Dollar General new store, coffeeville alabama store number 17455

this store is a new store, it looks like a junk yard, messy, stuff still in the boxes that it was shipped in, hard too get checked out with all the people hanging out talking too the clerk, people breaking in line ahead of people that was in the before them, we need this store here for the town of Coffeeville, it helps a lot of the people, just letting u know it not going too be here long with this kind of management, looks like there are no kind of rules for these people. can u help.

Dollar General sleepwear

I took my sleepwear back because it was too big and my receipt too get my 9.00 dollars back.The employee said it was on sale and refuse to give back my full refund.She was also rude and didn't want to do her job I think this was wrong I come in here all the time and never have a problem.This employee is always rude and I'm start to thank she's racist which is wrong I think this store can do better with their customers thank you

Dollar General complaint about rude workers and filthy store

I went to the dollar general in Stanley enc 28164 on Oct 1 and was very rudely waited on at the register. The store was so packed with unshielded goods you couldn't use a buggy. I have visited this store twice and was in such disarray and rude workers I will not go back good luck on keeping this store open if they treat people the way they treated me. You really should send someone from corporate to check on your investment and who you have running it.

Dollar General customer first survey complaint

I would like to know why its called customer first survey?
I am in the store at least 5-6 times per week up until recently I was able to complete all survey's, now I can only complete 2 every 14 day's.
I am a very loyal Dollar General customer and do not understand why they print survey's on the receipt to be completed if I can not complete them, I have nothing but good thing's to say about Dollar General that is why I'm in there all the time. I spoke with Carlo at the [protected] number and he was of no help in this matter. So there fore as much as I like to do business with Dollar General I will now be shopping with Family Dollar and maybe then I might understand what customer first.

Dollar General condition of store

Hello, I live in Beaverton, MI, and shop at Dollar General here. I have been in many many D.Gs, and this one, by far, is the dirtiest store in the area! There are items laying all over the floor and shelves are not stocked. The stock is in boxes in the isle ways. Today, I watched one employee walk around, never attempting to pick up anything in the isle! He walked around the items!

Finding the store in this condition is not just once in awhile, this is ALL the time! I find myself going to Family Dollar across the road to find the items I need. If I'm traveling near by and I need something from D.G., I will go to another one, knowing that this one is either dirty or will not have the items I need, due to not being stocked.

Dollar General store in general

I have been in the Bennington vt DG 4 times in the last month and the store is such a mess! Many shelves are empty and freight blocking aisles. Understandable if it was a one time deal but everytime i go in there you have to fight to get around maybe the fire inspector should go in there it is a hazard. If its because of short staff then they should hire help. I think this will be my last trip there for a while.

Dollar General misconduct and unprofessional behavior of employees

This horrible incident of discrimination, citizens rights violation, and employee misconduct took place at this particular Dollar General Store:

I entered the store to do a bit of shopping and there was a lovely African American woman who entered the store before I did. She actually, politely held the door for me.

When she entered the store, the cashier told her that she had to leave her bag at the register, before she could come into the store, which is interesting because I to had a back pack on, and she didn't tell me I had to leave my bag at the register.

The lady said something to the effect of "I've shopped in many Dollar General stores and have never been told that I had to leave my bag at the register before I shop." The cashier said she knew that all the other stores don't require it, but this particular store policy does require shoppers to leave any bags at the front to cut down on theft. She looked at me and said, "well, what about his bag?" That's when I just did my shopping to stay out of it. I decided to listen and watch the whole thing from a side aisle in the store.

The cashier said, "He has his on his back, you have a duffle bag on your shoulder." The lady said something like "it shouldn't matter either way, and it is actually a violation of citizens rights to make people leave their personal property at the desk while they shop (store can't guarantee safety and also people shouldn't have to put their stuff on the floor). You have security cameras; you can follow folks around the store if you want to, but it's against the law to force shoppers to leave their stuff." The cashier and the lady went back and forth for a little while longer, then the lady asked the cashier what her name was. The cashier said, " I don't have to give you my name, but I can get the manager so you can talk to her." The lady said I would like to speak with the manager. So the cashier yells for the manager to come up front. She called 3 times, finally another woman came up to the front of the store, and this was the worst:

This woman (kind of short, stout, dark brown skinned, wearing glasses) who was not in Dollar General uniform came up to the shopper lady and very rudely said to the lady, "What's the problem?" The situation was explained, and this woman said, "I know that isn't the Dollar General Policy, but this is my store, I'm the manager, and I can decide whatever we do in this store." She said, "I don't even have to talk to you about anything, but if you want to shop at my store, you have to do what I say."

