Costa Coffee cakes etc

We went to the Costa in Norwich in next at longwater retail park. My daughter wanted a cake so we ordered 2 cakes when the young lady was getting them sorted I noticed there was at least 5 flys trapped inside where the cakes were so we ordered carrot cake because they were under a glass container I told the young girl and she said she would tell someone. We then sat down near the front counter but nobody got the flys out and carried on serving cake with all sorts of germs on we did not eat our cake as to the thought of flys being on them too.

Costa Coffee cold coffee I purchased

Today I bought for the first time a cold coffee with milk. It was expensive.
I did not try the coffee until in my car.

It was the most dreadful liquid is ever tasted. I tried adding sweetener and more milk at home, my partner though it down the sink as I became nauseous and was sick several times!

What did she give me!

Costa Coffee 'egg mayo' sandwich

The Egg Mayo sandwich was bought in good faith, and in date, on Saturday 7th July 2018 at the Costa store located within the Next Shop in Norwich, and I believed that it would be as described on the outer packaging.
Unfortunately the mayo was far from visible and I certainly did not detect any taste of mayo or anything that resembled egg. Upon inspection of the pulled apart sandwich bread the egg resembled cardboard and there was no visible mayo. I spoke to the Barista and the Manager came over and offered us a replacement sandwich of our choice. He couldn't have been more helpful, however the egg mayo concoction was not the same as we had previously enjoyed at a Costa as they were made as a mashed up egg and mayo reminiscent of my childhood. To say I was disappointed in the quality and presentation of the sandwich does not do it justice. I have no photographic evidence as the offending sandwich was removed by the manager.
I would like the old version of the egg mayo sandwich reinstated. Sadly I won't be trying out your sandwiches in future and will indeed purchase elsewhere regarding sandwiches.

Costa Coffee unethical behaviour

To whom this may concern,

I am writing in regards to a recent visit yesturday, 4 July 2018, around 11am at your store in putKingsteignton. While I was there with one of my support workers, we had seen a lady who appeared to be mentally unwell was handing out money/cakes etc to the public, making loud noises as well as approaching people.

My support worker who was with me, had politely and kindly asked the manager of the store, if he had contacted anyone regarding the situation and he said no, sounding as if he was abit annoyed with the question and as if he couldn't be bothered, I found his reaction very unprofessional, uncalled for and unfair to not only those who were wanting to help the situation, like myself, my support worker and another lady but also everyone in the store, those affected/not affected from this. I am appalled by the managers reaction in this situation; as you would think the manager of a store would do something about it, but the manager of your store in Kingsteignton didn't do anything. Soon after as myself and my support worker were about to leave, the lady who appeared to be mentally unwell had approached both myself and my support worker, as having both a learning and physical disability myself, I found the lady's approach, very scary, very uncomfortable and felt very vulnerable. My support worker and myself then told the lady we had to leave and my support worker then got me into her car and rang the police. She then stayed on the phone for 10 minutes and they sent officers out. I was very upset, uncomfortable, scared and vulnerable at the situation as obviously it was a scary position to be in.

I have also rung your customer service helpline earlier today to raise this and also wanted to put it in writing. I wish this to be taken seriously as well as dealt with and I hope no one else has to experience this in your store.

Costa Coffee basingstoke costa leisure park

On Sunday 10th June 2018 whilst visiting a Costa store in Basingstoke leisure park, my 3 year old daughter caught her finger in the toilet door which caused the tip of finger to be cut off.
I am writing this as I am appaulled by your service.
My name and contact details were given the next day and I have heard absolutely nothing from Costa regarding the health and well being of my daughter.
We have had many hospital trips going back and forth to Salisbury hospital to try and save her finger.
I will be contacting my local paper if this issue is not resolved.

Costa Coffee poor service, rude staff, points not added

E-mailed previously and completely ignored by Costa. Will try to summarise. Ordered medium latte and 2 chocolate baby cinnos. Was given a latte and while waiting for the baby cinnos I took a sip and realised it had syrup in it. As I had already waited about 5 mins for the rest of my order and we were at the cinema and running late for the film I just decided to keep it. Still waiting with my children a Costa staff member kept mentioning her head over in my direction to another colleague basically saying what was I waiting for. I thought this was extremely rude and unprofessional. After several other minutes the colleague came to ask what I was waiting for. I stated the rest of my order. The rude girl then said 'thats not your latte then' I said no this ones got syrup in it. She took it off me and put it to one side. After another lengthy time I got my latte and my children's cinnos. The drink I had sipped out of she then gave to someone else even thou I'd drank out of it! My children's baby cinnos were boiling hot! When we've had them before they are normally just aired so my 3 year old son burnt his lip. I thought the manner of the girl was very rude I had to wait a long time for no reason. My order had obviously been forgotten I don't know why as it wasn't busy and there was no one in front of me. When I got home and looked at my receipt my points had not been added to my Costa card. Had a really bad experience and I fail to see why. I visited the Tunstall Costa a few days before which was busy at lunchtime and the staff were efficient and polite and helpful. This happened at the festival park odean cinema branch on 12th May.

