Costco Racial profiling against the new migrant asian community in qld

After I received notice of membership cancelation for my new migrant asian wife from him.

Thanks for the below email and the attached letter.
On saturday I was called by my wife (Who was very distress) to visit her at costco saying your staff snatch her membership card from her hand at the checkout and as your staff walked away told my wife she had been a “bad girl”!, so her card is going to be cancelled, she is not a girl! So you can understand why she reacted the way she did.
However I am perplex as to the sudden change of mind after the resolved conversation with pete on saturday.

No, I will not be cancelling my card,
Unless I hear from you within 24 hours addressing the below my company will be seeking legal advice for the following reasons
• costco has failed to properly inform all its members of its policy of blocking their card if they exceed in their purchase of limited items, this block is carried out by stealth and targets predominantly members of the chinese community since they are the buyers of 90% of the product in question (Granohlaah).
• as a non-asian I and my non-asian colleagues have purchased this product to its full limit on several occasions and had never had our cards blocked, yet my new migrant asian wife with many other asians had their card blocked without notice.
• this proves costo is racial profiling against the new migrant asian community.
• pete mentioned their was a signed at the entrance highlighting the block card policy in engliish. I read no such rules at the entrance.
• but here’s the problem, like many mainland chinse my wife cannot read and understand english very well and would be unable to read and process any notices unless it had a translation in their own language. But yet costco has failed them by not providing information in their own language yet panelises them when they cannot understand the rules in english. And when you have staff that has absolutely no cultural sensitivity and are very arrogant you have a recipe for disaster which as now happened.

Pete agreed I should explain to my wife “the block card rules”, I did and she as accepted it, and now by your email I truly understand racial profiling culture at costco.

Costco resvibrant

I was online checking Costco site when message popped up that I had won a free gift from Costco, all I had to do was pay shipping. Being familiar with these kind of scams I ''claimed" my free gift and checked online to see what it was all about. Sure enough it was another lotion scam, I called 3 days after receiving in mail to cancel, today is the 16th, I was told I couldn't cancel until the 18th. He told me I would not be charged until the 18th. Now I have to call again tomorrow (17th) and try again. Why the heck could I not cancel today? the card I used doesn't have enough funds to clear whatever they are going to try to get from me, so I am not too worried but I see that they have been charging people before their trial period has expired. He told me I have a few more days of trying the product, even though I told him I was allergic, he didn't seem to understand. why would they not accept my cancellation? If they try to get money from me after this I will be really angry.

Costco computer order number [protected]

Ordered a computer on Nov 26 and I have still not received it . We are the Dec 16
Website stipulates 5 to 10 business days when placing order.
I am very disappointed with the solution I got from customer service.
" Oh well Sir you have the option to cancel your order if you wish to "
Now what an answer is that when I ordered a computer from your website and now I am to late to take advantage of all the Cyber discounts ( for Christmas ) Cyber Monday and Etc ) that slipped my fingers because I had originally placed my order with Costco.
REALLY UNACCEPTABLE
I will never place another order with Costco online ever again .
I strongly believe SAM ( WALMART ) is a way better option for Online Ordering .

Costco gas quality

Gas at Kalamazoo Costco is inferior quality in comparison with other Costco locations.

Burns faster and creates vehicle performance issues. When I fill up at Costco locations in Grand Rapids or Ann Arbor there is a noticeable difference in the quality (better fuel efficiency) and my vehicles performance (RPM surges are eliminated).

What's in the gas at KZoo Costco? I will forgo buying gas from this location and return to buying Shell until further notice. A shame because the reduced gas prices are benefits of membership.
Hopefully the gas is inspected.

Costco kirkland water 16.9 cases m7

I accompanied my wife shopping on 12/03/16 a Saturday at approximately 6pm.The Kirkland water cases were on pallets on the second level in the water aisle.Many people wanted water also purchased the cases of deer park water.I refused since I saw they were not out of stock just out of reach.I asked a few workers walking around many said they will call the person who will be able to help. While I waited my wife went to the front and asked for assistance. The manager was swamped.I waited almost 40 minutes before someone came to move the pallets blocking the water. Then putting a couple of pallets down .No apology was given which to me is poor Customer Service. If my time is not important maybe to Costco. I just might take my time and shop elsewhere
I will reconsider shopping next time at Costco Customer Service was poor.

