3. Reason you are complaining:
Myself as well as other homeowners have asked Colorado Management for detailed financial transaction sheets which they have refused to give us. They also voted to raise our HOA's when it can only be done once a year and that time has passed. Colorado management said that they had to have a 51% vote in order not to raise our associated dues. This is illegal because Colorado Management does not have and hasn't had a updated list or even a complete list of all the homeowners names and addresses, over 150 of these units are managed by management Companies. Over 60 homeowners went to their budget meeting and they refuse to have an answer as to why they haven't gotten bids for lower help and why they haven't tried to get our roofs fixed at the expense of the Insurance Company. Many homeowners including myself have emailed them and asked for answers and they never answer back or it they do they don't answer the question at hand. They comletely ignore everyone and this is getting to be bad news! We are the homeowners and we deserve answers!

Event: We sent a letter to Newt and the Board wanting answers and they refuse to answer us. Newt is mad about the 70 yr old man turnimg him in for not doing the paperwork by the deadline date so that he could get a reverse mortgage, now he is fine this old man for the curtains that he has had in his unit for over 20 yrs which isn't a violation we are responsible for what is in the inside of our units, this is what they do they ignore and retaliate. It is getting out of hand! here is a copy of the letter he refuses to answer! Please forward to board members:
1- How do you think that people can pay more money when we have all these foreclosures and the economy is so bad? THIS ONLY LEADS TO MORE FORECLOSURES!!! 2- We have given you many bids to have our labor around here done for alot less, and you refuse to look at the bids or get more ?Even when Randy told all the Homeowners in a newsletter that it was going to be done? IT DOESN'T APPEAR THAT YOU HAVE THE HOMEOWNERS BEST INTEREST AT HEART! 3- We told you and even had a roofing company come in who started to arbritrate with the Insurance Company to force them to get our roofs fixed and Newt got lazy and discontinued it the middle of it all. We have letters from two different roofing companies stating that this could be done and has to be in order to get the insurance companies to pay up!!! This would eleviate our expense for the roofs! We have the proof that Newt did not follow through but you refuse to believe that he does anything wrong even after the dyer vent scam! 4- I don't know who does your finances at home but you are all very scary! 5- As homeowners we deserve answers as to why all of these factors have been ignored! 6- We are getting pissed off and are going to take this to a court of law, so are you going to do the rignt thing by doing your jobs right or are you going to force more homewoners into foreclosure with a lawsuit on your hands? We have all of the documents from the last year and all of your meetings are just a bunch of babbling crap! 7- Why would board members want to hurt their own community? Is it because you are all getting kickbacks? You have left us to believe this with your actions! 8- We are homeowners and we deserve answers and if you refuse to answer this is another document that goes towards the lawsuit! 9- Bylaws state that you are past the time to do this for this year and you have to wait until next year! Article IV (e) To prepare a budget for the condominium at least sixty (60) days prior to the commencement of each fiscal year, in order to determine the amount of the common expense assessments payable by the unit owners to meet the common expenses of the condominium project, and allocate and assess such common expenses among the unit owners as set forth in the Declaration and by majority vote of the Board, to adjust, decrease or increase the amount of the monthly common expense assessments. To levy and collect special assessments whenever, in the opinion of the Board, it is necessary to do so in order to meet increased operating or maintenance expenses or costs, or additional capital expenses, or because of emergencies. WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS ILLEGAL YOU DON'T READ YOUR OWN BYLAWS!
They refuse to give 440 homeowners answers and are not held accountable for their actions, we have not had a treasurer present for over 3 months and all his duties are is to sign the checks that Newt Thorne hands to him! How stupid is this a bunch of idiots, lazy liars and cheats!
