Core Elements dubai review: job scam 484

These people are scam. In the name of training, they charge you fee and assure you interview calls which seldom happens. I offered them 10, 000 dhm after getting job throuhg them. It is not difficult for a professional person with several years experience to get the job but i realised that these people are fraud, and never ever pay anything upfront to any agency unless you receive some benefit.

they asked me money to prepare CV properly and i nicely rejected and i told i will do required modification.
they told they will send test mail to send updated CV and i waited for two days, there was no reply.
If u contact any the number above u cant reach them. [censor]ing babes...

Someone needs to smack them silly.I got call from core elements for interview with clients office on friday. they fixed my interview at 04:00 pm, but when i visited to same office, it was not client office it is core elements office only, then i thought may be client will take interview. i reached there at 03:30 pm they after 04:30 pm one lady called me for interview, she is from core elements only. they sent me SMS on that there is a name of client Ms.Amy Brown. i give her answer, then she told me i will forward your CV to client name was told by her is Canon Group. she told me to fill up a registration form it costs Dhs.300/- i told her if i get a job i will pay u more than that. thank god i am not paid her, after that i checked in internet then i seen this people complaints so i thought i have to share my experiance with this guys, but i wasted my time, transport charges, energy.

Lol you guys I just came back from an interview with them. They asked to pay 300 dhs to "refine" my CV. I did not pay them. Never pay money to a consultancy agency. My friend went to an interview with them before I did and they asked him to pay 300 dhs for CV to "add some point, " he did pay. It's funny that we both got a call for the same position even though I have no experience while he has more than 10 years exp.

What basically happened during the interview is that she started reciting whatever she was reading on her laptop screen and she really did not care about my answers, it's like she wanted to go though it quickly, and she did not seem to want long answers because it was at 4 pm and she's tired of all the "fake" interviews... She quickly went about mentioning a company called "cannon" or "canoe" a hospitality agency (which I couldnt find online) that's looking for administrative position, and she tells you whatever you want to hear, like salary is not a problem at all to them very high salary and PLUS BENEFITS! And at the ends she asks you to pay. BEWARE GUYS! ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE GOING TO CONSULTANCY AGENCIES! Someone needs to smack them silly.I got call from core elements for interview with clients office on friday. they fixed my interview at 04:00 pm, but when i visited to same office, it was not client office it is core elements office only, then i thought may be client will take interview. i reached there at 03:30 pm they after 04:30 pm one lady called me for interview, she is from core elements only. they sent me SMS on that there is a name of client Ms.Amy Brown. i give her answer, then she told me i will forward your CV to client name was told by her is Canon Group. she told me to fill up a registration form it costs Dhs.300/- i told her if i get a job i will pay u more than that. thank god i am not paid her, after that i checked in internet then i seen this people complaints so i thought i have to share my experiance with this guys, but i wasted my time, transport charges, energy.

Lol you guys I just came back from an interview with them. They asked to pay 300 dhs to "refine" my CV. I did not pay them. Never pay money to a consultancy agency. My friend went to an interview with them before I did and they asked him to pay 300 dhs for CV to "add some point, " he did pay. It's funny that we both got a call for the same position even though I have no experience while he has more than 10 years exp.

What basically happened during the interview is that she started reciting whatever she was reading on her laptop screen and she really did not care about my answers, it's like she wanted to go though it quickly, and she did not seem to want long answers because it was at 4 pm and she's tired of all the "fake" interviews... She quickly went about mentioning a company called "cannon" or "canoe" a hospitality agency (which I couldnt find online) that's looking for administrative position, and she tells you whatever you want to hear, like salary is not a problem at all to them very high salary and PLUS BENEFITS! And at the ends she asks you to pay. BEWARE GUYS! ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE GOING TO CONSULTANCY AGENCIES! Someone needs to smack them silly.I got call from core elements for interview with clients office on friday. they fixed my interview at 04:00 pm, but when i visited to same office, it was not client office it is core elements office only, then i thought may be client will take interview. i reached there at 03:30 pm they after 04:30 pm one lady called me for interview, she is from core elements only. they sent me SMS on that there is a name of client Ms.Amy Brown. i give her answer, then she told me i will forward your CV to client name was told by her is Canon Group. she told me to fill up a registration form it costs Dhs.300/- i told her if i get a job i will pay u more than that. thank god i am not paid her, after that i checked in internet then i seen this people complaints so i thought i have to share my experiance with this guys, but i wasted my time, transport charges, energy.

