Converse is just totally garbage now. Take note ive been Chucks and Converse my entire life; always getting iffy if I have to buy other brands and I dont even like basketball shoes etc.

nowadays I get to just check them out in the shop, oogling at the beauty of it but wont buy it. why? I had 4 converse that I bought last Christmas for myself, all had problems with the soles.

God I hate you people in converse.

Like the majority of comments, my NEW Cons started separating from the soles a week after I got them.
I sent notes to converse customer service and they all bounced back.
3rd pair that has come apart the same way. Absolutely will not be purchasing Cons anymore...Unbelievably disappointed! The worst part is that they don't seem to care that their reputation is turning to s***!

Conver bought from Schuh Cardiff
after 18 days the sole of the shoe came away from the white trimming and water was seeping through into my feet which i felt was unacceptable and decided to take them back to the shop.
2 members of staff were placing blame on the way that I walked and that the way the shoe was fitted to me, which I found very insulting as I have worked in a reputable shoe store for 3 years, also they told me that the shoe had excessive use (18 days) and they never considered the possibility that it might be a manufacturing fault. I was made to stand in the middle of the store and discuss the issue in front of other customer to make it seem that I was causing a scene and that I was bein unreasonable. This embarrassment has made me loose all faith in the SCHUH company and converse

Converse is poor quality junk. I bought my first pair jan 4th of this yr and not even a month of wear here and there to work the heels wore out. I'll never waste my money on junk again. Oh and converse company is just as poor quality in their customer service. Hope they rot like their junk shoes.

I bought converses... They broke about a two weeks after I got them and it was only the third time wearing them! I bought them while on holiday so couldn't return them, I bought them from a converse store! They were glued together. I have the same style of shoe from a clothing retailer (cotton on) for $30 and they are ten times better so far. They even look better feel better and are made well. I will never recommend or buy anything from the converse brand ever again. If you have department of fair trading I would contact them for problems. The disclaimer on converse site says they may not get back to you. I can't find a way to complain but screw that what will happen ? They'll send me another pair of low quality shoes? Meh... DC have awesome shoes, and Adidas.

My husband ordered a pair of converse shoes for our 10th anniversary & a pair for my daughter. He spend over $160 plus next day delivery which they will not reimburse us for the next day delivery. We never got the shoes, so I called converse 10 times over the past 2 months to resend the shoes. They promise they will & still no shoes. I am so tired of calling & talking to them & there broken promises . 2 years ago the same thing happened... I wish my husband would have bought them @ a store instead of online . I don't know what to do ? I just want the shoes that we paid for or lease our money back..

I've been buying Converse All stars for several years now.. and usually have been overall happy with them. With that said; the last few pair have been fairly low grade quality, not lasting long as previous pairs.
Yesterday I bought a pair and when I came home and tried them on, the fabric on the right shoe immediately broke/tore before finishing putting it on.

I'll most likely start looking for another brand after this happened. Cannot afford to keep buying something with blatant little - to - zero quality control. It's the principal of the matter! Thumbs down to All Star!

I work at the Converse in San Marcos and the entire place is a huge joke. Our manager spends the whole time on his cell and then gripes at us when things aren't finished the second we hit closing time. If I wasn't in college and didn't need the money, I'd quit.

I bought a pair of Converse shoes around 2 months ago. I already need to buy a new pair of shoes. I feel stupid. My last pair of converse lasted about 3 months... I told myself "don't buy Converse"... but I did... and as expected the quality is extremely poor. I don't use them for anything crazy. I am a student. I walk to school in them... I will never buy a pair of Converse again. Actually, this is the third pair...I JUST REALIZED...man am I ever dumb... I bought a pair in South Korea that also fell apart within 3 months... That's three pairs in a row that lasted less than 3 months.

If you are reading this comment Converse... You need to take steps to ensure that you are outsourcing production to companies that don't take short cuts. You cannot charge premium prices for a product that is clearly poor quality. For now this might be working for you... people are still buying them... and your costs are probably rock bottom(because you skimp out on quality)... but how long until you piss off half your customer base? Your strategy isn't viable in the long run. In 10 years from now when Nike sells you off because of your negative contribution... I am going to buy you out and fire your CEO... Your shoes sure are pretty though...

My friend recently brought me home a pair of Converse for my birthday, and I really love them. Earlier today, I discovered they were broken. They must have cost over 6O euro but I don't want to hurt her feelings and tell her. I have 4 other pairs of Converse and it's the first pair I've had a problem with. These are genuine Converse not fake, and I'm truly disappointed with them...

Below is the pictuure of them ...

I just bought a pair of converse shoes yesterday from a converse showroom at Ansal' s New Delhi for Rs. 1, 500, and they seem fake to me, it has no standard size, my shoe size is 6 and they sold me a 4 saying that the size is different cause the one's I own are made in Indonesia and the one's they sell are made in India. I did not pay much attention to the shoes while buying them but when i came back home i was looking for differences in my old one's and the new one's id bought and they did happen to have many. I am very disappointed that i ' v been sold presumably fake converse.

I purchased a pair of converse for my son in Sept., 8 weeks ago and the sole on the right foot came off. I couldn't believe it. I purchased the shoes at Kohl's and they will not return them. I'm out close to 50.00!
That was the first time I purchased converse and it will be my last time.
