Citibank service, and misleading

I received an email from you today that I was invited to apply for a friendship reward card or some name like that and it Implied to me that I would get it, i applied and got denied, i called customer support everyone was nice but the supervisor he was short, not nice, cut me off, rude that makes twice this has happened last summer I was pre qualified for a credit card i applied got denied i called customer support she was very rude and very unhelpful that makes 2 hard inquiries on my credit report by being misled by Citibank I like my secured card very well, I know my credit isn't the best low 600's but I am trying to build my credit if this is the way Citibank does business I may just consider paying my little secured card off and cancel it and move on, i can get another one of them anytime I don't want to because I really like it and it's a shame but I don't like the misleading capital one has never done that I started with there secured credit card and later I received prequalified offer and got a good rewards card like they said I want to think your company isn't supposed to work like this but it does and it don't work for me so I love your secured card, don't like the misleading, and half of costomer support has been rude and very unhelpful sorry so lengthy

Citibank costumbre service loans

My name is Pedro luque meras, [protected], miami, fl, 33145, I have received three letters of threat to block the account, the first I went to the nearest branch, called and nobody knew anything, the second letter call the number that appeared there, they put me with the right person and after some questions they told me that everything was fine, the third letter, finally they told me that I had to send a copy of the residence, I went back to the branch and they sent it to me by fax, summary: I have My account blocked a week ago and nobody knows anything.

Today I call my branch again, after telling the story the representative put me on the phone with those who are taking the case, they asked me questions about my work and they asked me to send them a picture of my ID, at the end they sent that information and they told me to wait 24 to 48 hours for them to unlock the account, it does not matter if I've been stuck with it for a week, I think they just lost a client because of the inefficiency of many.

Citibank banking services

On Friday, April 20, 2018, I went to deposit my work check at the bank on 2022 S Archer Ave Chicago IL. After depositing my check in the ATM I went to the teller because my account was blocked due to an overdraft on my account. In the process of trying to get my account unblocked the teller states that she can't honor my request because I deposited my check in the ATM, in the 20+ yrs I've been a customer I have never had this happen to me at no time have I ever had an issue with unblocking my account using the teller the teller in question is named Li Li mie or me or Mi I can't be too sure of the last name. As of today I'm very upset.

Citibank credit card deception

I have a cit iadvantage card. I rarely use it because of the following issues that the bank must take some part of the responsibilities:

For three years now, I have been given the runaround by both american airlines and cathay pacific airlines, but these two are only the beginning. This problem is with all the airlines and banks that are associated with the credit cards...
The banks advertise for credit cards offering thousands of air miles, if you will take their credit card. They run ads stating that you can fly anywhere with these free miles and enjoy other countries, so they want the customer to spend a lot of money on their cards to build up more and more miles.. Now comes the "catch 22" with this scam. People accumulate air points but when it comes time to try and use them, the airlines all play the same games. American airlines says that they must wait for cathay pacific to release seats before they can assign me a seat with points. Cathay says that aa must submit for a miles seat in advance.. I am trying to make a reservation 10 months in advance so I do not have a problem.. For 3 years now, I have tried to get a seat on a flight from newark, nj to surabaya, id. And use my miles and for 3 years all seats are not available whenever I requested seating, even with an open agenda. Aa says that airlines do not release seats with miles until the last minute, in case they can sell the seat. Usually, within a few days of flights. How can anyone make arrangements for a trip and wait until two days before leaving to arrange for the flight? I am trying to take a 30 day trip to indonesia. I have 512, 000 air miles with aa and if I can not use my miles for a trip, then what is the purpose of using credit cards offering these benefits? The banks advertise as does the airlines that they belong to a group of alliance airlines so you can switch off from one airlines to another. No problem! Really? I know what cathay is doing. The airlines waits until the last minute when seats have not been sold and then they will allow one or two seats to be used for air points. So, the banks push to use their credit cards and the airlines advertise that you can use points to travel anywhere. This is to get you to spend more money with the credit cards and when it is time to try and use the points, there is never available seats until the very last minute.. If I was paying cash for the seat, I was told that I could make an advanced reservation, so why can't I use miles, which are supposed to be the same as cash? The points are offered to lure people into using an airline's specific credit card with a lie at the end...

Citibank credit card account has been closed

I live abroad for the past 8 years and it has been 3 months since I´ve paid my last bill (on time) and I did forget to pay on time a few times.
They decided by themselves to close my account, but I´ve a Citibank client for the past 15 years.
There is a total lack of respect and if this is the way that citibank wants to behave with clients, I will move to another bank.

