Clicks Retailers injury in clicks store

on 6 November 2018 at 08:05 my mother, Salome Snyders entered the Clicks store situated at Selcourt Towers in Selection Park in Springs. There was a warning notice at the front entrance warning about wet floors, whilst the cleaning lady was mopping the floor at the back of the shop. Whilst mopping one section of the shop she had wet the floor running the whole length of the shop. My mother slipped and fell, sustaining contusions and bruises to her left hip and is now having difficulty walking. The shop manager who witnessed the incident never came to see if my mother was ok, and only asked as she was leaving the shop.

Clicks Retailers online order service

After having had numerous unpleasant "in-person" experiences at Clicks retails shops, I thought to try out the online "non-personal" order service -
AND I am happy to report that I am extremely impressed with the Clicks Online Order Service!
I created a profile, and placed my order online @ www.clicks.co.za on Tue, 30 OCT18 at 09:10, and received e-mail confirmation detailing my order, within 30 seconds of having placed it. As the total value of my order exceeded R450.00 delivery was specified as being for free. The order number I received was: [protected].

I opened the parcel (which included eye shadow and a bottle of Milton), and found all of the products in perfect condition!
WOW! From now on I will most definitely ALWAYS make use of their online order facility, and will HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!

Clicks Retailers terrible customer experience

Its such a disappointment that i have to take time out of my precious time to write this complaint that needs to be addressed accordingly and I need response urgently on the matter.
I walk into the clicks store in chatsworth to return a non working iron and security guard attends to me and sends me to customer service.
I get to the service desk and there is no one, i didnt wait for long till an african gentlemen who has a name badge that says "Manager"comes to the desk and totally ignores and starts dealing with his paper work. After a while he asks me what i need and i start by greeting him and tell him i need help. He asks me to wait because he is still busy he will call someone, which he did but that person took their own time until he eventually helped me. They change my iron and gave a me a new iron and I asked if i can get a packet, they ask if i came with one, i said no but i want to buy one. They then tell me i have to buy something to buy a plastic packet. I went to the fridge and took ice tea and went back to the counter. A lady who is a cashier and was working next to the service desk infront of this so called manager with such attitude tells me that my transaction is finished since i am doing a new transaction i have to go and follow the queue. Which they had only one cashier and one customer on the queue. This manager just stood there and said nothing with how his staff spoke to me knowing well i have been waiting long while they were dragging their feet to help me. I had to leave everything and walked out without a packet and this person who is a manager of the store did absolutely nothing. That is how they viewed me as a customer as an irritation and of no value to them. Its so disappointing and i would like this manager to give me a call to apologise. And perhaps have management trained on how to deal with customers. He appeared very incompetent and didnt care at all about me as a client. My number is [protected]

Clicks Retailers asthma pump

yesterday i bought a asthma pump and lansoloc from clicks west gate, when i got home the asthma pump was in a box but there was no packet that it was wrapped in
and it seems like it was already used and i threw my receipt away and needed to use it urgently this is very unacceptable as i never knew till i got home as they put everything in one packet and seal it so i can pay at the counter

Clicks Retailers clicks digital pregnancy test

I was also a victim of the digital pregnancy test - I bought mine on the 1st of October which showed a positive. I then went to my GP for a scan who advised it might be too early as he could not pick up anything.

I then bought three more pregnancy tests which all came out negative.

How does such happen? And should one not be refunded for all these costs?

Clicks Retailers vitality reward

Good day
I have received a Vitality R100 reward voucher. When I wanted to use it at the Clicks in Dihlabeng Mall in Bethlehem, they said they do not know how to redeem the reward, they are waiting for the people to give them training. Please assist because I have contacted Vitality and they said the personnel is supposed to know how to redeem the voucher

Clicks Retailers sorbet special

I just bought at clicks wingtip.I do not agree wit the fact that it states on the shelf, buy 3 for 2 and get cheapest free, it states excl make up, make up brushes and 100ml fragrances.I took a face wash, mask and day cream.At the till they said I dont qualify for special, it all needs to be on the same shelf? The facewash and daycream was on same shelf and mask on different shelf but there is no make up brushes on the shelf aswell.Just feel it is false advertising because it stated ALL SORBET PRODUCTS EXCL make up brushes, make up and 100ml fragrances.Very confusing.

