On 8th March about 4.30pm I went to Color Culture (OPI nail bar) at Pavilion to redeem a free gift as per their Alice In wonderland advertisement in GSC. The promotion banner did not mention gifts are available until stock lasts. So when I approached the shop one of the employee (I believe a color artist) told that they dont have anymore. So I told them, but your advertisement does not say anything about while stock last. I then asked is there any other branch I can get this offer redeemed as I vaguely remembered mention about another branch.

She replied "no" first and then checked with her superviser without asking me to wait and continued to talk back with her other friends who were standing together chit chatting at the counter. The way she responded my question as well as ignored me made me unhappy. So I told them this is not right, you did not mention about this - this is like cheating and I walked off (as they are not serving/paying attention to me anymore).

After walking about a hundred meter I returned back to the shop and I asked that particular person her name and told her I wish to complain as I found her service inappropriate. She said she wont tell her name and she told me that I was rude. So I asked the supervisor what Is the girl's name. The supervisor did not tell the girl's name as well and told that she was over phone when this whole incident happened.

So I told the girl and the supervisor that when I asked about if other branch offers same promotion the answer should not be "no" if she does not know. The answer should be "please wait a while, let me check back with my supervisor". Besides I really did not like how the girl behaved. At this point the girl who was standing there told, you complain you complain la. At this point I told them, ok, since you wont tell your name I will take all the call card that is available here and I will file a complain for bad service.

The call cards I took was - Cindy Cheang, Vivian Teh, Sammy Ong, Grace Woon, Janice Soh. The girl responsible was short bob hair with thick black glass.

I found the overall service and behavior rude as well as their promotion misleading. If the promotion depended on availability of the stock, it should be mentioned. I believe this will mislead many other people who will get disappointed just like me and end up facing bad behavior from the employees.

Well this is not new to many other Pedi/Meni outlets or services. I had paid for my SPA service for Pedi and it caused my RM220, but what i got there was just another ordinary service with not much detail given for beautifying my feet, instead the girl who was doing my Pedi kept asking about my personal details. Later she even pester my boyfriend to get me a full package from her. So places like this just promote to be good but they hire unprofessional people to attend to us. Mainly disappointed.

I have to agree with you that their customer service is very deplorable. I walk in on Wednesday (weekday!) and the girl said "come back at 1pm". I was like how come you do not cater for walk in client. She insist that I should call and make an appointment, however most other outlets (that are doing pedi / mani cure) are very obliging and does not requried an appointment. And I spoke to their manager, it appears that she herself fail to understand the client requirements as she replied to me that you are not their customers! How "customer oriented!"

After much hesitation, I decided to return at 1pm, however I arrived at 10 minutes to 1pm and the girl (her name is Yien) replied "Another 15 minutes more, you are early" has she not heard the saying, "Better late than never"

Anyway, she failed to inform me that the treatment I received was a "spa pedicure" which is more expensive ie about RM130, nothing really special, just like a "face mask".

I wont be returning to this outlet once my package is complete!

I was one of the lucky one who got their free gift after I watched the movie on 6th March late evening. When I fill up my particulars, i noticed that I was #95 of the 100. As I recalled, the promotion banner did mentioned limited to 1st 200 customers only - redeem at Colour Culture Pavilion / 1 Utama.

I quickly informed my friends on this promotion in GSC and one of them went to 1U on the next day. Unfortunately, the promotion is already finished as they only limited to 100pcs.

Lucky me..