My friend went to an interview with them before I did and they asked him to pay 300 dhs for CV to "add some point, " he did pay. It's funny that we both got a call for the same position even though I have no experience while he has more than 10 years exp.

What basically happened during the interview is that she started reciting whatever she was reading on her laptop screen and she really did not care about my answers, it's like she wanted to go though it quickly, and she did not seem to want long answers because it was at 4 pm and she's tired of all the "fake" interviews... She quickly went about mentioning a company called "cannon" or "canoe" a hospitality agency (which I couldnt find online) that's looking for administrative position, and she tells you whatever you want to hear, like salary is not a problem at all to them very high salary and PLUS BENEFITS! And at the ends she asks you to pay. BEWARE GUYS! ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE GOING TO CONSULTANCY AGENCIES! Someone needs to smack them silly.I got call from core elements for interview with clients office on friday. they fixed my interview at 04:00 pm, but when i visited to same office, it was not client office it is core elements office only, then i thought may be client will take interview. i reached there at 03:30 pm they after 04:30 pm one lady called me for interview, she is from core elements only. they sent me SMS on that there is a name of client Ms.Amy Brown. i give her answer, then she told me i will forward your CV to client name was told by her is Canon Group. she told me to fill up a registration form it costs Dhs.300/- i told her if i get a job i will pay u more than that. thank god i am not paid her, after that i checked in internet then i seen this people complaints so i thought i have to share my experiance with this guys, but i wasted my time, transport charges, energy.

Lol you guys I just came back from an interview with them. They asked to pay 300 dhs to "refine" my CV. I did not pay them. Never pay money to a consultancy agency. My friend went to an interview with them before I did and they asked him to pay 300 dhs for CV to "add some point, " he did pay. It's funny that we both got a call for the same position even though I have no experience while he has more than 10 years exp.

What basically happened during the interview is that she started reciting whatever she was reading on her laptop screen and she really did not care about my answers, it's like she wanted to go though it quickly, and she did not seem to want long answers because it was at 4 pm and she's tired of all the "fake" interviews... She quickly went about mentioning a company called "cannon" or "canoe" a hospitality agency (which I couldnt find online) that's looking for administrative position, and she tells you whatever you want to hear, like salary is not a problem at all to them very high salary and PLUS BENEFITS! And at the ends she asks you to pay. BEWARE GUYS! ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE GOING TO CONSULTANCY AGENCIES! Someone needs to smack them silly.I got call from core elements for interview with clients office on friday. they fixed my interview at 04:00 pm, but when i visited to same office, it was not client office it is core elements office only, then i thought may be client will take interview. i reached there at 03:30 pm they after 04:30 pm one lady called me for interview, she is from core elements only. they sent me SMS on that there is a name of client Ms.Amy Brown. i give her answer, then she told me i will forward your CV to client name was told by her is Canon Group. she told me to fill up a registration form it costs Dhs.300/- i told her if i get a job i will pay u more than that. thank god i am not paid her, after that i checked in internet then i seen this people complaints so i thought i have to share my experiance with this guys, but i wasted my time, transport charges, energy.

Lol you guys I just came back from an interview with them. They asked to pay 300 dhs to "refine" my CV. I did not pay them. Never pay money to a consultancy agency. My friend went to an interview with them before I did and they asked him to pay 300 dhs for CV to "add some point, " he did pay. It's funny that we both got a call for the same position even though I have no experience while he has more than 10 years exp.

