Tonight I was astonished, but especially devastated that Coles (South City Shopping Centre/Wagga Wagga) is no longer selling Lan Choo loose leaf tea. I am 53 years of age and our family (plus many other families that I know...) have always had this brand of tea in their home. It was my grandmother's favourite brand, it is still my mother's favourite and also my own. It is not too strong in flavour and it is not too weak. It is a perfect blend and I am really disappointed. We have two commercial businesses that sell hot beverages and we use Lan Choo loose tea leaves in both. Now we will have to sadly use another brand. I certainly hope you never take the step of not selling only tea bags as these have little or no taste. I spend literally thousands of dollars in Coles each year and because you have removed this item, I will probably head into Woolworths to shop because they are still selling Lan Choo tea in their supermarket. Australia has a long history with LanChoo tea and I seriously think that you should reconsider this decision and put it back on the supermarket shelf.

Kind Regards

I'm also upset that Coles has largely stopped supplies of Twinings Earl Grey loose leaf tea. I rang a number of times & finally they said it had been deleted. I then rang Twinings who didn't know this and were going to get their marketing people onto it. Eventually I found one of the Coles (Glenferrie Road, Malvern) now has reinstated this item but my local Coles at Tooronga Village has not. This is an item which always sold out when on special ahead of all the other flavours! Figure that!

I too have used this tea for many years as did my 95 yo mother. Most upset when Coles stopped stocking this tea and unfortunately have to go to Woolies now!
