I had my phone service disconnected when I ported my number to another service provider and then talked to customer service at Cricket to make sure that I would not be debited anymore on my automatic payment plan. They assured me I would not. I find out they are still debiting me. I call customer service and I report the problem they tell me that it is a pro-rated charge for the previous month. B.S.! We pay up front for our service or we don't get service the next month. I get the run around from everyone at Cricket. Quite simply, they suck! I will fight this to the end!

This is absolutely the worst company in the world! There are 1-2 hour over the phone waits! Absolutely no department to file complaints with. When you finally get a representative they give you another 800 number to call for your specific complaint, another 1-2 hour wait. The phones are trash and fall apart within days. Try to return them and the stores won't let you change them out EVEN if you are still under warranty. I got 6 phone lines w/this company and 3 of the phones literally fell apart. There is zero attempt on their end to rectify this. I turned my phones off! CRICKET SUCKS!@

Dear Sir of Madam,

My fiance lives in NYC and when he came to visit me in Randallstown MD he bought a cricket broadband from a cricket store where I live. Before he ordered it he asked the representative if there was service in NYC and he told him that it was. Well when he got to NYC he could not use it. Then I checked on the internet to see if it was in NYC and it is not. The representative t9ld him that he did the research and he said it was in NYC and so my fiance is now in a contract and lost 100.00 dollars and he is not able to use his broadband. H9w can I get his money back it has not been three days yet.

Thank-you
Denise Holmes (fiance)

It's bad enough that this service is the slowest on the net but for it to log out 12 times in a few hours is absurd. I am tired of calling customer service, being placed on hold forever then getting a person whom I can not understand even a little bit. My all time favorite was the tech with the heavy indian accent who tried to get me to go into DOS to "fix" it. If you have other options for a provider, do yourself a favor & do not use this company!

I have been dealing with Cricket Wireless on and off for over 7 years. each time that there becomes an off period is because of a dispute of one kind or another. Each dispute however always share at least one common issue OVER CHARGES! This latest dispute began in December of 2010 and continues still today. Prior to December I had 2 phone & 1 broadband connection; my account ( at least these 3 numbers) were on a special discount plan with 2 new ringback tones monthly($5 added charge per line per month) on both cellular lines that Cricket offered/signed me up for in July 2010 with promise rates would not increase as long as I had account. Around end of Nov. beginning of Dec. I added a new line of service... without my consent or knowledge my rate was increased and ringtones not only disallowed but all that I had already paid for were removed. New line cost me $45 to add and did NOT receive first month as advertised and told. upon calling customer service to discuss problems I was informed that Cricket was going to credit all monies paid for all ringback tones and one month service, yet denied to reinstate my rate plan. to this day I still have not received any credits. Unfortunately phone for new line was stolen mid to late Dec. so I cancelled that line (around Christmas). December 2010 was charged $135 plus $45 for 3rd cell line. January 3rd was billed and paid $145 for Jan. service

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The worst customer service ever. Nothing but a bunch of lying indians. I purchased there broadband, plugged it in and it does not work but was told that they are sorry but I can not have my money back. The person actually said if the product does not work, find someone to fix it. This company is owned by Leap Communications in San Diego and I suggest everybody call that company and complain. I am calling the company and I will not settle for being ripped off. I was also told it is the company policy not to give refunds. We will see about that!

I am very upset, how managers at Cricket store treat you as a customer. My phone being give me problems, first I was told, the phones are problems and they no longer make them. I had to pay 50.00 for the same phone.I really need help. They gave me a new phone, its does work. Please help me. Cricket is getting over on people. I have to pay 50.00 for a new phone and pay insurance that I already have each month. The store on west florissant is very disrespectful place, they have a police lady that walks around like she owe the place. she have three phones on are side. When you walk into the store they are playing rap music and the young ladies are looking like they on the street corner and the boys look like they ready to fight.

