Costco false advertising on windows

We been looking for Windows to replace in our home, we came to you on your store flyer, it says there is no charge for consultation if you live within 40 km of Costco whole ware house . I live with in 40 km from your north Edmonton store . In Redwater . As I called to set up getting all my windows done the lady went on to say there is a charge as I'm over 30 km away ., false advertising. I was very upset as we have been along time member .

Costco at&t

We like Costco and their prices but wanted you to know that the AT&T bundle deal for 89.99/month for two years with a $300 cash card is less than ideal. After signing up, we waited for 2 hours at the agreed upon time and no one showed up! I called to find out why and was on the phone for an hour with 5 diferent people, none of whom knew what had happened. Just wanted you to know what's going on with these folks and we're hoping to save someone else the frustration and disappointment that this caused. - Thanks, Gwen

P.S. We went into the store to talk to them, too, and no one knew what had happened there either but they said they would find out and call us. They never called.

Costco kirkland signature organic tortilla chips

What happened to the Regular Kirkland Signature Tortilla Chips? We live in Raton, New Mexico. The closest Costcos to us are the ones in Colorado Springs. On February 15th we went to the Nevada Costco on the north end of town. As part of our trip we went to stock up on Kirkland Signature Tortilla Chips and to our dismay there were no Kirkland Signature Tortilla Chips to be found only the low budget, made of cardboard, insult to corn, Kirkland Signature Organic Tortilla Chips. On a scale of one to 10, one being dog poop the Kirkland Signature Organic Tortilla Chips are a -3, which is fine. If people want to sell and by "worse than dog poop" organic tortilla chips they should have the freedom to do so. However...pulling the flavorful, crisp, tasty, Regular Kirkland Signature Tortilla Strips is communist. Why do you insist on swapping out your regular, tried and true, food products that your costumers have come to love and enjoy for only an organic option? What makes you think that everyone wants only organic options? All it does is make people mad and then they either stop buying the product at Costco or stop shopping at Costco all together. If we wanted only organic food we would shop at a whole food store. I have been shopping at cost for 20 year and my parents nearly 15 years before that. I grew up on Costco and believe you me your costumers don't like it when you do this only organic option crap. So do yourself and us a favor and bring back the non-organic options for your food products. At least if you insist you on offering organic food continue to offer the regular option and let the people make the choice instead of you guys assuming that everyone wants organic and making the choice for them. Please bring back the Regular Kirkland Signature Tortilla Chip Strips! Thanks for hearing me out. I look forward to having regular food again. -Jared Chatterley, Raton, New Mexico

Costco local store

I am writing this because I am appalled with Costco and their terrible service. Their employees are very rude and the worst thing is that their management don't really care. Last week my son went to one of Costco store and he was treated rudely and was literally kicked out of the store for something he did not do. Security guard decided to he saw that my son tried to steal something and after my son proved that he did not take anything he was still asked to leave the store. They did not even apologize!
Next day I went to the store and they refused to explain what happened. I then contacted Costco head office but they did not reply anything yet. I am extremely disappointed, these people are terrible and rude and highly unprofessional! Shame on you Costco!

Costco guard at costco d. c.in salt lake city

I just tried to drop off a load at 1500 03/14/17 and instead of having some semblance of of kindness she basically just told me to go eff myself. By far the rudest guard I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. I've never complained about a guard before, but this lady was truly horrible. I don't know how a woman could act that way to a total stranger, especially when I was nothing but nice. I have no doubt that this isn't the first complaint about her, nor the last.

Costco Customer service: "experience being "profiled" at costco"

Good Afternoon All!
Date of Incident: March 12, 2017

I was a loyal West Nashville Costco customer, honestly, I was loyal to the core! I truly couldn't say anything bad about Costco until today. Today, I was shopping for groceries like any other day and had a wonderful experience (like always) until I got to the register and was asked to see my drivers license, Costco card, and form of payments. Though I had never been asked these questions before I shared all my information. But was confused because my cashier Kathy didn't ask the 2 customers in front of me for their information. I started to feel extremely embarrassed as she proceeded to tell me that she needed managers approval. The manager Tammy came over and told me I couldn't purchase with any of the cards that I put on the counter (even though I know the pin). So I had $140.00 worth of groceries that I couldn't purchase because the card had my husbands name on it (which they said I need a power of attorney to purchase with his card, which, is not true because our accounts are linked) and the other card had my disabled neighbors name on it (I was trying to assist them by purchasing milk etc.). I then proceeded to use my card and the transaction wouldn't go through because I couldn't remember the PIN number. (I was so embarrassed because everyone was starring at me and feeling pressured I couldn't even focus.) I then purchased my food as credit but immediately decided, to return it all of the food because Kathy didn't ask the customers before or after me for their information. I was the only customer they treated this way. I went to customer service and returned my order and spoke to the manager Jess who I told what happened to me. Jess told me they had new rules from corporate and they had to enforce them. I understood that it was above her head, however, she told me that I wasn't profiled (now how would she know that if she wasn't standing in line with me?). I understand having new rules (and I don't mind abiding by those rules) and there is nothing wrong with that, however, when those rules only apply to a certain kind of customer there is something wrong with that picture. If the new rule is that only the Costco card member can purchase an order with a card with their name on it, then every customer in that line today should have been questioned and asked to see credentials (not just me)!