Clicks Retailers product quality

I bought clicks smartlife cocoa and coconut bar I used my clubcard here is the number [protected] 2 to purchase three of them so yesterday when I was eating the last bar I almost broke my tooth trying to chew a very solid component inside the bar and I realised that it was a hardened nut am so much disappointed since I used to work for the clicks group and I still go about recommending it this just made me to feel sad.

Clicks Retailers makeup section clicks rosebank

Hi, I visited the store at 9am this morning for the launch of The Makeup Revolution in SA. The staff at the make up counters ( 3 ladies) were very busy looking in the mirror and applying their own makeup from the testers that are on display that they couldn't assist. When I finally got assistance I was told that the products would only be on sale after 10am. Then they carried on applying their make up. Yes, all 3 of them!
Although inconvenient, I went back later. 2 ladies were still busy, one was applying the others makeup. The third, who tried to assist me had little product knowledge and eventually called one of the two busy ladies.
I find this extremely unprofessional on three counts. Firstly, the shop assistants are there to assist customers, not assist each other in their own makeup application. Secondly, when you arrive at work, you should be ready to work, not get ready at work! Thirdly, the testers are for customers to test the products before purchasing, not for staff to beautify themselves. It's a pity The Makeup Revolution chose Clicks. I really hope they open a stand alone store with knowledgeable make up assisants who are interested in assisting and selling products as opposed to their own personal styling. So disappointed in Clicks Rosebank. Please feel free to review video footage.

Clicks Retailers clicks sun protect 50, water resistant

Good day, I have a problem with this product, I am not satisfied as this product indicates SPF 50 Water Resistant which it is not, I burned through this product.

Please take it off your shelves as it is false advertisement, I am very disappointed in this product, it is untrustworthy, as I take your word for it on the product.

Also Water Resistant, I was not even close to the water so imagine, and I am an adult what about the kids?

I also used it for my face, and that was Yesterday, my eyes was burning the whole day, and is actually till this moment still sensitive.

Clicks Retailers extremely bad client service

I visited Suncardia Clicks today and stood in the Self Medication queue. I was the only person in the queue with a few clients in the Prescriptions queue. All the Pharmacists were busy with clients so I was waiting to be called next. When a till opened the lady called someone from the Prescriptions queue although I was standing right in front of her the entire time. I sked her what about the Self Medications queue and she said she does not know and ignored me further. I walked away asking for the manager. The Manager of the store apologized and said there is only one queue seeing that there is only 2 Pharmacists on duty. I asked that they then just indicate this as there is now sign or way that I could have known this. Then a guy from behind the counter shouted at me that it is people like me that creates confusion. If I have looked I would have seen there is only one queue. I told him that I saw it but I assumed it was all people waiting for prescriptions. He said that customers don't now what they want they stand wherever they want and now I'm just making a scene (which I was not...I was just enquiring.) Why did the lady who saw me standing there the entire time not just indicate to me that they are using only one queue? She just ignored me as if I'm not even there and called the client form the other side. I again waited in the queue and when the lady in front of the counter was finished the lady behind the counter just walked away leaving her counter open. This was I assume just to show me that she will not help me anyway. I then saw that the guy that was shouting at me from the back had a name plate on and was a Mr. Nkuna (The Pharmacy Manager.) This is truly very disappointing. I work in the same building and have heard many complaints about the pharmacy personnel - this was however the first time I have ever seen such bad behavior towards clients. Clicks Pharmacy will not see me again. I will rather go to van Heerden's Pharmacy even if I have to pay more. At least they make me feel valued.

