1st Fraud
Right from the start I should of picked it up. The ONLINE Reservation system is NOT connected to any thing. You write in your name and pick a time and store for your appoinment but when you get to the store they had no idea you were coming.
2ndFraud
When you buy glasses at COHEN in Smith haven mall NY the charge is aroung $500 or more for good glasses, . This is because of double charging. In the manufacturing process of lenses the SCRATCH FREE COATING is the same coating put on in the TRANSITION process. They simply charge you $125 for transition lenses and $125 for coating . you DONOT need to pay for scratch free coating if your getting transition lenses.
Please verify this for me, I'm 99 % sure this is so.

Beware of these crooks. As a part of "promotional offer" they offered 30% discount on the glasses that they provided The sales rep mentioned that they will not charge my insurance, so I pay $525 for 2 pair of glasses ( 2n pair is free ). I check back after a few months and I see that they charged my insurance and charged me again. So ended up paying 525 + 319 = $944 for 2 pair of glasses.
Never go to them ever ..

I have been back and forth to this location multiple times because they are rude an incompetent. I was misinformed the first time about what frames I could select. I picked the best choice out of all the horrible choices. After getting the glasses I realized the lenses were too narrow to wear all day everyday. I went back in to exchange an the girl wanted me to buy a second pair instead. She showed me the expensive frames an when I tried to look at other options she would make faces an tell me I should keep what I have. I called customer service an they said the manager would like to help me out. Another 410$ later I come to find out these frames can't desuct the 80$ credit insurance pays because they are close out. I questioned if my insurance company was going to be billed for glasses I returned. Their answer I could pick a second pair of glasses for free. No they are not for free my insurance paid for them an if I didn't say anything they were going to pocket that money.

I visited their store in Lake Grove. during the first visit I was prescribed glasses which I was told I need to wear all the time. When it came time to purchase frames, the sale representative only showed me the expensive pairs. Nothing below $300.so I bought them since apparently I didn't have any other options. When I went to pick them up, the prescribed lens didn't work. A diff doc did the eye test for the second time n told me I don't need to wear glasses all the time and he changed my prescription. I decided to change the frames since I didn't want to invest money in to something that I need to wear while watching television. The sales representative this time, decides to show the cheaper pairs ( which I wasn't shown the first time). In addition now they tell me that I can't pick up frames covered by my insurance ( which r free for me). The customer service doesn't respond to my emails. This is v disappointing n I feel cheated.
