I deleted my original review I posted 9 days ago as despite endless frustration I tried to give them a chance to put things right. After I made an official complain to them for lying to me about offering free seat selection ahead of the normal window to chose your seat for free and asking them to supply recording of conversation I had with their agent Henry, I never heard back until I put a bad review on Trusted pilot. I was made more empty promise by Vikram their team leader which has now led me to put back this bad review. Do not believe Crystal Travel if they offer you perks to book with them as they will not honour them! I have now placed an official complain with ABTA and trading standard.

I thought I'd found an amazing deal on flights to Sydney, booked it online only to have an email saying declined. Hmm... alarm bells. I had read reviews and trust pilot etc mainly good.

Call customer service, oh let me contact the airline... oh we are sorry that price has now gone but we can offer you another for £200 more, tbey said all the seats are pretty much gone. Me thinking well if id paid £23 per seat the whole plane was avaliable. No thanks! Just a scam. AVOID.

I had a really bad experience with Crystal Travel, let me tell you. I was looking for a good deal on a family ticket on www.cheapflights.com and they recommended Crystal Travel as the best option. I paid for the ticket 40 days in advance and thought everything was sorted.

But when I got to the airport on the day of travel, the airline refused to accept the ticket that Crystal Travel had issued me. Can you believe it? I was so frustrated and confused. I called up their customer service (a lady named Angelina) and she had the nerve to ask me for more money or to just take a refund. Like, seriously?

This all happened on September 15th, 2015. I had a confirmed ticket from Atlanta to New York, with the booking reference Y74SN4, airline reference AJD447, and e-ticket number ***/ ***. My wife and I were so excited for this trip, but Crystal Travel completely ruined it for us.

I really think that Crystal Travel and cheapflights.com should be de-listed so that other travelers don't have to go through the same nightmare that I did. I am now going through ATOL to get this company looked into. I have also decided to leave reviews on every review site I can find, as I believe that customers need to know what they are dealing with. I would advise anyone to avoid this scam company and go elsewhere. It is not worth the hassle and frustration.

I recently booked a trip from Kuala Lumpur to NYC via Doha with Crystal Travel on June 5th. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the airport, I was shocked to find out that my first flight had been cancelled without any prior notice. However, I was able to resolve the issue with the help of Qatar Airways, who booked me on a new set of flights operated by other airlines that departed later that day.

To my surprise, Qatar Airways informed me that my initial flights had been cancelled for quite some time, and that Crystal Travel had been notified about it. They were supposed to forward me the information, but they failed to do so. Apparently, Crystal Travel had not entered my email address in the form they provided to the airline, which made it impossible for them to contact me directly.

Overall, I found the service provided by Crystal Travel to be unprofessional and unreliable. This was my first time booking with them, and it will definitely be my last. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free travel experience.

I was a bit unsure about booking a trip to Disneyland Paris at first, but then I talked to this guy named Mathew from Crystal Travel and he was super helpful. Crystal Travel is a company that we have had multiple bad experiences with. They are really terrible, and we don't know what exactly is going on there, but we know it is definitely some kind of scam. This is what we can figure out when we read the other issues that people have had with them. My wife bought a ticket and suddenly she got a call. We realized that this is the scam right there. The tickets are there and on sale, but what they try and do is see if they can squeeze more money out of you for the same ticket. They will tell you that the ticket is gone and they have one slightly higher, that would be perfect for you. What we suspect they do is buy the ticket themselves at whatever price, then they try and see if they can get you to pay more for that ticket by telling you the particular ones you bought have gone or are going up.

My wife went through hell and had to buy another ticket before this company actually refunded her money when we refused to pay more than the actual asking price of the ticket. Sometimes I google blind because I need to get a flight urgently. But as soon as I am about to book and a call comes through before I finish, I know it is Crystal Travel about to pull a fast one on me. They are straight up crooks. I would advise nobody to buy from these people so that hopefully this company goes out of business. This is what needs to happen so you can clean all the trash out of the market.

There are other honest agencies who confirm your flight as soon as you buy your ticket. It's really a shame that companies like Crystal Travel exist, and it's important to spread the word so that others don't fall victim to their scams. I'm a person who likes to save money, so I was on the lookout for a cheap flight ticket. On 07/19/2022, I booked a flight for me and my girlfriend from the USA to Vietnam at 5:30 pm. The ticket cost $1808, which was $904 per person, and the airline was Asiana Airlines.

After booking, I received a call from a guy named Leo Miller from "Crystal Travel." He told me that I couldn't afford the price I paid because it was too cheap and gave me a bunch of ridiculous reasons. Then he quoted me a much higher price than the original airline and asked me to confirm.