Ok about a month ago I bought this cellphone via internet on the cricket wireless website so I buy it and everything and I pay like 18 dollars for next day delivery but I didn't get it until like 4 days later but that not the problem. Every time something is paid for it it doesn't' matter what it is, it shows the amount of paid to this company but the amount that i paid for this cellphone did not show up and about a week later my bill went all the way up to like 216 or something like that because the payment that i made for the cellphone did not register within there system or whatever, so I call up the company several times due to the fact that the personnel that work for them are not quite audible and so i had to hang up on them to retry it was always like "WHAT I CANT UNDERSTAND YOU!" It was frustrating, so i finally get a hold of someone and I ask them why is this being charged on my account, the lady was like "oh this is simply being processed but it should clear in about seven days or so and i remained quite unconvinced also to the fact that she didn't really seem to be serious about her job like they were feeding her a response to say to me. So about a week later that charge is still on there an I call them up again and i ask them what is going on but again the usual hanging up thing and the horrible service. So when I get someone serious they are all like "Oh Don't worry about it just make sure you pay what you owe for the service and this all goes away at the end of the month when you pay off what's due on your bill(at this point my bill looks ridiculous for a cellphone company with no contracts about $330 it said ), clearly she didn't understand my case so I asked her "So all I have to is pay 115 dollars for the service and the rest i dont have to pay for" and she said "well yes and as well as the other 216 other wise your bill is gunna look the way it looks." So i had to explain to her ALL OVER AGAIN and she was like "in that case you really dont have to worry about just leave it alone" and im like "are you SERIOUS!" at this point i was just frustrated so i was like whatever hoping she would be right. It almost seemed she just wanted to end the call with agreeing by me. So then I pay my bill and hope the problems would just disappear, boy was i wrong, they didn't so I call them again this time i get a capable timid talking guy and he actually gives a Fax number i Can send my receipts to i was like cool, finally a solution. So i send out my bank statement stating the payment has been made and the receipt that i printed out that day. So im like now i just have to wait about a week. Guess WHAT! NO! no changes of any sort if anything was changed it was the cents. So I call again cursing the cellphone that i was using which was the one i bought off the internet, so anyway i get another guy this time the guy says something like "i gotta go do a research on this payment i just need the card number you purchased it with and well all the info on it, and then he says ill be right back ima put you on hold for a minute ok" and he did, after a minute or two of hold the line was hung up i was like hmmm...i just gave out my info and he hung up.urghh
So I call again and i get another dude this time he is like i need your card info but he doesnt put me on hold he just decide to tell me "well it shows here that you didnt make any payment of the sort you are talking about." and i was like" i know thats why im calling to verfy the info u guys need to erase that due" he was like "well can you please fax everything that we need to help us help u" and i was like "already did" and he was like "well if you have done that already then theres is no further to investigate it has been decided that you did not make a payment" and i was like"OK BUT I GOT RECEIPTS AND MY BANK ACCOUNT INFO WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED" and he was like did you even request (like sort of type of investigation i forgot what he called it)
and i was like"I FAXED THE PAPERS ALREADY DOES IT RING A BELL, YES! " so he was like" let me check on that" moments later then he said "well IT shows here you havent requested it but well start one right now, you have 14 days fax your papers until then you will keep your service"
so i was like "so just end in the fax and thats it" and he was like yes everything that will help your case"
i was like "ok 14days"
something tells me this isnt the end
when the hell does a company does not keep track of what their customers buy its ridiculous, i shouldnt even have to go through this.
I had signed up with certain fraudulent companies before even they gave me receipts and they kept track of all of my "Purchases" or what not but man seriously and then supposedly i have the 50 dollar plan but after all those taxes somehow it gets all the way up to like 70 dollars dont tell me taxes are 20 dollars

Purchased a Cricket broadband wireless modem. Have current AVG protection on my computer and have Windows XP. with the latest Firefox as a browser. The internet disconnects for no apparent reason and takes a long time to restart. I use to re-start the computer and this would help. Now when it boots you off for no reason I can get back on for hrs. No I have to run the installation DISC and follow the set up process again. Have they sold more modems than they can handle?

