Conn's Home Plus maytag washer

Problem:
I purchased a washer and dryer set. They were delivered on may 29th. Four days later I went to use the washing machine for the 1st time and it did not work. The latch would not lock. They delivered a defective washing machine to me. I contacted them immediately and informed them and they told me that I would have to get it serviced. I told them I did not want to pay for a defective washing machine. I purchased a brand new washing machine with the belief that it was in working order as expected. Conns refused to exchang the product and told me that I have to get it serviced. A serviceman came and told me that the entire control panel is defective and needs to be replaced. I once again called conns and informed them that they delivered to me a defective product and once again ask them to exchange it. They refused.

Conn's Home Plus lg lfx24623s refrigerator

I have had multiple issues and parts replaced on my refrigerator . Multiple serviceman has repaired different issues on my refrigerator. After my last repair I'm still having trouble. My refrigerator has E rF on it. My refrigerator is not cooling and my water and ice panel is not currently working. I had an appointment scheduled for 6/8/18 . Nobody called or came to my house . A no show. I want a new refrigerator not a LG brand. I want a refrigerator equal to the amount I paid.

My next step will be report this company to BBB and I will contract a consumer reporter at a tv channel.

Conn's Home Plus customer service/unauthorized credit inquiry

I visited a Conns on vacation in San Antonio Tx in March of 2018. One of the items I purchased was taken out of the box for the first time and it was damaged. The next day I immediately contacted Conns customer service and was given the run around for two months. I spoke to a lady named Mary from the San Antonio store that finally was able to speak with the Vice President and get a credit to my account where I was told to take the tv to the nearest Conns and exchange. Over the two months that I waited, I received horrible customer service from the customer service dept. I was given the run around, given wrong contact telephone numbers for repairs on tv, they mixed up what merchandise I was trying to get repaired, I was called a liar, I was harassed over three times daily about payments but promises for someone to call back from customer service were broken to me on many many occasions, notes from one call to the next were missing in customer service notes, some calls were notated other weren't. Finally I get to my nearest Conns store which I have previously filed a complaint on and never heard anything callback. For this also is the same reason I am complaining now. (running credit and horrible customer service) The manager had to contact the San Antonio store and was sent to read an email that stated I was to be given a credit in exchange for my merchandise. Unfortunately I am sad to say I did not leave the store with a tv and stayed inside the store for over and hour and 15 minutes for a simple exchange that did not happen. The manager pushed me off onto a sales associate that helped me find a tv. I told her what was going on and she sat me down like I was about to make a new purchase. She asked me what my social security number was and I immediately asked why did she need my social security number. She said she was looking up my account. I told her that is not how Conns looks up account information but that from my experience it was done by my phone number. I then asked her was she running my credit and she said No! I told her I did not want my credit ran especially on an exchange. She said No again that this is how she looks up my account she wasn't running my credit. She then stated that I must make a payment on my account before she can do anything else. I made the payment sat back down and she asked me for my social security number again, and I asked again was she running my credit and she said No! A few days later I receive notification that there was a recent credit inquiry from Conn's. I am very upset and feel like I was manipulated and deceived. I wasted my time and I still do not have my merchandise but am stuck with a credit inquiry and a bill that is higher than I should be paying and no one has contacted me.

Conn's Home Plus collection agency

Phone operator by the Name of Jaylen from the San Antonio location was very confrontational and rude over the phone regarding past due account.
Saying quote " can you even afford it?"
" you've only made like a payment and a half "

ReadIn off from the notes everything they have made contact with me and saying quote " you keep giving us the run around and said you were going to make a payment and ‘ that didn't happen so.. ‘

I asked her what her point was and stated that I'm confused as to why she's coming off confrontational and her response was quote " well I'm just trying to help bring your account out of collections and it looks like we didn't because you're still there "

Mind you this conversation with Jaylen the operator happened right after I was explaining the my situation with the operator who originally called me. I guess she put her on the line because she was having trouble getting a payment out of me so it seems as if Jaylen came on the line with a bit of anger or frustration. She really wanted to make it a point that I could not afford it and made hints at if I was working the right job.

I work in sales so the industry fluctuates. I've been in a rut with my finances but still work 70 hours a week. To start my Sunday off with a confrontational and bashing phone call from the Conns Homeplus team was not the way I intended to start my day.

I've been meaning everything right intention to catch up on my payments. It's a bed frame so I can sleep off the ground and a laptop computer from which I work. These are items I need and am happy to pay for.

After my experience this morning I'm not sure if I want to give anymore of my hard earned money to a place that made me feel worthless on my day off of work...

I hope to hear back from anyone who cares.

Conn's Home Plus living room furniture

I decided to end my rental agreement in February 2018. I called multiple times from February 25 until today and have yet to reach anyone willing to take my complaint. I've been trying to have the furniture picked up as I inherited some and they won't send anyone. They asked me to drop it off at a Rent A Center in Baton Rouge and they refused to take it. So after burning my own fuel not to mention the labor to load and unload it, it still sits wrapped up under my carport as it has since February and it's now May 15. I'll be calling corporate in the morning. This place is a JOKE! Never again.

