Clicks Retailers pharmacy manager ignorance and attitude

Evening! This is a complaint regarding your Pharmacy manager at Clicks Cycad Polokwane. I arrived at the pharmacy with an NB prescription call regarding prescribed pills from A doctor who had to be in Surgery at 18:15. I asked one of the pharmacists to help me but they couldn't so they referred me to the manager. I told the manager my situation and before telling him the situation, I did say ‘please call the doctor to get the prescribed pills, i'll Wait in line it's no problem, just get the names of the pills and continue serving your current patient while I wait in line and keep in mind this is 18:10' he responded with attitude by saying ‘So I must leave the lady and help you' and a whole argument started and deliberately ignored everything I humbly asked him before the argument took place. He then insults me using his home language (Tsonga) which I don't understand cause I'm pedi but the words he used were understandable due to one of the words he used but I understood it. It's those words everyone would use in the own language when insulting someone. I asked nicely to say whatever he said in a language we'll both understand, he therefore denied and continued. He then requested me to sit down and wait. Keep in mind this is now 18:18. Before sitting down I told him that if the doctor doesn't answer this call, I waited 5 min then he called me up, and asks me why I am here? I tell him please call the doctor and get the name of the pills, he then says ‘ we don't have a landline' I then said how does clicks not have a landline? He responded we do have a landline but it's offilne! I asked him why didn't you tell me this in the beginning whereas I had to argue with him only to get the truth at 18:27 which is too late! He then tells me that he won't call the doctor because he's not in need of the doctor I am. I told him that the doctor told me to ask you to call him, because the pills I had to get, he wasn't going to give me because those are prescription pills. He then repeats his statement!

His attitude and ignorance to the urgent request left me appalled and disgusted. I ended up buying the airtime and we called the doctor and he spoke to him, after the call I asked him was that so hard? He then replies by saying ‘my pills are not qualified for urgent calls' I replied by saying I wasn't in a rush for the pills, I just wanted you to get the name of the pills and write them down, whilst you do that i'll Wait in line like everyone else at least knowing that I'm getting my pills! I am disgusted by his attitude and something should be done about this. I came in peace, he made it a whole big argument. This puts a bad name for clicks as a whole! The customer service there is horrific. They do what they want and whenever they want and they treat us like they don't need their jobs!

Clicks Retailers incorrect measurements of medication

I am very disappointed in the service we received at Featherbrook pharmacy yesterday 17 June 2018 .

After being admitted to hospital and having a big health scare the pharmacist proceeded to give me the incorrect measurements of the medication prescribed.

I feel that in a professional capacity this is not acceptable as it could have a huge impact on my health and recovery process.

Thank you to Elisna van der Merwe at Bryanston Clicks pharmacy that correct it without any hesitation and brilliant service.

Please let me know what the next step would be to address this as I really am not happy with what happened at all.

Your response is much appreciated.

Clicks Retailers closed on saturday morning with no reason

I went to Clicks Wintip on Saturday morning at 09:10. The door was closed with no note/reason why. When I looked inside the clicks the staff was taking selfies, laugh and making jokes. I knocked on the door/window for attention. The pharmacist showed with his hands "that they are closed"...
We went to Checkers and saw numerous people walking to clicks - still closed!
After shopping (09:45) the clicks was still closed!

Clicks Retailers service

Hi there,
We have been using Clicks Capricorn for a number of years now in regards to prescriptions and medicine in general and have always been very happy with the service.
Recently it started changing, clients are not notified when their medicine has arrived, if it has been out of stock. There is also a problem with the ordering of general medicine, Clicks Capricorn seems to always be out of stock of something.
The dispensary staff seem unfriendly and not helpful more often than not.
At one point i collected a script for my wife and a lady named Coral Shaw helped me, she seemed very helpful, almost too friendly, i just picked up a strange vibe, even so, i left it there, took the medicine and left.
The next time i was there with my wife, she collected medicine from the dispensary and was helped by Coral Shaw, but this time Coral was kind of abrupt with my wife.
i got the impression that Coral seems to like helping men, not women.
Even so, i would like to bring this under the attention of someone that will attend to the problem of the Clicks staff being rude to clients. i would like to continue shopping there, but if the attitude of the staff does not change, i will take my business elsewhere

Clicks Retailers service at clicks stores

11/06/2018 - I looked online for a product that Clicks is selling called Regal for animals, i phoned 2 clicks pharmacies. Brackenhurst didn't even bother to go to the isle and look even after i spelled it she got it wrong and i asked her to go and look and she put the phone down in my ear twice. I phoned lemon tree and they also said no but i should try alberton. I phoned Alberton and the guy who answered the phone put me through to the dispensary of all places, and she went to the isles and said to me yes they have it.
I find this very unacceptable that there is no service and no one would like to get off their chair and go and look when you phone.
I need to know why it's available online but not in your stores? And Why does your staff not know what you sell in your shops.

