' office or emergency room.

CVS pharmacist cynthia whitmire

I have been refilling my medications with CVS for over 10 years. I moved 1.5 years ago and now use another CVS, but kept my same doctor who is my family practitioner for the last 8 years. (He is about 45 minutes away) I have had no issues until yesterday. A pharmacist on duty that I have never seen before named Cynthia Lindley Whitmire. I turned in prescriptions for me and my daughters ADHD medicine (that is clearly on my record for a very long time with both CVS locations) but she abruptly told me she won't fill it because my doctor is too far away and to get a new doctor. That she has issues with fraudulent prescriptions. This was mortifying and insulting. She didn't review the records or check with my doctors office. She was loud and embarrassing. I don't feel comfortable returning to that location anymore. When I called to find out what I'm supposed to do with my prescription, a technician named Amber Windham informed my that federal regulations require me to fill medicine within 10 miles of the doctor office. I have read all of Title 21 of Fed. Regulations, 1300 and can't find anything lime that.
I'm guessing she is lazy and unproductive. It seemed to me that she was looking for a way to not have to fill prescriptions and I feel like she has just made up policies to support her incompetence. This is a shame because now I have to have so much I do transferred to a new pharmacy.

CVS disrespectful manager

I was using the self check out station, as requested on previous occasions visiting that store. I had a question about an item that was on sale when it rang up it did not show the sale price like the other items did. I pressed the help button and waited, I did recheck the sale price on shelf. It showed 2/$6.00 which I thought was $300 each. When this gentleman leaned over from the regular register area cleared the call for assistance with his badge and said "we good", so I said no I needed help. I had question about the price. He informed me if I listened at the beginning she said sale prices showed up at the end. So I just said okay. Which I thought his response to me was rude. Then I checked out and the sale price did not show up just a saving of $0.50. leaving cost at $4.29 and not $3.00. So I asked him why and so he grabbed my bag and re scanned each thing and said see its the same price. Again rude. Then I said just refund it then, he was upset and throwing the money on the counter which fell on the floor. He did not hand me the money he just put it on the counter and put another piece of paper over it and said to sign that. Then he started ringing up the items I already purchased. I asked him why he was ringing up items I paid for already? He said whatever go for it then. I had asked him not to be rude and that he had been rude enough. He said I'm not rude. I asked him again why was he ringing up items that I already paid for, he threw the items in the bag and said oh yeah my mistake. NO apology. I was upset, I called back to speak with the manager. His name tag said John, the person answering the phone was named Josh. He stated he was the manager, I asked him again he said yes he was the manager. I advised him that the gentleman at the front cash register was rude, he said that was me and I checked on your price. At that point I disconnected the call I heard again that rude tone. I will not go back to that store again. If he truly was that manager he DOES NOT belong running the cash register. He has NO idea what customer service is. I work in customer service for 25+ years I do not need that kind of person speaking to me that way. I can easily go across the street to Walgreen from now on.
Store No. 7808 Date 8/23/2014 Reg. 03 Trans # 8020 Cashier #1509352 Per Receipt - Helped by: Johnnie- But when I called he said his name was Josh. I heard him say over intercom while I was in the store that there was no Johnnie there when someone pages Johnnie. So the manager has name issues as well as customer service issues.

CVS prescriptions transfer

Called and requested CVS Pharmacy in Springfield Plaza, Springfield VA, to transfer my 3 prescriptions to Walmart in Burke VA. Was assured by pharmacy employee that transfer was possible if Walmart Pharmacy called them with RX references and requested transfer.
Received a call from Walmart Pharmacy yesterday informing me they called and requested transfer but CVS denied having any prescriptions by such references. Feel like I'm being given the runaround by CVS Pharmacy. Decided on transfer because of overpriced prescriptions ($297 for 3 prescriptions!)

CVS unable to use customer care system.

What I want is for someone to call me.

My telephone number is [protected].

Between yesterday and today, I have spent almost two hours of my time trying to shop at one of your stores.

I am at the point where I am going to take my business to a competitor.

It's too much to tell you in this message.

My telephone number is the only way that I have ever shopped at CVS.

I have shopped at CVS for many years.

Now your system is not able to since my number. The last four digits of my customer care number is 1478. This is what appears on my coupons. The store has 4788 as my number, but these four numbers are the numbers preceding 1478. I cannot use coupons. Yesterday, after shopping at your Queen Anne Rd store for 45 minutes, I attempted to check out. My retail purchase totaled of $140. The coupons would not work. I called earlier today, spoke with someone who seemed to know what she was talking about. She said that the store manager was screwing up. She told me what to do. I came back to the store. The same manager wouldn't help me, and said I had to order a new card, which takes 6 weeks to get to me.

I am now sitting in the parking lot.

