Conair-store, the online store for Conair products, will tell you they will ship your product "standard shipping" and will charge you a percentage of your purchase price. Their definition of "standard shipping" is nowhere to be found on their website. A supervisor "Jennifer" confirmed that nowhere on their website is it posted that it takes seven to fourteen business days for the item to be delivered under their "standard shipping." I spoke to Edwina at UPS who told me my vendor (Conair-store) chose something called "basic" delivery, which is slower even than their ground service. By purchasing this service from UPS, the ven dor is allowing UPS to pass your parcel off to the post office which then allows the USPS two full days to deliver it to you. So Conair's "standard shipping" is ground, plus two business days. I was told UPS considers it's ground service to be "standard" shipping. Conair charged me $7.95 for postage and handling for their "standard shipping" and then paid UPS to ship it at a substandard service. The reason for my posting this complaint is the poor customer service I received today, January 20th. The snotty "supervisor" Jennifer told me there is nowhere on Conair's website that they tell you they will take seven to fourteen days to send you your item. She was unprofessional and unsympathetic and said there is nothing she can do for me, and that I should have selected second day air. I said I would have if I had known or been advised by Conair that they would take almost two weeks to get my item to me. They feel they don't have to tell you that. I got no customer service at all and a snotty person at that. I do almost all my shopping on line now, and this is the worst customer service I have ever received, having something shipped to me. I will never shop on line at Conair again and will tell everyone I know about their poor customer service.
