CopperChef 8-inch Copper Chef pan handle blazing hot after a month of use

I bought the 8-inch and the 12-inch Copper Chef pans just before Christmas 2023. After using the 8-inch pan approximately ten times, the handle suddenly became smoking hot, literally, I literally saw smoke come off the end of the handle. last night (January 22, 2024). Had I not noticed the smoke, I would have burnt my hand severely.

Also, after the third time, the non-stick feature seemed to have worn off. Had to use cooking spray or vegetable oil to prevent food from sticking to pan.

I used the larger pan just twice and now am reluctant to ever use it. I might throw it in the trash along with the 8-inch pan.

I cannot understand how a pan like that could be sold by a company like Copper Chef. It is dangerous and utterly irresponsible. I wonder if the company even tests its products before they are released for sale to unsuspecting customers! One thing is certain: I will never ever buy another Copper Chef product again.

CopperChef Copper chef pan

Bought the set : (the one pan mom uses the finish is coming off at the edges to the aluminum pot metal, the non stick surface does not appear scratched or burned but what ever you cook in the pan the food is cemented on to the pans surface? The copper finish shows no sign of abuse but it is worthless it takes longer to clean the pan than cook the meal, called them was immediately given an email address and was told to send pictures and complaint, which I did several weeks ago, have heard nothing was never contacted as I was told they would! Reading all these complaints with the same problems guess gonna wright this one off to life`s educational experiences. Avoid these might work like advertised several times but 100% definitely a scam, lifetime warranty :) well good luck.

Desired outcome: would like a refund as a new one would probably do the same thing extreme poor quality and customer service worse x 2

CopperChef defective product

This particular Copper Chef Product does not live up to it's lifetime warranty as advertised! Within one year of purchase, the non-stick teflon materials began to peel off. Money back guaranteed - Not! chip, peel or not performing to standards - is misleading. Food gets easily stuck, and it is very difficult to scrub off, causing the nonstick layer to peel off even more. Most of all, they are not dishwasher friendly as advertised. Customer care creates obstacles to avoid sending replacements for their defective products. Been going back and forth since February 2022 without resolve. Very frustrating! Money and time wasted to believe that they even care! BUYERS, BE AWARE WHEN SHOPPING FOR COPPER CHEF PRODUCTS

Desired outcome: If it is even possible, I would like a replacement for my skillet and 11 inch copper chef pot. Thanks.

CopperChef Product

I own several. The bottoms have rounded out so that the pans do not sit flat on the stove. I am beyond my return policy, as they were purchased a while ago from big lots in naples, fl. I do not have my receipts, however, the stickers from the store are still on the pan handles. Is there any way to get replacements. Big lots will not deal with it. [protected]@gmail.Com.

CopperChef Bakeware

I ordered a set of pots/pans/bakeware after I lost everything in a fire. I chose these due to their "lifetime" warranty. These pans are a joke. They STAIN, they PEEL, they CHIP and they WARP. I contacted their customer support after my husband recommended and when I asked about replacements, they said my order was out of warranty... really? These pans are JUNK. I do not recommend.

CopperChef I am complaining about the directions for use for my copper crisper.

I have 2 copper crispers and directions say safe for use on grill. My tray turned black on the grill. I would appreciate a replacement tray free of charge since I followed the directions provided. Ive tried to get the black off without ruining the special copper coating but the black wont budge. Can you either give me advice on how to safely remove the black that the grill created to reveal the copper finish or replace the tray free of charge? I do use these crispers a fair amount and am very disappointed that the one is ruined. Thank you. I hope you back up your product and make me a happy, satisfied customer.

You can try to use BarKeepers Friend to clean the Crisper. If that does not work, please email Customerservice@tristarproductsinc.com with your name, address, when and where you purchased the crisper and we will assist you.

CopperChef 2 story egg cooker

the light goes on and off during cooking, so how do you know when the eggs are done? is the light off because the eggs are done or is it going to come on again? there is NO buzzer. this is a major design flaw.

CopperChef Products not received from copper chef online shopping

I placed an order on april 12, 2020 due to the special for $8. My order was for 8 items which I have only recieved 4 of the 8. I've tried to call every number listed for customer service. I need some kind of response.
These are the items that are missing. I don't know if copper chef is going out of business but i'd like my items or my money.

Diamond 12 cup muffin pan

Diamond 9x5 loaf pan

Grill pan w/induction plate

CopperChef 12" square king pan

My pan worked just fine at first but now everything I try to cook in it sticks to the bottom of the pan and it getting harder to clean. I tried all of the suggestions to make the pan better again but nothing works. I would like to get a new pan to replace the bad one. The company promises to replace the item if there is a problem. That is all I ask.

