Croft&Barrows / Shoe soles
My husband purchased a pair of black leather dress shoes that he wore a short period of time. During the course of normal wear at his job, the soles of both shoes cracked all the way across under the ball of his foot. The cracks are deep enough to be felt from the inside of the shoe and his feet would get wet when walking on wet sidewalk. We tried gluing one crack, because the shoes still look new and otherwise have a lot of wear left in them. Gluing did not work. My husband has purchased Croft&Barrows shoes many times and never had this problem. Is it possible to be compensated for the cost of having the shoes resoled, or could we be given a good discount on a new pair?