Costco executive membership

My wife and I have an executive membership with Costco. Our adult daughter who lives in the same household recently ran to Costco to pick up a few things for me as a favor because I was unable to go myself due to being out of town on business. At Costco check out in Sun Prairie Wisconsin my daughter was singled out by staff who treated her very disrespectfully, the staff member took my card from my daughter and threw it away. The reason given was that she was not on our executive membership which we were told that we were only allowed 2 membership cards and that if she wanted to make a purchase she would have to buy another membership. I will not buy another membership for the same household we all 3 live in. Asking us to do that is double dipping and I will not tollerate myself or my family being taken advantage of. Also after doing some quick research I found out that anyone weather being listed as a member or not who has a Costco gift card is welcome to come in at any time and make a purchase or online at Costco.com or if my daughter were to have paid in cash rather than with a debit card at checkout no questions would even be asked about the membership. The point im getting at is that the membership rules are extremely flawed and store employees are extremely misguided on how to treat good paying customers which in the long run will end up costing Costco big in lost revenue to competitors like Sams Club and others if Costco doesn't fix it's broken policy's on membership.

Costco cashier

I am a partner but d 15 years and never when I have paid I have arrogantly asked to see my debit card if it matches my ID, I see it totally stupid and discriminating because other people did not ask the same question. I just asked him why he asked me to check my Debit Card, and I immediately called his manager. People to if they fail the image of this prestigious Cia .. They can check for my ID, the name of the Cashier, the ompra I did it in Costco Norlake Florida.
I hope to receive news and apologies because they have offended me.

Costco poor customer support & awareness

On Tue March 7th @ 4:25 PM, I was a victim of a theft inside Heartland Mississauga Costco store. My handbag with all contents i.e. Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Home & Car Keys, Cell phone, Sun glasses, Make-up Kit; got stolen right from my shopping cart.

On reaching out to the Manager in Charge, the reaction was very casual and cold, to the extent that it was stated; such incidents i.e. robbery was happening across other Costco stores also.

If such incidents are routine, why then Costco does not have a "Warning Sign" on entrance alerting customers?

Why is it that Management is not taking such incidents happening inside its premises to customers seriously?

On incident occurrence, why is Costco not ringing an alarm or institute immediate measures to trap the culprit?

What is Costco doing to protect its customers?

Why is Costco not instituting measures to protect its customers who just want to shop and avail of the facilities available?

Why are there no cameras installed in the Stores?

In the absence of all of the above, it is an implied encouragement for such incidents to reoccur with no control.

We also came to know from our colleagues, that such incidents have been happening at other stores of Costco.

As long standing patrons of Costco, we now are instilled with fear and undue pressure when shopping at Costco.

I urge the Management to take up such incidents with utmost seriousness to ensure a safe shopping experience to all its customers.

Costco selling 4 defective and damaged michelin tires: pilot sport a/s +3

Title: Selling 4 defective and damaged Michelin Tires: Pilot Sport A/S 3+ ( 235/45ZR17 97Y XL BSW and misrepresentation of goods and services to Costco customers.

