I am a 46 year old female and have had nothing but a hard time with this company-if you want to call it that. From the very 1st time I was late only a few days they have been nothing but rude and non- cooperative. They have called my work and when told not to do so, they continue to call and on one occasion called 6 times in a 5 minute period, she ask why I hung up on her and as I was explaining I had to answer calls at my office, she did exactly what she did before (which is why I hung up in the 1st place) she cut me off and wouldn't shut up so I told her to shut up, which I never speak to anyone this way, But this person was so extremely rude and screaming at me on the phone over my voice and then called back and ask my coworker directions to my place of business and ask if there was security in the parking lot and ask the name of the security guard in the lot, she then told the coworker she was sending it in for repo (isn't there something called the PRIVACY ACT), how do they get away with this, and in response to the article written by the employee of CPS in orlando- you can tell they are like that just by reading the letter and you better hope (little young one) that you never get in a income problem as carma is a funny thing. And real adults discuss the situation occurring and have an understanding of real life not the one where your mommy covers your butt and takes care of your bills, I don't have that convenience.I work in the real world during the recession, and things are tough everywhere except at CPS obviously.

    I totally agree, this company is rude and very mean spirited. This is the worst employees I have ever had to deal with. They do not talk to you like you are human being but a piece of trash. They call me at work after being told not to again and again. I work in a hospital emergency room and cannot take care of my patients and answer the phone with them harrassing. I try talking to them when I need some help with my payment and they are rude call me names and then when I ask to speak to to a manager, they badger me to death about why I am wanting to tal to a supervisor. I will never deal with these people again after I get done with vehicle!

    They need to have a complaint filed against them. One rep called my mother told her how many patments i was behind and called my mother a ###. They act like no one can have hard times..Is there any attorney out there who can take a case on this company? I have made arrangments to make my payment and they wont take my payment.. HELP I have recorded all my conversations with this company and you would be amazed at some of the stuff they have said.

    As a group we should all find out how to stop this company. With all the bailouts right now maybe we can get help...LOL.

    This company is horrible!! Please avoid them! They do not care about customer service. They are a debt collection agency.

    I agree 100%. I have spoken to people with-in this company and they yell at me, they call me about every 10-15 minutes. They threaten to repo my truck after my payment is 1 day late. Today, I called to see if I could make half of a payment and they refused my payment. I have another loan through Bank of America and never have they treated me this way; even if I am late or having a hard time. I will never ever deal with these people again. I am hoping to find a lawyer that will stand up for myself, and these clients of CPS. They need to be stopped. If anyone is out there to help, please let me know!

    I raed the comment the CPS rep. made. it was an excellent example of their poor attitude toward their customers.They have called my house in the evening hours, and also called my husbands work. They are extremely unprfessional. I am 47 years old and have dealt with alot of companys but I have never seen anything like this before. harrassing people who are just barely late. I will write a complaint to the BBB. please do the same and we may get somewhere. These people are rude and ruthless and apparently think they are above the law.

    Don't feel bad, I have had CPS for over 5 yrs on a vehicle that the dealership paperwork saying 48 months of payments. I have requested in writting and with a rep. a copy of the contract. They have refused stating "it's none of my business", I have had reps. call and leave me rude messages on my voice mail at home and on my cell phone for not being let but not paying the day before the due date. Thye are totally unwilling to work with you on payments and are very unprof. when it comes to talking to you. CPS does have a bad rating with the BBB, but they aren't listed as CPS there. They are listed as Consumer Profile Service INC. This company is a high risk loan company that really takes to heart HIGH RISK loans. I have been told that they were sending a repo truck to my house to pick up the car a number of times. And Like I told them the last time they threaten me to do it. Come and get it, You pick up, u can keep the damn thing, it's and '01 that I got in '05, and if you want it that bad go ahead and come get it.. The rep. then goes into well this is going to affect your this point I informed the twit that it would be classed as a vol. repo, therefore by law they can NOT post it on the credit report. She got really smart ### and told me that I couldn't prove that, and I stated that her phone lines and our conv. is record and by that it's Public info. that I can request in a court hearing. So make my day and come and get it. She hung up on me and that was the last time I have heard that threat. This Company trains there employees to collect and how they do the collection is illegal somehow by fedral law, but I haven't found one that has stated everything they are doing, just pieces of it. So if anyone knows how to post or get a class action law suit against them, I would love to join. U know stick it were it hurts with no lub... :P

    I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one. I'm one month behind and just hung up with one of their Reps from the Repo Dept., after explaining for 15 mins (yes, I should have gave up w/in 5 mins) that I would pay at the end of the month, she refused and said "where is the car parked, we're making arrangements to have it picked up." The question I have is after many, many posts from others stating they "threaten" repossession have they ever done so? And if so, how long did it take for someone to actually come and get it? I'm working on financing through another company and need to buy more time. I too have had them attempt to take a "authorized" payment but funds were not available, therfore they did not receive payment but left me with a overdraft check fee. What's even more deceitful is I received a letter on the 17th of the month confirming they were going to take the funds out on the 13th - of course by that time they had already processed the debit and I assume they needed to mail this letter as proof of our "verbal" commitment. Needless to say I'm fed up, my family is fed up (Dad, boyfriend, and 86 y/o GRANDMOTHER) with the calls. Although public transportation is not fun at this point I'd rather catch a rail than the HELL I'm dealing with. Someone said CPS went bankrupt and now is just a collection agency. I'm going to do some research to confirm. I'm in on the lawsuit too...