Clicks Retailers toiletries

Hello last week friday I bought some toiletries online.They sent me an email to confirm my order, stating that it will be delivered in 1-3 days of working hours.I waited then on Tuesday they emailed me saying my order will be ready in 1-5 days and I was so furious.Then today I called and asked about my order they said it was out yesterday but they did not inform me.They also said I must have a pin code that they sent it to me by text, I said I didnt get it what can I do.Their response was they dont resend text.I must have my ID number and go to the store.So I went just 15 minutes later I recieved my order the text with that Pin came in..I mean Clicks really sucks when it comes to online shopping.Its my first n the last time I buy from Clicks online

Clicks Retailers pharmacy

I went into the Clicks store in Rosebank. I asked for a bottle of benylin with codeine. The counter assistant said that you had to have a prescription. I pointed out that this was not in fact the case. He then told me that it had been rescheduled to schedule 3. Again I told him he was talking rubbish. He then pulled up the screen for the medication and at the bottom it stated "Schedule ! - schedule too high - please ignore we then went round the prescription thing again. He then said that he could give me a bottle if he felt like it and then carried on lying about the scheduling and the prescription.Nobody in their right mind would pay R520 to a doctor to get a prescription for a bottle of cough mixture that costs R84.00 I asked for the manager and was forced to wait for 35 minutes. when he came along he gave a speech about how he was a custodian of the medication and if you used it for longer than eight days blah, blah. I didn't want a speech. I wanted one bottle of schedule 2 medication. I walked out of Clicks angry and frustrated.

Clicks Retailers security / employers

On 9 september i went to your silverwater branch. I paid at 13:37. When i went in the store the security machine went off, but no one took notice. I have a passmaker for over 3 years and you can imaging how many stores heard the biep biep sound but never was questions asked when i explain that i have a pacemaker. But today 9 september i had the most rude and unacceptable experience ever. A gay whose name is ishmael maluleba. (dont know whether he is a employee of clicks or security since as he had no indentificastion badge)! when i left the store the machines bieped again! i gave him my slip to ensure him i did not steal any thing, all of a sudden a women start searching my handbag and could not get nothing wrong either! he was still very demanded that i was guilty of stealing! the next moment ishmael mulueba looked at my body from head to tone! the next moment he demanded me to show him the actual place where the pacemaker is implanted is on my body! i he ignore my explanation again and just said "show . Me and then you can leave" what he wanted is for me to open my clothes so he can see the actual place and scares- actually the scar for all to see ! i couldn't believe the audacity that he wants to take my cloths off where the scar is or proof of operation for him. Shortly after the demanded a female employee say that she want to check my handbag and obviously again nothing found! i lost myself worthines and exposed. Ismeal maluleba belittled me infront of at leas't 40 other clients! itnteresting that the biep biep sound went off twice and nothing was done! i ask to speak to a manager elliott lehobjye -he was packing the shelves and showed very little interest in what just happend! i was so traumaties that i got in my car and never bought my daugter's the necessities for a assignment that must be finished the next day 10 september.
I lady who overheard the "argument" said i must take it up with the highest level! which i'm going to if do"
i can easily use all my human rights which he denied. I want this matter been attended to at your soonest. Hellopieter and media will get involved if proper attention is not given.

Clicks Retailers customer service at clicks constantia village

Firstly I want to thank the pharmacist Vanessa Swart at Clicks Constantia for her amazing empathetic assistance. I am an addict in recovery as well as having a psychiatric prognosis. It is really important that I take my medication every day. Unfortunately I was unaware of the one medication finishing today (8 September 2018) and at 16h40 called Clicks as I knew that they were closing at 17h00. I spoke to the pharmacist on duty, Vanessa Swart asking her if I could please come to collect my medication and that I would be there just before 17h00, after apologizing profusely for my being there so late. Vanessa handled it beautifully and I felt calm after speaking to her. I called Clicks again and let them know that I was in the parking lot and finding a parking. By the time I got to Clicks there were 3 minutes to spare. Vanessa was waiting for me at the door. Welcoming me in. I apologized to the staff there and let them know that I was very grateful for them helping me. The front of house staff who don't work in the dispensary however made a point of trying to make it known that closing time is 17h00 and not 17h02. They continued to make an issue out of it. Making me feel really bad after I had apologized to each of them. They had no respect for both myself and Vanessa who is the pharmacist on duty. Again, I take ownership for the fact that I arrived 3 minutes before 17h00. But I don't think its the staffs duty to berate, belittle, discipline, guilt or shame me. Never-mind one of their colleagues. In general I have always had very good relationships with my pharmacist. But have on numerous occasions been let down by the staff in the shop its self. This is also not the first time that I have been treated really poorly by Clicks staff. I incurred another incident prior to this when I was in the store at the till 10 minutes before closing time. The till staff member was very rude and threw my card on the counter back at me, while the staff waited at the door glaring at me. This was 10 minutes before closing! I'm not sure who heads up the training for Clicks front office, but their levels of understanding or caring lack in an industry that will often have people who are not well walking through their doors. I'm pretty brand loyal and have not left Clicks for Dischem because of that loyalty. But I am being pushed to change that notion as well. Nothing worse than walking out of a store like Clicks feeling as though you have been disciplined by your headmaster.