On March 22, 2017, at about 1:46 p.riveria. Fresno, California, Store # 657 Costco Tires Center Manager Louie Rivera who this complaint is against knowingly sold me 4 defective and damaged Michelin tires. After being telephoned at home I went to retrieve my vehicles and noticed thatthe 4th rear tires had a thickened gummy grey ash on the front side of the tire.I furthered examined the other 3 tires installed on the Acura at the same time and they all had the same gray gummy grey ash. I went back inside and Costco Technician Mateo went with me to where the Acura was parked. He examined all 4 tires and said he tried to wash the substance off with Windex and brake fluid but it would not come off and would come back after the washing. Mateo then said he would replace the 4th tire only since it was the worst. I told him all 4 tires were damaged and defective since whatever chemical that was used to make the tire caused the grey substance to rise to the surface of all 4 tires. I requested all 4 tires be removed and replaced because they were damaged goods and defective.
It was then employee Mateo stated me that the Manager Rivera had done this to another Costco female customer who also wanted the new grey Michelin tires that was gummy with ash removed and asked the tires be replaced right after being installed. He said Riveria refused to do it. Mateo stated to me that he was tired of being confronted by Costco customers who complained about the grey ash gummy tires.I asked to speak to Store Tire Manager Louie Rivera. I told him I refused to accept or drive the tires for safety reasons and laid my car keys and original receipt on the front desk inside the Costco Tire center.
Many customers saw and heard what was said and they didn't understand why this was happening to me. One was a California Santa Fe Railroad Police officer and the other was a California retired Correctional Officer with his wife. Mateo stated to me that he told Rivera on several occasions recently that the damaged tires should have never been accepted upon delivery and that the grey substance ash tires should have been sent back . I asked where the new tires for my car were at. While he went to to speak to Rivera i went and saw 4 new Michelin tires that didn't have the grey ash substance. In fact all the remaining tires didn't have the gummy grey ash on them. Rivera sold me the only defectives tires in the bunch. It was a conscious decision. There were 20 new tires of my tires that were not defective or damaged. Rivera refused to meet or speak with me. I picked 4 new tires out to show Mateo and have them installed.
I signed the new tires with Mateo's ink pen on the white sticker with my initials so the tires wouldn't be switched. I went to the door leading to the tire installation and opened it to listen and see to Mateo wheel the non damaged Michelin tires to be installed. I saw and heard Mateo confronting Rivera his manager in the work area about the defective tires stating to Rivera " I told you these tires should not have been sold" I told you to send them back. You shouldn't have accepted them at delivery". I heard and saw Rivera tell Mateo the i could only have one of the new tires since all of them were made in January of 2017...to take the other 3 back to the tire area. Mateo refused and installed the tires. I was at Costco tire center for about 2 hour and Rivera never spoke to me even though he saw me in the waiting area for customers.
The other customer witnessed this event and two were law enforcement and shook their heads saying i was right for refusing the tire. I am a 30 year retired Federal law Enforcement Officer and have never received this kind of treatment as a consumer or as a person. I told this to Mateo and another tire center employee who thanked me for my service to my country.
Note: I looked at the Pilot demo tire on the Tire rack and it was not defective and did not have the ash grey gummy substance that would not wash off. I had to go back a 3rd time to the Costco Tire Center to get my original receipt since it was not with the Costco Tire Purchase and record file. Thats when I saw a total of three different receipts with different information on it.
Mateo informed me that the tires had to be returned now.
Fresno Costco Tire center Manager Rivera should be removed and terminated for selling defective tires to public that he knew was damaged and defective for the safety of the consumer.

Costco costco citi visa

I have had the credit card for a few months now and have made some large payments so i could use the card on other purchase to get credit. However because i made these payment to quickly they have put a float on the payments. A float lasting 7 days, all the while they have taken the money out of my bank account. They say it is for safety reasons seems criminal to me. They also say they dont know my habits yet and it likely wont happen again. Well there right because once that goes through i am done. The visa customer service rep said only way to lift the float is to have the visa rep and my bank on the phone at the same time. A super inconvenience to a me trying to booking my anniversary trip. I can see a hold for a day or two but seven give me a break costco.

This needs to be resolved for others as for me my costco visa card is probably going to be canceled. I just want my money to post. I dont take it well when my hard earned money is taken from me and not put where i want it to go. As for now my money hangs out in cyberspace as a sit here. I joined the costco visa card because costco has always provided good services. I guess i was wrong because i have never had this happen with any other visa card provider.

I would like to dispute charges on card ending in 8412. I do not know the credit card number since I have never had this credit card in my possession.
I have been a Costco customer for years and when Costco offered the American Express Credit card, I got one and was satisfied with it. When Costco changed to Visa, I declined the card since I already had Visa cards. After declining the card, I received a statement from Citibank/Visa. I immediately contacted the service department at Costco and told him I had declined the Costco Visa card nor had I ever used a Costco Visa card. The person I talked to said it was no problem and he would take care of it. My understanding was that the phone call was recorded so I assume you can check your records and verify our conversation. I later received another statement with late fees, that I disregarded thinking the matter had been resolved. This month, I received another statement with more late fees. I called Costco again and they informed me that my account had been turned over to collections. I was transferred to the collections (in India?) where the lady (Stephanie)was nice but very difficult to understand. She conveyed to me that she could not access my records and she did not have the authority to take care of the matter so I would have to put the dispute in writing and fax the dispute to you …. which is what I am doing. To say that I am an unhappy Costco customer is to put it mildly. I am being charged on a credit card that I declined, never had in my possession, and never activated. I have been turned over to a collection agency for something I did not buy and subsequently it has been reported to the credit bureau as a blemish on my credit rating.
I have called Costco/Visa three times concerning this matter. You should have records of each call.
I would like to have this resolved as quickly as possible and this blemish taken off of my credit rating.