CopperChef wonderchef c00ker

Acct No. 2151K20183414 At the time of th3 purchase I was promised a $50.00 gift Card and 30 days trail coupon. The representative stated that I will receive this information in 7 to 10 business days. As of the date I have not receive any information. Your Customer Supervisor (Renee) was not any help at all. I understand the copper chef wonder cooker does not need a sale pitch like this it can stand on its own merit. If your company started the process and did not handle it correctly as a company representative I would be trying to find the breakdown and not tell the customer some bogus information like Renee stated. The representative did not connect me with any party just expect the information in 10 days. I would have been better off not giving the information. Just because of this mix up you will loose some good customers. Just don't tell me anything just to sale a product. Somebody needs to be responsible for giving off eronous information.

The $50 gift cards are handled by a third party company. If you have not been sent the gift card as of now, please email customerservice@tristarproductsinc.com. Include your name, address, order# and we will investigate what happened to the order. Please check your Inbox and Junk folders in email for the email from the company providing the gift card.

CopperChef I bought 4 different sets of different styles

i bought 4 different sets of different styles and they all stick i have had bought them for my wife for Christmas 2017 from Sams club they was good for first 3 to 4 months and now my wife has to literally scrape them to get them clean so disappointing. contact me Larry Compton [protected] i am very upset because i spent a lot of money for these pots and pans

CopperChef 9.5 in square frying pan

My pan worked just fine at first but now everything I try to cook in it sticks to the bottom of the pan and it getting harder to clean. I talked to a customer service person and they said it would cost me $14.95 to get the frying pan replaced. I think that the way the pan is advertised it should be replaced free of charge. I will no longer endorse you product to any one if this problem is not taken care of in acceptable manor

I spoke for 15 min. to someone from the customer service dept - to no avail.
Both expensive pans do not work as advertised - everything sticks badly despite my use of
only rubber spatulas. I want to return them but have to pay postage?

She was going to email me with postage info so I could send them back free, but email never came.
Impossible to deal with - very frustrating! should I go in on the class action lawsuit or what?

The Copper Chef pans are covered by a guarantee that does allow replacement if the consumer returns the original pan with a check for replacement unit p&h. Please check the instructions from the original pan for complete information.

CopperChef pan set

I bought a set of pans from CopperChef back in 2016 and received my order pretty fast but had to send everything back. Unfortunately all the pans were in a poor condition and looked used. I contacted CopperChef and told them how disappointed I was and even sent them pictures. They agreed for a replacement. Of course I tried to get a refund, but they said "no" over and over again and in the end I had to agree. Replacement was better than nothing.
It is now March 2017 and I still haven't received anything. According to their promises I was supposed to get my pans a long time ago but that was only a lie. I sent a refund request but was ignored. All they said was that I had to be more patient and that my order was on its way. I really doubt that they shipped my replacement, I don't believe them. Please, stay far away from this terrible company!

these are the worst pans ever I was told even after the 60 days warrenty they would stay behind there product they HAVE NOT THEY WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT THEM I returned them now I cant get my money back DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

They are very quick debiting your credit card account, but that is where their fast service ends. They do not want to hear about your problems, and it is very doubtful if they will try to resolve your problem. First the pans are not as good as they advertise! If you burn something in their pans, the burn area will not "Wipe out" as advertised, it will leave a burn mark or area. The pans DO NOT Heat evenly. Proof, put water in the pan and then bring it to a boil. As the water boils, you will see a round circle of bubbles which is the same as the aluminum ring on the bottom of the pans! If they really heated evenly, the entire bottom of the pan would have bubbles as the water comes to a boil. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE PANS! THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE PRICE!

CopperChef impossible to pay via paypal

I wanted to order a pan from CopperChef and wanted to pay via PayPal. I really don't trust all these online shops so I never buy anything from sites where it is impossible to use PayPal. When I found CopperChef I was happy that there was a possibility to use the payment method that I trust so I made an order. I was contacted by their customer service and told that there was something wrong with their payment system and that I needed to cancel my PayPal payment and use my credit card! I told them that I don't want to use my card and they become quite pushy and tried to assure me that everything will be fine. No way! No reputable company ever refused to use PayPal!
People beware, CopperChef is not a trustworthy company!

We loved our copper pan for the first year, never used a metal utensil on it, stove top use only and always hand washed yet today I noticed the copper is cracking and burning food. The protective coating is gone!

VERY DISAPPOINTED AND VERY POOR VALUE FOR THE MONEY!

They were good for about 3 weeks then they turn to crap...I went back to my old pots and pans. They cook better...Don't be trick in to buying them save your money...REAL CRAP