Costa Coffee toast

I ordered toast and coffee at Birmingham airport costa at 9 o clock am on the 12th May. I couldn't cut the toast with a knife. I couldn't brake it in half. When I did manage to snap it in half on the edge of the table it looked like it was made of layers of balsa wood. If my flight hadn't been called, I would have taken it back and complained. I welcome your comments.

Costa Coffee no delivery again!

As a group of 8 visiting Costa every Saturday morning we have been let down again.
No BACON rolls for 2 weeks now - and they are on special!/...being told that this is because of delivery issues.
Come on Costa - look at the spend we have with you - a group of 8 every Saturday! This is not good enough. Tried to order brown/wholewheat toast as an alterantive and guess what... nothing! Very disappointing!

Morning i go to costa every day for breakfast, , its easy to do as i work not fare away, , , i got there saterday 21/07/2018, no staff at 7 am, i left at 7/20 am, , on the monday i was told thay slept in, didnt open till 7/40 am. i seen cakes left out all night, just cling film loose over, your fruit cakes no cover at all.. i just have your microwave breakfasts, , never will eat cakes from costa, , your hygiene is so bad, this costa i go to is in tescos, You need reporting Bury lancs, Regards Peter Warren

Costa Coffee customer service

I'm in your Costa cafe, Abu Dhabi airport, terminal 3. I've just informed your staff that every time they close the door behind their counter it slams shut and shudders the wall which supports the long couch area.
Oblivious to this they denied there is a door (which there is to the side) and continued to slam the door shut.
Please fix the door and teach your staff to listen, have emphaty to customer needs and at least show they care.
Not a great experience for a loyal customer who just wanted a relaxing coffee before boarding a flight.

Costa Coffee rude and silly excuse

me and my husband spend at least £50 per week in all costa shops in and around Weston super mare, we have waited months for the peach syrup to arrive so we could have an iced peach tea on 24th April, 18, we went into our most visited store at Bransby way wsm, they could not wait to let us know it was back, so we duely ordered and enjoyed our peach tea, we had a few more over the next 2/3 days, so on 30.4.18 we went to the costa shop by B&Q, I asked for a peach tea, as I could see it on side, to be told, no, im not opening it as we are having a launch on Thursday, when I said the other shops have not refused this, her reply, well go there then its the rules, im not opening it

this is the first time in approx. 15 years that I have walked out of a costa shop, she was rude, and did not even say it quietly, will not go in there again if she is there!

Costa Coffee unethical behaviour

Date of Incident: 28th April 2018
Approx time of incident: 16.15pm
Location: Costa Coffee, Rushmere, Craigavon, Northern Ireland.
Details of Incident: My two children aged 6yrs and 9yrs went up to the till to ask the costa employee the wifi code for their tablet. They were in my sight the entire time. When they returned to the table, my friend and I with my 2 children continued with our coffee and drinks. The person whom I believe to be the manager approached our table and directly addressed my 9yr old child accusing him of taking a sweet from the counter, I was completely aghast, firstly that he was addressing my child directly to accuse him and secondly that he said the costa employee 'thought' he had taken a sweet. I asked my son to turn out his pockets to show that he didn't, which of course were empty. The 'manager' replied stating he had to check and turned on his heel and walked away without even as much as an apology for the false accusation.
I take issue and exception with the following:
1. Accusing a 9yr year child directly of stealing, the allegation should have been addressed to the parent. It is abhorrent that my child was wrongfully accused directly of such a serious allegation and it has left him traumatised.
2. He said the employee 'thought' my child had taken a sweet which of course he had not. The employee should have been certain - not 'thought' before accusing anyone of stealing.
3. Not even an apology for the wrongful accusation.
I was absolutely appalled and humiliated by this false accusation so publicly on a Saturday afternoon. Two ladies were sitting at the table next to us and when they were leaving they stopped at our table and said they were disgusted at the behaviour of the 'manager' and couldn't believe the way the costa employee had conducted himself and his approach to the child. They said they felt embarrassed for us and thought his behaviour was entirely inappropriate and said we should complain. It left me and my child feeling completely humiliated and distraught.

I am disgusted as to how this matter has been handled and am currently considering my options before seeking legal redress. Prior to doing so I will await your response before taking any further action at this point.