At first, he quoted me around $2600, then around $2300, and finally around $2000 more. I refused all of them and asked him why he charged me more. He made up a story that the higher price was for selected seats, and my $1808 did not include checked bags. However, when I checked my confirmation number on Asiana Airlines, I found out that I got free 2x23kg/person checked bags and a free carry-on. I told him that I didn't want to pay extra to sit together and that I would get my tickets and seats on the day of departure at the airline counter.

I asked him why I got charged more, and he couldn't give me a good reason. If he didn't agree with my price, why did he put it on sale? It didn't make sense to me.

Although they offered me a full refund, I was extremely disappointed with their service. This was my first and last time using this service. It seemed like they were trying to scam people.

My experience with Crystal Travel was not a pleasant one. My wife had booked a flight with them through Momondo because they had the best price for the dates and flights we wanted. She entered all the necessary information and checked out, but we soon found out that they had charged our American Express card right away and sent her an email saying "Booking Under Process". The email also had a number to call for changes to the itinerary, but when she called it, it said that the number was currently unavailable.

When I got home from work, my wife was crying and told me that they had taken our money but didn't give us the ticket. I was frustrated and checked their Terms & Conditions, which stated that all offers, prices, and sale conditions are subject to change without notice. This seemed ridiculous to me.

I called the number posted in the terms and conditions, and the person who answered said that the payment was declined. However, when I called American Express, they told me that this was impossible. I called Crystal Travel again, and they told me that the flight was no longer available. However, when I checked Momondo, they were still offering the same flight for the same price. I called Crystal Travel again, and they tried to offer me a more expensive flight. I told them to cancel everything and send me an email confirming the cancellation.

After that, I called them more than 20 times to get my confirmation for the canceled booking. They either tried to transfer me to an unavailable extension or just hung up. It took me 25-30 phone calls and 2 hours wasted to finally get my confirmation. In the end, I booked with another website for just $5 more than the price offered by Crystal Travel, and it only took me 10 minutes.

Overall, my experience with Crystal Travel was frustrating and time-consuming. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free booking experience.

This company is a complete scam and I would advise anyone to avoid them at all costs. I booked a flight through Crystal Travel in July, but unfortunately the airline changed the flight we had booked. Crystal Travel informed us of the change, but it didn't work for our plans so we asked them to cancel the booking. However, they went ahead and confirmed the booking against our explicit request. We then asked for the entire booking to be cancelled and a refund issued, but they refused to issue a refund until we removed a bad review we had written about them on Google!

After we removed the review, they told us we would need to wait up to 2 billing cycles in order to process a refund. We called them many times for an update, but they always gave us the runaround and never got back to us with any updates. They kept telling us they would submit our request to the refund department and get back to us within 24 hours, but we never heard anything from them.

After waiting for two months, we called them again and they gave us the same story. It was clear to us that they had no intention of ever issuing a refund and were just hoping we would stop contacting them. In the end, we had to dispute the charge with our bank and they issued us a refund within 2 days.

If you have any issues with this scam company, I would advise you to dispute the charge with your bank. It's the only way to get your money back quickly. Don't waste your time trying to deal with Crystal Travel, they are not interested in helping you and will just give you the runaround.

But, 24 hours passed, and I didn't receive any emails regarding my trip. I spoke with a representative, and she told me that a reservation representative had tried calling me the night before multiple times. I was surprised because I didn't receive any voicemails, messages, emails, etc. I told her that if it was important, they should have left a message. She then told me that she would have them call me back within a few hours.

I called again and spoke with a different representative, and she told me that the reservation rep would call me back in a few minutes. I hung up and waited for the call. Luckily, the rep did call me back, but he explained that they weren't able to book my flights, and he could help me find a similar itinerary. I agreed, and he put me on hold for a few minutes. When he came back, he told me that the flight price had increased by $1200. I was shocked and told them that I was not paying the increased fare prices when this was their mistake, and I had successfully booked two days prior. He told me that he would talk to the payment department and call me back within 5-10 minutes.

I waited and waited, but he never called back within an hour time frame. I ended up calling them back and was told that he would call me within 15-20 minutes. Another hour passed, and still, I didn't receive any call from them. Now, I don't have any flights booked, and the prices have increased within the past 48 hours. This is a mistake on their end, and they didn't do much to help me resolve the issue. I would suggest booking elsewhere to avoid any inconvenience.

I booked my tickets with Aron Smith, who seemed friendly and nice to talk to at first. I booked a ticket to India with a multi-stop to Sri Lanka on Sri Lankan airlines for travel between 26th May and 16th of June with a stopover in Sri Lanka. I paid extra for flexible tickets, so in total, it cost me ?3000.