Conn's Home Plus microwave

I have been trying to get a microwave for over a month and as of today it's still not repaired. I've been told a service manager would get in contact with me and to this day, I have not received a call. I've been transferred over to service managers and they never answer phone or even able to leave message.
today I receive a message that parts are in and I called to schedule to come back and and within 5 minutes of talking, I receive another text saying parts are being ordered. I raved the same msg last Wednesday when tech left.
This is the worse customer service I've ever had to deal with and the wait time is horrible. It's over 30 minutes each time I call. I was warned about purchasing from Conns. I will not ever purchase anything else from their.

Conn's Home Plus financial service & customer service

Unbelievably Horrible Customer Service! From the beginning the delivery people scratched the front of the refrigerator and tried to act like it didn't happen. The 12 month same as cash was absolute BS! The customer service agents are incompetent and rude AF! I asked on 2 different occasions for a member of management to contact me and it never happened. They are absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with, they are extremely polite and helpful in the store when they want you to make a purchase. But after that they treat you like crap.

Conn's Home Plus harassment and horrible customer service

due to a financial situation my husband and i have fallen behind on our account with conns.. they aren't very helpful when it comes to working with them. they cannot take a partial payment, hell they wont even take whatever we can give for a missed payment.. it has to be their minimum amount. ALL of the customer service reps are so rude. we are now behind on payments, and they will call daily every hour on the hour as early as 7am and as late as 9pm. beyond harassment! and each phone call is from a different number. some of the numbers you call back and it doesnt connect to anyone. is this even legal?

Conn's Home Plus 65 “ tv (unhappy customer)

Manager at the conns in houston tx Nancy Garcia was very rude and disrespectful as my family purchased a Tv and had to return it twice due to damages to the Tv the manager told us if we would have not damaged it she would not have to replace it again and never sends a sale person to help Asst finding another TV she also expressed that if we come back to her store she can't help us . Manager and staff need more training on working with customer service.

Conn's Home Plus refrigerator

I haven't had my Samsung fridge a year, and already I had to call Conn's for a service repair. My fridge stop working 4/2/2018. It has been two weeks of me spending money for food. It is now 4/17/2018, and my fridge is still not working. I called Conn's service repair 4/3/2018 they came 4/4/2018. Haven't heard from them since that first visit. Call customer service talked to Carla. Carla, wanted to talk about the fact if she extended my payment (cause it was due 4/14/2018) that I would loose my one year option pay off plan. Then she proceeded to say may I help you with anything else (or something like that) I stated you didn't do anything!.

Conn's Home Plus washer & dryer

My elderly aunt went in and purchased a washer and dryer and was never explained about all the extra fees added. When she called to cancel they said she would still have to make payments and would have to pay $200 and something for them to come pick up. This is complete bs she is 72 and they took advantage and failed to mention how much she'd actually be paying. The washer and dryer each were about $595 but the total amount owed was coming out to $3, 000 something! That is ridiculous!

Conn's Home Plus tv, repair and customer service

My TV broke on the 5 of February. It took approximately 12 days for the first technician to come out. After he came out it took another 2 weeks for him to come back. The screen was replaced and lasted about 2 hours. Another 12 days went by before another screen was installed with a power board. This time it last about 2 days. Me and my wife have made multiple calls to the Repair center with no response from Managers who have been left voicemail after voicemail, 12 to be exact. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company that advertises quick and courtesy service. Conn's is the epitome of a poor customer service. I will never purchase or recommend this company to anyone in the Civilian world or my fellow Soldiers in the Military. Conn's should be ashamed of there manipulate way of treating there customer. From the rude Customer service associates and all the broken promises of call backs( Lying). Your managers at your call center should learn to do there job professional and courtesy. Not one has done nothing. From the store I bought it from to the service I have received you get NO STARS from me.
If anyone who cares reads this and wants to talk please call me. I am sure that will NEVER happen.

Conn's Home Plus maytag dryer

I lost my Maytag washer and dryer due to Harvey flood. Iam still making payments on them. So I bought all new appliances from conns again and had them delivered about a week ago only to find inside my dryer wet instruction booklets! No not acceptable! I tried to talk to Port Arthur manager 2 times with no call back from them. I called the beaumont store only to be told it got wet in my new house somehow ! No I want a new dryer that hasn't been in a wet wearhouse. Please fix this. Iam paying you enough for good customer service

Very disappointed with customer service of Conns speaking from Years of Experience with Conns very sad that you wait over a Month to get a repair on a product purchased from Conns and the Fact that it is Not the first time Very disappointed. Have been a customer for Years with Conns very disappointed to see from Experience that Nothing has changed since then with Better Customer service