Clicks Retailers injury in store

Good day. On Saturday i took my elderly neighbour to Clicks Southdale to collect a script. While we where walking to the till to go and pay i slipped on a shelving advertizing board which was lying in the middle of the floor. I did not see it as i was keeping an eye on my neighbour who struggles to walk and gets tired easily. So my complaint is...non of the staff on duty came to assist me or asked if i was okay not even to mention a sorry...After we payed we saw a gentelman standing by the tills and asked if he was the manager, he said yes and we told him what happend...first of all he hardly acknowledged us just said he will go and have a look. Once again not asking if i am okay or even an apology. So with a few bruises and a stiff arm and leg. I am sure you must have some sort of why to handle situations like this in store. I am very disapointed in the way it was handled. Then i think to myself what if it was an elderly person who slipped and fell...the outcome would have been alot different...

Clicks Retailers clicks whitening nail enamel remover

It does neither. Doesn't whiten or remove nail enamel. Worst product I've ever wasted my money on. Takes triple the amount of the solution and lots of time to try and remove normal nail enamel not to mention the amounts of cotton wool needed. I expected so much more from a Clicks product. I really thought a lot of time went into testing your products before you actually sold it to your customers or in your stores and it's sad because it m Akers me less likely to want to buy your name brands.

Clicks Retailers items advertised at promotion prices but charged full price

Bought a few items and noticed that one item, supposedly on promotion, was scanned at full price. After calling the supervisor the price was corrected. On arriving home before throwing the receipt away i doubled checked the items purchased only to find more items charged at full price. So now i have to go back to the store to bring it to they attention.#frustrating#misleading

Clicks Retailers lack of professionalism

During the week I brought a script for abitrexate injections, there was a friendly young lady by the name of Raeesa who assisted me, she informed me that it was out of stock and that if they ordered it, it would be available the next day. She wrote it down and asked the other young African lady who seems to be in charge of orders to do so, and this arrogant girl didn't seem too impressed with being asked to do so. She then turned and walked away in slow motion. I was thinking about talking to the manager but he didn't seem interested either, he sat there playing with his phone and waved his hand like he was chasing flies sending all the patients to the prescription side. I really feel this sweet lady sorry, even during the fasting month it seems as if she works alone. I phoned yesterday when I was on my way to collect my medicine and it was still not there, aparently the wrong strength was ordered (I told you the other girl showed no interest). I thought I was speaking to the other lady when I phoned, I felt that it's her fault that my injection wasn't there on time and I demanded it to be delivered due to the inconsideration. Upon delivery, I found out that Raeesa arranged stock from another branch and personally delivered it. And I feel absolutely terrible concerning the fact that a fasting woman took the initiative to sort out a problem that didn't concern her. This young lady is an absolute GEM! I can guarantee that if she she ever leaves that store, Clicks Southdale will never make it, no one will go back there. Especially because of the don't care attitude the other staff members have.

Clicks Retailers bad attitude

Yesterday I went to clicks pharmacy at tubatse mall burgersfort. There were 2 assistants with customers in front of them - I was next. The one could not find the lady in front of hers presciption - something I have seen happen countless times. While she was searching for it she was yawning all the time - no haste whatsovever. After waiting for about 10 minutes I decided to look why the other lady was still buzy with the same customer - at that time there was about 10 people waiting in line. She was busy filling in a clicks card application form for the customer! I called the manager to compain and walked out. Today I went back - there was nobody at the pharmacy. The 2 first ignored me for a bit - obviously cross from the previous day. The tired one then walked away and the other lady started helping me. I always buy a lot of meds at a time to save me time and it never was an issue as it is not prescription meds. The lady refused to give me sinutabs and mybulens saying that they both contain codine. I told her that it never was a problem before and she told me I must buy it under diffrent names. I asked her if she think I was stupid and walked out. If I want I can go to 10 diffrent pharmacies and buy as many sinutabs and mybulens as I want. Everybody I talk to says they got bad service there. I spend a huge amount of money at your store - sm pretorius [protected] - go check yourself. You have lost a good customer due to 2 people that dont give a dam about customer service. They dont seem to know that the customers pay their salaries.

