Competent Motors- / Mishandling of my car during free service
I had approached competent motors Patparganj for 2nd free service of my Swift car which was purchased in Dec 2006 in the morning of 15 june 07. By afternoon I get a phone call 4m the service center that their has been a damage in the car door and that I may come there 4a short while and co-operate with them by putting up a claim. They agreed to bear the recurring losses that i may have for coming years over no claim bonus on insurance. They agreed to refund the money of No Claim Bonus for the coming year and give a letter of assurance to bear the difference in insurance amount in case no claim is made in subsequent years. They got the insurance papers signed by me and did not give the letter first, saying that "I should give Respect to the old man's (Manager) WORDS. " To my utter surprise when I went to collect my car and the promised money and papers they outrightly backed out to give the assurance letter to bear subsequent loss, if any. They gave the assured money but with lot of subsequent arguments over the new dent in my car , which according to them was there even earlier but the concerned supervisor had INADVERTENTLY IGNORED and HAD FORGOTTEN to highlight it in the job card.
Such an unprofessional approach from one of the best dealers of Maruti! Later I came to know through others that SUCH MISHAPS are common there !! So is the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER CARE!!! Through UNFILLED COMPENSATIONS!!!
