Costco tire repair service

I dropped off my vehicle for a tire repair. My drivers side rear tire was flat and had a nail in it, needing repair. Christopher looked at tire and said it's repairable and should take about 2 hours to fix. I dropped off vehicle at 12:14pm. I go down street to a restaurant to wait the two hours for my tire repair to finish. I was told I would be contacted when car is ready for pickup. I don't get a call and around 4:00 pm I call and ask about my vehicle and when it'll be ready. I am informed that they pulled out the nail and there is no need for repair. I communicated that when I went to car this morning the rear drivers side tire was flat and that I think they are overlooking the repair and if they can look at it again. In addition I informed the person I did not get a call from them and he responds saying he tried calling me an hour earlier but I would answer. I asked if he left a voicemail and he said no he did not leave a voicemail. I checked my call log and there was no missed call from anyone, let alone Costco tire center. No voicemails either. I get a callback informing me that they indeed found a new nail and it was deeper in the tire and unrepairable. They did not mention anything about it being in another tire so I imagined that they were talking about the one tire I came in for repair. They inform me that I get a refund because they cannot fix tire. I arrive at the Costco tire center and first try to negotiate a new tire which they tell me they cannot negotiate anything. He says if I want they can install my spare if I have one. I say okay and inform them I just have to empty out my trunk to get the spare. I pull my car up to the front of garage but I don't pull into garage. I get out and an employee pulls my vehicle into the garage. He starts to take off the tire on the passenger side and I inform him it's actually the drivers side tire. He then says it's been a long day. He goes to drivers side and starts to take off the front drivers side tire and I inform him that it was the rear tire that was flat not the front. He responds saying the tires were rotated and that he is not going to rotate them again. I look at my rear tire and inform him that the tire weren't rotated and I know that for sure because the Goodyear tires were on the back when I dropped off vehicle for repair and they are still on back now. He again insisted that they did a tire rotation and at this point I start to think I'm being lied to and insulted because I know with 100% no doubt in my mind that the Goodyear tires were on back not front and that's the whole reason I asked for tires to be rotated to begin with when I dropped off vehicle. Xavier responds with "I am trying to be nice, so let's keep it that way". I let him know that I'm positive beyond doubt that the tires weren't rotated because the Goodyear's were on back when I dropped car off and they are still on back so there is no way they were rotated. He then starts to get condescending and confrontational in a very passive aggressive way. He keeps saying how he has had a long day and how he told me over the phone that I had two tires with nails in them. I was never told over the phone about two tires having nails in them. His remarks were very passive aggressive and I could see he was very frustrated. I tried to lever with him by saying, sir I work long hard days too and I have a wife and children so I get it. He responds by saying, " I didn't ask you about that". I tried to calmly talk to this person Xavier but he was clearly irritated with me. He called a supervisor as I heard him asking for one over the phone. I was not yelling at this man, or creating any kind of scene. I was simply questioning why I was being told tired were rotated when in fact they weren't. In addition I was questioning why the front tire was having spare put on when I came in for rear drivers side tire to be repaired. He tells me I can put my stuff in the car and essentially ignored everything I was asking of him. Super terrible customer service with zero professionalism and no communication skills at all. They shut the bay doors and I am sitting out from taking notes so I can file a complaint. I see the manager Dave and say "excuse me sir". He defensively says yea what's up! I ask if he is manager and he says yes. Before I can even explain myself he says well my guy told my you were rude and you've been drinking and had bad behavior. I responded calmly but firmly by asking who I can speak with that is a manager and how I can escalate this complaint. He ignores that request and asked what I'm bothered about. I asked him again for a name of number of how I can escalate the situation to a superior and he again ignores me asking what the problem is and telling me he is the manager and he will be the one to speak with. I start to explain to him the issue and he responds with telling me they rotated my tires and I'm all upset and having bad behavior and that I've