Dear Sir
i took my cricket line with lot of hopes, and i am having very hard time,

1) i was using very good sprint line, and Agent Jeffrey Vales told me that he can give 35$ + 15$ + 29$ (local charge, international charge, and instrument fee), i paid $79 totally for the service
2) But after paying $79, due to technical problem, it took 2 days for the new cricket line to be active. And the Agent MR. Jeffrey Vales promised that due to this difficulty he will do some discount in the next bill cylce.
3)) the quality of the instrument was very poor, and it disconnects it self
4) i waited one month and meet the agent in oakpark and asked for Mr. Jeff and reminded his commitment to the other agent, Mr. Jeff was not avalibale in the office 10th dec, 13, dec,
5) As Mr. Jeff made a committment to me help, other agents adviced me to wait Mr. Jeff.
6) Finally i met my Jeffery on 14 dec, and he totally ignored his professionalism, and committment and just told that u r account is expired, and he cant do any thing. he promised me $50 (35+15, internallonly) made fake promises and commitments and totally ignored . Thus caused my account expired, and he cant help any way,
7) I beleive in professionalism and business ethics which was absolutly lagging here, and finally i decided to close the cricket line.
8) i lost $71 with cricket, it is not the loss, it lost the trust .

thanks to Jeff, and cricket..

In July 2010, I purchased a phone and 1 months service from Cricket. The phone never arrived. I am disabled so having a functional phone is an imperative. I am a lawyer. When I called to rescind the contract, citing Cricket's non performance, I was told my refund would need one month to process. Despite clearly telling them the service was terminated, they debited my bank account. The phone lines to obtain a refund were always busy so I called at various times to no avail. Letters were written to Cricket, Leap Wireless, its corporate parent, and the PA Attorney
General. I was told to show up at a full service Cricket kiosk, a full two hours from my home. Strangely, they could take my order over the phone but not cancel it. Letters were never acknowledged. They want unredacted bank records which they will never see. It is not a mom and pop operation. They have accountants. This is the worse company I have ever encountered in terms of refund. I am not young.

Presently, I wrote a formal legal letter to the parent co CEO giving them one week. If there is still no response, I will commence law suit. I am preparing the complaint now. When a letter was finally sent ot me, it was extremely juvenile. They are extremely lawless for a publicly traded company. BEWARE. The incident that started this mess is not unsual. Their customer service is the unusual part, even by today's lax standards. MANY HOURS OF MY LIFE HAVE BEEN WASTED ON CRICKET. THERE ARE ALTERANTIVES. DO NOT BUY FROM CRICKET.

I purchased a cricket device on 8/11/10 at about 11:50am due to not being able to receive t6he internet on the home computer.(it was an air card for unlimited internet access.) After trying to get this device to work for 1 day and making several phone calls to cricket to ask for help I was unsuccessful the device was not going to work so about 27 hours after purchasing the product I returned it. the plan was 40.00 a month which cricket decided to keep.I did not even get a chance to use it, it was not working, but they still would not return the monthly amount. I feel this is very unfair the product was not compatiblefor what I needed andI returned it almost 24 hours later. Please help me make thisright by me and get cricket to return my 40.00 dollars my contact in formation is phone number [protected] address p.o. box 1051 monroeville n.j. 08343 thank you.

Hi, all,

Having had one-and-a-half mind-numbing hours on the phone with a series of gentlemen almost certainly located in Bangalore, I feel it a civic duty to warn all of you (and please pass it on) not to have anything to do with CricKet, Inc.  Their commercials make them seem like a cheaper alternative to other broadband carriers, but please believe me, it ain't worth it.

To put it as briefly as possibly, back at the beginning of my contact with them, the first thing they did was to lie to me in telling me I was in their covered area, someting they definitely knew was not true. After accruing two weeks of empirical evidence to that effect, I decided to take action.  After several hours on the phone with a series of nice men with moderate to strong South Asian accents, I finally got someone to agree that since I was out of Cricket's service area, I could, at my own expense, return all materials to them for a refund, and my account would be closed (although one would think this was automatic, I can't emphasize this fact enough, i.e., that by mutual spoken agreement, my account was closed).  I was refunded the price of the hardware only -- all postage was out of my pocket, which I could live with.  It took several weeks, but the refund showed up in my account.