Citibank personal banker in a branch

In January I went into the Miami Shores branch to speak with Monique R. Delancy, Personal Banker, NMLS ID: 981470. I had received a notification that there was an issue with a Pop Money debit 6 months earlier that the bank did not catch and my account was debited $850.00 6 months later with zero communication to me. This debit overdrew my account and I was happy to pay it down but needed some time so Monique opened case
#R-[protected] and said she would be in touch with me soon.

It is now mid April, I have not heard back from Monique once, I have left several messages for her and emails, called customer service and escalated the matter, received yet another promise I would be called back in 24 hours before leaving the country, and STILL have not heard from anyone at your bank. I am extremely disappointed at your lack of concern for your clients. My account has since been closed while I was making payments on it, I have received letters threatening collections, my father has spoken to Monique once last week, and again she "promised" to call him back and has not. I am now in SE Asia until May and my father is trying to settle the account but no one will help him. His name is Damon Miller and he is the former President of US Bank. Will someone PLEASE contact him to settle this before you unnecessarily send me to collections because of your lack of communication. Monique should be coached as this is no way to treat a client who is doing everything to make things right.

I hope someone who actually cares receives this complaint because we do not know what else we can do at this point : (

Hello, tania; sorry for being redundant - "just" that on this thursday, april 12th, I am going to "trade" at the citibank at 7300 n. kendall dr. miami, fl 33156 - my 600, 000, 000 shares of mu - nasdaq (p. s. don't worry - I already have my account :-).

And, i, eric tab nadel, must add: it is rather saddening that the "angry, abusive, jealous" branch manager at the 13608 n. kendall dr. citibank is "quite as refined as fecal matter," although; in reality; that bank manager is "quite jealous" of my micron technology, inc. florida branch ownership & is "not willing" to allow myself in his branch, out of core "putrid" behavior, in reality - yet, nevertheless, I still have my outstanding account & will most easily "work" with the 7300 n. kendall dr. miami, fl 33156 branch without any problems, whatsoever & simply, "trade" 600, 000, 000 shares of mu during bank hours into my account, in simple form, & focus. that's all :-).

Citibank customer service

I want to tell people how incompetent customer service people are at citibank. I want to transfer money from citibank FD account to citibank savings account. Over the last 15 days, everyday I have talking to citibank representative to tell me what form do I need to fill, each one told me to fill & upload a form online which I have been doing everyday and it gets rejected every day. After uploading forms 4-5 times & getting rejected, I again called them & now the new representative told me that what I was told previously was incorrect and I am supposed to send form by postal mail. These are just bunch of incompetent people who don't care of customer service. Did they not know that I am supposed to send form by mail.
These people I talked to are:
Shilpa Kewal, Sarat Kumar, Arvita Karmarkar, Robin Miranda.

In another case, I called them regarding repatriation of NRO funds & they told me somebody will call me after few days. I get a call from Suresh Babu after 10 days who told me he will send me email with all the instructions which I never received. This has happened two times.
I requested to talk to the manager who refused to talk to me saying that he is busy. I can't believe such a poor customer service.

I plan to take out my accounts from out of this bank ASAP.

I am facing the same problem, my repatriation request is pending since Feb 2019, its almost 6 moth and these Citibank guys are giving new execute every single time. This Same guy Suresh Babu also called me saying that he will send the email - guess what nothing happen

Basically they want our money to be in their bank, that's all. They are treating me as a criminal - what a pathetic company and shameless jokers!

Citibank closed citibank card account:

Hi,
I just spoke with Michael Combat's office regarding the horrible treatment I have had in the past 48 hours. I am trying to pay off an account that was included in our refinance of our home. Now mind you I only have the 1st 12 digits of the account. I have no record of the last four numbers at all

I have a check made out to Citibank Universal from Wells Fargo, but I need the past 4 numbers to make sure it is credited to this closed account. I called support yesterday @ 12:45 pm PST and the representative was going to fax me a copy of my statement with the last four numbers, he did that now I have the number and four X's no numbers

If I do not receive this information I will make sure the auto payments your now receiving are suspended because you are refusing to let me pay my bill.

I have furnished all security question to agents but yet they refuse furnish me the compete account number to pay this account off. This is not rocket science and I appreciate security, but this is a closed account and I want to mail the check, the check is from Wells Fargo WFG Mortgage Title Company to pay off this account.

Please call me, I have no time for letters .

