    Hello everyone!

    I am the head of customer service of cure self. Today we received a message (please see below, at the bottom) from some company ( informing us about this post and negative feedback. They also offered us an opportunity to repair our reputation and hide this feedback from search engine for a fee, so people do not see.

    While thankful for highlighting the issue, we think it is unethical to offer this kind of service and ofcourse for any company to use it.

    We would like to answer the complaint officially and everyone can judge if it was valid and how it can be resolved. Mistakes do happen, and people are allowed to express their opinion. Unfortunately it is hard to tell what exactly happened here as there are no details about the person who posted the comment.

    Still we would like to commet on the statement made in the post:

    1. "Please be aware that the vitamin and supplement website called has stopped delivery. Do not place online orders for their products on cureself."

    NOT TRUE, we are operating as usual and do our best to deliver products as soon as possible. As we express clearly on our site, delivery times may vary depending on location, stock availability, and other factors. Most orders are shipped using the standard or Xpress services of regular mail (USPS and CanadaPost). Due to variable postal service to some locations, and possible customs delays at border crossings, we make no guarantees with regards to shipping times.

    What we can guarantee is that we ship your products, our packages are insured and even if occasionally damaged or lo st, our customers get either products or full refund for the order.

    Sometimes an order can be delayed because the product is out of stock and we are expecting new stock from supplier.

    2. "You will not receive the products and you will lose your money."

    In the modern world of online shopping you are protected by the credit card regulations.
    The consumer has the right to dispute any charge via the credit card company or PayPal.

    So if you did not receive an order from an online store, or the service you were provided is not acceptable, you can just make a call and the money are returned to you - it is that simple.

    After that it is responsibility of a merchant to provide the evidence that the service or product was delivered. We always keep a tracking number for packages and we can tell where it is and if it was delivered.

    Once again, YOU CANNOT LOOSE MONEY when you shop online. If something went wrong - just call your credit card and dispute a charge.

    3. "They do not have a customer service phone number on their website and they do not reply to emails."

    Yes, we do not have a customer service phone number on our site. We do not service our customers over the phone.
    If you want to track your orders, keep old records, please register on the site and login before placing an order.
    You will have information.

    "they do not reply to emails"
    ... we try to answer email within 1-2 days... sometimes it may take longer.

    Again, every consumer buying product or services online is PROTECTED. You can not loose money. If someone took your money and did not deliver the product or service,
    please call you credit card company.

    I placed an order on 6/15/2009. On other hand, I read the above message on complaint board. I think I might be experenced the same problem. I send e-mails to customer service twice. The customer service reply for my package on the way to Calfornia. I received the package today (7-8-2009) and would like to share with you-Cureself is still shipping to customers.

    My recommand to Cureself : 1. Improve customer service : contact by Telephone No.
    2. Butter packing material

    Oh really?

    Well I placed an order in July, well after this response, and you have not shipped anything, and have not replied to my emails trying to follow up. It's been weeks --- months even, and nothing.

    I'm sorry, but your service is horrible. Why are you taking people's credit cards if you are not doing business?

    I have already tried to follow up with you twice through your site contact options and no one replies, so I've had little choice but to say that your company is phoney.

    J'ai exactement le même type de problème actuellement... Je n'ai aucune information sur ma commande et surtout, je n'ai aucune réponse à mes courriels... et pourtant un montant de 139$ m'a bien été facturé sur ma carte de crédit... J'ai été négligent, mais je n'avais pas remarqué qu'il n'y a aucune autre [censored]edil;on de les rejoindre que par courriel... C'est absolument inacceptable... Si j'avais su cela, jamais je n'aurais commandé... Il n'y a presque aucune information sur la compagnie sur leur site... c'est renversant...

    I have exactly the same problem now ... I have no information about my order and especially, I have no answer to my emails ... and yet the amount of $ 139 although I was billed on my credit card ... I have been negligent, but I did not notice that there is no other way to reach them by email ... It is absolutely unacceptable ... If I had known this I would never have ordered ... There is almost no information about the company on their site ... is staggering ...

    They are a ripoff company. Do NOT order anything from them...they won't respond to your email and you won't see your order delivered. I will report them to the Better Business Bureau.

    This company is so unprofessional. You should end up actually getting your package, but it takes well over a month. They do not email you when the order is shipped, nor do they notify you if items are back-ordered. I used them 2 times, thinking that maybe the second time would be better, but NO. Both times I emailed them several times asking about my order, and when they finally reply they say it's shipped, then it takes another few weeks before receiving the order. Also both orders were incomplete, items missing, with a note saying item not available. An email would have been nice when I placed the order because obviously I ordered it because I needed it.