Costco kirkland energy shot choking hazard

I summited a complaint 6 months ago and all I received was an automated reply:

The complaint has to with the cap liner on Energy Shot bottles that stays on the bottle opening after the cap is removed. It usually occurs on the "Orange" flavor for some reason. Anyway, if one removes the cap and drinks from the bottle without looking, the liner ends up in the mouth! I nearly choked on it the first time this happened. I am more careful now, but I can see this as being a serious problem unless the problem is resolved soon.
Six months later, nothing has changed.

Costco re: rjudy op# 134

While shopping at the Lakewood Center #1050 with my mother, upon check out we were rudely handled by the cashier Judy. We were attempting to purchase the total blender. After the item was rung up my mother told me that she would rather pay for it than me, only as a gift. So when she swiped her card Judy said to me, I have to see her Costco card. Judy had my Costco card because I was the one making the purchase. My mother came to live with me recently after my father's death. I gave her my extra one that my husband had, which he rarely uses.
Judy told me it did not matter whether I have my card or not she had to have her card so I told her that I had given my mother my husband's car why would that not be okay since I was the one paying for all the rest of the items she just wanted to pay for one of them. Judy said that the store would not allow my mother to swipe her card in payment of that one item for me. So I used my cash to pay for that item and my mother gave me an additional amount of cash with Judy seem to have no problem with.
While it may be the store's policy not to allow Outsiders to purchase items from Costco I am not an outsider and have been a Costco member for a couple years. I am appalled that Judy felt the need to loudly exclaim this situation to all the rest of the customers in earshot and to rudely continue to resist my mom paying with her card but she accepted her cash. The hypocrisy is amazing. I have no problem following the rules but that goes beyond the pale. To Costco's credit I've never encountered any other treatment as bad as that typically I am helped in a very professional manner.

Costco sweet potato pie incident

This message below deals with the Costco located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The address is 1830 Reservoir Street Harrisonburg, VA [protected]. I noticed that directly before Thanksgiving you had Sweet Potato Pie and Pumpkin Pie. I went into your store the day before Thanksgiving and purchased the LAST Sweet Potato Pie (MANY more Pumpkin Pies were on the shelf and unloaded as well). After Thanksgiving I went in and some more were made, I purchased 2 more. To my eyes it appeared they kept selling them. So a couple days ago I went back in to purchase more. They were out and I was told that more would be made the following day. The following day I found out that they would not be making any more and a manager went out of his way to take a bunch of them and throw them away due to them not being sold quick enough. They still make Pumpkin Pie though... How stupid! Not discounted, not donated, heck not even sold until the expiration. Had I known he would recklessly throw food away I would have considered buying them in bulk. Although found out that the supplies needed to make more are there they refuse to make more. I pay for a membership here. This makes me feel that they do not CARE or try to accommodate their African American customers or customers of other cultures. I do not eat Pumpkin Pie like Caucasians do during the holidays. I am VERY unhappy with Costco right now.

Costco washer replacement

I bought washer and was delivered on Dec 2. The door latch was broken so the delivery guys took it back and said we will have a new washer the next day. That was the reason why we let them took our old working washer/dryer away. It's been 2 weeks now with many phone calls and costco representative said it'll take at least another 2 weeks.

We have a 2 year old toddler and needing to do laundry ever other day. The closest one is 7 miles away. It was very inconvenient and time consuming. We'd discussed with costco for loaner the they were not very helpful.

Costco mold in food

I purchased big bag of Sun West rice little over a month ago from Cypress, CA store. After half way throught the rice I found a big ball of black fungus bigger than a fist inside. Rest of the rice were clean so I thought it was a mouse at first. I was really upset because my 4 kids, 10-2 years old, and I were eating this for over a month. Couple of my younger kids and I were having diarrhea frequently over a month with bad allergies. I could not figure out why until I took the sample to a labatory and found out had abundant amount of 7 different types of hazardous black fungus. My lawyer friends were telling me to get a doctors note and get a mold lawyer but I really hate lawyers because of previous bad experiences. I was so upset I wanted to post on line and make a big deal about it but I admit Costco has one of the best quality product. Can you see what you could do for settlement for our pain and suffering so I don't have to deal with legal headache which I don't want right now?

Costco Iphone 6S plus purchase

HI,

I Purchase an IPhone 6S plus on August 26th under a promotional offer for Tmobile customers. The promotional offer was as follows:
Trade in Iphone 5 for 300$ credit when you buy iphone 6(any variant).

