Used this service for 6 years. Found out right before I closed my business that when I moved the business 3 years ago they never changed the monitoring address. Asked to change it 2 or 3 different times when I found out & had false alarm calls. Now my business is closed & they refuse to cancel my service. They say I am under contract. I have no business to monitor & no funds & they still refuse to cancel in spite of their error of monitoring the wrong business for 3 years.

yes, we have had the same problem in campbell river, bc canada. they have continued to charge my pensioned mothers account even though we cancelled more than 6 months ago. they should be ashamed & someone needs to stop them. i went with this company because the technician jumped ship to this company. i regret this as is appears now to be a scam. they have recently charged on an account they had no access to. i just noticed it. how did they do that? any helpers out there. internet needs to stay free for these reasons. checking up on con artists. hello! and thank you for any advice! we need it.

Counterforce accessing security panels.

Today, I was contacted by Counterforce for codes to access the alarm panel. Counterforce is or was an alarm monitoring company. Now it appears that they may want access to the panel for sales purposes e.g. looking up your hardware.

I am going to cancel my service with this company for this security violation.

We also moved and called to cancel and they wouldn't let us. We had been customers for 5 years. Apparently the contract renewed to a year to year contract instead of month to month. Had I known how unworkable they would be, I would have cancelled them years ago.

I have had the exact same experience! We moved from our former home & notified them in writing of the fact-- still had several months on the contract! They are now demanding an "early" cancellation fee! I just submitted the Company to the BBB.