However, on May 18th, the UK government put a ban on travel to Sri Lanka due to the political situation there. This is when the real face of Crystal Travel appeared. Sri Lankan airlines told me that I was entitled to a full refund due to the government notice. I even had a friend who worked for the airline who confirmed this. When I contacted Aron Smith, he informed me that cancellation fees would apply, and that I would lose all my money. However, the airline told me that the agent was able to apply for a full refund due to the political situation.

Aron Smith made it look like he was doing me a favour and trying to get a better deal for me just for the India trip. On the day of discussing the cost, the ticket only cost ?[protected] return on their own website. Instead of refunding me ?3000 for the multi-trip ticket I paid for and recharging me ?1700 for a new ticket to India, they refunded me ?400 out of my ?3000. They made a hefty profit of ?900 out of my tickets. These guys are frauds. They seem so nice on the phone, but in reality, they try to steal every penny from their customers.

I booked 8 tickets with Crystal Travel, but I have learned my lesson and will never use them again. Aron Smith is a cheat and a scammer. I have added screenshots for your information.

They claim to offer free date changes, but don't be fooled - they will still charge you a minimum fare of ?118, even if you choose the cheapest date available. And if you're hoping for a refund, forget about it - this agency doesn't offer any refunds to customers, even if the airline itself would offer a full refund for the same situation. It's clear that they're only interested in making money and cheating their customers.

What's even worse is that they have no flexibility, loyalty, ethics, or values. They don't care about customer service at all, despite their nice words and pleasing talk during the booking process. Once they have your money, they're done with you. Their managers, like Muneer, are particularly bad - they'll just refer you to the terms and conditions and refuse to help you in any way.

My advice is to stay far away from this agency. Don't get trapped into using them, or you'll regret it. Instead, find someone else to book your travel with, or book directly with the airline. Don't risk losing everything by using Crystal Travel. Be careful!

I gotta say, I messed up big time when I booked a flight with Crystal Travel. My phone is so old it's practically a dinosaur, and I was in a hurry, so I didn't really do my research. They tried to make themselves look like Jet Blue, but let me tell you, they're nothing like them. They told me I could cancel my reservation within 24 hours, but then my plans changed suddenly because of a family emergency. I decided to file a formal complaint with Jet Blue, and that's when I found out something really shady. The flight wasn't even booked with my credit card, it was booked with the agency's card. So basically, I gave them an unsecured loan, and they're just scalping people left and right. It's like they're playing three-card-monte and calling it work. I'm telling you, don't waste your money on these guys. Get a new phone and book with Expedia instead. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

I had booked flight tickets on February 13th and the amount was transacted on February 15th from my bank account. When I called up to check for the change of travel dates, it came to my notice that the booking has not been confirmed. The crystal company (Donovan) stated that the transaction has been declined. but my bank statements show that the amount has been transferred and I called up my bank and also checked with them and the amount has been transferred from my account. I have been sending repeated emails and made so many phone calls but have not heard from them.

Great price & the assistant was polite, but keen to sell baggage allowance when the airline don't charge for the first hold bag or hand luggage, in the effort to make extra money he even tried to plant the doubt that I would have to pay double or treble at the airport for my bags, this tactic almost made me go elsewhere for my ticket even if it cost more, because it isnt just about price its about trust ! also had to email 3 times to get my E tickets, Could do better Crystal travel .!

I am e mailing to ask who I need to complain to/alert about the false advertising and resultant mis-selling of a flight I purchased in August for Jan 2016.
I have today received an e mail from the airline (TAM) informing me that what my travel agent (Crystal travel) had sold me (I have e ticket evidence of this) was false. I was sold what I thought to be a good deal with a well-priced ticket for what seemed to be a nice and straight-forward flight with an approx. 2 hour wait time for a connection flight once I arrived in Sao Paulo (involving no travel to a completely different airport). This was specifically why I had purchased this ticket.
A few weeks after purchase I was informed by the travel agents that "there is a change with your flight by the airline side" which is not the case. Rather, I was mis-sold an incorrect flight (that did not exist) in the first place.

On receiving the e mail informing me of the change the only thing they claimed to have changed was the flight being a few hours later - still from the same airport. They continued to claim this up until I had contacted TAM airlines directly (through having complete lack of trust in what they were telling me) and I informed them that the information they were providing me with was wrong and that I knew I had to travel to a different airport once I arrived in Sao Paulo. They have finally and recently admitted that I need to change airports.
Since then, the airline has interestingly sent me an e mail informing me that my original flights were not arriving into Sao Paulo Guaralhos airport and leaving from it but that these original ones had included the need for me to change to the other Sao Paulo airport (an hour away) - NOT what I was sold by this agency.