I havent recieved the credit either from Tmobile or Costco. No one is taking responsibility for the same.
Costco execs at Paradise Valley Mall Phoenix did submit some exception in their system a month ago but i get no response on multiple followups.
Phone was purchased for # [protected].

I want the 300$ credit or my traded iphone 5 back.

Costco citibank card

The Citi card is outrageous. I have been charged over $115 in late fees and interest fees and I barely ever use the card. When bill arrives we have 2 weeks for them to receive the payment or they add huge fees. I despise this card and will never use again. Last month I spent $20 on gas and they charged me $24.95 late charge as payment one minute late.

This is a terrible card!
My LL Bean Visa Crd through Barclaycard has annual percentage rate of 10.24%. Citi Anywhere Visa is 29.49%

Please ditch this awful credit card. Getting a few dollars back is not worth their outrageous charges!

Costco pirelli tires

I am a customer of Costco, I have an Executive Membership, I was looking for all season tires in February 2016, The sales rep was very helpful and thorough, the choices came down to 3 Tires Brands, the sales associate suggested the Pirelli's which was one step down from the Michelines. I paid for them waited 2 weeks, had them installed and was quite happy.
Fast forward, l have my tires regularly rotated, tire pressure checked all at Costco.
Sooo Imagine my surprise !, when l went in for my routine rotation, and when l arrive to pick it up after leaving it for 2 hours, l was told, there's no point, since you have to change your tires right away.
My immediate response was, how is that possible? I was told that your tires are smooth (Bald) it was even pointed out to me... I replied l just bought tires this year...after checking it was confirmed and l had just barely reached 30, 000.00 KL. The associate was more shocked that l was, immediately said, there has to be a problem with the Pirelli's, we will definitely have to order you brand new ones at NO Charge, because clearly there is a problem. The Service Assoc said that l would be given the Costco Agreement full refund, because clearly the tires were defective.

An order was was placed, I came in made an appointment and brought the car in as scheduled.
2.5 hours later, I arrived to pick up my car with my new tires and was given the run around at the desk, the the service Manager came and told me l had a bill for $ 470.00 cdn for my new tires, i was shocked, when l protested, he said they were prorated and that this was the procedure, after paying relunctantly, since l had to go to work, I read the paperwork only to then realize that l no longer had pirelli's on my car but instead a lower quality and priced Bridgestone tire, I was furious, , i was then told that Pirelli's are no good for my car, so l asked why were they recommended and sold to me in the first place? I am sooooo Mad.

Further more if my tires were being replaced with any other tire than what was previously on the car, l should have been informed and given the option, especially since l was expected to pay for them .
Resolution,
I want a full refund...of the money l paid, and i want either my pirelli's put back on my car or Michelins, I don't want Bridgestone tires at all.

Costco i am complaint about the service

I went to Costco Store at 28595 Hesperian Blvd, Hayward, CA 94545 12th Dec 2016 at 19:13pm for my last minute Christmas shopping, the lady at the exit had my receipt in hand and before checking anything in my shopping cart, she asked to open my backpack that placed in the cart and asked my to open it to check my bag. I was shocked and embarrassed as everyone around looked at me. I talked to the manager on duty afterward as I could understand why I was the only one in line that need to check my backpack? There are other customers that carrying handbag, shopping bag or baby stroller and the lady never inspect their bags or stroller but mine. She explained she was trying to do her job but obvious she treat every customer differently. I feel insulted and the manager on duty was not apologetic and as I spoke with the manager, the lady was not checking anyone else's bag. This is not the customer service a store should provide, if you have a check bag policy, the company should treat everyone equally.

Costco your supposed "free" premiums for taking costco surveys

I am a senior with not a lot of computer knowledge and I took your survey and registered for the "Free" premiums as a result. I feel that they are come ons because they are not free (they just deducted in excess of $141. from my account for the "Free" product. Let me say that my experience with Costco and your surveys is not good, I feel that Costco is involved in taking advantage of people with these offers. The company said that they printed in a bottom corner that you had to cancel within 14 days and I just barely got the order a few days before the 14 days was up, besides if it was supposed to be "free", I shouldn't have had to pay for it anyway (that doesn't give you much time to try the product even if you knew or understood the 14 day cancellation). I took the survey on November 27th and actually took two different the surveys. with different premiums and both deducted their money yesterday between the two of them they took about $241 and put me into overdraft at the bank. I feel that you are misrepresenting surveys to your customers and indicating that the premiums are "free" for taking the survey, when they are not! I feel totally used by Costco. Costco complaints an cashier

