I purchased a car with financing through Condor Capital. The loan has been paid but they keep sending me statements saying I still owe $1400 and they will not release my title. The car is quite old and requires more repairs than are reasonable. I want to use it as a trade in but I can't get the title. How can I get the now defunct Condor Capital to release my title?

Been with them a year and a half and they haven't reporting my payment history on my credit report and now they just contacting me about a payment that was due a year and a half ago.

I purchased a 2006 Ford Fusion in 2010 from a used car dealership. I had gap insurance at the time that included loss of income, which meant in any event I was not able to make my installments, the car would be repossessed with no outstanding debt. I couldn't afford the installments after an unfortunate "layoff" and my vehicle was repossessed. It's now 2017 and I have a lien on my bank account. Worst of all this company was shut down in 2015 for business misconduct. I had a legal item removed from my credit report via investigation but this [censor] attorney misrepresenting a closed company can't seem to get that through his thick skull.

I need help. I am absolutely lost the what to do with this company. I continue to pay on my vehicle and they continue to tell me that I owe even more money on my account. I am completely exhausted with this company and I am not sure what else to do. I know that by the time I have paid off my car I would have paid for two vehicles. The only time I talked to someone at Condor was when I first bought my car and there was an issue with the loan. The person I spoke to was flat out nasty and very stupid. Since then, I will not talk to them. They send me emails demanding that I talk to them even when I am not behind. They just want me to kiss their butts. I would like to point out that I pay an extremely high interest rate because I pay slowly, but they demand that I pay perfectly and they get all of the interest too! GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY!

My loan was just transferred to Westlake Financial November 2014, and Condor Capital reported that the account was sent to collections! Thus, lowering my credit score! Mad? I am furious! To talk to someone in the legal department is like trying to pull teeth! I sent the company an email demanding that the UNTRUE and NEGATIVE report be removed IMMEDIATELY! I will wait only a minimal amount of time to see if this happens. I check my credit score daily! If you are reading this, and have not done business with this company, take my advice, and RUN! Run away from this company as fast as you can! If you are still a customer, GET OUT anyway you can!

When I got my loan thru condor capital, I didn"t know it was a sub-prime loan, I actually had just paid off a few big debts, so I was in pretty good shape.. I am pretty sure the dealership somehow benefited from me going thru these people. Yes they are under investigation for fraud and other poor business practices.. I hope they shut them down.

Yup...I had the same thing happen with Condor Crapital...er...Capital.

I re-financed my loan from them with a local credit union for a much better rate. When I inquired about my overpayment refund (a rather nice amount, for that matter), I was told that I wouldn't receive a check until September (!).

I also found out that they were not reporting positive payments to one of my credit bureaus.

Screw it. I reported them to the NY Banking Division. Whether it will do anything or not, I don't know...but I figured that if I could cause them more issues, it'd be worth it.

I received financing through Condor Capital in Jan 2013. I have had no problem with them until I decided to refinance the loan due to the lawsuit brought against them. Well I was able to refinance with another company quickly and I found out that Condor Capital owed me a refund due to overpayment. The finance happened in May 2014. I called Condor Capital in late June to find out when my refund would be issued. They told me that it would take at least 90 days to issue a refund. They have to wait 30 days for the pay off check to clear and then it takes another 60 days to reconcile the account. That is absolutely crazy, not only do they have the money for my payoff they also have the money they owed me which they get to collect interest on. I am thinking if you do this with enough account you will have a pretty healthy bank account. So glad I am done with them.

Well Well Well Condor Cap is in trouble with The State of New York. I urge all of you to file complaints with the New York State Department of Finance. Time to Shut these shady M.F.s down.

I can never get through to anyone at Condor. When they call me or my wife they are rude and very condescending. The math they use is very way off. I have never dealt with such evil mean and inconsiderate people. I leave messages every day and they never call me back. Please think twice about using this company for your auto financial needs.

I filed bankruptcy because I got behind on my car note then by bankruptcy was dismissed I called them to see if I could put past due amount at the end of my loan and they told me that they didn't do I have never heard of a company that don't do that. They threatened to get my car I even told them I could send in my monthly payment they refused to take it they only wanted the full 6500 I don't have that kind of money

My husband and I recieved a letter yesterday informing us of the same exact thing. We expected that the car would be paid off, but instead they require over $3, 000.00 in "interest". We paid late fees when the payment was late. I read all of the paper work from the sale of the car, but it just lists the interest rate, and a late fee of $10.00 to be paid. We paid online as well. The paper work has some very vague wording about what they might do to you if you do not pay at all, but there is no mention of this extra interest. We called Condor Capital and the girl on the phone said she was trying to be polite to us. I could not understand this, since we were not being mean or loud, but it was the representative of this company who could not tell us anything, except that when you do not pay on time, your interest rate changes and goes "up very high" as she put it. The best thing ever would to have made all payments on time, however we did not and it would have been great to know about this changing interest rate. It was not stated on the paper work anywhere. I would not ever do business with Condor Capital, not only are they crooks, but there representatives do not know anything about the company they work for.

These are the reasons they have been SHUT DOWN! They are ###.. and what goes around.. I paid them voluntarily to keep my car after filing ch.7, in 2014 ...the car was discharged so I did not have to pay them but did so to keep the damn car! I recently got a letter from the trust co. to collect the debts by condor cap.. I surrendered this car, am NOT paying another cent..they want another $13, 900 in 30 days! are you kidding? I REMINDED them of the discharged debt..they said at time of loan in 2013 my credit was bad.. I told them to come get the car or I will go to DMV, file for the title on an ABANDONED vehicle if they don't come get it in Mass., and I will have the car free and clear! and so how come I got a 2016 car at 0.9% interest rate? They haven't come yet! This costs them more than the trouble I caused THEM!