been drinking and his guy had to call him. I informed him that I had been waiting since 1 pm or before that and I was told my tire repair wouldn't be an issue. I told him how my tires weren't rotated and I was being lied to and he responds that I wasn't being lied to. I told him I am being lied to because I have pictures of my car and I know for a fact the Goodyear tires are still on the back where they were when I dropped of vehicle. In addition I was talking calmly but in a concerned manner to Xavier but I did not raise my voice, did not use any profanity and did not act the way he was describing. In addition I called him out on trying to call me out on the fact I had been drinking. I've been waiting at a restaurant for 5 hours because they couldn't call me or notify me. Further more I intentionally brought my car here but had I know this was going to happen I wouldn't skipped Costco and taken car to a different tire shop and gotten a cheap tire. Now I have my spare on which I didn't want that's why I came to Costco and in addition it's on the front when it was the rear tire that went flat. The rear Goodyear tire went flat, not the front different named tire. We go back and fourth for a little while and after he sees how serious I am he starts to maybe understand that I wasn't being belligerent are unreasonable with him employee Xavier and that just maybe Xavier lacked the people skills to deal with me.
After this awful situation, being humiliated by a front line employee and then a supervisor I won't be returning to this Costco and possibly any Costco. The fact that they felt comfortable enough to call me out and say well you were rude and you've been drinking is beyond unprofessional. The truth is I had two beers at the restaurant. I've been there since 1pm and now it's past 6pm. That doesn't constitute for being drunk and trying to humiliate because you smelled alcohol is just plain wrong. How about they answer the questions about my car I am asking and do the right thing instead of dodge responsibility. Dave did inform me that the tires weren't rotated because the best tires stay on the back. I was never informed of that, I was told the tires were rotated. There is no way around it, they lied to me. You can twist it however you want but a lie is a lie. They should have been honest and said the tires weren't rotated because the best ones go on back and they were already on the back. Instead they lied, so I am guessing maybe some sort of miscommunication between the employees and maybe Xavier that they truly were rotated because he didn't do the work. Either way he was completely unprofessional in his dealing with me and the fact that he calls a supervisor and tries to turn it on my blaming me for drinking, insinuating I'm drunk or something just lost you a customer. If I could have forcated this treatment I would have saved myself the hassle and gone to a small tire shop. The last thing I want to say is the rear Goodyear is the one that went flat. That's not the tire that was switched out for the spare. I'm going to be extremely disappointed if I wake up and my rear tire is flat but the tire sitting in my back seat is still full of air. That will again prove my point that the tore that really needed changing was neglected and causing me extra time when I'm on my way to work. This may all seem like a big nothing to Costco however you have a serious integrity issue on your hands. You've got employees doing their job wrong, humiliating customers the. Calling supervisors and not taking responsibility for anything. Acting as if they didn't do or say anything to escalate a situation that could of easily been de escalated by simply explaining that the tires were rotated because the best ones are on the back. Furthermore when he says we told you there were two tires with nails in them and I respond that I was never informed of two tires having nails, he should of believed me and at that point explained that sorry for the misunderstanding but I have two tires with nails in them. None of this was explained and when I tried to inquire I was insulted because I had a beer or two while waiting for 5 hours to get a tire repair. So unprofessional, mean and nasty that I'm willing to take the time out of my Sunday evening to write this email. I'm not intoxicated, I wasn't acting belligerent, I did not yell, raise my voice, name call or act in anyway that could cause this reaction. I want to speak with a general manager over the phone so I can provide my side and give full details. If I am not allowed to share my experience then I most certainly will not be returning to Costco and I just paid to renewed my membership last month but I'm willing to not shop here any longer after the hassle I was put through. There was definitely lies and mistakes made on the employees part and I would appreciate some sort of responsibility and accountability from Costco. Thank you for taking the time to read my email.
Kind Regards,

