Trying to warn others to avoid fraud from this provider of firewood, before dumping he ask for payment and after dropping it, it turned out to be chunks of swamp wood. Of course, Craigslist does not do anything about it!

and because I asked about the permit and inspection, they left. I have not seen them since. Had to hire another company to come in and finish. Paid the amount stated in ad, was then asked for 2000 more to cover transportation insurance, fully refunded on delivery. Did more research before sending more money. It's a SCAM, notified authorities and eBay. Please take ad down to protect others

I have been seeing an awful lot of these all over the internet. Groups or someone paying people to attend crowds and get paid for to do it. Don't you think that this needs to be stopped? Doesn't anyone on all the craiglists sights check these out to be stopped before trying to post this crap? don't you think this is in violation of your sights? This country really doesn't need to have this to help all the violence? Don't you agree? If you do, and care about this country like millions of us do, then stop this and show your support. Don't you think there are enough lives killed because of this? If you love this country, I mean truly love this country, then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

This is a post for a rental home. I went to see the place on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 @ 12pm. They told me to pay an application fee of $40 per person. Then I was told to call today, Thursday, at 3pm to see if I was approved. First, she said she could not find my application and started asking me if I was any of the people on the applications, giving me their personal information. Then she said we were denied because of our 60 lb dog. The advertisement states large dogs are allowed, we even called to confirm. Then we talked to the supervisor who said the house was rented on Tuesday, August 22. Why would they take an application fee on a house that was already rented?

There is currently an ad on your site posted by a [protected]@outlook.com advertising MY home as available for rent. This is not for rent and it is not owned by this Chantelle. I would like it removed IMMEDIATELY.

It lists a website of www.cogwa.org and the header on the ad is Interactive spaces with the right separation to accommodate.

On August 19th purchased a Gas dryer from Michelle that she stated to be in excellent condition on the ad. We increased the price to cover her to deliver it to the home and when the tenants used it the first time it took double the length of time to dry a load of clothes and when they went to turn it on again it will not turn on. I have texted her, called and e-mailed with no response and she still has the item listed for sale

The product is not so much the problem as are the issues dealing with the seller, Rebecca Bressman. She initially stated she was mailing the items on or around 7/31, but after excuses that I don't know are true, I finally received them today (8/14), though I had said I needed them ASAP. She told me the shipping was $4, and I see it only cost her $1.42. I sent a very polite email pointing out this difference (I'll send my email if you wish). She answered back that I'm never to contact her again or she'll report me for harassment! She said I agreed to pay for postage AND gas, which isn't true; anyone can read our string of emails and see this. (her email: "Its just under $14 for the diapers and shipping if you want to send me a check.")
Anyway... I'll never use Craigslist again after this upsetting and time-wasting experience.

Perfect Condition ATV was brought on Craigslist and the buyer came from another City and State to Michigan paid for it drove it away Happy. Several hours later he demanded his money back. Seller returned the money. Seller discovered the buyer stole parts off the ATV.

I got involved in fraud when trying to buy a car on Craig's List. Lost 3000 dollars, as the seller said she was selling her vehicle through Amazon and I was asked to pay with Amazon gift cards. I loaded 3000 dollars on Amazon gift cards and emailed the codes to Amazon, which turned out to be a fraud. The car that I wanted to by was listed on your website.
Wondering if you could help to solve a crime or offer any compensation, as the crime started on your website.

I have experienced this with several individuals offering free materials. After setting up a scheduled day/time to pick materials, usually within the next 24 hours, with the party giving the materials away, when I reconfirm 30 minutes prior to my planning to arrive, awaiting for an address, turns out they did something else. I realize that you may have no control over what people do, but I'd like to suggest that you post some type of "rule of courtesy" guideline. If the giver is backing out of an arrangement, they have the courtesy to contact the party to say they have done something else. In all cases, either I've made special plans to pick up the materials, even in one case, drove the 1 hour round trip to end up with nothing. Makes one think that doing things with Craigslist is not worth the time and effort.

A fraudulent individual has posted an ad in Boulder under vacation rentals. The pictures are fake as is the description but our address is given. Two people have already been scammed. One for $3000.00, one for $800.00. We flag the ad almost daily but do forget sometimes. Is it possible to get information on the person who is posting this ad or to remove it permanently? We're tired of people coming to our door, as one did today, asking if our house is the rental house.

I answered a CL post from Shreveport, LA that was selling ostomy supplies. I spoke to the person Elisa Foster and made arrangements to purchase the supplies for my son. She made a big deal about she really needed the money for groceries and wanted me to send her cash through Moneygram. So I did. She seemed so trustworthy. Her 6 yo son was in the background and she took a pic of her mother with a sign saying I could trust her. I send her 180 and it cost in total 201.99. I have not heard from her since. She appears to have blocked me. I was going to send her a UPS label which would be free shipping to her.

Whatever can I do? I cannot believe I was scammed by this person over ostomy supplies.

I emailed them and requested an edit/ and writing to my academic and personal statement we agreed on $50 both and to be done by Friday. The writer was unprofessional and frauded the work, I gave them a sample of how I wanted and shared some information to make them professional. First, they didn't get it supposedly done not until Saturday after 5 pm, the work was basically what I sent them and they only sent two paragraph of which unprofessionally done, and they increased the price. I requested to not pay them the remaining balance until they fix the work they refuse to do so and stopped replying to my messages. this is ridiculous not only they wasted my time but played me and I'm short in time and they used my work. I ask Craigslist to take an action to stop those people from frauding people, I will contact my bank to get my money back. but please take an action . my email is [protected]@umich.edu
