I was so frustrated with the services provided by this Hospital (COLUMBIA ASIA -MALAYSIA-BUKIT RIMAU). Dated on 6 Mar 2012 @ 8pm, i brought my new born baby girl (5 weeks) went to this hospital with an appointment (confirmed 8pm) made earlier (via telephone) to meet the doctor (Dr. Cheah Cheong Wooi -Consultant Pediatrician) due to rashes all over her face, head, hands, & neck. We reached @ 8pm, waited 1 hour. It's 9pm, i spoke to the on duty staff (nurse), asking her how long more need to wait. She told me another 7 patients (which will take about another 2 hours to go - with 20 mins each patient). At that time, my baby start crying for milk, afterall cry until she start vomitting. I asked her why so many patient, she said they are all walk in with no appoinment made, and they will treat as first come first serve basis. I was a bit frust, why i was no been told in the first place when i made the call for appointment, if i knew earlier, i will come in as earlier as possible, instead of waiting until 8pm. AND there is no point for me to make the appoinment. I make a request to allow me to see the doctor first since my baby is vomitting, but they disallowed & insisted me to keep waiting for another 2 hours. This is really rediculous, wasting time, inefficient arrangement of the hospital. AND when i asked the on duty staff (1 Malay named Nurul, and another Indian without name tag), they don't even bother to apology, and telling me to proceed to make complaint (with rude faces). I was trying to serach for the Hospital website & make a complaint on this issue, but i could't get any way for me to do so. Until i saw this web, and i do really hope & appreciate this web would be able to help me. Million thanks.

Very frustrated wth the rekod department...want to ask for a copy of Patients discharge letter said have to wait for one weeks...but after 2weeks call up...still not yet done...what is going on?who is not doing work?or because its foc, ...what type of services is the hospital having? Very disappointed... Before doctors want to show Power pls think of the customers that paying the bill first. they paying ur salary too...upset patient

Its 2016 now and having read the complain in 2012, same lousy staff they have there. Was passed to clinic nurse and can hear background chit chatting. Wanted to make appointment, was transfer twice and line cut off. Call again, transfer to appointment and was cut off again. Call again, appointment line no one pick up. Called again and was informed appointment close after 5pm. Wtf. How good doctor is useless if columbia after so many years still have same staff mentality. Though I stay in kota kemuning, enough is enough, going to sjmc. management have likely deaf ears or dont take our word for it, try calling once in a while and u will understand.

I am sorry that you have a bad experience but Dr. Cheah is really a good "magic" doctor that worth waiting for. Well, in your case that your LO was sick and needed to see him, the nurses should make swift adjustment. Other than that, I usually go earlier for booking. I am at ease with him seeing my girl.

ITS REALLY ONE OF THE WOREST HOSPITAL I EVER SEEN AND I HAVE ADEFFRENT ISSUE WITH THEM IN MIRI BRANCH BUT I WILL MAKE SURE TO COMPLAIN THEM IN ALL THE PROPER CHANNEL FOR THE BAD THEY GIVE TO MA

I had similar experience with Dr. Cheah staffs to, usually there will be around four of them sitting down gossiping and yet they claimed they are very busy!

I had a similar experience like you. Appointment had been made before going, at the end I waited for the orthopedic doctor nearly two hours. There were only two or three out-patients waiting for him. The nurses told me that the doctor was busy to meet the in-patients but I saw him just walking around, ignored us. My husband and I really felt disappointed and frustrated. Then made a big compliant to the front desk, consequently I did not see the doctor and went to Pantai Hospital.
This kind of service really shamed the private hospital. They charge high price for better/ excellent service, but their service was worse than govt hospitals.