Clicks Retailers clicks canal walk pharmacy

On two previous occasions I have asked my doctor to fax a script to Clicks in Canal Walk. I followed up with her making sure that she used the fax number on the Clicks website. On both occasions Clicks said they didn't receive the script.
Yesterday I tried again. Followed up with my doctor, she quoted the fax number used back to me which is the one on the website. Stood in a queue for 20 minutes to be told by the pharmacist assistant that they don't have it and " they cant guarantee all faxes as they receive so many" Say What?

When I ask for it to be faxed to my home town Clicks in Langebaan, I always receive it.

The general service in Canal Walk Clicks is appalling.

Clicks Retailers clicks payroll/hr department

l have been working for Clicks Bayswater/Clicks Woodlands Bloemfontein for the past 3 years, l recent resigned at Clicks on the 1st of February 2018 but it has been over 3months now l have not received my provident fund & back pay. l've been trying to get hold of the HR department but they keep on telling me the same story, l quote "l am still on the payroll every month", today the receptionist lady hanged up on me on this number [protected], she never answered my phone calls after that.The agitating part the guys who resigned with me few days apart got their provident fund and back-pay. l am anger at this situation because l served Clicks wholeheartedly, with passion and effortless without missing one since day at work even when l was sick or writing exams but this what l get in return for all my whole being investment, l ate and drank clicks with excellence service.

Clicks Retailers signage

on 24 May 2018 (morning): clicks pharmacy, east London there is no signage and proper queuing system. while I was queuing to be assisted, a lady stood in the middle of all the tills and jumped to the first pharmacist assistant that called 'next please'. I went to the till with her to be assisted as I was next in line and the pharmacist assistant said the lady was there already when I complained.
I complained to the pharmacist that was on due as I could see that I was not being taken to mind by the assistant.
proper signage needs to be put up so that people know where to queue in order to avoid such incidents.

Clicks Retailers bad service

On the 26 may 2018 at clicks phalaborwa I bought an iron which to my suprise was R499 instead of R184 which was displayed, I immediately told the cashier (Malatji) that the price is R184 not R499. She then called her supervisor (Given Mabasa) to intervene, that was the wrong turn. Given was assisting another cashier and he shouted and said Russel hobbs iron will NEVER be R184 it might be safeway, I politely ask him to come with me of which the was only 1 price of R184 on the shelve with 2 different Russel hobbs iron. Instead of admitting the mistake he aggressively said can't I see the iron on special is not the same, I said to him the is only 1 price on the shelf for the 2 different iron of which to my understanding its the same price which is only visible. We argued until I asked him to call the manager but instead he called the packer who deals with the electronic department (Kulani) and Kulani explained politely and patiently that the mistake has been done, that he removed the price earlier on as it was an incorrect price. Given said you see the iron will never be R184 instead of him apologizing or calling the manager as requested of which I insisted as I could see that we dont reach a conclusion.

The manager (Kekana) was embarrassed and humiliated by Given, if I was her I was gonnaresign. I walked away as I was feeling pity and embarrassed on her behalf, the manager asked me what was the problem and as I was about to explain Given was busy interrupting me and making it difficult to explain to the manager. The manager ask him countless time to give me a chance to speak which he agreed after fruitless times, what a good manager you have. She apologies for the store's mistake and on Given bad client service and even ask Given to apologies of which he declined. They kept on arguing in front of me and my husband, the level your manager is been disrespected make me wonder if you hired her out of merit or what. She is not treated CPAeslike one and I asked her how will Given a talk to me with respect while he cant respect her as the manager? Given need to be taken to training or workshop for client service, he is impatient and think what ever his saying is correct. I mean it was simple as saying I apologies for the mistake but his pride doesn't allow him. What does the CPA says?

Clicks Retailers hout bay clicks pharmacy

Everytime I have to get a something from the clicks pharmacy in hout bay no matter what time of the day... There is always a long queue, and you have to wait at least 20min to be helped.
This has been going on since they very first opened, although they have made it larger, there still never seems to be enough pharmacists on duty to help the queue go quicker.