    I agree, they are very horrible people but I talk to them the same way they talk to me.I have never been with a company like this, the company i was with before them, they would give me extension and everything if i couldnt pay my bill for that month.If i knew that the dealership hooked me up with them i wouldve said HELL NO, They tell me that they will repo to but they never come.i think that they are trying to scare people to make you pay right now, I wish that there were something that we could do.I mean we know that we have to pay for what we have, we are not trying to get out of that, but its hard for everyone right now.But they dont try to help you get pass that, they dont care if your pass away are anything they just want there money By Anymean Ness.but if anyone find out anything new post it and same here.GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE GOD BLESS...

    I agree I think we all should contact your state attorney office and try to get this company out of business. What ever you do try not miss any payments and try looking refiancing with another company. I'm from Ranson, WV

    some representatives had called my job and was very rude and nasty until I received one person, and I mean one person that was very nice, and she had helped me. The other's, rude, nasty and all of the above. the representatives do not understand that they are contractors and the way people are loosing their jobs and most of all you see people getting hurt these days, it's really bad. When people loose their jobs, family, and then you get somebody like them calling you every 5 minutes, people looses all calmnest that they had. Then you wonder why we have stalkers. It's people attitudes. If the owners of this company really read the negatives complaints that their company is receiving, I think he should do some remodeling of the office (if you know what I mean) let them see how it feels to loose something that they had worked hard for, for years and let's see how they will act and feel. Representatives of CPS, maintain your cool, it might be you next.

    Real adults take care of their own bills. They don't need mommy to do it, and they don't get botghered by collection agencies because they don't pay late.

    OMG My husband is deployed and we were behind on the car payment. This morning I woke up to hearing this very rude lady saying we have a lack of communication and that she knows that I have heard their messages. This woman was pretty much going off on my answering machine early this morning. They have been calling everyone on my reference list telling them we are behind and that they cannot get a hold of my husband. I have tried working something out with this company and they wont help me at all. They are just worried about getting their money. If I knew how these people were going to be I would of never let my husband go through them. I know once I get this car paid off I will never use them again.

    i had this one lady call me from this company when i made a partial payment, she asked me "how do you have the audacity to make a partial payment." my thinking at the time i did the payment most is better than none. she asked me when i could get the remaining balance and i told her the following week. she told me that was unacceptable that i needed to come up with the money with in the next day. (this was the first time i had ever been late with my truck payment) she went so far as asking me why don't i ask friends and family members for the money when i told her i had no family down here and that i wasn’t going to go around asking people for money she told me to take stuff to a pawn shop and get the remaining balance. i told her she was a very unprofessional woman and she told me that i was an unprofessional woman for not paying my bill in full. i was just coming off of maternity leave at my job and i wanted to pay it in full but i only paid what i had (and most places agree with the fact most is better than none)

    i am going through the same thing right now with them i have been late for th last couple of months because of job lay off and i havent been able to get the payment in for this month yet i told 3 representatives that i will have the payment in by the end of this week and they told me that was no good and my car would get repoed if they payment wasnt made by tomorrow.then one lady told me to sell some of my stuff or get a payday loan. i was like these people are crazy if they are like this they can have the car it needs some stuff fixed on it anyway and i just had to put new tires on it im so sick of cps i wish someone would shut them down

    I had the same thing happen to me... The woman told me that I should take my daughters father for child support so I could make my payments on time. Also that I was an unfit mother for telling them to come get the car. She said oh you’re a great mother to put your kids on the bus. Which was not the case at all…? I never wanted to hunt someone down before in my life. They are so rude and something needs to be done!

    I finally paid them off last November...not a moment too job was outsourced to Canada so I lost the job and was offered the opportunity to go to school which I did..for two years, and lived off unemployment and a state program. The representatives told me i was too old to be going to school, (I was 52-54 at the time), and I should get a job so I can pay on time. I even paid once with a moneygram, and after they received it they took the car for the day, and charged me $200.00 in fees! I will never use this finance company again...and I tell anyone that is looking into buying a car to be sure not to go with this company...the rudest people on earth work there. I can not believe its allowed.

    I totally agree, I contacting my state attorney office, about this company and I think everyone should they have no right to contact people in that manner and with receiving a letter register of default I would worry about this company. I don't understand how they are recieving payments when they're a collection agency. pleaseee lets report this company and put them out of business, i will also and I think if your late but will to make arrangements with the way the econmony is they should be willing to work with you. I too owe for august and will be making my payment on september 4 and september payment will not be due until 17th i t's life so what people get behind...

    All the above is true. They also are liars and have threatened me. They told me they were coming to get my car and a tow truck was coming to get my car and used a false name for the two truck company. (The name they gave me is not even a business in my town. They did repocess my car and are coming after the balance after it was sold at auction. Bet...they will not show me a bill of sale. I am going to talk to a lawyer and send this into the attorney general of our state.

    I agree with you all. THis company is nothing but a ripoff. They are very rude and hateful when on the phone. I don't have a loan with them my husband does and they won't call him they only call me when the payment is only days behind. They call me and when I requested they quit calling me and to call my husband they told me I had no aurthorization to tell them that and they would continue to call. I told the woman that if I had no aurtization on the account then dont call me looking for payment. Then she yelled at me that it wasn't her fault the payment was late. I thought when dealing with a customer you are suppose to assume they are always correct and speak to them in a nice manner. Then when I asked to speak to the manager the girl told me she was the only one I could speak with and when I told her that there had to be someone over her she hung up on me.