Citibank (florence) teller - san bruno, ca 94066

I am a disabled and pregnant woman. I walked into the Citibank branch in San Bruno, Ca 94066 today(3/29/2018)- at about 1pm, and I waited patiently in line with 3 other people ahead of me. There was only one teller who was tending to the customers in line, her name was Florence, who happens to be of Asian decent.
When it was my turn to be assisted, I politely asked to have three of my bank statements printed out. Florence seemed irritated because there was already other people waiting behind me, she told me that I coukd have printed my statements online. I insisted on waiting patiently for my printouts, and Florence did not look too happy about my request. Finally, when she completed my request, I was going through my printouts to assure that nothing else was missing, she yelled at me and told me to move aside because there are other people waiting behind me. I was in shock by the way she spoke to me like that. I am also a Citibank customer, and there should never be a situation where an employee would ever speak to a customer in that manner.

I walked out of that San Bruno branch in tears, because I am disabled and pregnant and I couldn't believe a Citibank employee was treating me, a customer in such a horrible manner.

Citibank citibank atm theft

My husband went to make a $1, 570.00 in his Citi Bank checking account at 8:00 AM on 3/23/18 through the ATM before heading to work. The ATM spit out a receipt saying "I'm sorry. Because of technical problems, I can't return your cash right now. This piece of paper doesn't specify the amount that was just deposited at the time. When he checked his account the account stated $0 dollars. He waited 2 more hours till the branch open to speak to the branch manager. During this time he had to miss work. When 10am came around and the branch manager Reina Hernandez arrived she simply told him that the branch has nothing to do with the ATM and that this happens often. Completely wipe her hands and wanted nothing to do with it. She didn't lift a finger to try and help. She went inside the bank and went on about her business; she didn't even provide my husband with the customer service number. My husband called the number on the back of the debit card where he was told he was going to have to wait 10 days and they couldn't do anything about it. I consider this theft from Citi Bank. No one wants to take resposibilty and do anything about resolving the problem. My husband told the branch (#518)"manager"he was going to call the cops and she simply answered"okay called me when they get here"as my husband waited outside the branch. The police made a police report and recommended to my husband to file a civil lawsuit against Citi Bank which we have already contacted our lawyer for this matter. Our bills are completely on hold due to this and we are being charged late fees. We have contacted every number we could find and search on the internet and everyone has given us the run around and told us that we have to wait 10 days and that a investigation has been open. As I did some research I read that a lot of other Citi Bank customer have has the same problem several times and no one has resolved their issue either. This is the most unprofessival bank and incociderated people to ever trust with you hard earned money. As per the branch (#518)"manager"Reina Hernandez once I came to the branch to get an explanation why couldn't she just open the ATM and withdraw our money that was in limbo and we need asap to cover out due bills, she was the most unprofessinal branch"manager" we have ever dealt with. She refuse to help us with anything and actually threaten us with having to close our account. She just repeated that this happens all the time and she can't do anything about it. She mention that they have a company called brinks that comes once a month and she knows nothing else that she can do for us as she walked away smiling and got back to her personal call in her office. She said to me that she would have the cops drag me out of the branch (#518) if she had to. The nastiest person I have ever come across in my life. I thought managers are there to help the customer and see if they can reach a solution to the problem at hand. This woman didn't lift a pen to help instead made threats, claimed this happens all the time at this branch (#518) and she smiled to me and my family as she walked away. My husband spent an entire day trying to resolve this horrible matter with zero resolution. He had to miss work which means more money loss due to this horrible matter. Today is 3/27/18 Monday and we still have not gotten our money back. Again this is theft from Citi Bank. We have called customer service and we have been hung up on and given the run around over and over. We have yet to cover our pass due bills no one is willing to help. I have some family members that have Citi Bank and theft will be closing their accounts due to this disaster and deft. As I mention we have contacted our lawyer and will take this to court since we feel some one is go to answer for this mess and theft.

