I used an auto glass repair service during the summer, May or June, I chose their company because they said they would be able to send me $300.00 worth of grocery vouchers for any supermarket of my choosing. I was responsible for mailing in to them a receipt of $100.00 a month and they would then mail me a monthly $25.00 voucher. They never did!

I also fell for this scam. I should have known that I was not going to receive any since my first voucher was mailed in February 2009 and it's now October 1st. I think all business' involved were dooped too. They were given this so called program to encourage customers to buy from them in hopes of this rebate. Well at least I have a new refrigerator. It would have been nice to get some free food.

I have been submitting grocery receipts since April 2009 and have not received any $25 visa cards. I have attempted to correspond with Claimyourgroceries.com but they have not responded. I'm very upset with this company for their false advertisments! Something should be done!

My husband and I also purchased matching recliners from a local furniture store with the promise of $500 of free groceries. I too mailed a couple of months worth of receipts and one day in the mail came a notice of BBZ Resource Management, Inc. was filing bankruptcy. This was back in 2009. Well, today in the mail comes a NOTICE OF INTENT TO ABANDON AND/OR DESTROY PROPERTY OF THE ESTATE for BBZ. Excuse me? Can they send something printed in simple English so common folk such as myself know what they are actually saying? All I want is what I have coming to me and that is my $500 free groceries. For Pete Sake! this is how they get away with ripping us off. Just string it along for 4+ years and you forget. I had to look up on the internet who this filing was on! ARGH!

Left holding the voucher and not happy...
I don't understand how the company (BBZ) could offer more vouchers than they can back up? Dont' they have a bonded amount or some legitimate way that something like this is carried out? Also the furnature store that gave me my usless voucher did not call me to try and explain what had happened with BBZ so I will not go there again, Ashley or Tenpenny furnature! Even if they felt they did not have a responsibility, I think they did! They offered the vouchers, and I bought the furnature based on the grocery money "THEY SAID" I would get back. It's not just the money either it is also the time and effort that was put in to secure payment on the vouchers. It is also the fact that we spent our money at a particular store per the guidelines to get reimbursed.
Shame on Tenpenny, and Ashley furnature for not treating me like a customer that they would ever want back in their store. If I were running the store I would have called every customer that recd the vouchers and at least let them know I was concenred, and unhappy about the end result. To stick your head in the sand is not how to do it guys!

I have been sending "Grocery voucher dept." mail since May 2009 and never received a $25 giftcard as promised and neither respond to my email. If they move into a different address they could have send me a new current address, so my Jan. 2010 mail could not be returned.

Claimyourgroceries.com Voucher redemption online

Our family purchased a couch and chair from Roberts Home Furnishings in Cloquet, MN in May 2009. They advertised if we spent over 500.00 (which we did) we would receive 500.00 in free groceries from our store of choice. We chose Walmart and the regestration went fine through Claimyourgroceries.com and then you had to go to Valuebuzz.com to print out a voucher every month, send in 100.00 worth of receipts and the voucher to receive 25.00 per month to spend at your store of choice. I was able to print off the vouchers in June and July 2009 but now to get one for August it says the web sight is no longer there. I still haven't received any 25.00 for either June or July 2009. What do we do now?

Claimyourgroceries.com Never received any vouchers

I believe this program is a scam:
This is my history

It has been 20 weeks since I submitted Jan 2009,

It has been 16 weeks since I submitted Feb 2009

It has been 12 weeks since I submitted March 2009

It has been 8 weeks since I submitted Apri 2009.

I received confirms but have not received any vouchers. They owe me $100 in vouchers. I sent 5 emails.

After many emails, phone calls, and sending receipts every month, I finally received Jan, Feb, and March gift cards ($75). I am still waiting for Apri, May, and June. I suspect 12 weeks.

I wrote to the BBB of AZ about Claimyourgroceries.com (BBZ Resources Management) they have a simple compliant form and the company did respond. They also told me they were overwhelmed with the amount of submissions. I suggest if you have trouble file a compliant and you will get action.

The company called, I spoke with Nicole DeLuna and she did send the cards. So I will wait and see if they continue to send the gift cards.

Good Luck

I saw something online about Troy Warren scamming some more people now in 2020 and did an internet search for "nostalgia" sake and found this thread. My post right above this one was dated May 9, 2011. I think I reached the agreement with ADT sometime mid-2010 so at least I had gotten $10 off for one year at the time I posted. Then wouldn't you know, later that SAME MONTH, I was informed I was going to be transferred in my job to a new state, so I ended up ending my alarm monitoring system, so my "payback" stopped right there. Oh well. I think it sucks that (1) this guy is STILL scamming people and (2) people don't seem to have an inkling that a scam could be a possibility, enough to do an internet search of "Troy Warren" and see all the decades of scams associated with him.