They pharmacist are fantastic and once there... The service is great.

But I have now chosen to go to a wheeler's pharmacy where you are in and out in 5 min.

This has really upset me as I now have to pay double for my medicines and where I always spent a fortune getting all the extra stuff I needed to the house, will no longer be getting from clicks.

Every other pharmacy in other clicks stores never has this problem, but as I live in hout bay, cannot drive to sea point or waterfront, especially when it is an emergency.

Very disappointed as I have been a clicks customer all my life and miss using clicks.

Clicks Retailers clicks sensitive baby wipes

I bought a "bigger pack better value" pack of wet wipes because it was such a bargain . I shop all my baby essentials at clicks and I'm really happy with the store and the stuff they provide . But this is the second time i am purchasing this wipes and I'm not satisfied with the product . The wet wipes are so dry . I can hardly clean my baby properly with it because there's no moisture in it .

I am upset because I wasted my money on this wipes. It is completely useless to me now.

Clicks Retailers clicks hibiscus mall margate

I usually get my prescription for pethidine from clicks in hibiscus mall in margate, the pharmacist only known to me as Mr G, asked my wife( who is white)if Indian guys is your husband after that Mr G refused to fill in my scripts( I feel his comments were racist), I spoke to Craig who is in charge who spoke to him and told him to order the medicine for me, When I went to fetch my medication, Mr G came straight to me and told me that the suppliers are out of stock for morphine, but I told him that my script was for pethidine but he insisted that he does not have a script for pethidine but for morphine, I asked him to pls check the script and realized that he was wrong, he took the script to the computer and ordered the pethidine, this I've also complained to Mr Craig, a week later I get a call from my doctor telling me that he got a call from Mr g questioning him about my medical condition, at this stage I believe that there was a breach of patient doctor confidentiality, I went to Mr g and asked him why did he phone my doctor and discuss my medical condition, he just stared at me and didn't want to give me an answer, to me it seems that Mr G has a personal (racist) problem with me, he is always arrogant towards me and he makes me arrogant towards him, I believe that if he had ordered morphine for me and dispensed it to me it could have been fatal to me, I wonder how many other people he has given wrong medication that had already been fatal.i request a full internal investigation into the pharmacist Mr G, . Legal proceedings have been instituted, awaiting your feedback

Clicks Retailers medical scripts

On 2018-05-05 I recieved notification from Polmed that Clicks Riverside filled my script and claimed an amount of R677-16. On 2018-05-12 I went to clicks to enquire about the script that I did not recieved yet. I was then informed that Kennith filled the script but because Polmed was offline he just reversed the script and did not continue to filled the script. The script he filled did also not include all the medication that I must received. On 2018-05-12 the members at Clicks then have to rectify Kennith's mistakes and filled my script with the medication I must recieved.
This is not the first time that Kennith messed up my script and previously also gave me the wrong medication and also did not filled the whole script.
I considerd changing to another pharmacy if Kennith are not repremanded for the mistakes he continue to make that can harmful to my health.
I would like to get a response from your department.

Worst service ever
Worst service I ever received. I went to Clicks (carnival mall in Brakpan) to see if someone can check my blood pressure. Being sick for then last week my blood pressure was high. My husband and I went straight to the clinic . While checking the operating times a man came up to us asking if we can read a notice that is on the wall because he can't read English. My husband began reading it (really thinking that he is helping this man) As he was reading I noticed the man had a badge on Kgaugelo Mashilo MANAGEMENT. The notice was that there is no clinic services at that store available. Then I realised that this man just made a fool of us. So I asked him is this the way you inform your clients. O he was just making a JOKE!

Clicks Retailers pharmacy

On 2 May I spoke to a Mr 'Paviso' at Clicks Atterbury about a the delivery of a dicarion prescription to my home. I was told that they could deliver after 9:00 the next day.

At 2.27 on 3 May I emailed the prescrprion to [protected]@clicks.co.za
I got a phone call to confirm the receipt of the email and for clarification.

It is now the 4th of May and I have not yet received the delivery. Please cancel.

I've been unnecessary in pain and more importantly could not drink the anti-inflammatories in the 24h after my muscle tear which would be very important for the healing process.

In future, would they please let the client know when they plan to ignore a delivery so that she can make alternative plans with a more reliable service provider.