The lady said this is horrible treatment and that her behavior was unacceptable and completely unprofessional, and she said "This isn't your store, this is a store a part of a national chain. "

It went on and on, the lady then asked the woman what her name was. She said that she was off the clock and she didn't have to tell her name. Horrible behavior.

Dollar General cash back policy not posted

At 8:30 a.m. I proceeded to pay for my items as usual at Dollar General my items total to be around $22. I needed to use the cash back option, and as I was sliding my card I inquired about cash the cash back option, and the cashier told me we don't do cash back. Now that information was not posted in a location where the customer could see it, if I would have known I could have stopped at the bank and gotten what I needed instead. This was a waste of my time. The cashier also replied I don't know if you shop in here often but it's been this way for a while, I didn't say anything I gathered my items, and I left don't think I'll be going to this particular Dollar General anymore.

Dollar General service

I was in your store Monday 9/25/2017. As I am a daily customer this has been the usual with your credit card reader not working properly and I had to stand in line for over 10 minutes.There was a line behind me and it was embrassing to say the least. While the lady at the register was nice and finally fixed the problem I was dumbfounded why the Store Manager was outside and in that time frame never came into the store. I’m not current on your stores policies about small children being left alone in the store but there was a small child standing at the front door. I asked the lady and she informed me that it was her grandchild and her mother was outside with the store manager. I went to leave and looked for both of them and they were at the corner of the store. That was a dangerous situation that child was put in and I Have informed the proper people of this matter. And they have informed they would look into this matter. I know I sat in my car for at least 30 minutes and watched them outside. In my opinion if you have time to socialize with young ladies you have time to clean that unorganized, nasty floors, boxes and those carts with all the products on them in the store. I will not go back into this store again. The stores has great cashiers but that is the only nice thing I can say for it. I will do my business from now on at the Maco store.

Dollar General i'm appalled at how I was just treated at. dollar general

My daughter and I was just shopping at the Vermont n.main st store were I never felt so embarrassed a manager they call mad dog real name Karen yells to me you do know that item isn't 50% off ya know so rude like I wanted to toss the copper pan at her were others in the store laughed..then as I was outside waiting for my daughter to pay for all the items we purchased she approached me saying we know what you guys done I asked what was that she went on telling me we stole little girl underwater from them the other day. I went on telling her excuse me but why would I ask the price today for them if I stole them the other day do you have proof of this she was like no. But we know...I stated oh you just know.. I'm getting tired of the treatment I receive at this store by her and the store manager for she's bad as well claiming her 3 yr old left a mess going potty in there 2 months ago to were it was a mess before she was taken. In to be changed. I honestly don't enjoy being harassed by dollar general staff like this I happen to spend a lot of money there. I think it's time I tell my friends and family about it and not shop there no more. I'm so angry I even want to mention the harassment I receive there on Facebook.

Dollar General signal mountain dollar general store

I went to DG @ 8 am this morning. When I checked out the credit card reader wasn't working and declined my card numerous times. We pay off our CC every month nor would it take my debit card (money was in my account.) Cashier said it was her machine. A line of customers were behind me as the other cash registered was still being opened at 8:15. The cashier was flirting with the man behind me as he asked her how she was doing. "Just hanging out, " was her reply. Literally, she was hanging out and inappropriately dressed. After 30 minutes at DG I asked her to try the other register. They put my items ($57 worth of merchandise) at the other register. The girl that checked me out placed my Cokes at the registered and ruptured both packs and Coke now spilling everywhere! I left and went to another store which took my debit card with no problem. New cc machines should be considered and professional training is much needed at that location!