I recently purchased furniture at my local furniture store and they were having a promotion to recieve a certificate for "claimyourgroceries.com" with every purchase. I have gone on line several times in the last few months to try and register to start redeeming my so called "rewards" but there's no web site. How can you register to redeem something on line, when there's no "on line" to register at? This appears to me to be nothing but a gimick rip off to entice you to purchase products for a reward you'll never recieve.

When I bought the bed from Factory Direct in Tukwila, WA along with buying the product, they offered a $500.00 gift card. We were asked to go to claimyourgroceries.com. I went to that website and was able to print the monthly voucher. You need to send the voucher along with the receipt from the accredited store that you chose the address they provided.

I chose Costco and was promised that a gift card will be sent after 4-6 weeks. The first voucer I've sent was last May 12 for April voucher. No gift card was sent until now.

I planned on going back to Factory Direct who offered this promotion to me .

It pays to fight for your rights and get what you deserve.

In my case, I dealt with a security services company in the purchase of an alarm system. My situation is similar to the one described above with the furniture. I was in the market for an alarm anyway, contacted 3 or 4 different companies, got in-home estimates from all of them, and it was virtually a tie between the ADT system and another company. When the folks selling the ADT system sweetened the deal with the vouchers, I was skeptical, but I figured I had nothing to lose since their monthly fee was the same as that of their competitors (with no up-front costs for either). Even though I was very skeptical, I figured I didn't have much to lose and I saved my receipts and submitted them every month. I wasn't surprised that the deal fell through, but I was a bit surprised that the security services company that sold me the system is no longer in business. But I negotiated with ADT by explaining to them that the defunct company was acting as an agent by estoppel (the guy who owned the company even claimed to be a franchisee of ADT on a public website), and ADT agreed to lower their monthly monitoring fee by more than $10/mo. Whether or not i could have gotten them to lower my monthly rate anyway, without the specter of this failed promotion, I don't know, but I figure I am saving over $120/yr and in 8 years, I will have gotten back the $1K that I would have earned from the gas and grocery promotions anyway, and I don't have to do any more work saving receipts. And as I said, this was all gravy anyway.

I just wish I could have played some part in getting all the players in this scam prosecuted for fraud (the alarm company, the owners of BBZ, the owners of My Free Travel, etc.).

I've been sending in receipts for 13 months with many promises and not receiving any rebate gift cards. The last letter of receipts was returned as undeliverable, they had moved again with no forwarding address. I am very frustrated, and I do think that company's like this should not be allowed in the United States. Its just another scam. When they swithched names they even asked for another $9.95 which they keep until the last payment of gift card. Well I never even got the first gift card, so needless to say I lost that also. This is definitely illegal. They need to be prosucuted, and this sort of false promises needs to be put to a stop.

I never received the money I was promised either. The first time I sent in a claim it was in May 2009. I did receive a email about the bankruptcy thing. I'm sending in all the info and hopefully I will something out of it. Has anyone else sent stuff in to file a claim with the bankruptcy people?

Just an update. Finally on January 9th, Linders Furniture kept their word and delivered the new TV to us. My husband was patient with all of their delays and postponements - and I would not have been - so sometimes, I guess patience pays off. It took A LOT of perseverence - but we finally got a 42 inch HDTV as payment for the failed grocery voucher we received in November of 2008. It is always worth the effort to fight back when you are wronged. Out of the $1, 100 in gas and grocery vouchers we received from Linders Furniture and Mitsubishi, we got a $500+ TV for FREE and Mitsubishi gave us a $300 settlement. We were prepared to go to small claims court - but didn't have to. These stores and companies who handed out these worthless vouchers to enhance their sales are just going to have to take the loss - but consider this: most of the people who got the vouchers gave up when trying to use them and got nothing for it, and/or they never even tried to cash in on the voucher to begin with. If you are angry about being cheated, you should be. The stores are liable to you to either give you a credit on your purchase or give you the money. Just don't give up! Fred Thomas (Carol) hit a block wall a few times and won her small claims case - and she had to wait a long time to actually get the money from the store, but eventually, she did get the money. My advice is to never walk away from this kind of fight. I won't be writing on this forum again so I send everyone my best wishes.