What basically happened during the interview is that she started reciting whatever she was reading on her laptop screen and she really did not care about my answers, it's like she wanted to go though it quickly, and she did not seem to want long answers because it was at 4 pm and she's tired of all the "fake" interviews... She quickly went about mentioning a company called "cannon" or "canoe" a hospitality agency (which I couldnt find online) that's looking for administrative position, and she tells you whatever you want to hear, like salary is not a problem at all to them very high salary and PLUS BENEFITS! And at the ends she asks you to pay. BEWARE GUYS! ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE GOING TO CONSULTANCY AGENCIES! Had a chat with with a representative at CORE ELEMENTS today. Being called to a posh office on shaikh zayed road would only seem to you that nothing could go wrong. Oh! how wrong I was. According to the representative, A company called Hitches and Glitches was hiring and sent across a bunch of resumes to Core Elements to do the initial assessment on. She said that htey are looking for several positions and my resume fits the bill. She took down some of my details, asked me about a certain job role that I was applying for. Obviously, she had know idea what I was talking about, but she knew the right words and how to say it. She said that they would do up my resume and send it as a priority to the client for AED 300. I asked her for the job description, to which she said that she will be sending an email immediately.
OK! so these guys do up your resume and offer a service to you. But what ANNOYED me is that they mislead you into believing that there is job for around the corner and that they are running interviews on BEHALF of the client. I wonder if Hitches and Glithes is aware of this?
The fact that I shaved and wore a suit thinking that this is serious business is painful. I couldve just worn shorts and a pair of sandals. They make it look so professional and sound so confident.
I just wish that there could be some sort of a channel that I could take this matter on. Any help appreciated.

i was called yesterday 15th oct 2010, i did fall for it and paid 300 aed out of desperation, just to check on the company profile that they mentioned i loged on to internet and couldnot find anything but these comments as they are connig people. my interviewer was also farzana and the company they mentioned was cannon. i was pissed because i had recently lost my job and i gave them the money i didnt have . i went to the office next day screwed them got my money back and luckly i could pass on the message to 4 to 5 people who were arround they were saved but there were many more inside inthe waiting room i couldnt reach. i just hope they read these comments.

I was at their agency today. They told me they have a job opening for a Business Development Manager and that they will create a portfolio that makes it better for me to get the job and what not. They were asking for 300 Dhs. I started laughing at the lady there. I asked her a few questions to know more about the service they are offering. She started talking bla bla bla. I told her to go get a tele-sales job since she can talk pretty fast and not to try and convince me that she will be doing me any good.
She kinda backed off and said that she will send my CV to the client which is Kanon Group. I am gonna see if I will hear back from them.

But, I agree it is a trap. they just make money from the applicants without offering anything in return. It is all bull [censor]!

I have been called for an interview on Friday with a consultancy service company named Core Elements, but after going through the complaints board site and read few complains, I decided not to appear for interview and therefore declined. Much thanks for such a handy info.

Someone from Core Elements called me around 6 month ago and I never went there, however a few days ago I received call from them once again and been told that I must come for an interview. This time I decided to visit them; It was general questions about my work experience and etc. I been informed that my CV has been selected by international company and advised to correct my CV and must pay for it AED 300. Person who did an interview with me (don’t remember name, but European lady) also informed me that name of the company who supposed to send me an email is Kanon.
Nerveless, today my close friend has been invited for an interview for same position, asked for same amount of money to correct the CV and same name of the company Kanon been mentioned.
I can’t believe that we all spent hour time to go for this b……! and thanks for my boyfriend who warns me earlier do not pay any fee if they ask for it...