    The same has happened with me. I successfully placed few orders in the past, but never received my the most recent order from January, 2010. The story is the same – their phones do not work and they do not respond to e-mails.

    Never, ever buy from Cure Self.

    Dear Valentyna,

    We just noticed that you put a complaint on the complaint board
    We only have one customer named Valentyna, so we guessed it might be you.

    Could you please post an update that you actually recieved your order. We think that to be fair the update is to be posted.

    Also what was wrong? you placed an order on 5th of January, you received it on 21st of January. We clearly state - 1-2 weeks and also it was a holiday season.

    This is Valentyna again. I placed a complaint before that I did not receive the order from Cureself. This is my second comment. I, finally, received the order. I worried because I place another order with another company and received it in few days. Both companies are located in Canada, so, theoretically, it should take compatible time to deliver from them. I was worried and tried to contact Cureself but without success. It was the most frustrating part of the whole experience – if I could speak with the customer service on the phone I would feel much better.

    I think it gives an answer to your question.

    I can certainly agree with the previous complaints and concerns. I wish I had discovered this board before I placed my first ever order on January 17. I have emailed the company twice now and have received no response. Not having a contact phone number for customer service is frustrating behond belief. Also why is it that there seems to be no issue addressing complaints on this website but the company can't be bothered to answer emails from cutsomers on its own website? Not impressed.

    I submitted an online order to Cureself on February 12, 2010. It's March 11 today - no package and no communication whatsoever from Cureself despite two emails. They certainly had the staff available to charge my credit card $135.77 within a day of my order. This is the worst online company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

    A followup to my earlier complaint...

    Within 5 hours of posting that complaint, I miraculously got an email that my product had shipped. What a MASSIVE COINCIDENCE. Clearly they monitor this site - if you're getting the shaft, try posting here and see what happens.

    They claimed my order was shipped March 11. Today (March 26) my package finally arrived, with a postmark of March 22.

    The order was correct but one of my $30 containers was broken open. Somehow I think I will just eat the cost of this instead of dealing with Cureself again.

    Again - AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

    Well, let's see.

    Placed order July 24, 2009.

    When it did not arrive, I followed up by email on August 7 as their tracking system was not working and the instructions were written in unclear English and I was not sure how to proceed.

    Dima replied to my follow up on August 10 saying the order would be "delivered this week" S/he provided no tracking info.

    I didn't get it. I followed up in August, September, October. No repsonses to date (It's April 2010).

    I gave up long ago.

    They do keep sending me promo emails.

    My order number was: 550891079

    So, Cureself, what's up? Why did you not send my order? Why did you not give me any tracking info? Why did you not reply to my follow up inquiries?

    Why are there SO many complaints about this store?

    Well, the questions are moot, aren't they? You may be putting out fires and taking care of people when they complain (didn't work for me though), but that's not really enough. If there is something wrong with your order system, get it fixed.

    EVERYONE: This store is awesome and Canadian: Free shipping and you get your stuff in a week or a week and a half if you use regular shipping. Their selection is pretty good.

    I also had an order with cureself, and promptly received confirmation that the funds were drafted from my checking account. I made an order the same day with a company based out of Germany. I Live in Alaska USA and the order from Germany was received several days ago and I have yet to even get an e-mail stating the product has shipped out. I would like to give the company a fair chance, but as of yet I have not had a good experience at all. Communication from the company would be great, but it appears the company refuses to do this.

    I too have been waiting for a month for an order. I have contacted cureself's customer service many times via email with little to no replies. When they did reply, the questions that I had asked were left unanswered. I am still waiting to see if the order will arrive or not because I know sometimes things get delayed at the border. I am disappointed that I didn't do more research into this company before giving them my money.

    This is far and away the worst online company I have ever dealt with. They have non existent Customer Service. Charged my credit card and have yet to deliver. They have left me no choice but to call my credit card company, and I am fortunate that I have many Merchant Services contacts, and have notified them of the issues that my self and many others have had dealing with these fraudsters. They are crooks. Please do a search on Google for "cureself scam" or cureself complaints" or "Cureself fraud" The results will speak volumes for the dishonesty of Cureself.

    60 days after placing my order and not receiving it, I contacted customer service and asked for a refund which they granted in full about 3 days later. Until this date, the order has not arrived (it was placed in February).

    I recently placed an order with Cureself. com and paid through PayPal (after reading one complaint).
    Then I found this board
    I'll let you know what happens.