Costco foster farm chicken thighs with bone

To whom it may concern,

I love Costco, the deals it provides for customers, as well as the wages and benefits it provides to its employees. I usually have zero complaints, however I wanted to bring up one issue that arose today. A pack of Foster Farm chicken thighs with bones had a cut in the bag, resulting in chicken blood and juice getting all over my car, my clothes when I removed the box it was in from the car, as well as all of the products packed in the same box.

I am writing to ask that you please be conscientious about the food safety of you product packaging. As Salmonella is prevalent in poultry products, it is a health hazard to have the juices leaking. Furthermore, it creates a time-consuming mess for costumers to deal with.

Thank you for taking the time to read this comment.

Best,
Chris Knight

Costco employee/service

I've been going to the Costco I'm Edison, NJ for years and have never had such negative and disturbing experience. As I was unloading my cart and trying to help the cashier and helper, the helper "Pauline" said something about loading the items. I didn't really hear her or knew she was talking to me so I continued to unload the smaller items from the cart. However, it was then when I heard her question and make the comment "what you don't know English". I asked her "what was that again" and then she decided to ignore me. As somebody from a Latina/o background this was a very disturbing and frustrating experience and things to hear. I spoke to one of the managers regarding this incident and hope that this employee gains a little more training and knowledge about cultural sensitivity and respect.

Costco photo service department, boughton road, bolingbrook, il

10/24/2018 at 1:15 pm I stood for over 5 minutes waiting for the male customer service rep at the Photo Dept to get off the phone. There was no eye contact and the rep made no effort to look my way despite trying to move into his view. I then went to the store customer service desk and waited in line for maybe another 5-6 minutes to explaine my frustration. I was then directed to accompany a customer service gentleman over to the Photo Department where the person was still on the phone. Even the customer service gentleman was unable to get his attention and we stood together at the desk for maybe another 5 minutes. Finally my customer service gentleman advocate spoke angrily to him and he got off the phone. When the service rep came over to wait on me there was no apology or explanation for what amounted to a 15-20 minute delay. This is terrible service and customers should not have to tolerate such treatment from any organization.

Costco food court.

I purchased a pizza and they told me when my number was called to go the window to pick it up. My number was called so I went to the window and there was a line so I nicely excused myself with the other ladies in front explaining that my number has just been called. This is what other customers were doing and I have done for over 10 years. An employee by the named of Rachel rudely told me that there was a line and continued to berate me about how there are other customers waiting. She had a very bad attitude about it and could have nicely told me to get in line. I, in no way, was hostile or arguing back with her. I had a simple misunderstanding and I felt humiliated.

Costco cashiers - jericho & scott

I had misplaced the membership id and asked if there were any other ways to verify membership such as a name lookup.

I was completely ignored and the next person was told to go around me. I asked for an explanation and was disregarded completely. (10.24.18 @ 10:40am)

I do not pay $120 a year, or $600 every month to be treated in such a disrespectful way.

Costco pre cooked enchilada meal

Well there's not a whole lot to complain about your company. I have shopped there forever and you have always treated me right. I usually would just let this one slip, But I have to share it. It is very peculiar to me in general and no one in the family is interested in this meal, thank god I made tacos to go with it🙃 otherwise they would have starved (or maybe been forced to eat it)... at first I thght it was just my portion that was mistakenly overdosed with chicken, until my aunt made a comment the next day. It was as if someone put a whole layer of whole chicken in the dish takes up more than half the dish. I wish you could have experienced it yourself. And I hope I am the only complaint. Maybe someone got lazy to mix or layer properly but this is crazy if you ask me, needless to say no one wants leftovers either.

Costco uni-ball signo

You used to sell a large package of uni-ball vision elite pens. They were great! Now you only sell the uni-ball signo. They are terrible! The ink does not flow consistently and smoothly in contrast to the vision elite pens. Please discontinue the sigmo pens and resume selling the uniball vision elite pens! When I use the sigmo pens, the ink flow is very inconsistent.