I just received a call from this company trying to get me to go to an interview on 4 Oct 2010. I was suspicious when the lady (with a Phillipino accent) could not tell me anything about the post, other than to say it was with Jumeriah Hotel Group. I asked her to send me an e-mail but didn't receive anything. I then received a call the next day to ask if I had attended the interview. I looked 'Core Elements' up and found this. Thanks for those who made previous reports. The number the woman called on was +971 [protected]. I tried calling her back to tell her what I thought & the phone had been switched off. I hope this information is useful to someone? Is someone passing all these reports on to the Dubai Police. Can they trace this number?

I just came back from that fake interview, actually from the first minute i didn't feel good and i was not comfortable, i had many interviews in my entire life but none of them was similar to this one.

And yes they asked me to pay 300 DHS to do some modifications on my CV, i asked her what modifications you are going to add?

She answered, we are going to make ur CV like international CV standards, huh... what the hell is that ! after this question i understood that its a fake interview and for sure i didn't pay.

Anyway she mentioned a company name "kanon", in fact i was surfing the internet to find to out what is the hell of this company, but i didnt find any company has such a name.

im one among you guys. they had called me on 9/10/2010 for an interview on 11th.. i.e just a day after the call. i went to the noor islamic building on the sheikh zayed road, dubai as per the details given reagarding the interview. i was at the office by 9 am and they didn't call me inside until 2.30 pm. There were many candidates waiting in the lobby for their respective turns. Before my turn i came to know that the interviewer is asking every candidate a sum 300 dhs. i straight away went to the receptionist and asked him whether this was happening inside the cabin. his reply was that they are not asking money from everyone. i called my dad n told him what was happening. he asked all the candidates who wer going back after the interview and found out that they were asking the sum to all. well guys, im a person who will not stand cheats n liars.. i went to the lobby where all the candidates were seated and announced that they were asking 300 dhs each and just walked away from there. TRUST ME GUYS! THERE IS NO NEED TO PAY ANYTHING TO ANYONE TO GET A JOB IF YOU HAVE FAITH IN UR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.! PEACE. n never go to these consultants. CORE ELEMENTS SUCK!

I can not believe how these people are getting away with such [censor] in Dubai?!? Anyway, the lady who called is supposed to call me again, i am just thinking about scamming her for a change. Gotta make a a good story, if she is so desperate to get money so easy, i will make here think she will get it real easy, then lure her into my trap. Kinda crazy, but these people deserve it.

I had a call myself from Core Elements and I went for the interview only to realise it was more like a walk in interview crap. After waiting for more than an hour I get called by some lady Ms. Sheikh. From the time she opened her mouth I realised that she didnt know a damn thing about what she was talking about. She was not even looking into my eyes, averting her gaze most of the time. She mentioned the clients name also as Kanon Group. My suspicions were already aroused because she was asking all dumb questions and she didnt have a clue what my present job role is. And when the talk finally came to paying the 300Dhs for the resume writing service, I said yes and signed a document after ofcourse reading it, but I told her I have to go the ATM and draw cash. She asked me for my credit card and debit card to settle the payments, and I realised that this was not worth it. So I just walked away. Only today I was searching google on Kanon group, I came across this link, and I am shocked to see so many people having been swindled of their hard earned money.

I will inform all my friends to be vary of this company. I could not believe it from the postings here that this scam has been going on since 2009 and till now the authorities have not closed them down!

CORE ELEMENTS - SCAM! I have experienced the same. Just right now! They called me, same old trick... Luckily I was able to research this SCAM online. Shame on them. Always remember that companies hire recruitment agencies to get specific candidates for a particular position and they pay for their services, job seekers do not have to pay for anything!

Recruitment agencies charge clients for their services. Candidates are not charged and as an HR professional i have handled consultancies. We pay consultancies for their services of identifying the right candidate for us. No good professional consultant would charge candidate for a job.

Always ask for which job you are considered for ?

Ask the detailed Job Description?

Never pay, client is there to pay consultancies. Client pays more money than what you and i can pay.