Costco old town photo albums

After getting our 1200+ travel shots printed, I asked where the photo albums were since they tend to move frequently. I was told Costco no longer carries photo albums. So you have photo centers and they make prints yet the photo albums you have sold for years are only available elsewhere online for exorbitant prices plus shipping. And upon checking with photo center reps I was told fewer people get prints these days, preferring to store their photos digitally, but they still make thousands of prints. And they get a LOT of complaints from customers who need photo albums. What's up?

I too would like to see them come back. That being said the 'leather' cover is starting to peel. Has anyone had this experience. Some covers are also becoming sticky over time …. sad :(

I go on vacation every year, print out photos and buy some albums at Costco. Last year I was told photo albums will be available around X'mas time. X'mas passed and still no albums. Then I was told photo albums were "seasonal". Since when did taking photos and buying albums became "seasonal"? Good grief...that is so lame.

Costco please bring back the Old Town Photo Albums!. The photo albums was extremely well made, and I love to store all my family memories in it. I love the quality and the price. I try looking every where for the same quality but could not find it anywhere else. I tried Michael's, Kohl, Walmart, Target but none can compare to the Costco album. I'm sure many like my self have experiences the frustration when Costco stop carrying these awesome photo albums. I'm hoping since the holiday seasons is coming up that they might bring back the albums.

I agree with all of the above comments. I loved the photo albums and need more. I currently have 18 albums full of pictures. I was very disappointed when Iearned that Costco no longer carries these awesome albums. Other online places only have them at a ridiculous price. Bummed! Now how will I store the memories of my family?

I want these albums! I have over 57 albums completed in our 38 years of marriage. There is nothing like sitting down and going through an album to bring back wonderful memories. My daughter had a baby boy and for the past 7 years we have compared her photos to his as he as grown up! The difference with digital is that you can take a whole lot more but just print the ones that are great! Costco...you broke my heart when you quite carrying these albums. There were high quality and I can tell you they have held up with lots of use :)

I have always gotten these albums from Costco. In the beginning they would give you 100 free pictures to be processed at their photo center. Then they did not offer the free pictures any longer, but since I only wanted the albums I was satisfied. Now they don't even offer these. I know other people who also get these, so Costco doesn't really care about the customer and what they want.

I am looking for those albums as well. Anyone find something similar to the Costco albums for a great price? This is horrible. Not EVERYONE wants photos digitally I like to have memories that I can view without a computer screen

Costco warehouse manager and assistant manager - laguna nigel

I recently went into your location first thing in the morning. I noticed your warehouse manager and assistant manager belittle their employees. The manager was a tall african/american guy holding a Starbucks and carrying a murse. He was yelling and screaming profanities at a women while his assistant looked on. I felt sorry for the poor women who was stocking the shelves. Perhaps, you should have your managers do the day to day jobs rather than sitting their acting like they are above others. I will never shop there again.

Costco reason why you keep changing out items.

I am interested to find out why you keep discontinuing items or replacing
them to the Kirkland brand. For instance, on my last visit to Costco Burbank
I wanted to purchase the Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice (pure Cranberry) only to find that you replaced it with Kirkland brand Cranberry cocktail. The second item I looked for the the Crest Pro Health mouth wash. That was replaced also. The third item was a chocolate bunt cake (not sure of brand) because I was told by one of the bakers that you no longer carry the chocolate but you do carry the lemon bunt. I've been buying this cake for years because it is so good only to find out that you aren't going to be carrying it any longer. This all happened on 3/1/2017. My Costco membership #[protected].

Costco employee complaint

The deli manager, crisandra deloney Hinton, at the Knoxville, TN warehouse has been engaging in a sexual relationship with a married hourly employee. She used her position to accomplish this, as her first attempts were denied. The affair started in August of 2016 and carried on until February 2017. She purchased him a whole new wardrobe, expensive gaming consoles, alcohol etc. Tried using her position to get him to leave his wife and family. When that failed and he tried distancing himself she began to stalk him on social media, including friending his family members to try to make contact again. There are rules against this kind of relationship, yet there have been no consequences for her actions. There's a reason there are rules and it seems Costco doesn't enforce their own policies.

