We have had financial issues for the past year, filed bankruptcy & kept our cookware due to persistence & the company going behind our Attorney's back showing up at our house. I lost my job in November & we just came into some money so we paid Equitable over $2600 but our schedule payment was returned prior to the amount we paid. Michelle left a message on my phone with & attitude & was extremely rude when I called back. I asked if we could have the pay over the phone fee waived so that we could be done with them. She refused & her manager did as well & refused to get his manager stating she said no due to our several past NSF. I have never asked them to waive a fee & they refused the one time I did. Then they said we would have to call back in 30 days to request for a payoff receipt, never heard that before. The cookware is awesome but I would dare recommend anyone do business with Equitable, they are rude & will harass you to no end & don't care if you're having financial problems.