Here is my story: I selected my stuff and waited for a long line to pay, and I hold my husband Costco card. When it came to me, she said my card is not valid, but I remembered that we had renewed card this year. So I said we should have card, could you please give me some time to contact my husband and leave our stuff aside let other people to pay first? She said NO! She said you should renew your card, and we do not hold any stuff. She also said that the card is not mine, I should not use it. I explained to her, that is my husband card, our family only have one card. She is very rude and said she will let people to put our stuff into their original place. I called my husband to membership center to check out what is going on. The staff there is very nice and helpful. They said my husband card changed under his business name, so they helped him to get the information updated. After this, he came to the cashier and want to pay the stuff. So we find our cart, and asked cashier can we pay? The cashier said no, we should get into line again! We feel so bad, and asked a supervisor, she said the cashier can check out for our stuff. Finally, the Cashier checked out our stuff. I am not sure she is racist due to we are Asian or what! Why she have such a bad attitude toward us. I really unsatisfied with her attitude. I think she should be nice to everyone.

Costco gloria vanderbilt amanda jeans chemical odor

I purchased a pair of Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans in a size 12 short. It smelled of a chemical odor, so I washed it. Still smelled so I returned it and purchased another pair.
In the store I thought I'd wash this pair, too, that it didn't seem so bad. But the smell is so strong it gives me a headache. I will not wash it. I plan to return it.
If you could send me a pair without the offensive odor, I would appreciate it. Please send it to the Ann Arbor, MI store and I will purchase at courtesy desk.

Costco difficulty in opening milk cartons.

The gallon cans of low fat milk have a cap which can only be opened with a large wrench or specially designed opening tool. We have noticed a cycling of difficulty in the past months. Perhaps a year ago these covers were as impossible to open as they are now in November and December from our Costco in Kalamazoo MI. There was a period which the caps were appropriately tight in the summer months, but the ridiculously tight cans have returned in the past few weeks. Our milk has a sell by DEC14Plant #39-13 10:10 FLR2. It is absolutely crazy how difficult these caps are tightly twisted on.

Costco Scam rebates

On September 1st, 2016 I stop by the Verizon wireless booth located inside of the COSTCO warehouse, physical location: 4849 NE 138th Ave Portland, OR [protected]. The sales agent told that if I will sign up with the Verizon and will purchase a cell phone today, than I will receive a reimbursement in the amount of $225.00 within 14 weeks from the purchase. I did like the deal and purchased two Apple iPone SE 64GB devices. The sales agent also provided a link to claim my refunds. I came home and entered all required information into the provided website to claim for the $225.00 x 2 COSTCO cash card. On next day I received a conformation. No customer support telephone number was provided. I was continuously checking for the updates on the refunds until December 6th, 2016 and send a couple of e-mails with no respond from the wireless Advocates. On December 6th, 2016 I have decided to stop by the COSCO to check on the status of my rebate. The lady that helped me was not able to find my purchase for about 40 min. Then, she told me that I was supposed to make pictures of my Verizon contract and e-mail for the rebate. I went home and e-mailed my Verizon purchase agreement. This morning I got an e-mail from the Wireless Advocates that I have to wait another 14 weeks to get a rebate process. I contacted Brian Levenhagen, the Kiosk Manager, but he left home without answering to my request. I called back and the sales agent (lady) when heart my complaint for an additional weighting time just hang up on me and refused to pick up the phone again when I called back. I think that COSTCO's vendors are forcing people to by their telephone services and equipment by lying about the telephone reimbursements.

Costco meat department managers indifference

I visited the Shoreline Costco today and say the Strip steaks were on sale. The Meat manager (I sold so many steaks, this is the number one store in steal a sales and I had to bring other butchers to keep up.) responded to my comment "that the steaks were too thick":
1) Did not even acknowledge my comment,
2) Refuted my concern by stating,
A) "thick steaks are better"
B) "We cannot cut thinner because we have a price point to hit"
C) " We are the number 1 store in steak sales"
3) I responded that customers want thinner steaks, and I was told I am a "Member" not a "Customer".

Please look at the attached pictures and let me know if this how you manage the Meat Section in the Shoreline Warehouse.