Costco credit card rewards certificate

Hi,

I am a long time Costco member. I was disappointed to learn your warehouses cannot redeem the Costco Credit Card Rewards Certificate via mobile devices (3/5/17). I had the Rewards Certificate emailed to me so I can save on paper. Now I have to print out the gift certificate. I am not happy about the fact I can use my mobile phone to board an airplane, but I cannot use it to redeem my Costco Credit Card Rewards Certificate. Please let me know if you plan to add this convenience for your members in the future.

Costco erika, at costco optical on priest and elliot in tempe, az not fit for customer service

On Sunday, 03/05/2017, on Priest and Elliot in Tempe, AZ at about 10:15 am MST, I asked Erika, at the Optical Counter, "where are the selection of Men's Designer prescription glasses frames"?
Erika immediately became defensive and very aggressive with me. Her face got red. She said that I was lucky there were 2 choices for men, and that she has worked at this store for 17 years, and that Costco Optical, "does not have any other styles or designer frames for men in another other Costco location, nor online."
Erika leaned very close, literally getting in my face (my wife standing beside me was shocked) and told me, "if I didn't like it, I could go elsewhere". It was amazing how nasty and rude and condescending Erika’s tone was when she spoke to us.
I told Erika, that I really needed the replacement. I then selected 1 of 3 Men's choices in stock.
Erika refused to ring up my order. She asked me 4 times, "why aren't you going somewhere else?" I asked her to proceed with check out, she repeated, "Why aren't you going somewhere else?"
By this time a line was forming, Erika rolled her eyes at my wife and I and wrote up the order, never speaking a single word, and thrusting the receipt at my wife. Erika, didn't even tell us how long the replacement would take.
So I drove to Costco Optical in Chandler, where they had at least 1 dozen different selections of men's designer prescription glasses frames.
Number 1, I would like a pro-rate refund of my remaining membership fee. I have been a loyal customer of Costco since 1993. I have purchased designer frames from this store for 15 years, and I have always had a good selection. I will not spend my money for membership in a store that does not serve my gender--I am a man, and I expect a selection of Men's items. Since Costco Optical cannot provide Men’s selection, I no longer wish to do business with this location.
I would like my order send to the Chandler, Costco Optical, since the personnel is incredibly nasty at the Tempe Location.
Secondly, I will never enter into a physical location where such a nasty human being works. I do not want to be treated with passive-aggressive snarky condescension when I ask a simple question when I am spending hundreds of dollars with your company.
Thirdly, Erika lied to me. She said "these 3 frames are the only men's frames Costco Optical sells, not online, not at another store, I've worked here 17 years, and I know". This is blatantly unprofessional. This is also an act of misrepresentation, as obviously other Costco Optical locations have many choices of designer frames for Men, because I went there today, and I saw the selection in Costco Chandler.
I conclude that your employee, Erika, at the Tempe Location on Priest and Elliot Rd has some issue with men. The way she spoke to me with such contempt and aggressiveness, and refusing me service is a matter I take very seriously.

Costco racist sample server

On March 4, 2017, I went to Costco with my family and of course, with 2 little kids, they wanted samples! We go up to the cracker sample and because they're little kids, they take 2 each. They don't know any better and I'm trying to teach them but at that moment, the old white guy that was serving the sample says, "Wow, I guess this is expected of an Asian family." What the heck was that supposed to mean?! I am very disappointed with Costco and will not go back again. I wish that staff be taught basic manners and that old man to be fired. But, it's a shame I didn't get a good look at his name tag.

Costco mettawa #1074 photo center — worst experience 25901 riverwoods rd, mettawa, il 60045

Been refill my warehouse cartridge at this location about two years now.I have one refill cartridge didn't work.
The lady over the counter do not want to listen what happen to the refill ink cartridges .
My employee put it in one of the old envelop from Costco.She insisted I took the same cartridge back from last time they already exchange. --The first time have problem about one year ago.
I usually refill at less 2 or 4 at a time.But they don't use it all at one time.
Over two years of refill. Probably only happen twice the ink does work right. Totally 2 out of 20 .Both time happen to the yellow
This is how she talk to me.

"you want me to call the customer service to find out "--I am lying?
I went up to the customer service counter. They cannot help adjust the issue.They cannot help me print out the history how many times i been have the ink refill there.
After I left the store I was crying.iI just can't believe the way
I never once in my entire life have this experience
