I purchased an 8 days hawaii package and it was a scam. The certificate they send you is suppose to be for free. After you recieve the certificate, you have to send the $100 to activate your account and have access to the good deals that PTS is offering. Instead they charged me $433 for the certificate making me think that I was paying for the package and when I tried to resolve the issue..Tia tried to come up with some lame excuse that they were scammed by another reseller and that I am the only one facing this problem. yet they also said that they were in a legal proceeding with PTS and the other company that sold it to them, which is also another lie. The best part, when I told them about the issue they told me that they had taken the promotion down due to another complaint from a different customer.. but I thought I was the only one that faced this problem, get your lies together people! see you in small claim court.

I came to this site hoping to get some info on whether this site corporatetravelgifts.com is a scam site or not. The advertisement is for a 3-in-1 vacation where you get THREE vacations for the price of $399 each of them multiple nights here they are:
* 3 Days 2 Nights Hotel Stay for 2 Guests (One guest 18+) * RETAIL VALUE: $299
* 4 Days 3 Nights All Inclusive Resort for 2 Guests (One guest 18+) * RETAIL VALUE: $899
* 5 Days 4 Nights Hawaii Hotel Stay for 2 Guests (One guest 18+) * RETAIL VALUE: $699
And of course they list $37 fees per night for the 3 and 5 night stays and $67 per person (for the whole stay) for room fee etc. so I could see the potential for paying $430-$564 (or more if we take our children on any of the trips). My question is, is this company "corporatetravelgifts.com " a scam site and is there a chance they will quote all fees up front and commit to that because I'm not booking anything without a guarantee especially if have the potential to pay almost $900 (even though that's a really great deal for 3 trips). Here is the link to the site: mhttp://www.corporatetravelgifts.com/category_s/410.htm

I got to visit them in South America, Ecuador's Mompiche. The worst experience of my life.
I paid on line, when I arrived they made me pay again, never mind I had proof. You can't check in until 3:00 PM, so no food, no nothing until then. Pools (7) close at sunset, in a tropical paradise? If you do not have reservations for food, you are eating sandwiches.
I called the cops on my way out. They told me that they go everyday because of complaints, plus they are know Money Launderers (Colombian). Stay away

I purchased 4 days and 3 nights to Vegas for Luxor or Stratsophere through Plum District. I went through the whole process paying my $50 then get an email saying to pay additional $336. I got mad emailed them back where I get a response making me feel like an idiot. I called Travel Care Plus (Redeem Your Vacations) and left message. I did get a call back and have recieved many emails that are still going now. She seems to like to keep me agitated. I told them I didn't want a refund that they would be hearing from me. I want my 3 nights at Luxor like I paid for. Then they refunded and offered to waive the fee to book. When I finally calm down and tell them I am waiting for a reply from Plum District they said they were done contacting me and take back their offer. I have my voucher there no mention of more fees. I have contact BBB and am waiting for a response.

I'd like to make an ammendment to my previous complaint able reguarding plum district and corporate travel gifts Corporate Travel Gifts was only the advertiser for this offer on Plum District. Sites like Plum District, Groupon & others, contact sites like us wanting to advertise our products & products of affiliates (like ITP) to place on their daily deal sites to make a profit. There's nothing wrong with that, & the vouchers are generally a great deal. The real problem that was had, was with your reservation center, Incentive Travel Plus.

ITP has had numerous complaints regarding their service recently, and although many customers have been successfully booked, some share your experience. We fully respect your right to voice your personal experience regarding your offer, be it good or bad. But we would be deeply appreciative if the correct company was named in your complaint, and not on a board containing our name.

You can view a number of complaints about ITP here, & are more than welcome to post your complaint regarding their lack of service to you here & other places. http://www.complaintsboard.com/?search=incentive+travel+plus.

I have been a victim of this scam as well which was $99 for 4days/3nights in Luxor/Stratosphere sold through PlumDistrict. I redeemed my voucher at redeemyourvacations.com/las_vegas.html and paid a $50 administrative fee only to never be contacted back about my reservation! I completely blame PlumDistrict because they should've done research on this. I am extremely angry! This is clearly a scam and I don't understand why PlumDistrict didn't do research on this prior to offer this voucher. I have submitted a complaint to PlumDistrict so I am hoping to at least get back the $99 I paid for the voucher. I have also filed a complaint against Vacation Incentives with the FTC and my next stop is the California State Attorney's office.