Conn's Home Plus store wants to sell me a open box used item for full price

Hello I was approved for $7, 500 yes money credit three days ago. I went to Conn's to make a small purchase for (1) Friedrich 13, 500 BTU Portable Heat/Cool Room Air Conditioner (PH14B) at the Conn's in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I was only doing it to build credit with your company and maybe in the near future I would purchase a new sofa set. The only PH14B portable air conditioner left in the store was an open box that was pre installed and returned for what ever reasons. I was going to purchase this item but since it's been used I ask the manager what kind of discount can he give me for this item and he said none. He wanted to charge me the full price for this item that was used. I feel that it's a ripoff, he could have worked with me on the price for a used item or given me something off the price that was used in someone's home. So now I have second thoughts about dealing with Conn's because of this. So is it right to be charge full price $579.99 plus tax and finance charge for an item with out the box and been pre installed at someones home. So I called the customer service office and they called the baton Rouge, store and the manager lied and said the item was not used. So I guess I will have to do business with Best Buy instead I guess.

Conn's Home Plus fridgidere french door

Since June I have had numerous of service repairs come to my house for the fridge getting too hot. Everytime my fridge breaks down it takes 1 month just to come out and not be able to fix it. I lose food every time.
Then I need to buy food that does not require refrigeration. This will be the 4th service call. I want a new fridge replacement. I will be searching and reporting this to BBB. I will continue to call until my fridge is replaced.

What is the exact model of the refrigerator you have? Do you have copies of the service claims every time the technician came out? Was there a defect found on each service call? The date and exact details of the service call may help. Do you have any form of extended service agreement through Conn's?

Provide the needed details and we can see what can be done.

Conn's Home Plus samsung washer

The service warranty is a ripoff! My wife and I have purchased many items and paid them off from conns. This is the first time we have had to use the service warranty. This experience has been the absolute worst. A service guy came to look at our washer and stated that he needed to order a new part and the the part would be in in 3 - 5 days. Well it has been 3 weeks! Every time I call I am being told they are waiting on the part. Apparently the first part got lost when I called another time I was told they ordered the part again I asked for the tracking number so I could track the part myself I was told she "thought" the part had been ordered but they would order it today. Mind you I had just called them 2 days prior and was told the part was ordered again. I called 3 days later (Since no one has yet to call me) asked to speak to the manager and was transferred to someones voice mail. Needless to say this will be the last time we ever purchase anything from conns. The service warranty is a ripoff!

Let's see if I can be of any help at all.

When this person came out to tech the washer, were they a Conn's employee or a subcontractor? What is the exact model of washer?

The problem may be on the side of Samsung, not the service center. Samsung is out of South Korea and if the part is proprietary, it may have been coming from a "slow boat from China" so to speak.

I am purchasing a washer and dryer from conns. The dryer is doing fine but the washer has been not spinning for months. I've spoken to service mangers numerous of times they've sent someone out 3 different times. And still i am having the same problem. But yet they want to get paid. Me and my wife have purchase and paid off so much with them. But after this is paid off i will never go inside of a conns stores. The experience that they have shown me will make a good paying customer bad. I wouldn't recommend them to no one. I will say go to the other lease to own places

Conn's Home Plus conventional oven

I purchased an over 900 dollar stove with a conventional oven along with 2 other big purchases at Conn's in McAllen, TX for a new home I purchased. The items were delivered but does not work, I called and spoke to the manager to have stove exchanged for a working one but I am told the service technician was needing to come out to the home to assess the issue. Technician orders parts for a "new stove" that has never been used. I called several times for days to have stove exchanged but keep getting told because report of non working appliance was given to them 6 days after item was delivered it can not be exchanged. I don't understand how you can not return a nonworking item that was delivered to you. If they want to fix a "new, broken" appliance they sold me, that to me is refurbished so why I am having to paying full price for a refurbished stove.
I am very unhappy and unsatisfied with how Conn's takes advantage of people by selling them non-working items and making you feel it's your fault.

Conn's Home Plus scotty willis, [protected] is # associated with account

I purchased around $.2700.00 worth of merchandise Oct 13, 2016, which turned into around 4000.00 with all the extra stuff y'all add. Anyway I signed the contract and went to warehouse to pick up my stuff, I picked up most of it, but was told one of the major items for a bed I ordered was not in stock, I was told to call back in a few days, and I did still nothing, after 2 months of waiting with no calls from Conns, and trying to pay in November, I finally was told the item I was sold was not in stock anymore, so I was asked if I wanted the slightly dinged up floor model which I hesitantly agreed too. This was December 10th 2016, I was told my account was active at this time, so in my mind one year from this date I would be able to pay the 12 month O interest deal. Well apparently y'all went by Oct 13 when I signed original contract that you sold me merchandise that you said you had but didnt. After a week of calling and trying to get Conns to see this is not correct and unfair, I have been denied yet again to get my O interest cash option started when I was told my contract was active, which was date I picked up merchandise. So sadly I will pay because I am a man of my word, but In past 3 years I've paid approximately 7000 dollars in money for for about 3500 worth of merchandise, but at this point I will not do business with Conns ever again, which up to this point had been very pleasurable. I hope you have a great Christmas and sorry your word is not your company policy. Good Day