Citibank poor service not releasing my money on time

I was having a surgery coming up on march 19th, 2018. As i was at the hospital Lenox Hill NYC, on March 16th, i was trying to process a payment for the amount needed of 2, 000.00. The process payment at the terminal say declined. I tried again along with the receptionist clerk helping me to process the payment for the second time, was declined. At that moment i called the bank to verify the using of my debit card was genuine. The representative tried to help me but still payment was keep being declined. I asked to speak to a supervisor, she tried to help me to resolve the problem saying was a matter of proving the right person using the account, i was getting frustrating as my surgery date was approaching, i need this to be done, well nothing was resolved even when was proved that the account was mine. I left the hospital office very dissapointed at Citibank and the way they handle my money. The next day Saturday 17th i went to one of the branches near my home to talk to one of the Rep, i was with him for at least 25 minutes trying to fix the issue. Afyer going tru my account and the system He assured me everything was good to go. When the day of my surgery came i went to the financial dept to process the payment before my schedule appointment for 1:00pm started. The same thing swipe my card was declined. Was very worry, totally dissapointed and upsept. No good business at all. Was never expecting this kind of bad business specifically, being with Citibank for years. Finally, i had to use my Discover credit card to cover the whole amount of money for my surgery to be done. I feel i cant trust on my own money in my city bank account. Im very dissapointed. Ready to transfer and do business with a diferent bank.

Citibank credit card service

the card never got sent to my house so I don't have a number to pay my bill. I know they have the right address because they mailed me a paper saying it was past due but no account info in the letter. The worst part is there is no way to get a hold of the sender. The sender of the letter "G.Stevens" vice president gave me a bogus number to reach him at. I cant get my account info and I cant pay my bill because i cannot contact these people.

Citibank international money transfer.

I transferred February 13, 2018, $6, 000.00 from our account with bic: genodef1s12 - iban: de13 [protected], to the account of Daniel's Development Group Inc. with the Citibank N.A. Routing # [protected], Account # [protected], 700 N Brand Blvd. Glendale, CA 91203.
The funds, ($6000.00) were not deposited into the account of the Development Group Inc., 18541 Sherman Way, Reseda, CA 91335, to this date; after a period of 37 days.
I filed an investigation request with our bank bic: genodef1s12 on march 09, 2018, at a cost of Euro 50.00. Thirteen (13) days have passed since the filing of the investigation request an we have no response from your company.
I do expect an answer to this complaint by Tuesday March 27, at 12:00 eastern daylight time.
Additionally I expect to be made hole again by transferring the equivalence of Euro 50.00 (at 1.232645 as of 3/9/18) into our Bank of America account # [protected], Washington / Centinela Branch, Los Angeles, CA 90066.
I will file this complaint with the cfpb on Tuesday March 27, after 12:00 eastern daylight time, should either of my two expectations fail.

Citibank customer service sucks

When our personal account was blocked, we called Citibank & they told us they were going to closed our account because they reviewed it & thought we were using our account for business activities. However, we still had a business account so we decided to deposit or tax refund into that account. They closed all branches in MA, NH & RI, so our closest branch is in CT - 2 ½ hours away. When we went to the branch in Bridgeport, CT we were told our personal account was not closed, we just had to deposit money to bring the balance up. So, we deposited the check and were told the funds would be available the following day. When we tried to log into the account the next day, we couldn't. We called Citibank again & were told our personal account was closed! Even though they told us it wasn't going to be closed. We drove back to CT to get the check back but the branch was closed because of the forecasted snow - but there was no snow on the ground! We drove back up the following day to get the check & we were told the check was sent to us overnight & they gave us a UPS tracking number. We called Citibank again & were told it would take 5 - 7 business days for us to receive the check! Ugh! We continued to call Citibank & each time we were told a different story! It's been 12 business days & we STILL haven't received the check! This is unacceptable!
That's our only source of income - we can't feed our kids! It's our money. It was YOUR error, not ours! Send us our check now! Send it overnight!

Citibank customer service center

I made the payment thru atm in my credit card. But the receipt came out printed technical issue and couldn't return my cash right now. And call customer aervice center. I called customer service and these people transferred me from one department to another for 1 hr 15 mins. And still couldn't figure out what to do. And finally asked me to go to the branch where I used the machine to take care of this issue. This bank sucks as Hell. Citi bank just has name with lot with lot of dump and under skills people. I will give zero to this bank.

Hello, I called to report a stolen care today. I also let the young reciever at your end know that one of my cards seems to be fishy (I am paying monthly payments for a card I don't beleive I have).. (on-line banking issue). She was confused and transferred me to someone further. This lady is Anna employee # V f b 4 x w t.

She had an attitude of refusal to everything I said? It was so strange. It was as if she was paranoid of me the entire time a made a statement. Her attitude was also a "looking down upon you" attitude. I was very shocked at what I was recieving from citibank's end?

This conversation was an embarrassment to our country. Very honestly, embarrassing. All I needed was help regarding a CC that I'm paying payments on YET doesn't seem to exist. I do still need help on this issue however it was very important that I report This employee in the midst of my problem situation here.