If someone doesn't call or respond to this written message right away, I'm taking my business and money to Walgreens.

CVS service

Went to your location On Jericho Turnpike in floral Park. Walk to the register and was told that I had to use the self check out when I informed her that I did not want to use the self check out they said I had no choice because there was no registers open don't understand why I had to use self check out. I feel at 1015 in the morning that there should be at least one register open with a person on it. Reason I don't use self check out is because I like face-to-face interaction I don't use ATMs and etc I don't use self check outs I always go to someone have to do face-to-face.

CVS store manager

I needed assistance, a buggy, basket, something. She had saw me & commented that my foot was swollen bad. We discussed hair care products that would give her volume. She left & my arms were full. I had to use my pockets to get my stuff up front. She then had called the cops, they wanted to arrest me but because I paid for EVERYTHING he couldn't arrest me. It made him very angry. He then proceeded to say that no one there wanted me back in the store. Why not? I didn't steal anything, wasn't planning on it. She even said I peeled off security tags & threw them on the shelf. I had done no such thing. Her name is Kristie. I pray that you don't continue to allow her to manage your store. I've managed a few places plus managed and ran my own for 17yr now...

Sincerely,
S.L.H.

CVS pharmacy techs and pharmacist

Everytime I use your CVS pharmacy in the City of Orange, Ca. on Meats ave and Tustin the techs cannot speak English or even able to converse profesionally. I have mistakes with my petscriptions either by input mistakes or wrong meds issued. The pharmacist on duty 8/1/2017 would not issue my partial perscritption due to me because she did not issue it. The perscription was partial in the first place because the tech did not properly put the correct amount during the initial fill. I had to alert the pharmacy and they issued the partial which they could not fill. I stopped by two times to pick up at the stated time, only to be told the pharmcist is still not in.

CVS lack of customer service

I requested a refill of my son's EpiPen online last week - went into a Cvs store today (August 1st) at 8 am - technician busy with another customer - Pharmacist did not bother to assist so I wanted another 10 minutes only for the tech to tell me that it was not ready and sent me to the pharmacist - who said the script was expired - not a big deal it happens all the time I was not upset and understanding but I shared that i intentionally requested the refill before the expiration date and she said oh it expires today - but it rejected by insurance so I asked why didn't anyone call me. She didn't know... I have always used a manufacturer coupon to cover the copay she looks at the coupon says it won't work because insurance won't pay and it cost over $700 so "Call them and you should check your formulary" - as a pharmacist I would have never told a customer that I would called the insurance especially if my staff failed to inform the customer of the rejection prior to arriving to pick up the medication- so I proceed to tell her its probably because EpiPen now has a generic ... and I get a blank stare ... so I then share that I am a pharmacist myself and understand how formularies work because I work for a health plan ... so she tells me to call the dr for a new rx ... when I worked as a retail RPH that was unacceptable I expected her to fax the prescriber on mybehalf but no she just walks away... so I said ok I will just go to the pharmacy near my home. In my opinion this interaction is embarrassing to the profession of pharmacy and not how I was trained to assist customers because I only come this location (St. Albans corner of Linden and Merrick Blvd) because my son attends the private school next door. Maybe because this store is not in a prominent neighborhood she fells that customers can be treated in such a fashion but I am truly offended and will never go back and possibly taking my patronage to another pharmacy chain altogether. Because there is a shortage of RPH - I understand the difficulty of finding quality staff but I hope someone in your corporate office addresses my concern because ALL people no matter where they live or background should be respected and given quality service. Thank you and have a nice day. Sharail Lawrence, PharmD, RPh

CVS curbside pickup

I placed an online order for curbside pickup on July 28th at CVS. The CVS location is 1100 Liberty Street Trenton, NJ 08611. I received a confirmation text at 7:25 p.m. EST. I had to call the store to check if there was a issue with my order. I spoke with Allexxus who advised that my order was ready and I could come in the store to retrieve my purchase. I made a curbside order, so why would I have to come in with my two children to pickup my order? After I advised that I will speak to a manager once I get to the store, I received my text letting me Kno my order was ready for pickup. This store is very unorganized. The staff needs better training as well. I was turned off from the curbside pickup services and it was my first order ever placed online. I would like for corporate to look into train the employees at this CVS much better than what I witnessed!