Several weeks after *that*, 3 days ago to be exact, I got a "regular monthly charge" of $43.18 from Cricket deducted from my checking account.  I talked with 7 people at their customer service over 90 minutes.  They denied they had charged me, they denied I had an account, they denied I had ever closed an account, they said that they would not remove the charge unles I gave them the serial number on the device I'd returneed two months before, and when I exclaimed that of course I didn't have this number since I'd closed the account and returned said object, I would be unable to comply, and that *surely* they had some other way of accessing my closed account, they denied anyone with my name, address or phone number had ever had an account with them.  I congratulated them on having the worst, most incompetent customer service in the history of the universe, and slammed down the phone.

After taking some migraine medicine, I got on the phone with my bank, and they said that given my documentation of my exchanges wth the Evil CricKet, they would have no trouble getting the money back, and they would credit my account immediately.

If you've been tempted to sign up with Cricket, DON'T.  As far as they are concerned, once you're in, you're in for good, even though they will insist you don't exist (quite a logical trick, no?);  and actual crickets could do a better job of customer service.   Be afraid -- be very afraid.
Best to all -- and I can't wait to read the accounts of Pazfest!

Bought a Cricket mobile broadband device to use while on vacation in August based on a customer service rep at Cricket saying the device in question would work on my wife's MacBook Pro. Got the device a few days before we left, installed the software, tried to get online for an hour and finally called Cricket only to be told that the wireless device they sold us was not compatible with our operating system. So, set up a return and asked them to cancel the service and was told we would be credited for the hardware when I returned it and that the service would be credited immediately and no further billing would occur. Returned the broadband device in early September.

Was looking at my most recent credit card statement and we still have not been credited for the hardware return AND they have charged us for two additional months of service ($100/mo) which is crazy because we canceled the service and what we originally signed up for was the $50/mo plan with no contract, cancel anytime, etc. We should not have been billed anything!

So, I just called Cricket and asked them what the hell was going on, where is my refund for the hardware and why am I still being charged? The customer service rep, who was clearly in India and barely understandable, and whose name was (this is no lie) Chelsea told me they have no record of me canceling the service and have not received the hardware. She said she will escalate my case and a senior customer service rep will call me back in 24 - 48 hours to tell me when I will be refunded, etc.

What kind of operation are these people running? I am so tired of being put through the ringer as a consumer.

To say this company has poor customer service is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Besides my phone not working in less than 3 months, calling customer service (which is in India) gets you no place. I received no help in the cricket store, then when I called customer service I was hung up on 3 TIMES!. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! P.S. They also go by Leap and Jump mobile. Tommorrow I'm filing a complaint with The Better Bussiness Bureau.

After speaking with Cricket about a Laptop Modem I purchased the unit. I received the unit in about 4-5 days and attempted to activate it but to no success. It was during a busy Tax season, I tried repeated times but could not get it to work. I called Tech support on several times but never could get anyone after waiting approx a hour. Finally I took a day off to get to tceh service and it took most of the day to make contact. I spent about an hour with this tech, he constantly put me on hold and eventually he did not come back. I got back in line on the hold list and eventually I got a second Tech and in about 30 minutes he stated I did not have service in my area although I was told I had coverage. I contacted CS and they refused to accept return of the unit because it was a little over the thirty Days since I made the order. After BBB they still refuse to refund my fund for a unit I have no use for.

Cricket wireless will not allow me to pay my bill with my debit card. They are saying its an issue with my bank. I have called my bank for the last three hours and have talked to the bank manager. The bank manager has said there is nothing wrong with my debit card, its on Crickets end. I called Cricket back, talked to a manager, a specialist, refreshed my card information and these people still wont except my card to pay my phone bill. In result, my phone is shut off and Cricket is telling me to drive two in a half hours away to talk to a store representative about my problem. This is ridiculous. I have been a loyal customer to Cricket for seven years and they refuse to fix this problem.

I am an American serviceman living overseas. On my trips back to the U.S. I have reactivated a Cricket mobile phone so that I can have a cell phone while traveling in the States. On my last trip, I reactivated the phone online and paid $25. The plan as well as the receipt said that this payment of $25 included 300 minutes. However, the $25 only reactivated the phone. In order to get minutes on the phone, Cricket wanted an additional $25. The information on the website for phone reactivation is misleading. I called Cricket to get my money refunded and they refused. I took a sledgehammer to my phone and am now feeling much better. I am done doing business with Cricket.