Dollar General management store 15000

September 27, 2017
I have sent several complains about this situations and no one has gotten back to me about it. I want to hear from the CEO of this company! If I do not recieve an email or a phone call in the next week, I'm plastering this all over Facebook and I have several people who would be willing to share it. Chad Wingate had no reason to tell anybody about what I told him! He ran his mouth when he had no business too! And as far as Patty Reed, she was giving the contract below and nothing was done. She was just moved to a different section to be a district manager there. Simply they are both book smart and have no common sense on what to tell and what not to tell! It’s come to my attention, that the Farmington store manager Chad Wingate has miss used his position. I had a conversation with him regarding a personal issue, which I was suppose to inform him about. He then had a conversation with the Manchester store manager on his cell phone, because Farmington store phones were not operating. This letter is for damage of mishandled information, miss use of management and information of a personal matter due to the fact of him telling another store manager. When the only person he should of told was his boss. This is a legal contract requesting $25, 000 in damages from each party, in a sum of $50, 000. This response has an expiration date of exactly 2 weeks from when this letter is dated. If payment is not met in a reasonable timely manner I am going to pursue legal action.

Dollar General coupon misuse

I am from Wilmington North Carolina, The store located at 93 Long Ridge Drive, Wilmington NC, 28405 have been taking large orders with more than the specified limit of coupons. There is a lady that comes every day almost and gets tons of boxes of gain products, another lady has got 130 febreeze products when the coupon states 3 per person per house hold. I myself have got a hard time trying to use 1 or 2 coupons to help my household. This is not right and needs to be looked into. We should not have friends scanning other friends coupons. If the coupon policy cannot be fair for everyone, they're should be strict rules on how many can be used!

Dollar General employee

Store no. 00881

You might want to check on one of the employees at this location. The reason I say this is because one of the young girls waited on me the other day. The young girl seemed to be on something. Didn't seem to know what she was doing. Her eyes were very dilated. One of the customers said they have seen her like this before. It doesn't seem to be all the time. I've seen it before maybe 6 or 7 times. I don't know this for sure. But a lady told me a while back that the girl use to do cocaine. I don't know for sure but I thought I would let someone know. I'm not positive but I believe her name was something like Lexa or Elexa. Please keep me out of this because I don't want any trouble.

Dollar General conditions of the store

I am wanting to file a complaint on this dollar general. I have been a customer at this dollar general for 2 years as it near me and its convenient and saves me from having to go to walmart. I have always loved going go this store. It was always kept in good clean condition, employees were nice and freindly, able to find what i need. I would always she the store manager there she was there all the time. I dont know how she did it. Now ive been told that she no longer works here because she was replaced because she couldnt handle the store. I think that was a big mistake. I have been watching this store go down hill since the new one has been there. Place is a wreck, nothing on the shelves or freezers, thinga always in the isles blocking paths, i am sure ita not accessible to people in wheel chairs as there is so much clutter. The backroom has no path to bathroom for the handicapped. There is dog food spilt every where which is a trip hazard.

Dollar General being ripped off

I was in the dollar General store in lepanto arkansas last Saturday. I was buying the buy one get two free on sandals. I made him explain it to me because he charged me 2.00 for one pair, 3.00 for another pair and 5.00 for another pair. He said that since the highest pair was 10.00 it broke it down that way. Then tonight when my husband took them back because they were too bug the reciept and rags were on the shoes instead of giving my husband the full 10.00 dollar refund he only gave him 5.00 refund. I should have been refunded the whole amount and now I'm pissed. Not to mention your pricing on your shelves are not matching the registrar prices. The store is always nasty and the friends being allowed to hang out behind the registrar. Along with the language and inappropriate conversations taking place. Several people are complaining and your looking business there too.