Costco membership policy

Over two years ago, my adult drug addicted son, unknowingly to me, stole my company Costco Membership card with my name on it and used it to purchase items at Costco in both Goleta, CA and Oxnard, CA.

When I attempted to make a purchase I discovered my account was on hold due to the NSF activity, but I was able to convince the Oxnard store supervisor, Tina, to override the transaction and to give me a temporary authorization for future purchases.

As an employee benefit I had several employees on my Costco business account therefore, when renewal came in March 2018, I paid off the NSF so I could renew only to discover in October that although Costco willingly took my fees, my ability to purchase had been terminated due to the NSF in Goleta.

I had gone to Goleta two years ago to plead my case as I had in Oxnard but was told their hands were tied as the case was being reviewed by the District Attorney. So I left thinking there was nothing more I could do until the Santa Barbara County filed a warrant for my son's arrest and he paid restitution.

Meanwhile, in Oxnard this past week, my purchase was refused and I was treated as the criminal because I hadn't filed a police report in Santa Barbara. There was no reason for me to file a police report. The card stolen card had expired. I had an activated account. My employees had their benefit. Why file a police report?

In August I closed my business. I no longer have employees. I no longer need Costco. I have Winco, Sam's Club, Walmart, Sprouts, Whole Foods, Ralphs and Vons to choose from and, it is obvious, Costco no longer needs me.

But I want a refund for my Membership Fees for the remainder of the year, from July 2018, when the authorization to purchase expired to my renewal date in March.

Tina and the Oxnard store manager confiscated my membership card and the signed authorization to shop so I cannot provide you with my membership number. However, my name is Michael Paul Robinson. The company name is Quality Landscape Care. My phone number is 805.207.4243.

I hope hear from someone promptly.

Costco fresh kirkland chicken breasts

On my last few purchases of the fresh packaged chicken breasts at least half of the package contains breastmeat with white lines. These breast when cutting the meat raw have a rubbery texture, and when cooked the meat is rubbery and completely inedible, it almost has an uncooked texture! I read somewhere online this problem with the chicken is called woody breast. Obviously quality control has gone way down Kirkland products were considered as good or better than premium. Costco please step up your game. Also I've been a loyal Costco shopper for many years since it was Price Club. On a side note your eggs are also a problem the shells are paper thin what's the deal with that?

Costco kirkland brand hard boiled eggs

The smell of the hard boiled eggs is putred and whatever preservatives (I'm guessing) is in the eggs, it makes the white part of the eggs mushy, disgusting and terrible tasting! Please, please, please go back to the former brand. I have been buying the eggs for a long time and absolutely refuse to spend a dime on the Kirkland brand. HORRIBLE and they can't be healthy for you.

There are numerous complaints online about the eggs. Please listen to your customers and go back to the former brand.

Thank you for listening.

Costco dave's bread

Would you please sell the THIN-SLICED version of Dave's Bread? I love Costco and I love Dave's Bread, but the Dave's Bread slices you sell are too thick and I have to drive to Publix to find it. Just a request. Otherwise, a great store, nice employees, and easy returns when necessary.

I go to the Lantana store in Florida on Lantana.

This is not really a complaint just a request and I couldn't find anywhere to put in a request and I assume that the store managers cannot decide what they are to sell.

Costco warehouse

Hello,

I am seeing a pattern of gender inequality that will create issues in the near future.
There are far too many women being hired and men turned away, or ignored.
I have five grandsons and a granddaughter, and three boys had not secured summer jobs (one applied at Costco), because society is trying to wrong the right by excluding young
or older while males. This will create a backlast that we should avoid. This precident can swing backwards as well.
It seems that advertising, even on your magazines promotes children and women. I'm sure there is something that appeals to boys. Even your customer service first page fetures two women.
Men are invisible.