And here's the follow up. Maybe we would have tried them if we were offered an incredible deal...:

Hi xxxxxxxxxxx, we provide booking & customer service for MANY vacation companies & offers, not just the one you bought. The terms & fees are all set by hotels & advertisers, not us. We can only offer the rates the hotel(s) make available to us - usually there is a significant savings, but in some cases it's not as much, & is certainly up to the customer whether they'd like to book or not.

The $150 credit we offered is from a partner of our business, who lists all terms & fees up front, so there is no surprise & you can gauge the value of the deal before you buy. As it happens, the only fee we collected was the $50 processing fee, which is listed as non refundable. If you don't wish for us to reserve anything for you however, I can escalate your request to a supervisor, or I still have the option to offer you a credit for future purchase from our partnering site if you wish. If you elect not to book with us, the credit we can offer is $100, double the processing fee.

I hope this helps! :)

Sorry for the long post. I purchased the $100 voucher through Plum District and just recently went through the process mentioned above to try to get my deal. I will make no judgement regarding these folks. You can assume what you like from the email chain I have copied below. It didn't work out for us and we will have probably lost at least $150 if we can get our money back from Plum District. Begin email chain...

Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,

Are the rooms specified below the 'basic' rooms offered at each hotel? The reason I'm asking is that I did an extremely quick search on expedia for rooms at those 3 resorts, and I can purchase those same 4 nights for basic rooms for:
-$512 at Royal Decameron- Obviously the same that you are quoting below, not including the $150 we've paid for the voucher and your booking fees
-$584 at Occidental- $72 more than you quoted below but still less money with vouchers & fees
-$560 at Riu Jalisco- Same as your quote below not including the $150 we've already paid
I'm sure you get the same question from many people who've bought your vouchers from online coupon sites, so I'm sure the deal is in there somewhere and you don't just book from the same internet retailers we do? Are the rooms luxury rooms (though Royal Decameron doesn't offer any when I searched)? Or do you have better offers (prices for the resorts below or better resorts) should the prices you quoted change and therefore not work out for your customers who bought vouchers? Thanks for your time and I'll await your response before choosing between the three below (or other options you can find).

Best Regards,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Reservations

Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, all of the offers are dependent on availability. For most resorts, they only have a few rooms available each month or so at"wholesale" rate, which is the promotional rate available. If those rooms are taken, the hotel will display the next best available rate - our database doesn't itemize whether the fee displayed is the wholesale rate or the next best thing...kind of makes for some awkward situations at times, but normally works ok.

If you like, we can add some value to the offer if you'd like us to book one of the offers below for you. We can include a $150 credit towards any purchase on our partners site, www.CorporateTravelGifts.com, if you like. The credit would be good towards any item(s) on the site for 1 year. Let me know if this will help you & we'll get you set up!

Warmly,

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks for the quick response xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
So it's clear from your explanation that the rooms you will provide from your booking source are the same 3 rooms (the 'base rooms') I referenced from my quotes below from Expedia? Just because of how this deal has worked so far causes me to doubt there's a deal to be had by getting $150 more to spend with you. It would also seem to be to my advantage to book directly through Expedia or somewhere else directly because then I would have more control over cancellations, date changes, etc. So unless you can offer me an actual deal, I don't believe there is any compelling reason to book through you. I don't suppose you could refund the fees you have already leveraged from us for doing what I did in 3 minutes:).
Thanks again,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Also, we believe Annemarie Booker of CORPORATE TRAVEL GIFTS .COM VACATION INCENTIVES UNLIMITED .COM goes on blogs and complaint sites and behaves like someone who has purchased from her sites and is totally happy with what she got. Google her sites and see for yourself.

TRAVEL SCAM ALERT! Annemarie Booker (we think that her last name but she uses many different aliases) of Corporate Travel Gifts .com, Vacation Incentives Unlimited .com soon to be Roombot.travel (same person for all) is running this TRAVEL SCAM. She sells travel vouchers she gets for free from ITP Reservations (Incentives Travel Plus), PTS, and some other voucher sites, charges you $30 to $50 to enter YOUR information into THEIR websites (which you can do yourself). You can get better and legitimate deals on legit travel booking sites.

Here's how the SCAM works. You buy the voucher or get it for free. She sends you a link to her "REDEEM SITE" (redeem...something.. .info) . There you are asked to pay a $50 "reservation fee" through Paypal, then she sends you a "reservation form". You fill it out along with your credit card info (DO NOT DO GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO!). She then, inputs your info into one of these websites (she calls them " the "reservation center" or something similar) and tells you to "wait" for them to get back to you which they hardly ever do. Here is what her sites say:

BOOKING: Reservations booked 30 days in advance are preferred. Reservations may be made prior to 30 days for surcharge. Many resorts and destinations are available, not all shown here. There are no blackout dates, although holidays may be difficult.