It is amazing to me that in the U.K. I can purchase a new phone for less than $10 and load it with minutes, also for less than $10. You can buy any phone and put any smart chip in it with no contract needed. When will the U.S. open up its cell market and make it cheaper for the customer?

here I go: first I made my first payment on line, got confirmation number then I have on mail a $1.25 bill that I cancel from a begining I do not buy stamps or mail payments why I have to pay this ridiculous fee. from 45.95 per internet service per month I got $130.50 bill ? late payment and they not even can explaint to me the other charges? they say never get the pay last month.I got a copy of my bank transactions and show to those idiots. they clear all that but then I got this letter about the $50.00 rebate .today I whent to te store to make my payment.thinking that would be better than made via internet, and there was a $3.00 fee for paying thru them $1.00 extra if you use debit or $2.00 more if you pay with credit card w.t.fk. I really wish that this company survive thru the next year, we really are tired of people like them filing banckrupcy to cover the stupidity of themselves. happy holidays everyone.

I have been a cricket customer for since 2011. On November 1, 2013, I went to a cricket store to make some upgrades onto my account. I upgraded phones for both of my lines. When I purchased the phone, I specifically asked if the amount that I was paying included my monthly service. I asked because it played a factor in determining which phone I could afford. I was told by two different women in the store that my monthly charges were included and my bill would not be due until December 1st. That was agreeable to me so I went ahead and bought the more expensive phone. After two days I received a text from cricket saying my account was past due and needed to be paid in full in order to avoid service interruption. I have spoke to cricket customer service and even spoke to the woman who took care of the transaction for me. She claims that she went off of the information that was available to her at that time. I explained to her that it was not my fault, I asked if my bill was being covered and she said yes. I feel that they should do something about it. They have refused and I explained to them that I will be cancelling all of my services from them and will also discourage anyone from using them. They are not worth the headache.

I went in the store with my bill to make a payment. The manager pulled up my account and stated I owed $68 my bill was for $55.25. She stated she could not except anthing less. I asked her for corporate number that was located on Patterson Ave. She said she did no have the number. I asked her could she look it up on her computer she said no and that my phone was off. I told her that my bill is do today why would my phone be off. She came up with a lie stating after a certain time they turn it off for non payment. I asked to speak to the manager she said she was in a nasty rude tune. I asked if she had a boss and what is his/her name she said no. I called 1800cricket and explain to them what was happenening the ask me to have her take my phone so the could resolve this matter. She said she's not talking to no one she will call them back later. As I was explaining to customer service what was going she lokked at me and burst out laughing. To make a long depressing story short the manager at this store was rude uncooperative, useless, lazy, nasty and unproffessional. I will never buy or promote cricket again. The phone I had with cricket is in the garbage.

Do the customer service people taking calls at the 1-800-CRICKET number really not know what they are talking about or do they intentionally try to give you the run around and 99% of the time eventually disconnect you? I am completely frustrated with them and figure I'm going to just have to cancel all 3 lines and go with Boost Mobile. Everytime I call I get either nowhere or different answers, none of which resolve my problem and each call much too time consuming. I would not only not recommend Cricket to anyone, I will probably go out of my way to DIScourage their service. In fact I will probably search someway to voice my problem/opinion as loud as I can. I paid 6 mos svc in cash in advance, was told you get free month for every months prepaid. The store I bought the 3 phones went out of business and Cricket says I have to go back there, I have a balance due. I havent gotten my free 2 months service yet. Time to write off my losses and go with someone more reputable?

I purchased a cricket broadband card from Walmart. I activated the card online thru cricket . They offered a free 2 day trial in which time I could not get it to work properly. When I activated I paid $50.00 mfor unlimited service. I continued to try to get it to work but could not.I called cricket within the 2 day period and disconected the service, I was told at that time that my card would not be charged. A few days later My card was charged for a service that was disconnected.I tried on the phone to get it resolved but was told I could not get a refund. I went to the local Cricket corp store. They show in their computer where the service had been disconnected and had no usage. but I was told I had to have a reciept from walmart where I returned ths device I don, t know many people who keep receipts fpr refunds. It should not matter since they show the service disconnected during the free trial period but they refuse to refund my money. Why do I have to pay not only for a service that did not work but also one that had been disconnected. I think they are just theives.