CVS i'm complaining about a pharmacist at your centre alabama pharmacy.. I didn't catch his name but, he's the "soft" spoken pharmacist at that store

I had went to Cherokee Medical Hospital because I have 2nd degree sunburn/ sun poisoning on my face and was talking to the " soft " spoken pharmacist ( not being ugly, but he sounds like a female when he talks ) and I was telling him that I had used sunscreen on myself but apparently it didn't work and he called me an idiot.. not once, but 3 times and then said he was just kidding.. NO ! They AREN'T " kidding" when they call someone an " idiot " 3 times ! It's VERY unprofessional of him to talk that way to me or to ANY customer.. it hurt my feelings because I was already feeling bad about being out looking the way I do and then to go get my prescriptions filled ONLY to be called an idiot by one of your pharmacist.. I don't want anyone to lose their job, by NO means.. but I do however, want whomever is reading this made aware of who you have hired with your company and how unprofessional he is.. we have only 1 CVS Pharmacy in the town of Centre, Alabama and it's not like I have a choice not to be a customer because my husband and I both use this pharmacy for our medications.. I am just extremely upset about this and I felt that someone needs to know about it so it doesn't happen to some other person.. thank you for your time

CVS accommodating rude rock hill pharmacist

My mom is diabetic and knows of a bundle that CVS provides. My mom desperately needed insulin and tried to buy it at our local Rock Hill CVS pharmacy. We were surprised that they did not know a thing about the bundle. So my mom stepped away from the counter and called a CVS representative and the representative confirmed the bundle. My mom walked back to the counter and told the Pharmasist that they confirmed it. The Pharmasist just ignored my mom blew my mom off and acted like she was a nuisance.

CVS neglect to refill a prescription.

Called in my last refill before expiration date to CVS in Nashville NC...i was told when I was to pick up med...on that date I was told by associate not only did the machine give me inaccurate information of pick up date but no refill was noted of being called in and now that expiration date had passed I could not get my refill. Now I will have to go weeks without a medication I'm suppose to take everyday for the rest of my life while waiting to get in to see my MD something that could have been done in time if i had gotten the refill. With multiple appts to regulate dosage and multiple blood test done due to being off my thyroid medication for weeks. This is not only an inconvenience but costly since I don't have insurance. A service as important as a pharmacy and deals with health issues should not be running its business on a machine that gives inaccurate information. They showed no remorse for their negligence and blamed me the patient by stating i should not have depended on their machine. Not only does it show me how they care for their patients but I will not use this pharmacy again. As someone who works in the medical field I'm very disappointed in a pharmacy that is so neglectful in patient care.

CVS I am complaining about the way I was treated when trying to fill a prescription

When I went to fill my prescription for adderal I was not treated kindly. I was told that they do not have that Narcotic in a rude way. When I asked if it could be ordered she said that it would take 4 to five days and didn't even offer me that option. She was rude. I should not be treated that way when filling my script. This medication was prescribed to be by my doctor for ADHD. She should be perfessional and treat coustomers with respect, no matter what the medication is for. It's not right. And it certainly looks bad for CVS I won't be going back there.

CVS abuse by pharmacists

Bad things are happening. I ended up suffering terribly by this pain which has returned in force over the weekend. I had a major anxiety attack over it and before I became suicidal I went to the er, and you know how scared I am of the er, right. But i've been horribly harassed by one pharmacist at my cvs and was mistreated by another at another cvs who called my doctor to complain about her prescribing opiates to me in the past. My doctor was furious.

Here is what happened - I was taken to the er today for extreme pain in leg and back which caused an anxiety attack and chest pain. I knew from past experience to go to the er before things got worse. So I went to the er and when released I went straight to my doctors office for help, since he's in the same building. He gave me two prescriptions, one written and one sent online. I went to cvs to fill them. Since standing in one place for more than a few seconds causes extreme pain I sat down. When he pharmacist told me that my script was ready I went to the counter to pick it up. They all saw me standing there waiting and did nothing so assumed they were to busy to help me so I sat down to wait in a chair about 10 feet away. Believe me when I say that they knew I was first in line. I wasn't concerned about a line because nobody was there.

I was sitting waiting to be helped a man came to the counter to wait. Since was formally in front of I explained by saying politely "sir. I'm actually in line but i'm in too much pain to stand in one place." make sure we understand that standing in one place causes extreme pace while I can tolerate the pain from walking which is merely severe. I had no wish to aggravate my condition. At this point the pharmacist became abusive, which is not new to me since he's be extremely abusive to me in the past on two occasions. On those past occasions I complained to his supervisor. Since he keeps being abusive she either ignored me, never spoke to him or he ignored the complaint. Three strikes - he's out!

Another pharmacist harassed my doctor about my prescription.

This is all too much to let go. Time to take action. I'm filing a complaint against both the pharmacy and the pharmacist with my state board of health and human services. You do not harass people who go to the pharmacy to get meds for anxiety and pain. You do not expect people who are disabled from chronic pain to be able to stand in line.
This time

As I said above, he quite rudely refused to let me sit down while waiting to be served, saying that I must stand in line while waiting. He said that he sees me walking around town so he knows I can walk. I tried to explain that I was in a great deal of pain and am unable to stand in one place without it causing severe pain but he not only ignored me but became more abusive. I even asked if I could move my chair 10 feet to the counter and he became kept it up. Before when he was this much of an [censor] to me I tried sitting on the floor in line but he yelled at me for doing it.in this case when I complained to his supervisor all she did is go back into her office. If she called the pharmacist from the office they didn't pay any attention to it, again!