I am writing to all large businesses to show them that this has not gone unnoticed.
Can you please try and make jobs available to who best suits them, devoid of gender, or hire as many white males as well as females.
I'm sure that not only women qualify!

I have a shared Costco membership that I purchase for my son and I. I will go elsewhere for my shopping, if need be.
Also, I have friends that have noticed the same, so we will band together and do what is necessary to safeguard our young and older
men.

I trust you will do what is best for society, which includes ALL and not the ones that cry the loudest.
I write because I know its a difficult situation to be in, but look as well to the ones also being affected by this. Our sons are also our future
and they feel they are paying a price for the generations who went before them. It is now for all of us to be inclusive of all.

Sincerely,

Costco discontinuance of kirkland organic green juice

This is is no longer available at Costco. Why was this item discontinued? It's a great product. Please restock this item. I'm a longtime and loyal executive member. I live in San Francisco and shop at Costco in San Francisco, South San Francisco, and Airport, and Foster CA.

I have digestive problems and this particular juice has helped me tremendously. I have seen many comments online regarding Costco's discontinuance of this great Kirkland Signature Greens Juice.

Costco outside food stand

On Oct. 4 I finally remembered that one can call ahead to the Outside Food Stand when placing a large order. I called to have pizza ready at 4pm at Costco Fountain Valley. I usually order 4-5 pizzas which is about a 20-25 min. wait if I order at the window.

When I arrived to pick up, I went directly to the pick up window only to be notified that I would have to pay first which meant standing in line behind 20 people, a 20 min. line. I asked if he could take my credit card at the pick up window and Vincent insisted I could not; I had to get in line. And so what is the point of calling ahead?

I always thought this was an outside Vendor but as I waited in line, missing the start of my meeting, I saw that Costco Signature was on every food poster. I've been shopping at Costco for about 30 years, at least and I've always considered Costco to run their operations in a professional manner. I do not believe management would be pleased to know this is going on. It is completely ignorant to have people call ahead for pizza to be ready only to tell them they have to stand in line behind 20 people (when it's busy ) to pick up their pizza already waiting. This meant that my pizza had sat for 30 minutes by the time I got it.

I submit this to you for the sake of others who may not find the time to alert you that this is going on. Maybe it was just about Vincent working there that day. I do understand that people handling food are not supposed to handle money, but the person in charge needs to direct the person picking up food to go to the front of the line to pay; otherwise the whole point in calling ahead is pointless.

Desirable Resolution? I have only been ordering pizza for large groups for the last 2 years. I finally am remembering to call ahead. But if I can't have the pizza at the time I've said I'd pick it up, then I pretty much need to work with another pizza company. I hate to do this because everyone likes your pizza. I guess I feel I'm owed a reimbursement for cold pizza! I had ordered 5 pizzas: 2 combo, 1 pepperoni, 2 cheese.

Costco kirkland generic of claritin-d 12 hour.

I live in Puerto Rico and have been trying to find and buy the Kirkland Generic Claritin D-12 hr at the Costco nearest to my home. I have tried for 2-3 months and the Pharmacy Department at that particular Costco never have the Kirkland Brand. The Costco nearest me is on: Carr. 177 Esq Calle 2, Bayamon, Puerto Rico. I have severe sinus allergy because of the Puerto Rico climate of tropical rains, fungus and pollen all year round. My only relief are the allergy pills of 12 hours. I am forced to buy the original Claritin D-12 hour which is always too expensive. Living on Social Security I have a strict budget and I always try to buy Kirkland brands to save some money. Please advise why the pharmacy at this particular Costco never have Kirkland Claritin D-12 hr.

Costco product doesn't match product label

I bought apples from Chantilly, VA costco on 9/30/2018 and just found the apples is NOT what the labels indicated!

The label says the apple is "ginger apple", but it is something else although the appearance (size, color) are exactly the same. Real ginger apples are soft and easy to peal and cut. But these sold in above Costco is totally different!