There is a glitch with my Cricket phone service, and I am getting over 1500 text messages per day directly from Cricket. This has been going on for four days now. I have talked to tech support over 15 times. I have talked to 3 customer care agents. I have talked to 3 managers. And I have called the local corporate office on Needmore rd. in Dayton, Ohio several times (no call back). And I have had several people during these various phone conversations tell me that they were checking into it and going to call me back with a status update. NOT ONE SINGLE CALL BACK FROM ANYONE! And there is no end in sight. They basically tell me what they think I want to hear just to get me off the phone. The managers could absolutely care less! I contacted my local police station to see if there is anything that could be done, because I feel this constitutes harassment. They said that nothing can be done, since Cricket is the one who is sending me the text messages. You would think that it would not matter, because I do pay for the service. This has been the absolute worse experience I have ever had with any company!

On 2/27/11 I purchased a Cricket phone. Finally got it activated on 3/16/11 after many calls to the worst customer service center I've ever dealt with. On that same day, I tried to start my phone number porting from another company. I had to call back because the system was down. Days later the number still had not been ported. On 3/29/11 after 100's of calls & screaming at non-English speaking ###s, my number was ported to a complete stranger & added to her account. I managed to get them to port my number to me which disconnected her phone. Now I cannot do anything to MY phone because it's on her account & my phone number which I've had for years, will be lost. F these people. I'm done. Do NOT use this company.

Had my Cricket Broadband account suspended without notifying me. Recieved an e-mail notifiying me that my Visa card was soon expiring and i needed to update it with new card. I calle Cricket Tech. support and the agent told me he could not update my expiration date due to the fact that i had to have automatic payment withdrawal setup. I told him i DID..! That the amount was taken every 15th of every month. He still argued with me about not being able to update my credit card information.! I then tried to make a payment of $41.00 on the My Cricket website but it would not process my payment due to a white screen appearing on the website after i put my payment amount in..! Then tried to call Tech Support and could never get hold of a "live" agent to fix my problem. The Tech Support website is the WORSE..! If you don't tell the automated voice response exactly what you need, the recorded message will say try again later and then "Disconnect" You...!

First off all don't get cricket and definately make sure to write everything down. Everytime I call their customer service I end up speaking to someone in a foreign country like Panama, Colombia, Peru, Guatemala, Puerto Rico and rarely in the U.S. Plus they don't don't know how to treat a customer, they have no respect for you at all and they live of each customer's payments. So what we pay for our phone bill keeps backstabbing companies like "Cricket" going. Another thing is that they change your plans without your authorization, they open you separate accounts under your name and say that the plans one gets at a local store are not real and are forgeries or flukes. Which is very ridiculous. Second, they hang up on you over the phone and don't want you to speak with a supervisor when you ask for one and if they let you speak to one "Don't believe them" you end up talking to one of their friends who is supposed to be their supervisor. That's enough, we should all do something about this and make cricket responsible for what they've done or have them shut down. plus it sounds like they are another phone company that went down the drain years ago and is hiding behind the name oc Cricket. Third, they exploit their workers and contract workers outside of the U.S. because its cheap labor. But they are not helping the economy here at all. So, if the vice president or CEO of Cricket reads this. Don't be a stuck up for your wealth and luxurious riches that you get thanks to the money of hard working people. That even don't get time to breath or rest just to keep up with the bills. STOP HARRASSING CUSTOMERS OVER THE PHONE AND IN THE STORES! AND ANOTHER THING CRICKET, STOP TELLING PEOPLE FALSE STORIES OR TELLS LIES!

People don't recommend cricket to others or to your families. "it is better to be safe than sorry" and try to find other legit companies that are worthy and remain true to their word. We need to do something about Cricket and stop them from keeping this going. Or at least get them to to what is right and treat customers right in every single aspect possible.

