This is the first time i order from this company Contactsamerica. It's a online purchase.the websit is www.contactsamerica.com and they have another web site call lens.com. It's the same company just different name.
Firstly it takes up to one month to process my order. I ordered on Sept 22. I have provided doctors information for them to get my prescription. However, I didn't hear from them in more than a week. about 10 days later i purposely went to my eye doctor and got prescription from him and faxed to Contactsamerica. So on and so on, this company keep delating my order with out contacting me. I have to keep emailing them every other day to ask for my order. They finally shipped my order on 10/22 with tracking # provided.
Web site offer different types of shipping and i have paid $7.95 for what they called Expedited Shipping. I expected expensive package like this should ship with signature require service and insurance. In case packing is lost or stolen customer can claim from postal service. However, this company is so unresponsible and just sent as regular mail. postal service just dropped out side of my building and package was stolen.
I have contacted usps and I was told since shipper didn't purchase insurance for this package (which will cost extra $3.00), They could not accept my claim.I Contact Contactsameria via email. My case was handle by different customer services and they have poor follow up. Seems like i just keep repeating my self until I reach Darrell (customer service of contactsamerica)He told me that the case was forwarding to their confirm and track department and it will take few days for investigation. I emailed Darrell again 3 days later and he told me again still under checking. It will take another 3 to 5 days. I was waiting and waiting. I didn't get any call back or email from him in next 7days. I have emailed him again and i have no more reply from him. Both me and my husband called this company. The customer services just told us once they shipped the package they are done with their job and there will be not thing else they can do. They refuse to send replacement or refund. They told us to call the post office to claim for the missing package which i have already did and post office couldn't accept my claim since shipper didn't purchase insurence. Contactamerica can not push all the responsibility to us. why can't they give me back my money and deal with post office for the claim? I tried to contact their manager and her name is Karen. The customer service keep telling me she's out, she's on another line and so on. I felt that they just tried to ignore me. I have left Karen 3 voice mail and didn't get any call back from her. I even sent her email and i didn't get any reply.
It's not fair for me because i have paid $ 258.56 and i have not receive any product. This company is so unreliable they even ignore customer when there is problem.
