Clark Shoe Co. / Soles came apart
I had a pair of lace up shoes a number of years ago; the soles came unglued so I just did nothing but say I would never buy any more Clark shoes. Well, about 3 years ago I saw a pair of what I guess are called slides, toeless and no heel cover. I really liked them and thought they looked pretty well put together. I wore them a total of 3 times. The last time I walked to a memorial service, about 100 feet, sat down and when the service was over, got up and then found the left shoe felt pretty loose. Looked at it and the sole, black rubbery stuff, stitched to the great looking leather upper had split in several places and the stitching was therefore loose. I will never purchase another pair now.
