They are web based and do not have a physical base. Their online advertise is fixed price of $440.00 for a conveyancing job. Then before settlement, they asked to pay$250 up front, and upon settlement got a bill for over $1400.00 all togather! for a simple buying property in Melbourne! When I questing their charges, they won't give an answer and hold up my paper work and delay my settlement. You provide all the documents to them. They make mistakes and charged you extra money to fix it. They do not know how to work as a conveyancer.
DO NOT USE THISCOMPANY OR ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM! TELL EVERYBODY TO SPREAD THE WORD DO NOT USE!
Make corrections, I made mistakes. Their website advertise low conveyancing fee, START with $440.00, not fixed price $440.00. They will charge you $250.00 initially and ask you sign the paper, the paper give you a quote their service fee start with $440.00, not fixed rate $440.00. Then they won't tell you any additional cost or further quote of their service. By the end of settlement, they will send you a bill with a surprise price. Their price is much higher than the market price. The funny thing is, in thier website, they still saying " Nothing is hidden, if extra work needed to be done, we supply a list of what it will cost at the start, so you will be aware of additional costs if incurred. Therefore keep it simple, keep it cheap." This is how they cheat the customers.
Abusive manner & overcharging
This company advertises their costs being $440.00 in the initial statement. However this is very untrue. They charge excessive fees throughout the settlement for normal procedures expected to be covered. My final costings was over $2000.00 !
Not only that they are very abusive on the phone when it is necessary to speak to them, especially John Clarke . I got to a stage whereby I would only ring when I absolutely necessary. I did not even get any notification after settlement to tell me we had settled . I heard through another conveyancer, that I had used to buy my new house. Even my Real Estate agent was horrified by his manner.
Please DO NOT use this company ! There are so many other good conveyancers around.
Abusive manner & overprice
This Conveyancing company is not to be trusted. They say their fees are a fixed price of $440.00 However, this is not the case. Not only do they charge excessively, their manner during the settlement was very abusive on the phone. I did not even get a phone call after settlement to say that it had occurred ! My invoice came two weeks later and this was over $2000.00.
I strongly advise that NO ONE go with this company. It has been a very unpleasant experience. I have put in an official complaint to Consumer Affairs as well as Conveyancing Association of Victoria. There are so many more good conveyancers around
I actually had a really good experience.
They did the work no issues and I asked for some additional work to be done of which I knew cost extra. I recommended them to three friends and they all said the same.