Thanks and best of luck as I'm very dissapointed in the Cricket company

I added an extra Cricket wireless line to for my wife after receiving a text from them promoting the “New Kiocera Rio” phone. Me and my wife went to the Cricket Store on Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego and bought the phone. The main reason my wife wanted to have the phone was because it had a music player and was relatively cheap. Well about a week after we bought the phone we bought a memory card, loaded some music on it and tried out the music player. Well...the music player did not work and we took the phone back over that weekend to have it replaced. The store clerk then tried using his memory card in the slot and it still did not work but referred us to a corporate store for a refund/exchange. Already fuming at this stage I took the time to take the phone to the corporate Store in San Marcos where the store manager mentioned that there is a problem with the music player on the Kiocera Rio phone as they have received an internal memo stipulating the problem and a replacement would thus not do any good and referred me back to the Store in Clairemont Mesa. It is now a month later, everybody at cricket just shrugs their shoulders while we are sitting with a piece of junk which battery barely last half a day as well. I am considering cutting all ties with cricket and their appalling service. It must be noted that cricket still sells the kyocera Rio to unsuspecting customers in their stores

I purchased a new HUAWEI Asend II (muve music) at regular price and I did ask them if it was a new cell phone and they said "yes", but come to find out it is not a new cell phone it is a "refurbish" cell phone. Cricket Communications is selling refurbished & used cell phones as new phones to their customers! This is Deceitful Business Practices and they should be held liable to all their customers for stealing their money by leading their customers to believe that the cell phones they are buying are "NEW", when the cell phones are refurbish or used. This criminal act has cost me time and money trying to remedy the problem.

I was coming from verizon i went on the cricket website got on chat with a cricket rep. and my biggest concern was would i be able to keep my old phone number even though my verizon acct. was turned off 2 days prior. and i was assured i would be able to keep my number, i also went the next day to the cricket store and again asked and was assured i WOULD be able to keep my number. so after purchasing the phone and the monthly service the rep told me my number would be ported over to my new phone within 24 hours and was given a temporary phone number, after 3 days i went back to the store to find out when my number would be ported to my phone and was told it couldn't be done i even spoke to 2 employees one of them being the one who had set up my account and they both checked and were under the impression it could be done. As expected i left that store regretting my decision already to do business with a company who started with a lie. I have resumes out there that are useless because the phone numbers wrong. It seems to me that their policy is tell them whatever they want to hear to get their business. Thanx for nothing cricket!

On March 17, 2012, I got a Cricket cellular account. Since that time, the phone has not worked properly.
When I took this complaint back to the store, I was told to take the phone to the Cricket authorized store to get the
warranty service which I pay an additional $5/month for. I emphasize that the phone was faulty out of the box.
When I went to the other store, I was treated rudely and told that I needed to pay $20 as per the insurance agreement.
But, the phone is brand new; they stuck to that policy. I went back to the original store because I had also been overcharged.
To be fair, the person there did correct the overcharge, but by this time, I had spent three hours and still had a defective
phone. I mentioned to this same person that the battery runs out, even with minimal usage after a few hours and I had not
been able to get email or any other web activity. He checked my battery usage settings and confirmed that the settings were
fine and sent me on my way.
The phone still drains out about midday. If I haven't got my charger, I don't have usage.
I think the problem could be boiled down to a defective battery.
I called Cricket, where I was quoted policy until I insisted on speaking to a manager. When the manager came onto the
line, I was explaining the problem to him and
I was hung up on.
All I expect of Cricket is to deliver what they promised; no more, but certainly no less.

I want Cricket to replace the battery and do this without charge.

Cricket sends a cell phone that never worked properly and then refuses to refund our money. We spoke with different customer service reps and get a different story on how to proceed each time. Most of what they say is BS. Cricket is the most pathetic company that I have done business with in a very long time. Stay away from Cricket - it's a terrible, unethical, and slimy company that deserves to go out of business. They make promises and never follow through. If you like headaches and terrible service, sign up with them. Cricket is bad news.

Over the last 3 days, I have been subjected to more than 3 dozen hang up calls from at least 5 different out of state phone#'s all related to Cricket. I screen all my calls, so, when I call the # back I am directed to call *611. So I do this and get the usual garbage, finally I get to a customer service rep who can't understand a word of English and they do nothing. I have sworn at them, begged, pleaded and cajoled and nothing, they keep calling. I do not owe money, my bill is paid in full, just as it has been for over 5 years. WTF is up with you [censored]bags! Any more calls and I will sue your fat lazy ### from here to China and back.