PS: I also had to repeat my cc number to Anna 3 x because she wouldn't (or couldn't) listen well (it seemed). That's a bit beside the point though?

I have received your Feb 5, 2018 letter on February 12, 2018.

Your letter is misleading and incorrect. It indicates that you have not read our information submitted and that you are not making a good faith attempt to resolve this situation.

First, I did receive a voice mail message from you and I returned that call. I also left a voice mail message indicating that the number you called was my cell phone and it would be better if you could call my office number which I also left or you [protected]). I explained that I turn my cell phone ringer off while I am at work. I told you about The information below, specifically that the Tip and Tell indicator was activated and that the oven was not received in good condition. You did not call back until about Feb 1, 2018, but you called my cell phone again and left no message. I did return the call and left y0ou another voice mail message.

Second, I never nor did my son indicate that the shipment was in good condition. We noted that the ‘Tip and Tell Indicator" was activated demonstrating that the oven had been tipped over during transit before it was delivered to us. This was noted on the delivery bill that was signed by the driver and my son. A copy of this was included in our claim.

The driver was in a hurry and just left the crate (telling my son that the "Tip and Tell Indicator) note on the delivery bill would be sufficient if there were any internal issues. The oven was difficult to uncrate and remove the wooden crate material so it took us a few days before we could unpack the oven of and perform an internal inspection. After uncrating and inspecting the oven we contacted merchant by email indicating there were problems with oven. The oven showed images of a significant number of scratches, indicating the oven was not new and had been a used and repackaged oven or damaged in warehouse or shipment.

We tried to use the oven, but it did not function correctly (we do not know if these were shipping damages or manufacturing defects).

Therefore, the oven was not delivered and received in satisfactory condition. The oven had marks on it externally and the oven did not function correctly. We told the merchant that we wanted to return the oven because of the damages and the merchant agreed to take it back. First, the merchant asked us to prepare the oven-packing crate for return shipment and we told them we did not have the carpentry skills necessary to prepare the oven crate for return shipping. The merchant asked us to locate a handyman to prepare the crate and we told them we do not know a handyman that could do the necessary work. Finally, the Merchant told us they would look for someone to assist with the crating of the oven for return---that is the last communication we received from the Merchant on Sept 8, 2017.

We want to return the oven to the merchant and they should be responsible for creating and preparing the oven for shipment and for shipping costs.

Citibank business account.

Hi,
I have Citi Business account for over an year now, I have online tech support business and I receive Money via different merchants account. I had no problem or complaints till last month, when my account went overdrawn, My account was blocked right away and Citi also blocked my personal account with $12K balance in it. Since my account was blocked I could not see the transaction online to see the exact negative balance anyway I brought my account to positive, but it was still blocked. after calling million times and going to the local branch where manager could not help us, as she had no clue about what is going on. Finally we were connect to Mr. Dennis ( head of Commercial Fraud Dept) from California, now he is telling me, since I was using E check company for last couple of months and I had around 40 checks bounced, he will hold my personal account as collateral, incase any other customers complaint and wants a refund. He said people are calling for refund and stating it was a Fraud Transaction. I tried explaining to Mr. Dennis that it is not fraud as I have Call logs for every check, which was deposited in my account. but he was not willing to listen, he told me that my business is fraud and I getting dirty money in my account, which Offended me. I do not care if CTI hold my money for next year, because I know if you do, end of the year you will have to pay it back to me with interest. but what troubles me is, why this was not disclose to me at the time I was opening an account, the manager never told me that if I have a certain percent of checks bounced, CITI will hold my personal funds ? every company I have done business with in past disclose their rules and regulations and clarifies all terms and conditions. I do not trust CITI at all now and I will close all of my 5 business accounts with you guys and on top the way your Representatives speak with your customers is ridiculous. I had a good impression about CITI bank, which is ruined by your Employees. I will make sure I spread this news to everyone I know personally and over all my social media accounts.

Citibank terrible customer service

I am disgusted with Citibank. I have been a customer for over 5 years and cannot believe the shabby treatment I have received. Back in December, 2017 I submitted forms that were requested. I received a threatening letter in January, 2018 that my account would be closed unless I sent the same forms again. When I did this again on February 5, it still was not good enough. I was asked for the same information again, this time without attaching any forms and asking me to fill in information in sections of the Beneficial Ownership Declaration that have nothing to do with what was being required.

I called customer service and got no where with them. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I would have to wait 24 to 48 hours. I have less difficulty applying for a loan and certainly less paperwork. It seems that you are doing everything to encourage me to close my account by this kind of treatment.