I have since read a lot of negative reviews about Crystal agency and feel really strongly about them being reprimanded for this mis-selling of a product and want to know what I can do to ensure this happens. I am not after a refund and actually need this flight to Brazil in order to visit my fiances family. I wish I had the funds and time flexibility with work to try and cancel the flights with this company and get other flights through someone else. I have already contacted the airline in order to inform them that a company selling their product is doing so in the above manner, claiming any changes to the itinery is due to their airline rather than the agency mis-selling the product in the first place.

I was sold a ticket by an agent called sean. He didnt tell me the terms before selling. and emailed some terms to me with my e ticket after i paid. He knew i didnt have a visa for my trip and would have to postpone if the visa took long. when i called to ask for price i made it clear i wasnt sure of a date. and that i may have to change the date of the ticket depending on when i got the visa. When he sold me the ticket he didnt tell this would cost me a £100 (not in terms) if i needed tochange the date.i had to postpone the chosen date several times, when the visa was difficult i tried to cancell. he said it would cost me £100. and encouraged me to postpone again. when i decided i would wait for the visa and cancell, and i agreed to pay the fine, he said i changed the date three times so its £300. He then encouraged me to pay the full fare for the ticket to be booked as it lasts a year. So i had the peace of mind that it was valid for a year. When i had to postpone again he asked me for £350. I said why didnt he advise me? he said i didnt ask. (not in terms as well) So i paid. When i had to postpone again, he told me it costs £350 everytime i postponed (not in terms) I called to cancell the ticket because it was a bad mistake to start with, no visa, he said ill loose all of the money i paid £1200. And hung up the phone.

NEVER EVER EVER USE CRYSTAL TRAVEL THEY ARE A GOD AWFUL COMPANY THEIR PRICES ON LINE ARE ALMOST ALWAYS INACCURATE, WHICH I THINK THEY DO DELIBRATLY TO LURE CUSTOMERS IN, YOU RING UP AND SPEAK TO A ROBOT IN INDIA! AND GOD FORBID SOMETHING SHOULD GO WRONG LIKE IT DID WITH ME AND MY MRS. ON OUR HONEYMOON OF ALL TIMES..YOU WILL SPEND HOURS ON THE PHONE..SPEAKING TO ROBOTS AND EVEN THE MANAGERS ARE JUST AS BAD.. I SPOKE TO ONE CALLED ROHIT WHO WOULD REFUSE TO GIVE ME HIS SURNAME AND THEN TURNED AROUND AND SAID HE DID NOT EVEN HAVE A SURNAME? FORGET CUSTOMER EMPATHY THIS SO CALLED ROBOT MANAGER TOLD ME IT WAS ALL MY FAULT!?! YEAH LIKE I ENJOY LOSING £420.00 AND ABOUT £20.00 ON PHONE CALLS. THE COMPLAINT WAS THEN ESCALTED TO THER (NON) CUSTOMER RELATIONS DEPARTMENT SPOKE TO A MEMBER OF STAFF WHOM SPOKE VERY LITTLE ENGLISH. AKSED IF SHE WAS INDIAN SHE SAID SHE WAS POLISH? IN A NUT SHELL JUST TOLD ME THAT THEIR WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO..AS I SAID NON CUSTOMERS RELATIONS! I STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS COWBOY COMPANY! AS I WOULD NOT WANT ANYONE TO GO THROUGH WHAT I DID.. AND IF YOU CHOOSE TO IGNORE MY ADVISE.. THEN YOU BETTER PRAY TO GOD OR YOUR LUCKY STARS OR WHOM EVER YOU PRAY TOO THAT NOTHING GOES WRONG..BECAUSE IF IT DOES ALL I CAN SAY IS I TOLD YOU SO, I TOLD SO! TAKE MY ADVISE OR LEARN THE HARD WAY UP2U!

This company works unprofessionally with their clients. They don't know how to properly book the clients plane trips with the international flight times. If there incorrect with the flight time the company won't reimburse for your expense. It will also charge the guest the amount of money for not being able to make the flight to the destination on time. We were scammed with our automobile contract also. Literally on our honeymoon we were forced to stay overnight at an airport, because their professional clients couldn't book us a correct time from Galapagoes Islands/Ecuador/Costa Rica. We also had our personal merchandise stolen from us, which the company would reimburse us in any shape, or form. In proper detail the flight from to Costa Rica I had to spend an additional 1400.00 on airfare, and Crystal Lake Travel Agency wanted to overcharge us on everything. It was a total rip off business. I strongly recommend not setting up travel plans with this company! If was the worst thing I have ever done, and I will never forget this honeymoon!
