We stayed at the Comfort Suites of Mackinac City MI. It was a very disappointing trip. When we first arrived the room we reserved was given away so they wanted to upgrade us for a "small fee" after I protested a lot we were given the bigger room for the price of the one we reserved.

Then we were informed that a wedding was going on in the motel's breakfast room, so we were sent to another motel in town for breakfast. We were using the pool and other guests were smoking and drinking beer in glass bottles in the pool area, the front desk was notified and their answer was "thats allowed". There was vomit in the hallways, and rodent droppings on the counter. I called the company and informed them of my problems, they did spend $4.64 to send me a certified letter telling me that there was a "misunderstanding" with all parties involved.

I stayed at one of your ATL based Comfort Inns in the month of February and checked in at about 11PM. I signed the papers and was told that the total with taxes and all was to be $49.00 and I would get a copy at check out in the morning. When I went to my room, the TV didn't work nor the free wireless internet. I went to the desk to complain and there was a new guy to tell me that he didn't have the athority to give me a new room but he would let the manager know in the morning which did me no good since I'd be gone so I guess I was stuck. I got up in the morning to work out in there world class excerise room and everything they had was broken and was told by a construction worker who had been staying there for over 2 months that it has never been in working order the entire time he has stayed there.
When I checked out in the morning, I got a copy of my bill and it was over $60.00 after I was told that with all other charges, it would be $59.
As far as I'm concerned, if it were $59., that would have been $59. too much.

We just got back from a trip to Carlsbad New Mexico, we stayed at the Comfort Inn there. First of all when we made the reservations through Expedia for a 2 day trip, the estimated total before taxes was $210.00, when we get to the room to check in my husband cant use his card because the hotel took the liberty of putting $700.00 on hold for the reservation. The staff was rude and unhelpful. The room was upstairs and non smoking, I had requested smoking, and there was only one way into the hotel and that was downstairs. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I will never stay at Comfort Inn again. They need to have an entire overhaul of their customer service team because frankly, they dont deserve a penny from me or anyone else traveling.

I had stayed at the Comfort Inn Airport in Revere, Ma. - to take advantage of the Airport Shuttle - about a year and a half ago. I had thought everything was fine until they charged my card again this week.

I called Choice Hotel directly - was told they could not help - and was tranfered to the Hotel in Revere. They told me they were busy and took my phone number and said someone would call me back ... still waiting ...

Hope they do not have a problem leaking card numbers ...