FEES: Nightly resort taxes and fees of between approx $20-50 pp required when finalizing reservations. Extended stays, additional travelers, and peak dates may require surcharge. There are no timeshare presentations at any of our network of Resort properties.

PROCESS: When booking, simply enter your validation code (which she makes up), requested travel dates, and reservation fee (one time $50) online. Your Reservation Center will reply with multiple resort options, pricing, and upgrade options within 24-72 hours (Mon-Fri). Reservation Centers will finalize all reservations via email (you rarely or never hear from them). Please be prepared to submit payment information via email, Reservations may be confirmed with Visa, Mastercard, Discover & Amex. They will send your booking packet via USPS & you may finalize travel details directly with them

The "Reservation Center" is just another site (third party website like ITP Reservations, PTS or some others) she enters your info into these sites that you send to her and hope they will get back to you. These "reservation centers" rarely get back you. We have DIRECT experience with this..

She also charges re-sellers $1000 to do her dirty work (TV TRAVEL is just one but we will update you on more as we find them) . promising them big returns. We quickly figured out this SCAM. SHE IS NOT LICENSED TO BOOK TRAVEL WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW.

If you have been SCAMMED / RIPPED OFF by this person and/or these sites report them to the FTC, BBB and/or the California State Attorneys' office..

This is her address and contact info:

I am going through this company called TV TRAVEL that sells the different packages vouchers for this company (corporate travel deals) and for TV TRAVEL their US package deals are $99 dollar and you get a 3day 2 nights anywhere in US states, the 5days 4 nights Hawaii stay for 2the adults and 2childernI then the Vegas booklet... almost that for just $99the and you can use it over and over again for a lifetime. Which just sound to good to be true, so I am trying to do some research on the vouchers and found out that TV TRAVEL get these voucher from this COG company and now reading on the complaints and fraud messages I feel like both of these companies seem so not legimate to me. I don't know can somebody tell me if they have been through the same situatation as me or if they know and did business with these companies TV TRAVEL OR CORPORATE TRAVEL GIFTS before and let me know there experiences epically with TV TRAVEL and give me some advice on should I buy these vouchers from them or not.

Thanks

I purchased a three night stay in las vegas from them on September 3rd, it was two rooms for a total of $200 through Plum District. I followed the booking instructions and paid the additional $50 reservation fee and I was told to expect a ccall from a reservations agent in a week. I emaile dthe company on September 28th to inform them i had not been contacted, I received an email saying they would look into the matter further. I waited to hear back and nothing. I have since sent five other emals and left at least five voicemails at the companies 1-800 #, which no one seems to ever answer. I have also emailed Plum District and still nothing. Any advice? Is this jusst terrible customer service or is it fraud? And how does one proceed from here? I have run out of angry messages and threats...

If it helps, I got a package that corporatetravelgifts.com had advertised through Bloomspot that was good. It was for 3 nights in Vegas & me & 3 friends all got the deal for $99. One of my friends canceled their trip & got a refund right away, so I don't know if their policy changed or if the customer above did not know about it, but it seemed to work out well for us. (FYI, we stayed at the Luxor :)

I'm glad that someone responded to this complaint. I've been doing some research about the company and it's reassuring to see that the company makes good efforts to try and rectify these types of situations. I feel a little more comfortable about purchasing through the company.

REPLY FROM CTG: We apologize for any confusion & inconvenience this may have caused you - please allow us to correct some of the misinformation you seem to have concerns about.

The package this customer is referring is legitimate, and has a retail value of over $1000. We had full reseller rights to sell it, which we did for less than half off it's retail value. The $100 booking fee was clearly listed on our site so this fee was not a surprise & was required by the reservation center - not our company.

We did not receive this package from PTS - we received it from a different vendor, who misrepresented some details about the package. These details were minor - but customer satisfaction IS a priority to us, & after noting 2 similar issues, we discontinued sale of the package as well as the relationship with the vendor. The legal action taken is against this vendor, not PTS. It is not worth it to our company to offer an unsatisfactory product for any reason so we immediately discontinued it.

If at any time you wish to exchange your package for one (or more) of equal value or credit - we have 100% value guarantee policy in place that will allow any customer to do this at any time. No questions, no hassle! Your satisfaction is a priority to us so please contact us & we will be happy to resolve this matter.

Thank you for voicing your concerns so that we may improve our ability to help customers like yourself!