Clicks Retailers clicks 18 rolls toilet paper

The last 2 packs of 18 rolls clicks brand toiletpaper i have bought from Winkelspruit Clicks, the brown cardboard inner slides out from the centre of the roll.This cause the whole roll to becomes misformed and difficult to use. With little ones it becomes a mess and lots of toilet paper gets wasted. The inner roll seems to be too small and the toilet paper not tight enough around the inner.

My problem is that i buy this toilet papwr because it is good quality at a good price. I go to Clicks especially just to buy the toilet paper, but am willing to pay a little bit more at another retailer for better quality.

Clicks Retailers toilet rolls

Hi I am a regular happy customer of clicks for years now. I don't have any issues or problems with any of their stuff or products. Just recently i notice the toilets rolls i bought wasn't the same as it comes soft soft and cuddly to use and handle. Now is the second time that i got the same product happening twice in the space of 1 month. This time i had to let management and complains dept know that this is not how it comes.. it is not differently the same product i used to buy for years. Wednesday 29 Aug 2018 i shopped at South gate shopping mall and i bought 3 packs of 18 rolls of the 2-ply and it is hard and not rolled properly. I opened one of the pack the other is still sealed and the other given to my mom. I would you to please do some thing about this as i had a recent stroke and i used the toilet roll to wipe my nose as the result i have a sore on the beginning of my nose. I would appreciate if you can this serious and look into this please and i will happy if you can come and see the toilet rolls for yourself as i still have it with me. Clicks Retailers makeup assistant

Good evening, I shop at clicks once a month. Sometimes more than that. I predominately shop at Rivonia village. Every time I go to the makeup section, there is seldom if never an Assistant in that section. Yet at morning glen clicks and clicks in Randburg there is always attention to customers. Today was particularly frustrating where the infamous makeup Assistant spent a significant amount of time on a friend from the neighboring shop to put makeup and walk out. Also, when she was done she passed me a few times without offering assistance. As a paying customer I find it outrageous that a none paying friend of the Makeup Assistant is given so much attention and allowed to walk out as if on a social visit.

Clicks Retailers clicks worcester mall

Hi

I have two complaints. I visited the Clicks at the Worcester Mall on Saturday 25/8/2018.
The first Items I bought was earbuds on a buy 2 get one free. The price on the shelf is R12.99 per packet. When they rung it up at the till I was charged R16.99 per packet. If I did not pick this up I would have been charged for the get one free packet. This is such misleading advertising. Previously I picked this up with the hairspray as well. when you advertise buy two get one free - in most of your cases the original price gets pushed up. My hart is soo sad for the way Clicks is misleading me. I hate it that I have to check if i am being cheated before purchasing.

AND THEN! I bought a electric toothbrush on your sale shelf. This was the only item infront of the label. I have a photo to prove. was R149 Now R94.99
When they swiped it at the till they wanted to charge me R299. I querried this and they said that there was only R200 off on this item and that it is R299. That is not what it was advertised for. The lady behind the till and the manager said that they could not help that someone put it in the wrong place. Seriously? there was NOTHING else advertised under that price. Only the toothbrush and the price. Please see the photo's below to prove it.

This is so sad for me to have had this experience because when I walked into the shop everyone was very kind and helpful. offering baskets greeting etc.

Clicks Retailers customer service

I went to buy medication at clicks and Tumelo the pharmacist just kept shouting at me when i start asking questions, he asked for a clicks card and when i gave it to him he asked if this was my card and i was surprised.this dude was in angry mood as if i did something bad to him, when i asked why was he asking for my personal information he started shouting at me and the other pharmacist came and asked him to go and help another customer and finished what Tumelo was doing