Costa Coffee staff employee & manager

On Sunday 22/4/2018 my son & I purchased 2 drinks from Costa Coffee on the junction of West Green Rd & Tottenham high road. This was at 1500. I asked the female employee at the counter if we could use the toilet. The answer was yes I asked if we need a password the response was no. We waited for 10 mins then went back to the counter to make sure it wasn't password protected. The answer was no it's not. I then waited by the toilet for another 5 mins. A woman also waiting left as it was taking so long. Eventually the employee who I originally asked if we could use the toilet also came. I thought she was coming to check if the person in the toilet was ok. She left & came back. 1 minute later a gentleman exited the toilet. I walked up to the door but the employee looked me in my face & despite me telling her we had been waiting & despite her knowing this she walked into the toilet & closed the door. I waited for her to come out & asked her why she pushed in & she said she did not know I was waitIng. I then asked to see the manager who then said I hadn't asked to use the toilet, that I had just arrived & that I must go away. The employee who did use the toilet whispered what sounded like [censored] & sniggered. The manager then belittled my complaint by saying what kind of gentleman am i & turned her back on. I told her I would be complaining & she just ignored me. After seeing what happened to the customers who were arrested in Starbucks USA it's becoming obvious that this is a common problem with coffee shop staff & managers. Costa Coffee costa coffee port talbot

I am a Costa Coffee customer and am not happy with how unfairly another very good customer has been treated and was dealt with very unprofessionally. Donna Flay is a lovely kind lady who has been banned for reasons unknown because of complaints from one person. This one person has made 7 complaints and Donna has not been told what she has done to offend this person. This could have been resolved without Donna having to be banned. The complaint was made 6 weeks before but the staff still took her money without saying anything in all that time. I have always looked forward to our chats she has helped me greatly. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

Costa Coffee service at costa leigh delamere westbound m4 motorway. fri 6th april 6th

My wife and I stopped at costa coffee at approx 10.15 am on fri april the 6th.

When we approached the ordering area, the gentleman who took our order

A double expresso and a pot of tea, just looked blankly at me, I gave him my

Order, he gave me the price in or out, he said costa card, and just left the card

On the counter. Nothing was said he turned away and walked off. He then

Hi I went to Costa coffee at Meadowhall 30/3/2018 at13:15pm I asked for a latte with coconut milk I took my coffee but didn't taste it till I had sat down on the tram I took a sip and realized it was cows milk which I have a serious allergy to so had to throw away which was a waste of money the staff seriously didn't seem to know what they were doing

Costa Coffee wuntu offer

Hi there,

I went to costa at Sunbury branch today, as I got a notification from Wuntu App with regards to free coffee from today to Friday, (as I was able to get one from the same branch before with the same staff at the counter) . But this lady said that they are now a Franchise and therefore don't accept the Wuntu code anymore. No where on the Terms&Conditions on the Wuntu App that says they don't accept it at Franchises. It should have clearly stated, as this could trick customers.

I would greatly appreciate your assistance on this matter.

Costa Coffee bad service and hygiene

I am complaining about the level of service in Costa Coffee in Alexandria, Egypt (Stanly Branch) . My last visit was on 12/3/2018.

I used to go there a lot. But lately I noticed the service is worsening:
- staff not professional enough (how they take orders, how they put the order on the table, how they deal with customers)
- the hygiene of the place. The place is not clean enough, has flies, plus the cups and plates are not clean. (I had to return the cup and the glass)
- salads are not fresh
- beverages are not served as hot as they should be.

P.S I love costa coffee therefore I hate to see it like that and losing its customers.

Costa Coffee cup of tea

I stayed in Blackpool this weekend and on the 11 March my friend and I called in your establishment located in Blackpool tower for refreshment. I only drink tea (which my friend bought me) but I could not drink it as it was full of milk and the tea was very week. I waited in the cue for around 15 minutes as the poor lady that was serving by herself and there was quite a cue. Anyway I explained that I could not drink it as I like very little milk and very strong tea. As I asked the poor overworked lady to make me another one with with a little milk and asked if I could have an extra tea bag which I have done in your Bury establishment with no problem a young lady turned up and said right away that I could not have one unless I paid for the tea bag as I don't pay for the water it is the tea I pay for. I think that this remark was very unprofessional and it really upset me as I could buy a small box of tea for the price that you charge for your tea. In the end I asked if I could have a bottle of water instead and was told that they were unsure. I said forget it I won't bother and then the lady that was working there under pressure said to me kindly that I could. Your customer service from the young lady was appalling and needs to be retrained on customer service.

Costa Coffee hi nearly every week the costa coffee machine breaks down

Hi we use Costa coffee machine at Sewells pocklington and it must break down nearly every week. This machine is usually very well used but it causes problems when it's not working we have a Costa in town but not easy to park. I hope you will get it repaired soon. We can park outside the garage I'm sure all the weekends it's broken down it must take a lot of trade away. I hope you look into this matter and replace rather than repair.