This is still a free country, right. If someone does this to me again in a pharmacy can I sit on the floor and wait? If they call the police on me will I be arrested for ignoring him. He's not a doctor, an orthopedic surgeon, a neurologist, etc. He's a pharmacist - period. Numerous times in the past I complained about this so its clear that i'm being ignored. I just need to know what my rights are so that I don't get arrested. I need my medication but I also need not to be in more pain than necessary.

Since this is the 4th incident, 3 with him and another and another cvs location. I am attempting to file charges. I'll post what happens

Best wishes,
Pete

I have tried to resolve this with them many times with no change in their service. I am sick and disabled. No need for this.It causes me unnecessary pain and suffering. Some one in the administration of this business needs to correct this. They are very rude each time I come there. This is no way to be to the elderly and sick.

CVS prescription

My husband was given a prescription for Carafate 1GM/10ML. A day after getting brought it home I noticed the difference in the solutions in the bottles. He had taken a dose from anther bottle that he had gotten which was a small bottle. Once we noticed this we returned it to the CVS pharmacist and they told us they would not replace it with the correct and even amount of solution. He spoke to the store manager and was told she could not help him and walked away. He called the complaint line and was told they would take a report but could do nothing to help him. He was afraid to take it because he would either get too much or not enough. He wound up in the ER again that night. This is totally unacceptable and I feel the store should have corrected their error. I will be contacting my insurance company to see if I can stop CVS from being paid. I am also posting on my neighborhood website so others will see what a horrible store this is. I will be transferring all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I am attaching a photo so you can see I am not kidding around.

CVS pharmacy department

I placed a follow up phone call to CVS Pharmacy in Lanett, Alabama on July 15, 2017 in reference to a prescription that was dropped off on Wednesday, July 12. The call was regarding an order for Glucose Monitoring Strips for a family member that is on Medicaid/Medicare. The family member was in the hospital from 07/09 until 07/12. She was prescribed several medications, including the use of a Blood Glucose Monitoring System. Since my cousin is elderly and do not drive, my mother took the initiative to drop off the prescription. Upon dropping off prescription and getting glucose strips, a form needed to be signed. The pharmacy tech had my mother to complete paperwork for my family member, in which my mother was informed to sign her name instead of my elderly cousin's name. My mother was informed that signed paperwork had to be submitted to insurance agency for coverage. Process could take up to 24 hours. After 24 hours, my mother called pharmacy for update. My mother was informed that request had to be resubmitted because the insurance system was temporarily down. My mother was informed that once system was operating again, request would be resubmitted and that she would receive a courtesy call. No call was received. On July 15 another call was placed in reference to the status of the strips. By speaking with several pharmacy reps, no one appeared to know the status and per the pharmacy tech there wasn't a signed form on file. The reason for this complaint is that my family has been a loyal customer of your pharmacy for years and this is not the first time that we have had this problem. On numerous times, we have placed orders for prescriptions but they were not ready in a timely manner. Prescriptions were also dropped off and for some unexplained reason were not filled by the date of pick up. I have experienced these issues myself but continued to stay with this pharmacy, however when these issues occurred with my elderly grandmother (who is now deceased), we had to move her account to another pharmacy. She had a stroke and therefore needed her medication in a timely manner. Prescriptions were presented to your pharmacy for refill but there were delays due to incomplete paperwork (signature, insurance follow up, etc). Because of the delays, we had no choice but to transfer all of her medications to another pharmacy. It just amazed me that when my grandmother's account was transferred to another pharmacy that I can honestly say above a shadow of the doubt that these issues were never encountered. Although, my existing family members continued to render services from CVS we believed that things would change. However, they have not. Just recently I encountered an issue with my prescription in which my eye doctor sent in the prescription while I was sitting in the office with her but for some reason, my prescription was not received and I had to contact my doctor at least twice to have my prescription resent. My elderly family member cannot at this time afford to have issues with the delay of the prescription services. We only wanted our prescriptions to be handled thoroughly and in a timely manner. I feel as though there is a lack of communication within the pharmacy and the reps are not notating the system properly. We should not have to constantly repeat the previous information if the system was notated properly. In closing, just to inform you how frustrating this service has been to me and my family, this same elderly family member was given the wrong medication by your pharmacy in which she noticed in time before taking. What does it take to receive professional and caring customer care from a business that the individuals working there would like to receive for themselves or their family members? Taking care of a sick, elderly family member is stressful enough. Customers do not need the added stress on top of the situation.
