City Of Tshwane / refund from municipality

We sold our home in rooihuiskraal last year august. (account no [protected]) our municipality account was closed and we were informed that any amounts outstanding will be paid back to us. Our attorneys send through the cancellation of our account after the house was registered into the new owners name. After lots of telephone calls and emails we still haven't got the amount due to us. Please help us to get this settled with the municipality and to get our money back from the.

    After my property was sold on 15 Dec 2018.
    I called e-mailed. Visit City of Tshwane and still waiting for my Refund. Please can somebody call me on

    Good afternoon
    My property was sold and registered on 13 Feb 2018. My attorney submitted a refund form numerous times and still no refund.

    I phoned the council as I relocated to Cape Town in February. I was told that the account was closed but a journal still needs to be done in order to activate my refund. Up until today no refund.

    This is totally unacceptable. I got information that amongst the piles and piles of refunds to be made, refunds dating back up to 2011 was still not done.

    Do I need to contact the Mayor of Pretoria or Carte Blanch? This is really unacceptable. It one misses one single payment of pay a day or two late, everything gets cut off? This is not fair.