Dollar General unprofessional manager violating company policies

The manager at dollar general on 7th st parkersburg wv # 6325 is very rude and unprofessional to employees in front of customers and rude to customers, yelling and cursing at employees and customers. I am in this store several times a day and know the employees well. The leads bust there butts everyday trying to put stock away and make the store look good. I won't mention names but the 2 leads that have been there for a while are the best employees at the store, they are always helpful, friendly and do an awesome job with what they have to deal with they are very dedicated to there job and the one that closes at night all the time would work double if she could every week just to make the store! Took good and organized. The manager ryan is always on those girls downgrading them in front of everybody. Gets yelled at about everything in the store even stuff they don't do and those 2 are the best employees i've seen they should be making double there pay. While the manager is not professional the girls are apologizing for the managers behavior. The manager hired her husband's cousin and almost immediately up her in a management position with not experience and she can do no wrong with ryan, the other managers get yelled at for stuff she doesn't do while ryan always defends, her cause shes family. The assistant manager quit because of this favoritism and getting blamed for stuff ryan's cousin in law did. The manager immediately jumped her up in the assistant manager position within 5 months maybe of her working there with no experience, she's not a social friendly person, she's rude and customers don't like her. I hear them telling the other girls ilk the time about it.. She is not qualified for the position and is rude and unfriendly just like the manager, now the family runs the store and the best employees get [censor] on. That should not be allowed to happen and if it wasn't for the other great employees myself and a lot of others wouldn't shop there anymore and on top of that she expects them to get everything done she tells them to do which is impossible because its a busy store whether they work off the clock or not, they don't get a brake. Have to get customers out of store by 10 and be out by 15 after putting pressure on them cause she yells at them if there not, cutting back there time so they have to work off the clock, except the am she doesn't get in trouble for anything. She also says there late if there not clocked in at 5 min til everyday, yelling at the lead she's late in front of customers and she wasn't. She's expected to clock in early and lose those minutes so the manager can leave.. She also wants them to run in and cover for her while she has appointments without being paid. And go to bank. This manager should be terminated. I'm in this store a! Oat and I see a lot and this needs to be addressed. Thank you

Dollar General ignoring calls for employment/not calling about application

My fiancée applied for the Susanville Dollar General store about a week ago. She called just about every day to check on the status of the application. She was told repeatedly "We're getting it together and be calling people to let them know if we're interested or not. " Apparently this was a lie as they have yet to call back. She also just checked the website and it was shown as "No longer being considered" And they refuse to answer her calls.

It's a pathetic display. At least have the decency to tell her you aren't interested instead of giving her false hope. You're pathetic, your company is pathetic and your products are pathetic.

Dollar General dollar general conneaut lake!!!

I was in the store a couple days ago with my twin girls an we were shopping, they say all the toys an I knew from other store that they are having a buy 1 get 2 free sale so i asked and they said no we arnt doing that sale so we were walking around the store and my one daugther went up to the cashier an asked why they arnt having the sale and asked is all the other dollar generals better and with out hesitations the worker looks at me an asked if my daugther is stupid or just plain dumb I was so pissed off i said i will be calling your manager later and ill make sure u dont have a job tomorrow i mean seriously why would anyone called a child stupid or dumb especially right to her face! So i call the manager the next day an she tells me that I was wrong and that she doesnt believe me that her workers would never do that, so i told her that i will never shop here ever again and ill make sure that the whole crawford county knows how horrible this dollar general is and i swear I will, i wont stop till everyone knows how horrible they are and they lose all business!

Dollar General condition of the entire store.

I am making a complaint against our Dollar General the new one maybe two months old now and since day one it has been filthy. The old store was just as bad. They will bring products from the back totes and boxes and carts full of them and they block the aisles so we can't get to the product that we need so therefore we have to end up leaving and going across to Fred's who has them very very at fantastic store. Fred's manager make sure their stores clean the owls are always clear nothing's ever out of the way and every thirty two products are neatly on the Shelf constantly someone is always working the floor to make sure everything is put up in this right place. However Dollar General is not like that I mean their store is ridiculous and I know they don't clean the manager said she didn't get paid enough to do that and the other worker said it wasn't a part of their jobs they weren't doing it either says they pull the stuff out from back leave it in the aisle for at least a week and it's aggravating trying to go to a store and you can't get to any of the products. I know for a fact from working through Driveline that they have a meeting and I get together and clean the store the night before the district manager is to come in and check everything out cuz it's clean when they show up but as soon as I leave it ends. I have a few videos I'm going to post for y'all to see how nasty the store is thanks.
